This was our first time eating here after moving to Richardson and my fiance and I really enjoyed our food and experience. We shared the chicken egg rolls, spicy tuna and salmon rolls, and the spicy cowboy ramen. It was all really good but especially the ramen! The service was really good and we never went long without our waiter checking on us. We will for sure come back again.

Amazing sushi rolls, super fresh and tasty, so many different rolls to choose from. We ordered 4 different rolls and some nigiri. The Yum Yum roll, salmon roll, Philadelphia roll, and U Lay roll were all delicious, but the Yum Yum roll and the U Lay roll were our favorites. Service was really friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Definitely recommend! It wasn t busy at all on Saturday night and I can t imagine why, they are better and more affordable than many sushi places in the area.

SO. DELICIOUS. I ordered their chicken katsu bento box, and every single item is so fresh. The chicken is super juicy, the sushi, salad, and fried tempura were on point. I also really appreciate how they took the time to package everything so neatly. For example, I ordered a sprite, and they put the bottle of sprite and a cup of ice in a separate bag. Definitely ordering from Kansha again!

After we visited Kansha last month, we ve become regulars. It s such an authentic Japanese atmosphere in every possible way. We ve always been greeted warmly by lady who is so happy to see us and very friendly. Menu offers variable of dishes and sushi. Service is always prompt and top. Chef is Japanese and sometimes greets us wit smile. But the star of the show is food! We ve been trying couple of types of sushi and our favorite is Dallas. What we appreciate in Kansha s sushi it s perfect balance of ingredients and flavors. It s never overloaded with rice. Miso soup that comes with Bento box probably the best miso I ve tried in my life. Bento portions are sizable and ingredients always fresh and hot. Separate appreciation of ramens and soups. We ve tried several, and my husband said he head never eaten better ramen. I know it might not sound convincing, but it s definitely worth trying. All in all I couldn t recommend more!

We came here on Monday at 7pm but we were surprised that the restaurant was lack of customers. At first, I thought it was because of the beginning of the week, so there were not many people dining here, however, when the dishes came out, I realized that it was because of the quality of the food. The server was merely fine but we still waited like 20 minutes for the food meanwhile there were only 2 tables, one another table and us. We ordered 1 roll (5pcs) $20, 1 sashimi combo (9pcs) $33, and a grilled combo $33. We expected the dishes would give us a wow since that was our first time dining there, but we were totally disappointed, the fish quality was below the average, the roll and the sashimi were tasteless (completely not fresh at all). The grilled combos were tasteless too, there were 5-6 skews but mostly vegetables, the meat skews were not seasoned and the worst thing was it costed us $33. We definitely will never comeback, the total bill was $93.95 but our stomachs were still not feeding enough or even felt good with the fish quality. Come on! You are killing your business if you keep serving this bad food quality. How did you get 4.6 stars?

Beautiful traditional Japanese interior styling. I had the tonkotsu ramen which was quite good and came out of the kitchen piping hot in under 10min. Both the food and ambiance reminded me of ramen shops in Tokyo. The place was really quiet on a Monday evening, but I enjoyed it nonetheless and hope to return and try more soon!

It was a nice little spot. The atmosphere was quiet and decor was standard for an Asian restaurant. I was drawn by the fact that they offered Yakatori. I was not disappointed. The meat and veggies were tender with great seasoning. The charcoal and smokiness was not overpowering and didnt detract from the lite seasoning placed on the meat and veggies. We also wanted the avacado bombs and a California roll. Neither were a disappointed and were very fresh and crisp. The avacado bombs you could make a meal out of they are so good! Ive been on a search for deep fried sushi rolls since we left Cancun. This place hit the spot. Everyone is so welcoming and Ahse, the chef, was so accommodating to my request. I got deep fried California roll and deep fried yummy roll. My husband got the sushi lunch pick three. They make traditional fried rice with corn, sweet peas, carrots, etc. Yummy!!! We drove almost an hour and it was worth it. Will become regular customers.

