It s unbelievable.. I got a $40 plate with mash potatoes. I brought in a friend that s never been to saltgrass and prompted him to get everything he ordered. We got our drinks from our bartender, who was really good, and the drinks were the only highlight of the visit. Then we got our plates and the mash potatoes were SOUR AND ROTTEN. We were given different sides of our choice as the bartender was very apologetic and observant of our anger. I mean it s 2024 and you serve someone rotten food? Just unbelievable. NOT ONLY DO WE GET SERVED FOOD THAT HAD GONE SPOILED, but the manager NEVER CAME TO SPEAK TO US, not once. I ll never step foot in a saltgrass again.. The bartender had to go beg for a discount when we asked for our tickets and the manager gave us 10% off our $120 ticket . Yah alright buddy, that s terrible.

Ive been to this Saltgrass several times. Its always worth it. Its a very nice restaurant with an easy ambience, good food and good service. This trip to Saltgrass was even better than my previous visits because of our server, Brian. Brian is quite personable without being effusive. He knows what hes doing and does it very well. When you go to this Saltgrass ask to be seated in Brians section, you wont regret it.

Had a great ribeye dinner here tonight. The warm, fresh-from-the oven bread was delicious. Steak was fantastic and the brussel sprouts were the perfect pairing. Best part was the service! Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful! I suggest requesting him when you visit. Highly recommend.

Had a terrible experience here. Waited 1 hour for my food. No one came to check up on me and my party while we waited. The server kept making mistakes with our drinks and order. And then had the nerve to make a salty comment about the tip that was left. The burger and crab cakes were good. The steak, not so much. I asked for well done, and it definitely was not. Just a terrible experience.

We had a lovely experience tonight at the Central Expwy location with our attentive server Britany. She was not only extremely knowledgeable about the menu, but she connected with us personally. I wanted to hug her by the time we finished our meal! When we had a small snafu with a baked potato, Britany took care of it. Nothing was impossible. Everything else in our order was prepared perfectly. Britany made our time at Saltgrass feel like we were having dinner at a friends home.

Thank you for your help many times. I always eat RIBEYE, but all my friends who came with me ordered NEWYORK STRIP, so I decided to try NEWYORK STRIP. The fat was just right and the taste was very satisfying. My friends RIBEYE seemed to have a different shape with thinner meat and a larger area than when I came before. We ordered an additional chocolate cake and cheesecake and ate it for 7 people. It felt a little sweet to me, but in America its normal sweetness and delicious.

I made reservations for a party of 7. Walking into the restaurant, the host was unprofessional and had nothing ready. The atmosphere was slow and seated near the kitchen it looked dirty. It was a slow day. The kitchen should have been spotless since there were more servers than customers in the building. The food was okay, but not worth the price. Next time I take a family out for their birthday, Ill spend my money elsewhere.

Exceeded all my expectations. I was a little worried based on some of the negative reviews. Don t let that.deter you from going. From the minute I walked in to the time I left my expectations were met. My ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was nice, clean and a good vibe. I don t think they have a manager at this location. We were first sat in the dining room and after 5-10 minutes of being ignored we decided to go to the bar. I ordered the steak and cake which is a filet and crab cake. Crab cake was cold so just asked if they could redo that part. Well not realizing that my sides were actually ice cold I told them never mind just to cancel the whole thing. If literally everything was cold I wasn t going to risk having them redo it just to have the same thing happen. I honestly thought a manager would come by but they didn t, most likely because they don t have a manager at this location, perhaps someone with the title but who clearly doesn t manage anything.

We used to love dining here weekly, but last night was a disaster. I ordered the wedge salad as always and it came out 1/3 of the normal size with a few tomato pieces on top/ period! No blue cheese crumbles, no bacon. It was pathetic! Our New York strip was served overcooked and the potatoes were undercooked and inedible. Very disappointed as they were not busy at all and now I know why.

I eat there very often and always find it a great place to eat. Their lunch specials are the best in town and their regular menu items are excellent. Great selection and prices so everyone enjoys that. The waitstaff is usually very good. They do have one male waiter who is over the edge weird but I just avoid having him wait on us. In the past the manager would always bring my membership card out to the table and welcome us but I guess they quit doing that because they havent come out the past 4 times we have eaten there. It will still be my favorite restaurant in Plano...

