We had the pleasure of dining at Yuka for the first time, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-eat sushi option. He certainly indulged to his satisfaction. We recommend requesting Zane, our outstanding server, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. For those seeking a refreshing beverage with a hint of spice, we suggest trying the Pineapple Habanero Margarita. The atmosphere, food, and service exceeded our expectations. If you eat from lunch 20$ (->4:30pm = end) past to dinner 40$ I was told by the waitress if I pass it Ill be charged the dinner regardless. food is mid, HEB and Tokyo Sushi is honestly better in taste in my opinion but whats good here is that its a buffet. I ordered fried shrimp and they went super heavy on the salt to make anyone stop eating a lot. I had a Asian Lady that I tipped and she gave me an additude and got angry cuz I gave her 3$ yet I didnt have to tip her at all so . the atmosphere was super nice . Its free for your birthday and a robot brings a cake to you and dances .

I was just escorted to a table. A waitress never approached my table. A family of 3 took a table 5 feet away from me, the waitress waited on them. I dont tolerate being ignored in a restaurant. My money is green just like everyones elses. I exited immediately. I will definitely not plan my nieces birthday party here. Ill find a more astute and friendly place.

I have been several times and this last time I dont know what happened to the hibachi chicken, the chicken was tough, chewy and had an unpleasant taste, the miso soup just the broth, no ingredients inside, the pork didnt taste very good, please dont lose the quality in Their dishes are what differentiate them from others. My husband and I frequent this place multiple times a month and every time it s just as great as the last! Our favorite server is Drue! He s truly the best at his job and makes every visit more enjoyable! Next time you go, ask for Drue as your waiter, you won t be disappointed! The AYCE option is the best bang for your buck, we will never skip out on eating at Yuka! We both went om our birthdays and It was free AYCE on your birthday, honestly just the best experience around! We also really love the waitress Ashlee! Ash and Drue give the best all around experience for Yuka and if either of them ever leave this place It will be a true tragedy. True the best employees you have. Always on their A game and very attentive to all their tables and all needs. Vegetarian options: There are options for vegetarians on the menu! Just read everything to see. Avocado rolls, cucumber rolls, edamame, seaweed salad, tofu soup and more. Dietary restrictions: I m gluten free so I just eat things I know I can have. They also alter rolls for me so I can have more options! They also allow me to bring in my gluten free soy sauce & other gluten free dipping sauces! Kid-friendliness: High chairs & booster seats. I give Yuks a 5 Star Rating, However I will complain about the Hostess that worked 08/21/2024 , she is rude, Disrespectful and just down right horrible, and Should no longer be able to deal with customers, she needs to go back to customer service school or something, it takes a lot to get me upset and even more to get my kids upset but this woman made m raise my voice in the establishment. I commend the Manager for handling the situation, but she should have fired her on the spot. I drove almost 2 hours to get there to celebrate my 4 year old grandsons birthday and it was almost ruined. but thanks to the manager and or amazing server, it was all saved.

If you want a meal as delicious as can be, Allow me to recommend Yuka Sushi. you may think twenty bucks is rich for lunch, but for that sawbuck you can eat a bunch. the food is fresh, delicious and fun, every single bit of it perfectly done. Order with abandon, everything is worth a taste, but beware you may be charged for food you waste. The Sushi rolls were artfully rolled, the beer I had was delightfully cold. My family and I went in to celebrate a birthday for my nephew. The entire experience was appalling. Out of our party of 12, only One of the orders was correct. Numerous times people came by with orders that werent ours, and then switched orders around putting different individuals a la carte orders on the same plate, forcing us to pass all plates around so we could get our own items. Other examples included giving chicken instead of beef, brought the wrong rolls, gave a la carte items instead of the all you can eat (charging the a la carte price for it), and the list goes on. I opted for the all you can eat segment, and ordered a single roll and edamame to start. I recieved the roll, but never recieved the edamame nor water I requested. 35+ minutes later, I still had not been able to order anything else, nor recieved my original items. By this point, every order was beyond wrong that it wasnt worth the time to get other items. Even after our server apologized, no appeasement was given. The manager (or shift lead) stood 3 feet behind us while our server went through the list. Not once did the manager come to our table to apologize or offer assistance of any kind. Our server seemed to be on her own with no help from a leader. To say that is poor business management is an understatement.

