I came here with my family and it was my first time. We had the fried calamari, eggplant parm, seasonal salad with salmon, Marguerita pasta with basil spread and some green pasta. Food was awesome and best service ever!! I am very picky about Italian food and this was top notch. I d definitely come back for the pizza and the salad we ordered.

I ate at the Austin location which led me to the Legacy West location. Austin was a 5/5 in every category. Not so much LW which was very disappointing because I ve done nothing but rave and gush about this place. On Saturday night, my son, his new gf, my grandson, and I were given soggy white truffle bread (what I was most excited about) and the size was much smaller than my previous experience. We were basically ignored; our water never refilled, never asked about dessert, never asked about another drink, and when asking about items on the menu, the waitress was curt and acted as if we were a bother. Actually, she acted that way the moment we sat down. I never heard her name. She was frankly, a very lousy waitress, but we still gave her a full tip just to survive in Dallas. She definitely needs to find a new occupation as she does not enjoy working at that restaurant. My pizza was good and the other members in my party said their food was as well, but I did not have the opportunity nor the desire to order more bread. We will go to the Galleria location next time as I advise others.

White Truffle Garlic Bread A decadent starter with earthy, nutty white truffle oil and bold garlic flavors. The crispy yet soft bread absorbs the rich oils perfectly, creating a balanced, indulgent bite. Chicken Pesto Tender, juicy chicken coated in a vibrant, creamy pesto sauce with fresh basil and pine nuts. The garlicky kick and slight char on the chicken enhance the herbaceous flavors beautifully. Tortelloni Al Pomodoro Delicate, al dente tortelloni filled with creamy ricotta, balanced by a fresh and slightly sweet pomodoro sauce. The bright, tangy tomato flavor complements the rich, cheesy filling perfectly. Butter Cake Unfortunately, the butter cake falls short. It has a bland, underwhelming taste and lacks the rich, buttery flavor you d expect. The texture is off, making it a disappointing end to an otherwise solid meal.

I went to eat with my wife and the bill was 54 dollars, I left 10 as a tip and the waiter told me: 10 dollars is too little in this place! It is the most embarrassing moment I have ever experienced in my life, very bad service, I gave 20% tip and the waiter told me that it is a shame that such a good place has such mediocre staff, just as they have the courage to demand more tips, they should have the courage to demand a better salary from their boss!

Italian food thats shareable and delicious. Price point is higher than Id like but doable if you come with a group and share. Service was good. The servers were nice and helpful. Got: calamari, breakfast Rosa Pizza and the braised beef pasta. Everything was delicious. The pizza was perfectly made and the crust was soft and crispy at the same time There was plenty of topping on the pizza. We left full and didnt have room for dessert. We made a last minute reservation online and were able to get in within 1 hr of making the reservation. Theyre definitely pretty packed on weekends and with the location being at legacy hall area, its a great place to eat then walk off your food coma.

First time trying North Italia and had a great time. Rachel was great, well educated on the menu and helped us navigate to the most popular items. White truffle garlic bread is great. Calamari was awesome - we never had calamari with this type of breading before, it s amazing . Scallops were very light and fresh, and the rigatoni vodka was perfect. Bombolinis were a great way to finish. One of the managers also came around and apologized that our dinner entrees were taking long - we had no idea it was even behind schedule. Sounded like they have high standards for themselves. Great place overall - Will definitely be back

Waited for one hour to get a table outside. The server brought my food and even after I told him it was my shrimp scampi he put it across from me. There was no napkins or silverware . The shrimp was like rubber (overcooked) and the bread was totally dry. I had to ask for a bigger plate for my food because they brought me a small sized quarter plate for my meal. Spent $ 170 but felt like I got $ 20 worth. Had very high expectations from this place but everything that could go wrong did in actuality go wrong.