Our server, Marv, was great and very responsive. The fried pickles and poppers were a good value. Do not order the beef dip,... big roll with lots of onions and little meat. Double bone pork chop was fatty and undercooked. Sent cold fries back for two meals. One came back hot the other, once again Luke warm. The economy is such that people are not eating out as much because food prices are too high. The manager adjusted the bill but I will not return here.

This is a relatively new Salt Grass location near Parker/75 and we ve eaten there several times. This past weekend we had a get together and our server Christopher made the experience go from great to exceptionally great. From start to finish (and we were there two hours) he kept all 13 of us with our drinks filled, food flowing and kept everything clean and organized. The kitchen was fast and the food quality was excellent. You gotta check out this location when you re in the area - great job to everyone at Salt Grass!

Saltgrass Steak House has become our go-to steakhouse to satisfy our carnivorous cravings on a whim, without breaking the bank. We always order the ribeye, cooked medium rare and I occasionally order the Urban Cowboy - NY strip with 4 plump shrimps smothered in lemon butter, also cooked medium rare! Our 7 yo son is a picky eater but gobbles down their grilled salmon, which is always grilled to perfection! The drinks are great, if you are unsure, give their Southside 45 a try - delicious and refreshing. The service, hands down, is consistent across the board and is exceptional. Shout out to Chris, Maiya and Marshall! No matter how busy the dining room becomes, their service never fell short! So far, we have been dining here once a month, sometimes, once a week. And as a LSC member, it makes every visit worthwhile! PS - the carrot cake is gigantic, but our son was able to finish 3/4 of it on his own! Its that good!

We called and asked if they could accommodate our family of 12 with 20 minutes notice and they made it happen. Our waiter Chris rolled with our chaos; separate checks, kids menus, seat switches and late arrivals and he even helped us by taking a huge family photo for us! I m really surprised! Or service was very subpar the moment we entered the restaurant. The host did not greet us in a friendly manner, and when we asked for a booth he seemed to be annoyed by it. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer, which came out in a timely manner. I ordered a New York Strip with 2 Range Rattlers and my wife ordered a house salad. All the food came out at once, with NO Range Rattlers. The waiter informed us that they were out of Range Rattlers! My thoughts were how do you run out of your signature appetizer! Hosted a graduation luncheon there. Candace, Manager, Americo, GM and Brittany our server were all FANTASTIC! Candace arranged for me to set up the night before. She kept my cake overnight in their fridge. She and Americo helped me troubleshoot running our video montage on their flatscreen TV. Brittany helped serve the cake and was so attentive providing top notch service to our guests. The good food was even better due to all the staff did to make our special event a fabulous occasion. Everyone did a great job facilitating our event. I had not considered hosting a group event at Saltgrass before and didn t know what to expect. Everything turned out wonderfully! I definitely highly recommend Saltgrass for group celebrations, especially the Saltgrass-Plano East. I couldn t be more pleased by how everything turned out. Thanks so much. Exceptional service all the way around! We had a celebration for our sons college graduation and I cant say enough to express my appreciation, gratitude, and complete satisfaction with the service and environment!! Everyone from the management, staff, and serve were absolutely the best. Everyone of our family and friends expressed the top notch service and food quality as they left the celebration. Chris was our waiter and he did an excellent job, he checked on me and the rest of my colleagues very frequently and refilled our drinks before it ever got to the bottom of the glass. And got all of our orders right with no errors. If you get chris as your waiter youll be well taken care of.

First time here, and already pissed me off. The food was subpar, steak salad was just a bunch of hard ass veggies and cold steak. Only thing good here are the margaritas, will not be back. Oh and customer service was terrible, the chick behind the bar never asked if I wanted refills, just kept asking if everything was good every 5 seconds. Then I noticed one of the servers went behind the bar and ate a cherry right in front of me, like seriously? This place is a clown circus and whoever the manager is running it needs to be fired immediately. I saw a million OSHA violations it was so disgusting, I lost my damn appetite. Then the bartender asked if I had a Landrys card, and asked if I came here often, and I m like naw this shit is gross