Cute little Japanese bistro. The two gentlemen behind the counter were polite and efficient with our order. They gave us an orange for dessert which was refreshing! We got a salmon roll add jalapeño (salmon Avocado, jalapeño) and a Nicole roll (shrimp tempura, Avocado, topped with spicy tuna and punzu sauce.) Husband got the assorted yakitori (shoniku, negima, Kawa, kobe gyu, gyu tan, tontoro, shishito, shitake) husband says eat the meat first while its tender and juicy. Everything was delicious. As sushi goes, Kansha is below par. Nothing special. They have some creative rolls, which we tried, but they were not 5 star. We had 6 rolls and 4 other dishes. My experience was terrible and I am reviewing out of concern for anyone else that might order from here. Overall our party will not be returning and will persuade others to do the same. The waitress was nice and patient with us. In terms of food, we ordered enough that I think we can accurately rate the quality: - Sushi was WARM and GUMMY. I am legitimately worried about whether or not I will get food poisoning. - Pork in the Katsu Don was RAW. They offered to make it right but frankly we didnt even want them serve us any pork after that. - Chefs choice sashimi and sushi was basic salmon, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, etc. - Edamame was middle of the road, nothing wrong, but nothing stood out besides the lack of seasoning. - We asked for a pitcher of Sapporo and received beer a la cart which was much more expensive. It took 3 or 4 attempts to explain this to the waitress. - Hibachi Fried Rice was good but as a simple dish it is also difficult to mess up.

Hello all! I found this gem in Richardson and I cant wait to go back. I got the Alaskan, Philly roll (if you dont have a good Philly roll the rest of your rolls must be trash) and the Crispy roll. My son found a new Sushi restaurant to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There was a great selection to choose from. Many options any sushi lover would love. A good selection of appetizers you would find present at any traditional sushi restaurants. They have a good selection of custom sushi rolls and traditional sushi rolls. They also had a great selection of sashimi. We chose chicken dumplings to start out with they had a great flavor and were hot. We made two selections from their Sashimi menu and they had a clean and fresh taste. The atmosphere was welcoming and the layout provided a great selection of seating for couples to medium to larger groups. The service was quick but not pushy. Our server kept our glasses full and our table cleaned and clear and allowed us to enjoy our conversations.

Miso soup was the best Ive ever tasted and my appetizer, monkey brains, and meal was just as tasty and filling. Ive always driven by but never stopped, wish I stopped by sooner. There are other dishes I have to try and I know I wont be disappointed with any choice.

Still a very high quality traditional Japanese place. The lunch special is very reasonable and they also serve yakatori skewers which is harder to find. If you understand old style, authentic Japanese restaurants, you will appreciate the food here.

I cant believe this place isnt busy all of the time. I ordered Nabeyaki Udon and Philadelphia sushi roll and everything was delicious. You can tell they put a lot of love into creating their flavors. My friend and I had a meal and appetizer and spent less than 50$ total. I will be back again and again to try more from their menu!

Don t be fooled by the outside.. Incredible sushi! Got the seaweed salad, yellow tail Picasso Roll (#51), crispy tuna, eel roll, salmon roll. Came here instead of our usual spot we CANT get a table at and this is BETTER. Thank-you for existing.

They stare at you while you eat & you have no idea who your server is because they stand, stare, and take turns responding. Most uncomfortable dining experience EVER. Totally would have overlooked the strange..if the food was edible. Old dirty oil used for frying - and delivered grease soaked. Never so glad I didnt order the sashimi... I cant imagine how raw is handled in that place.

Wow this place is incredible! Feels like a nice mom and pop and you can tell the chef and host enjoys the customers. I love their friendly and personable hospitality, and their food was fresh, filling, and flavorful. Ordered the tataki appetizers (not pictured), yakitori, Hanna roll, and the salmon bento. I really enjoy how they cook their rice here especially for their sushi. Amazing food! Definitely have to come here again when I am in the Richardson area!

Worst Toro sushi ive ever ordered. Not fresh and felt salted. Not the smooth melt in your mouth you expect when ordering toro sushi. Rest of the food was decent. The skewers were good, while sushi was okay. They also forgot one of the items I ordered. Did not get the yellowtail sushi.

When I first visited this place, I visited this place accidentally because the famous sushi restaurant I originally wanted to visit was closed due to the holiday.