I came to North Italia on a double date with my best friend and her husband! Atmosphere is vibrant, chill, and luxurious. Food was GREAT (I had the Spaghetti Meatball Ragu & hubby had the Black Ink Squid). Only issue was the beers were not cold and my margarita was forgotten, so I had to re-request tor the drink to come out. Then, my bestie s food did not come out correctly (they forgot the chicken), and had to re-make from scratch which took some time. Would recommend but improvement in attention to detail (service) would make this place a Stellar!

We visited this location to celebrate my son s birthday a few weeks ago. My daughter and I ordered a margherita pizza to share. After waiting for quite a while for our food, a cheese pizza was placed in front of us. Once we were able to get the waitress s attention to let her know, the pizza was taken back to the kitchen. After a few minutes, the margherita pizza was brought back to us. It was the same exact cheese pizza. A couple of basil leaves had been cut and thrown on top. This place is way too overpriced, and was a total disappointment.

Got glutened even though we specifically called out our celiac disease to the waitress (its also called out in any reservation we make through OpenTable, which we did). She did repeat our order as Gluten Free but the pizza was definitely not GF. Not sure where the mistake happened. My daughters got really sick, and one of them has vomited 10 times up until now (6 hours later). I just feel bloated, nothing compared to what theyre feeling. Very frustrating as a parent to feel this helpless. I just called them to talk to the manager to let them know the situation. I talked to Ryan who was very understanding and apologetic. He assured me that he will talk to his staff regarding this situation and he mentioned they take these issues very seriously. He offered to make it up to us, but as a celiac and father of two celiac girls, I passed. I dont feel safe eating there again. Dietary restrictions: Celiac

I have been here several times on different occasions and throughout the past couple years this place has changed alot when it came to their food taste and what they have to offer quality and quantity wise. Their pizzas are so oily and greasy and pastas are limited choices when it comes to Vegetarian options. Not sure due to management or chef change or whatever the reason maybe but definitely not the same experience i had since past couple time in past before. I was there to celebrate my birthday and it was ruined with type of food that was served. Never again will i be coming here again In future. Not to say super loud and hard to even have a conversation with each other regardless if its during the week or/and weekend. It just looks upscale and overly priced but overall not worth what they charge. Their service is super slow as well. Had to repeat multiple times to bring food to table and then felt rushed after like they wanted us to leave Parking: Very difficult to find parking at all times. First Come first serve whether is weekend or weekday no difference. Even the parking garages are full and have to make couple rounds to find it.

I m giving one star because they re no 0 star!!! 1. Ordered calamari - the worst ever texture of the batter, almost burnt color and tasted salty and so much oil retained on the batter after being fried. If you continue to do this you will have your customers dying one at a time! 2. We told the waiter about the calamari and he asked if we wanted something else for starters. So we went with the shrimp scampi. OMG!!! The shrimp were all soaking in 2 inch melted butter AND SALTY!!!!! We had to drained the shrimp and we ate it. This is also another cardiac arrest! 3. I ordered the pork Milanese. Oh dear!! This pork was also like the calamari! BREADED AND FRIED TO BURNT AND OILY AND SALTY!!! When this dish came, I started to cut the pork and I couldn t cut it and had to force tear the meat then I realized the knife I was given was not for pork meat!!! I ate a little and couldn t eat the rest. When the waiter came I told him I couldn t finish the pork because I was not given the right knife and he said literally THATS TOO BAD and he smiled in a Very sarcastic way. 4. My husband ordered the scallops. Gosh it was SALTY. I kept telling my husband don t eat it but he kept eating because he was so hungry, he gave me a few spoons and I ate it and said how could these ppl make horrible dishes like this? Anyways we paid and LEFT THIS PLACE WITH MUCH DISSATISFACTION and I said LETS LEAVE AND NEVER EVER COME BACK HERE TO EAT. Almost like you have someone who has never entered a kitchen to Make these food. God bless you for feeding ppl with such salty and fatty things. Because of restaurants like yours the public develop high blood pressure and heart disease. STOP THIS NONSENSE AND GET HELP!