Ive heard nothing but great things about this place, and decided to try it out myself. I had a very positive experience!! You get 2 options, all you can eat or a la carte. I went with the all you can eat and definitely ate my share of sushi. You can choose anything on the menu if you go with AYCE. Im not big on appetizers or hibachi, so I stuck to the sushi, and it was DELICIOUS! The service was good. I ordered a Marg and it was just subpar.... not much alcohol in it. Everything was made fresh as you ordered. For $29, it was a hell of a deal. Would good back for sure!! SIDE NOTE: you can eat all you can eat for FREE on your birthday as long as you have your photo ID with you!!!!!

Our family was looking forward to enjoying sushi in the area and upon searching google reviews, Sushi Yuka seemed to be an option. Unfortunately, it was quite honestly the worst sushi location I have ever been to. First, we were seated at a table where we could smell the dirty dish cart next to us and there was a lingering wet stench that alone made we want to leave the restaurant. Regardless, we decided to stay since we had already ordered drinks. As I am ordering, I ask for 3 pieces of salmon sashimi. The server responds if I want the one with rice? I am confused by his question since I ordered sashimi and not nigiri. Then, my sister orders a hibachi combo with tofu. The server proceeds to ask her if she knows what tofu is? Which was unnecessary to ask. Then, when we receive the salmon, as soon as I put it in my mouth, I could taste the fishiness. It was not fresh fish whatsoever. Not to mention that the tuna looked and tasted like a piece of rubber. We also ordered a spicy tuna, jalapeño order which was literal tuna mush covered in sauce. I was shocked because I never have a reaction to an unpleasant meal as much as I had for this place. My parents ordered hibachi items from the menu that came with fried rice but we received no silverware for their plates until asking. We also had to ask for soy sauce, and wasabi (they forgot ginger) which in every sushi restaurant I have EVER been to, this was already at the table, or brought immediately. We were never once refilled on our drinks either. We left with upset stomachs and a disappointed dining experience.

Weve heard that this place was really good but it was our first time there tonight. I was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed everything we ordered. There were 3 of us in our party so naturally we ordered a number of different items from the menu so I cant remember the names of every item. Though a few stand out things were the Garlic White Tuna, Seared Pepper Tuna Salad, Tuna Sashimi, Golden Kilaua Roll & Volcano Roll. The Hibachi items are also perfectly seasoned. Not what we were expecting (in the least). My wife and I went to Yuka Sushi for evening dinner on Sat Jun 23, 2024. As we were being seated, the waitress told us to scan a Q-code at the table to order and she left right out. At once, I knew this is not the restaurant I was looking for but we were already here... Ive been to Yuka numerous times without a complaint. Today I came in for lunch all you eat lunch. In the 50 minutes we were seated we received 2 rolls. None of our appetizers came the entire time we were seated, one of the two rolls I received was a fried roll that was severely undercooked. I brought up the fact that we hadnt received any of the appetizers and explained my unsatisfying experience that was had. Regardless of the circumstances I explained that it didnt feel right to pay the for the all you can eat when nothing was being brought out. The server went to talk to the manager, then the manager proceeded to bring up the appetizers that werent received for the entire time we were seated instead of addressing the problems. She then stated that we were only sitting for 35 minutes and there was nothing she was going to do. The manager is extremely unprofessional and lacks in the ability to provide customer service. This isnt the same place it was when it was opened. Super disappointing

This place was a lot of fun! It was my first time eating actual sushi, and I tried 8 different kinds. The only one I couldnt have stomach was the red tail but the rest was really good!! I loved the cat robot that sings Happy Birthday. It was super cute! The cheesecake was really good too!! Overall, it was a great experience! The atmosphere is family friendly, and the waitress we had was really nice and checked on us a lot! Yuka is a great restaurant. 30 dollars all you can eat everything on the menu is worth a try. The food comes out very fast and is always fresh and well presented. There isn t too much I can say about this restaurant except make sure you come hungry. Also another good perk is you eat free on your birthday just bring your photo ID

Their California crunch rolls are the best Ive ever tasted. The steak and shrimp hibachi was very bland so you have to ask for the teriyaki sauce. Somewhat pricey but did get a lot of food. It was a little loud for me at lunchtime. The service was wonderful! Overall will eat there again for sure.

