I visited the biscuit bar with a group of friends. We were in a wedding the night before and we all went to brunch the next day. The atmosphere of the biscuit bar is nice. I love how the seating is outside and sits in a little lake/pond (they do have inside seating as well). The ordering was easy and the food came out hot and fresh. *Visited on 06/02/2024*

Long lines, minimal seating and going to the bar for service during brunch hours was the reason for 3 stars. It was nice to enjoy something new, but I wouldn t go back again. The food was tasty but not worth a 2nd trip.

I had the chicken biscuit which was very good , the biscuit had very good texture and the chicken was juicy and crispy. My wife had the steak and eggs which was also very good first time having ribeye on a biscuit which was different but the different textures of the food went very well.

Gotta love them in house made biscuits. They have a lot variety to eat with your biscuits. Nashville hot chicken. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I just it was actually hot. It disappointed me palate. The taco tots. Dont bother. I dont feel like the tacos and tots was a happy combination of food cultures.

Had the steak egg and cheese biscuit. No flavor whatsoever and it was sliced beef. My daughter had the sausage egg and cheese. It tasted better. Service wasn t good either. She was busy at the moment and never acknowledged our presence and said I ll be with you shortly. I had questions because it was our first time but she wasn t friendly and just took our order. The guy that brought out food to us was nice though. We sat outside but had to clean our own table to do so.

I attended Christmas in July this weekend, I was very excited, its something new for me, I decided to eat at their location The Boardwalk in Plano. The service of the man at the cash register was disappointing, arrogant, it was obvious that he already wanted to leave, when I suggested that I could consume on the terrace he said that I couldnt understand the indication because of the alcohol issue, but he didnt even give me the option of Change the drink to be outside, Ill just rush to make the payment. Also, the most horrible margarita drink of my life, poorly prepared, that place was empty, with that terrible customer service, no one is going to return.

Highly recommend if you love a good breakfast sandwich. The biscuits are light, airy and flavorful. I find the sausage egg and cheese biscuit delightful accompanied by their tater tots. The staff is very kind and I love how this restaurant is located on the boardwalk. The location makes for a peaceful visit if you can catch them when they aren t super busy and you can enjoy the water.

Not worth your time- poor service and bad food . I guess go here if you want to be disappointed? Placed an online order for two breakfast sandwiches, I received two plain biscuits instead. Had to drive all the way back to get the actual items I ordered, but first had to listen to the world s longest answering machine message/ phone tree I understand people make mistakes, but the worst part was I never got any sort of apology from anyone, despite even tipping on a to-go order. I just got two hastily made disgusting sandwiches about an hour after I ordered them and am down $20 bucks. I guess the small lake is nice in front, better off bringing your own Biscuit and sit at the lake yourself

We visited here midday on a Saturday and it was empty compared to all the surrounding restaurants. We loved the food and the place itself was cute, but the staff made it seem like they wanted us anywhere but in their restaurant. The women taking our order visibly rolled her eyes when I started to order. She did not say a single word the whole time I ordered, despite missing some of what I said (items I ordered were not rung up) and when my husband ordered and asked about the serving size of one of the sides, she just pointed to a serving dish behind her. Id almost think she couldnt talk, but we heard her later. She realized she forgot to ID us at the order and came back to our table to ask for ID after we were already drinking. I understand mistakes happen, but after the entire unfriendly welcoming, I wasnt in the mood to deal with this and it was awkward. After you order, you do not have to interact with the staff much, but the initial interaction was so off-putting we just felt ready to leave the entire time.

The staff was so helpful and nice! They made me feel really welcome and they were very attentive to our table, even though it was a seat-yourself kind of place. Also they were so FAST! I barely finished my order when they had it ready to go for me - and this was a busy Saturday morning. The drinks and food were also soooo good. If youve had Whataburgers honey butter chicken biscuit and you like it as much as I do, youll actually flip for how good the Honey Chicken Biscuit is here. I also had the Tea cocktail, forget what its called, and it was so good! Reminded me of boba drinks, which I love! You have to check this place out!

Staff was nice. Food was not great. I had the chicken and not a waffle biscuit and the chicken was dry and bland and the biscuit was tough and super dry. My wife had the biscuit with bacon egg and cheese sauce. She said the biscuit was fine, but grainy cheese sauce was smothering everything and she didnt eat much of it. Tater tots were good. Will not be back.

I came here with my husband on a whim. Quenten is such a a GEM! They were super patient with us when we couldnt figure out what we wanted. (Confused old people, right?). They really bent over backwards for us - even getting our napkins, forks, and knives. Quenten was so accommodating, and made us feel like we were VIP guests. Im going to have a smile on my face every time I think of them. Youve got an amazing employee - Quenten is one of the best Ive ever seen.

First time trying this chain and it was delicious. Biscuits were light and fluffy and all the ingredients were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We had the B burger and the chicken and not a waffle (chicken with a french toast biscuit) Clearly not health food but so yummy. The biscuits are not huge, which was nice since I felt full but not overly stuffed. This location has a nice outside sitting area along a lake. We waited quite a while even though it wasnt too busy, but since we had a nice view, we didnt mind too much.