If you think Olive Garden is great Italian food, then you probably wont enjoy this higher level of Italian dining. Im not Italian, have never been to Italy, and am not a culinary expert. My only credibility, besides my belly, is the few years working at a family owned Italian restaurant decades ago. Fresh pasta and quality ingredients do elevate their dishes above the standards of popular dishes. I dont know if their flavors are authentic to Italy or specific region, as the name suggests, but the flavors seem deeper and more complex than average American Italian food. Our server was awesome and helped us out with her recommendations.

The atmosphere is nice and so is the location. The food is expensive though; it dents the wallet in two ways: 1) the overpriced menu; and, 2) the gratuity based on the overpriced menu. Nevertheless, we purchased a takeout (but still left a 15% tip) yesterday (6/6/2024), and found out that one of the two entrees was not what we had ordered. Aside from that, the food wasnt even good or special. It was just a lot of carb and grease slop that you can find in a roadside diner. Just because they use fancy Italian cuisine names doesnt automatically make the food sophisticated for a discerning palette. The portion size was very generous for lunch entrees, therefore we ate the food over two meals. The bottom line: we are glad we visited this establishment, however, well never go back to North Italia again.

I have been going to North Italia for more than four years, starting when I lived in Miami. When I moved to Dallas, we began visiting the location in Legacy West, and it has always been a good experience. The service and food have consistently been excellent. However, yesterday, we had a very negative experience with our server, Ms. Vega. She was extremely rude, spoke to us disrespectfully, and seemed to want to start a confrontation. I have never encountered such behavior from a server before. The service was unacceptable. Hopefully, North Italia addresses this issue appropriately.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible from the start. To make matters worse, the manager, Miss Vega, asking for my last name as I was leaving the restaurant, which I consider extremely disrespectful. This is not the way to treat people. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.I always tip, however this is the first time in my life that I didn t.

TBH, I did not really have high expectations on this restaurant before. However, this restaurant has become one of my favorite chain restaurants. Their food was surprisingly beyond my expectations. My friend and I had Calamari, Funghi Pizza, and the Bolognese pasta. Everything came out great and they were all super delicious. We literally killed it. No crumbs left behind. It was that GOOD. Will definitely come back again.

I absolutely loved everything about this llace except, the tables being super close to each other. This made the experience a little challenging specially it was hard to talk to my friends as the other party was super close to us and very loud. Chicken parmesan rocks!

Came here for Mothers Day brunch. Service was wonderful despite it being very busy and everything we ate was delicious. They were a little slow to bring out the banana bread appetizer (which is a must to order!) and unprompted, the manager personally dropped off some grilled bread with olive oil and balsamic as an apology. We had a great meal and the service was the cherry on top of our dining experience. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available

Stylish, Great Food, and DEFECTIVE AC. Located in the center of attractive Legacy West Plano. Plenty of parking (free unless you use valet). Feels safe and plenty to see, dine, and shop. The restaurant is crowded with excited and hungry diners, so expect some waiting. Staff were friendly and courteous. We were initially told to wait up to an hour for a table, but were seated in 20 minutes. I enjoyed the presentation and quality of the food. Chicken Pesto was particularly good. It has been a while since i was surprised at how good a dish was. With a big ! They also had a great selection of wine and cocktail. My children (young adults) also loved their food. I really dont have anything but complement about this restaurant, except it was so warm inside. I think their AC was out or defective. I was sweating so much. I dont think I need to be reminded of what Texas feels like. The place deserves a five-star rating, but I hate dining while complaining about how hot it is inside. They also need to play some great music from Ennio Morricone.

Food was not good, service was scattered, sangria didn t come for a while, bread only offered after delay in Sangria, meals delivered separately, one meal not what was ordered, just accepted it. Waitress very good salesman but scatterbrained, not keeping track of tables and food delivery. NOT worth the price. Much better choices in the area. Truffle bread was highly recommended by waitress but not that great! Will not be back.

