What was once a small town restaurant with a friendly staff, has devolved into another restaurant looking for a quick cash grab. I ve been supporting this restaurant since moving to PN in 2017, eating there almost weekly, sticking with it through out all of the subtle price increases. I m not sure how we got to where we are now, but $39.19 for an order of nachos and a burrito is preposterous. When I called in the order and was told $37 over the phone I was surprised; but when I went to pick it up and pay, and got hit with an additional $2 up charge for using a card, I was beside myself. This isn t a booth in the middle of the mall, or a donut shop clinging to life, this is a well established business that has been serving the community for over a decade. The food isn t bad, but it is not great either, especially not enough to justify $20 per person for a light dinner, no appetizers, sides, drinks or anything extra. Unfortunately it is reviews like this that will hopefully catch their attention and prompt a change, I m not trying to deter others from eating at this restaurant, but to instead offer a chance for reflection for both the supplier and consumer. Rosa s has essentially priced themselves out of the casual dinner market, and are now encroaching Pappacitos prices for basic small town Tex-mex.

Instead of a Mexican restaurant it better says Tex-Mex restaurant. Food is not worth the price, for the same amount I can take my family to a better place, but I give them a chance and for sure I WILL NEVER COME BACK. That was a hello and good bye. Food : 1/5

How this place has a four star average, is beyond me. The staff was great and even the bust boy checked in on us. The food,....the food, dishonor, dishonor on them, dishonor on their abuela, dishonor on their rooster. Food had the flavor of old air. The beef had no seasoning, refried beans were for sure out of a can, the chicken had so much salt that it dried out my mouth. The salsa, Lord help their salsa, tasted like tomato sauce and garlic, no spice, no heat. My wife, who is Hispanic, just stopped eating. The guacamole was for sure out of a premade tub. No love in this food.

Service is painfully slow compared to other restaurants. often times the order is wrong. Servers forget to bring things you ask for if you ask for more than one thing at a time. I do love the food though. But most definitely there Is room for improvement. I would recommend but with warning.

Food was quite bland, the wait to order and be served was ridiculous, but the nail in the coffin was being served burnt rice (a staple in most Mexican dishes) and being told that they couldn t replace it because it s all the same rice .

Spent $50 on 3 dry tacos, a cup of beans, plate of soggy nachos, and a small watered down margarita. If I m paying premium prices for mediocre food I would at least expect the service to be great. We had the rudest most inattentive waitress ever I usually don t complain but after ignoring us the whole time she ended the meal by throwing my receipt and card down to me all crumpled up. Will not ever go back!

Really great menu! Everybody in my party enjoyed the food, the margaritas were nice and strong, and the staff were very nice. I recommend the beef street tacos which had well seasoned steak. They keep the homemade salsa coming which was awesome, could eat an embarrassing amount of that liquid gold. Definitely a good spot to unwind after work or visit after church services!

Ordered fajitas mix for 2, large queso, and flautas. Nobody could eat the chicken because it tasted like it was microwaved 4 times and tasted old. There was no guacamole or pico as a condiment as normal, the queso was in a really small cup, rice was hard, and paid $75 Togo.

The food was better than I was expecting. Theres still room for much improvement. For this area, its pretty good. I liked the Tejano music that was being played. The paint colors are atrocious. Im not a fan of the colors. The chili con queso could use more chili. All in all, I will return.

I was seated pretty quickly, but it took awhile to get my drink, and order taken due to only two wait staff working during lunch. ordered the mixed lunch fajitas, but received only beef. no big deal, but the portion sizes were on the small side, and honestly HEB precooked fajitas had better flavor, and seasoning than these.

Dont go to Las Rosas if you want to be waited on in correct order. Husband was there to make takeout order for several large meals. Motorcycle riders came in some time after he stood waiting n waiter immediately went n waited on them. I called n talked to manager n was given a hogwash story but there was no one in the restaurant at all except my husband n the riders who came in after him.

Skip this place. We drive to Port Neches for a different restaurant but since they had a limited menu due to a power outage, and we were super hungry we stopped here. Salsa is super mild and ok, queso.. Is ok, everything is really subpar. Nothing special and definitely not worth another visit. I wish it was a bit more special. But Im sticking with carmelas in beaumont for Mexican. Its hard to stray from what you know is going to be good when youre paying a bunch to go out to eat.

Food was decent, service- not so much!! After waiting forever to put in our drink and appetizer order, the Queso came out cold and by then we were out of chips. Ordered a jumbo frozen Margarita and it had sat in the back so long that it was thawing and the salt had melted down the sides by the time it got to the table, oh and the water that I ordered, never got it. My nachos were good but like most large nacho plates do, the chips got soggy. But since we never got a refill on chips, like EVER, I didn t have anything to scoop up the excess with and finish them. Paid for a Margarita that I didn t even drink.

Yummy blackberry margaritas:^) I actually ordered tamales but got cheese enchaladas... our waitress was the only one there and it was busy so I ate what I was served. It was good lol but not what I wanted. Our waitress was sweet, I dont think the mistake would have been made if several tables hadnt come in right as we were ordering.