I finally write a review of this location since I am used to walk down to boardwalk to eat there. The taste of their food is still right on, but the portion is the problem here. I always order the Hot Hot Chicken and I have been seeing the size of chicken is getting smaller and thinner, sometimes its even smaller than the biscuit. One bite down, you just see the battered flour with no meat (you will see meat when you get to half of it). You can see what the size of chicken used to be from their google photos. My review is not a rush to my head, its been a while seeing the way they treat their customers. Some people dont mind but I am sure you will keep losing customers. My coworkers also told me their quality is not consistent as well. I hope Biscuit Bar to see my post and think about your quality control.

The food at biscuit bar never disappoints! We went here for Sunday brunch and the service wasn t too great. The waitress was rude and got upset when we sent our drink back (they had the order wrong) The entire staff just seemed over it. Granted it was very busy, maybe they need to hire more staff to accommodate the influx of patrons. The tables were all dirty and we had to clean them up before sitting down. It s in the boardwalk so the outdoor seating area was very full since the weather was nice and breezy.

It was incredibly strange that the entire time we were there, we were the only customers (aside from one doordash order.) The other restaurants were all busy. Maybe because its more of a brunch place? The Monte Cristo was good, but could have used more jelly or something to sweeten the bread. The ham was the size of Texas. The cashier rang up a couple of the items twice. I didnt take away any stars for it because 1. They brought out everything we paid for and 2. I didnt say anything once we figured out what happened. Its a great spot for bird watching. So many pretty birds gathered nearby, hoping we would drop something.

This is everything you want in a biscuit sandwhich. Not to mention the staff was awesome. The seating was very comfy and Parents they have changing tables in the bathroom! What an amazing experience! The person at the counter, taking our order was a big help. Even given an excellent recommendation on the salad grilled chicken and cranberries never tasted so good together the atmosphere was great! I will start by saying that the food is the reason my family continues to eat from this location. The customer service alone will be the reason this place crashes and burns! I placed an online order with them yesterday directly from their website. I normally place orders through UberEats but they were not available yesterday through the Uber Eats platform. In the past I have received orders with missing items or a completely different order altogether. Thankfully Uber Eats always refunds me or credits my account to reorder from them again. This was not the case after ordering directly from The Biscuit Bar site. My order was delivered 20min late and was missing 2 meal items. I contacted the location by phone and I spoke with a manager by the name of Clinton and she assured me that she was looking at my ordered items and that it was a mistake on their part. She then told me I had the option to have my money refunded for those 2 items or I could come and pick them up great. The first issue was that I had no transportation to get there which is why I placed an order for it to be delivered. I agreed that it was fine to have the money refunded, however, she then stated that in order for it to be refunded she would need to let her area manager know so they could approve the refund. Our conversation ended with her hanging up the phone while I was in the middle of confirming her name. I waited about 15min and called back hoping to get a different person on the phone, which I did, but they put Clinton back on the line. I was informed that since The Biscuit Bar pushed the order through for Uber to deliver my food, I would not be getting a refund or my food at that point and that I needed to discuss my concerns with Uber Eats. I don t have anything on my Uber Eats history showing that anything was ordered with them on yesterday when all of this took place so how is the issue with them and how are they supposed to fix an issue that has nothing to do with them. How is this fair? I am still waiting for a call back from Clinton who said she would call me back in the next 15min with a solution. Again, this took place yesterday morning (3/14/24). I need a resolution of some kind Biscuit Bar.

The atmosphere was the most best experience. The establishment is by the water which is pretty elegant. The employee who took our order was not welcoming I told them good morning and they said nothing in return (Caucasian male with ear rings and black bearded). Me and my wife ordered the steak and egg, chicken not a waffle and loaded tots. The description on the steak says ribeye (thought at worst would be a McDonalds type of patty) but in actuality it s more like steak um the quality of the meat is unsatisfactory for its price. The tots were loaded with toppings but none of the food has any salt or pepper or any other seasonings. I would never support this establishment again

I worked here for about a month until family stuff came up making it so I had to move. The working environment was so nice. The kitchen is incredibly clean and functional, the standards there are set so high there isn t even a microwave because all the food is fresh. My coworkers were incredibly encouraging and the management was amazing hands down. I never felt put down when making mistakes, I always got constructive criticism and compliments when I was doing well. I will certainly miss working here, as it was one of the best places I ve ever worked. The food is phenomenal and the environment is so friendly. 10/10 would recommend

This cozy restaurant has a nice looking patio (it was raining out so we couldnt enjoy it) and the best biscuits and biscuit sandwiches Ive ever had. I would go back for the biscuits alone. Visited Frisco for the summer of 2023 from Canada, so my grandson & his girlfriend treated me for breakfast at The Biscuit Bar here in Frisco one Saturday morning. I had the strawberry French Toast and it was delectably delicious! The strawberries were so fresh tasting and the syrup was out of this world! Not too impressed by this place. My coworker and I decided to drop in because we were excited to try it out and lets just say we left pretty disappointed. More so in the service than anything. Food was OK, nothing I would seriously debate on coming back to eat. Im usually easy to please but this was a no go for me after getting poor service and a pretty expensive but forgettable experience. Mimosas are laughably small and there was nothing notable about their season specialty except that its terribly over priced for what it is. My coworker wanted to like it but he also felt the apathetic service really made it less enjoyable. Skip this for something that offers more quality for your buck.