Unfortunately we had bad experience at this place, stepped in based on google reviews but was very disappointed. White truffle garlic bread was soaked in oil literally a slight squeeze oil drops were dripping from it . Waiters didn t care to give cutlery even after food was served , didn t care to refill water inspite of asking . I m vegan my pizza had a chicken piece on it may be dropped accidentally but they should have been careful before serving.Their menu is overpriced especially salads . Other than ambiance we literally didn t enjoy anything here, definitely never visiting back again .

Do not recommend for anyone on a vegan diet. There are lots of options elsewhere in legacy, but this place does not have explicitly vegan items. You can customize some things and the service was super friendly and accommodating. But for the price, the food quality was not justifiable. Ambiance is great as well, just not the place to go to if you are vegan. Dietary restrictions: not good if vegan

To be frank, I dont understand why this place is so popular. The main seating area is loud, crowded, and dark - Ive been in university dining halls that were more inviting. The food is...nothing special. I was not impressed by the gummy, watery-sauced pasta or the rubbery, stale-tasting seafood, but I was downright offended at being charged upwards of $22 for food that tasted worse than what I can make at home. The service was pretty good, and the wine wasnt bad. Overall, I would only recommend this place if you dont really care about how your food tastes and enjoy the crowded, bar-like atmosphere.

I think that the hostesses pick and choose the wait times and who they want to sit first. Came here to visit from Miami and I waited over 45 minutes with my son. A couple came AFTER us and sat down before us and they had no reservation. Very unfair practices here with the hostess. The best thing to do is to call ahead and reserve because they play favorites. Otherwise, food is great.

Loved the vibe and food. Place is loud and filled with people having a good time. Initially service was a little slow to start but once our server came by our table he was most attentive and did a fantastic job. We shared a funghi pizza to start followed by salad and Bolognese pasta. All were on point. Had a bottle of Nebbiolo (pour mans Barolo) that was pretty tasty. We enjoyed our wine choice. The list is good with many italian options but not great. Missing a Brunello or Rosso di Montalcino. Personal favs. Still highly recommend. Parking: We did valet. Parking is at a premium in area.

Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Legacy in Plano, North Italia beckons diners with its promise of modern Italian cuisine. However, my recent visit left much to be desired, overshadowed by its hefty price tags and underwhelming offerings. Despite its chic ambiance, complete with sleek décor and ambient lighting, the restaurant proved to be a cacophony of chatter and clinking glasses, making conversation a challenge throughout the meal. Opting for the chicken parmesan, a staple of Italian cuisine, I found the dish to be passable at best. While the chicken was cooked adequately, the flavors lacked depth and excitement, failing to leave a lasting impression. Similarly, the margaritas, although decent, failed to distinguish themselves from those found at countless other establishments. While enjoyable, they didnt possess the wow factor one would expect from a venue of this caliber. My disappointment was further compounded by the bustling crowds that flocked to North Italia for Sunday brunch. The packed dining room only amplified the noise levels, detracting from the overall dining experience. Having previously enjoyed the breakfast pizza during a past visit, I decided to give it another try, only to find it lacking in comparison. While it was satisfactory, it failed to recapture the magic of my previous encounter. In summary, North Italia Legacy, Plano, offers an experience that falls short of its lofty promises. Despite its trendy ambiance and chic surroundings, the exorbitant prices are not justified by the average quality of the food and drinks. Factor in the deafening noise levels and overcrowded dining area, and the overall experience leaves much to be desired. While there may be glimpses of greatness on the menu, inconsistency and lackluster execution ultimately overshadow any potential highlights.

The food was terrible, nothing close to actual Italian cuisine. It seems like the main ingredient in the squid ink pasta was chili pepper. I would have appreciated a heads-up, but none was given. I had to leave the uneatable dinner at the table and go look for food, with a stomach ache.

It looked like someone had already eaten most of it. It didnt even include the bread it was supposed to have. This is a $17 app. I called to complain, and manager took my email and said shed email me a refund/gift card, but that email never came. I have always had a great dine in experience, but this was just lazy and cheap.
