I have ate here often. The other day I go with five people total and order a family plate. When the bill came in they added a large party fee of $12.50. I called them out on it, I had to ask for my $10 tip back. We ordered the Combo for 3 and the roasted Chicken. The rice is fantastically seasoned and w the pickled pepper, Baba Ghanoush/ Hummus and chicken and kebabs, the combination was to die for. Ridiculously good. Maybe one of the best Mediterranean restaurants Ive eaten at. The pita soaking in the juices of the kebabs were a great treat as well. Great Service great food. Also fair warning, the chicken does take time to roast, do not gorge yourself on the hummus and baba Ghanoush with the pit, leave some room for the food.

I had the mixed grill with shish tawook chicken, lamb, & beef kofta. I m happy they don t short you on the grilled veggies & garlic side portions. The meal was very filling. Prices are up there. I always order another grilled tomato with my food. I love the char on the meats. Everyone here was welcoming and lovely, bread gets cold quickly. The rice wasn t my favorite, I wouldn t get again. They have side salad, soup, or another classic baba ghanouj. I ll always order the hummus every time I come by it s very creamy & authentic. Will be back to try sandwiches!

Both my 2 experiences at Tarboosh were pleasant. They make things to order, so some of the items can have a longer cook time, but it is fresh. You may argue that it tastes similar to other places serving the same type of food, and I agree, but the service level makes the difference. I would like to highlight one of the service staff Amin - it was my mistake as I missed giving him the special instructions about my food, and by the time I realized and told him about it, my food was already prepared... I told him it was ok, as it was my fault, but he still went ahead and asked the kitchen to replace it. Thanks Amin!

Honestly I felt like I was back home again, the food was incredibly amazing and very authentic taste! Hummus, fatoosh, and fries tasted amazing like it s home made! The shawarma was amazing and honestly one of my top places for shawarma now, and the mix grill is by far one of the best mix grill plates I ve had. The portion is right for the price. I was here today 6/28/2024. The gentleman waiting on us took the order nicely but it took over 30 minutes to even get acknowledged that it was running late. By this time we had finished the starters & lost interest. We packed our dine in food and left. This was our first time and most definitely our last. The lady on the floor was the only one who seemed to care. The gentleman on the counter and kitchen couldnt care less. Terrible customer service. Loved every bite! My husband and I stumbled upon this place after reading the reviews. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a big smile by our lovely server named Heba. She was professional and very kind. We ordered the mix grill with hummus and rice plus a salad. We ended up getting free fries due to a miscommunication. Heba was so kind. The food was delicious. I mean seriously good plus good portions. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The kebab and beef chunks were succulent and to top it off the rice was aromatic! Everything was definitely a treat! I ve lived in DFW for 13 years and have tried multiple Mediterranean restaurants including the classics. Tarboosh is up there with the BEST and it s only been open a couple of months. Some of the best middle eastern food I ve had in America. Strong start with the apps hummus and baba ganoush were smooth, fresh and bright. Fattoush salad was delicious. Chicken was perfectly char grilled. Beef kebabs was so tender and lamb was well seasoned and not too grimy. We did the buffet during Ramadan Iftar, it was amazing. Very delicious, variety of food and amazing service. Highly recommended!!

Delicious food with amazing charcoal flavor. Mixed grill is great with 3 different kebabs and 2 sides. Portions are quite large and I have no problem splitting a mix grill plate with a 2nd person.