Order was delivered. I cant think of a single reason why I should be paying a full-breakfast price ($13) for a single biscuit thats so small. For what I paid I would expect two biscuits. The packaging was abysmal, they literally just throw your biscuit in some foil and send it off. Juices leaked all over the inside of the bag. My girlfriends biscuit came without hardly any sauce, and so was just basically dry bread with a dry chicken breast. The tater tots arrived cold as well. Flavor on mine was good but again, a terrible value. Girlfriends was nothing you couldnt get from Chick-fil-A. The tots were ok in terms of flavor. Would not recommend. Theres dozens of other small breakfast shops out there that are amazing, eat there.

Overall 9/10! I think the portions are a tad small and the drinks could use some garnish. But no frills, food was fantastic, drinks tasty and chill hang out environment.

We have always had an amazing experience at this location. The food is phenomenal! My personal favorites are the classic sausage egg and cheese, French toast chicken sandwich, and fully loaded tots. The service was prompt and friendly. The inside and outside spaces were clean despite how busy it was. Bring cash if you wish to tip - with credit card you aren t able to.

Went to location in Plano for the 1st time to celebrate my wifes birthday, expecting it to be a full.sit down service experience. Upon arriving there was a long line that I thought was to get checked in by a hostess but soon realized it was the line to order your food. I take partial blame for assuming it was a sit down full service restaurant but there was only one person taking orders and after standing in line for 20 min I finally get up to order and was told it would be a 40 min wait for food. That would have been nice to know BEFORE I got up to order but since we had already waited for 20 min there really wasnt much of a.choice so we ordered. An hour and 10 min later we finally got our food, the food was good but not worth waiting that long for a biscuit sandwich that literally took 5 min to eat and we were done. I realize they might have been short staffed but having to wait that long for a biscuit sandwich that was good but the wait was ridiculous. Also, Before arriving I signed up for the rewards program but noticed my order wasnt reflected and I had no points and realized they never asked about that nor did the receipt have a numerical code or QR code to get my points added.(Bill was $76). I went and asked about what I needed to do and was informed I had to download an app which was not mentioned on the website, and once I did the nice gentleman who was helping me informed me there was no way to get my points. Overall a rather disappointing visit and am not sure Ill return

I recently visited Biscuit Bar, a really good chicken and burger restaurant with lawn games and waterview chairs. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The burgers were juicy and flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The food was served pretty quick Id say. The atmosphere was great, with a large outdoor seating area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Biscuit Bar to anyone looking for a great meal and a fun atmosphere. I give it a 5 star review.

This place is tasty! The Hot Chocolate Biscuit was unique and so good! My only complaint is how there appears to be only one way in and out. Theyre really popular, so theres always a line going right through the entrance. Sometimes, it bottlenecks with the people going in, the people going out, and the employees going in and out with orders.

My husband and I used to go here nearly every weekend. We knew the staff and they knew our order by heart. However since the change in management, we won t be back. The manager is not cut out for the workload and the wait times have become ridiculous. Last time we went we waited forever before finally having to ask for service. Then we waited over 35 min for our two biscuits before finally walking out to eat next door. We saw several other people next door that were previously at the Biscuit Bar. On top of it all, I sent a message through their website to give the corporate office a heads up ..zero response. Disappointing given how much money we have spent at their business over the years.

Since the recent change in management the level of service and food have gone straight into the trash. The new bartender looks lost and overworked, older gentleman with terrible time management skills. We waited for 45 minutes for 2 biscuits and ended leaving to go next door where we saw several people that had done the same thing. Shame, we use to come here every weekend since they opened. Never again.

This place always hits no matter what time - breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The biscuits sandwiches are awesome and they have several different ones you can choose from. The fancy chicken is my go to, but even the grilled chicken tasted great as well. Some of the best sweet potato tots you can find in town. Portions are good size so you leave feeling satisfied.

Amazing place on board walk! We went in for brunch and I have to say they make killer biscuits, it was my first time finding out about their secret menu , they have good items on that menu. Service is a bit slow as there was only one on a register on a very hot Sunday which was a bit slow, but the lady on the register was super nice and friendly. I get it that when it s busy staff s focus is to get orders and food to customers as quickly as possible. However, it shouldn t be difficult or a hassle to extend kindness and courtesy to those who are waiting for mobile orders. I had staff just looking at me and said nothing. Looking at me as if I m an inconvenience or a waste of time. It s not and shouldn t be a waste of time at all to be kind and check in with customers who need something. I love breakfast! I was in the area and I swung by to give them a try. It s a cute little spot, they have outdoor seating and some seating inside as well. This place used to be great... high quality food, great drinks, and the place was packed. I visited after a few years and it seems like no one is trying. I am NEVER disappointed when coming to biscuit bar, but especially this location. The workers are always so sweet & take time with you when asking questions & give recommendations!