Ive heard nothing but good things about this place and the reviews are great. I wish I could agree. We were seated at a table pretty quickly and our waiter was nice enough. We ordered and my wife got her food pretty fast. I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get my hibachi meal. I saw others who were seated after us get their hibachi meal first. The meat was scarce and I had to dig for it. The fried rice was very good and the most enjoyable part of the meal by far. My wife enjoyed her sushi but overall this place was a huge disappointment.

Came here on valentines day a decision I quickly regretted. The wait was ridiculous. We waited an hour and forty five minutes to be seated. They had lots of empty clean tables the entire time we were waiting. I mean at least 15 tables were empty. This is not acceptable to treat customers this way. Perhaps you needed more servers but their were plenty of people walking around doing nothing. The food was alright once we were finally seated. We came around 7 and didnt leave until around 9:40 pm.

All you can eat FRESH made Sushi... count me in!!! Our server eagerly explained the way the Yuka AYCE worked I just as eager ordered the crab rangoon definitely my go to appetizer and boy I was pleased they were delicious and full of flavorful finally minced celery and artificial crab not just cream cheese. We ordered the volcano roll and the Beef hibachi, special requests were welcomed and fulfilled. Both perfect dishes The New Orleans roll and the Salt and pepper shrimp alongside a serving of the lo main was brought cheerfully to our table by team members keeping a great service system of our table. The flavors and presentation of all dishes are served so beautifully. I was very impressed and regret not taking pictures. The sounds of modern hits mixed with popular 80s and 00s play over the speaker not too loud but a great background to the incredible spread we customized for our lunch smorgasbord. All present in a open dining room of large family tables and gorgeous wooden boothes in short rows. It was a great meal and Im definitely looking forward to another visit to try more Rolls.

So on my birthday I visited this place on a suggestion. It exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh and good. We tried different things and fell in love with the place. I would definitely recommend it especially on your birthday. Show your ID and let your waitress know. The wait staff is also awesome we ordered and two minutes later servers were bringing out food. Weve been here a few times, and it has usually been a great experience. Tonight, however, that was not the case. My kids ordered the Osaka chicken, and lets just say there were some issues. First, we had 3 orders of Osaka chicken. Two orders came out, one of which looked like they were at the bottom of the bag with very little chicken and mostly crunchy burnt batter. Second, the Osaka chicken was swimming in sauce. It looked like burnt microwave chicken drowning in sauce. The last order didnt make it to the table until 45 minutes after it was ordered. When I asked if they expected me to pay for the Osaka chicken after it was 45 minutes late and everyone else had already finished eating, the manager said she would have to take the food back which is fine because we no longer wanted it and we sure werent going to pay for it. Lesson learned. Bye, Yuka! Your service was awful, and then you made excuses. Not acceptable!

In my previous review, I was impressed with Sushi Yuka. After my latest visit, not so much. The worst part was the service. They were not busy and it still took a long time to get our food and drink items. I think the server/bartender forget my drink and a couple of the food items because they didnt come out until we reminded him. Had to remind him twice on one of the items. My wifes drink wasnt refilled a single time until a few minutes before we were completely finished with our meal. Had to go up to the bar to ask for her refill. We like the all you can eat option to sample multiple items, but the rolls we received were huge! They needed to be about 1/3 the size that was served for an all you can eat. The rice mounds the sushi is on seem to be larger and denser than previously. All in all, the quality of the service and food has gone down. The server said it was under new ownership which may play a role.

We have come to this establishment many times and have not been let down once! We have enjoyed it every time! Our service is always on point, our food is presented nicely and the food always taste wonderful. The kids enjoy the Japanese sodas. When our kids tried getting one of the surprise toys with their token they had difficulty with the machine and the manager was very attentive and made sure we were able to get it taken care of. This is definitely one of our go to places and highly recommend.

Weve been here several times. We have never had anything that is bad. Everything is very fresh and well made. They have plenty of options for those that dont eat sushi as well. Its well worth the price. Kid-friendliness: My toddler is picky, and he loves this place! My two teens love it too. My 13 year old hates sushi, but she loves the other options. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything, including the front door, is level. Plenty of accessible tables. The table are perfect height. The restrooms are accessible as well.
