I absolutely love working with this hall and the director Ms. Shama! She is the absolute best. She will bring any vision you have to life and always add her wonderful touch! The team here has become like family to me, and I ve used them for my sons 1st birthday as well as his 2nd birthday. I also recommend them to everyone I know!! I am a lifetime customer! You won t regret booking this hall or doing decorations with Ms. Shama!!! THEY ARE THE BEST!!! You won t be disappointed use this review as the necessary push to BOOK!

Im absolutely amazed at the work that Shama did for my daughters baby shower. I cant say enough good things about The Venueiztic & Colorful Air. I was literally in tears when I walked in. She is so talented, and very accommodating to my needs and wants. She listened. She allowed me to bring my personal decorations and mixed it with her own talented work. If I could give this venue six stars, I would. From my initial inquiry through the execution of my event, Shama (the owner) was amazingly attentive and communicative. Any question I had, she answered almost immediately! For two months! lol! And the cost of everything was so reasonable and affordable. I hosted a 80 person party to celebrate by father s 70th bday. The space was exactly what we needed tables for our guests, the cake and party favors, a separate space that was perfect for the bar and food buffet and a stage that fit our DJ. We even were able to project a video presentation on the wall. What also made this space perfect was that it was able to offer decor packages. The space was decorated so beautifully. It made the day so much easier to just be able to walk in and set up a few things and be ready for our guests. Our guests kept saying how nice the event was. This huge thanks to Shama. There was plenty of parking. I mean literally as someone who plans and executes numerous events for work, I was happy to have such a seamless execution for a personal, important event. Thank you, Shama!

A top notch experience! I needed help with balloon columns for a baby shower. There was frequent communication, quick responses, routine follow-up and live photos of the work before delivery. Aside from the great service, the price was very reasonable. I would absolutely hire again and definitely recommend!!! Thank you soooo much!

If you want to throw your party at a dump, this is the place to go! I came from Ohio to celebrate my granddaughters first birthday. By trade, I am an event planner and I work with many venues before and after a party to coordinate and execute successful events. The owner of this venue was not a helpful person nor did she have any customer service skills. I arrived at the facility 15 mins before our allowed setup time. As I setup a balloon installment on the outside of her facility I noticed she had not inflated the ball pit completely before the event started. 15 mins after the event started she complained to my daughter-in-law that the kids broke her ball pit. 15 mins isnt even enough time to do any damage but she was quick to mention it and want to charge my daughter in law. We tried to address the issue and explain that 15 mins isnt enough time to do some real damage she brushed us off without any eye contact and seemed to be conniving. During our event she walked around it disturbing our enjoyment with mean-spirited looks and just a haunted stomp through our celebration. She also griped to several of our guests about the issues she was having with filthy bathrooms and the management not cleaning them which is not professional. Finally, not that she hadnt done enough, she came 30 minutes before our end time and rudely and quickly said you have 30 minutes to end. And thats because she called the police thirty minutes to have us kicked out at the end. I highly do not recommend this venue. being an event planner I know that we are creating memories at these venues and sometimes at a great cost. Part of that cost should be paying for understanding venue owners who value their customers and understand the benefits of good customer service. If you want filthy bathrooms, an venue owner trying to charge you for faulty equipment and horrible customer service, this dump is the place to go!

Update : The Janelle woman was there at the end of the event and we all seen her I m guessing for her rental time, which we were all out before they even went in the building. At the end of the day you don t know that a cleaning fee was given to the owner to clean herself. This situation has nothing to do with you, so I have no idea why you re trying to involve yourself. Please stay out of it. If you weren t there when it was fully going on. Thank you. To anyone reading through these reviews. Just know we all are People of color (POC), why would we sit here and deteriorate someone s business especially if they are apart of our community? We are all for supporting black owned businesses but when disrespect comes we will not tolerate it. Shama purposely is having all her friends, family and past customers comment to make her reviews go up and so she can continue to get business. I m a firm believer in god, but the way she is playing with his name like she isn t wrong (shows what type of woman she is). Through her reply you can feel the anger and hatred from it. I m all for the hustle and everything else because I m a single mother that lost her baby father when my child was newborn. I m out here working my behind off and i will not sit here and let a woman like Shama do other women like this. Like the other bad reviews were commenting she was very rude and disrespectful they aren t lying because she had encountered them also. My mom and other kinfolks were trying to be cordial with her and find some reasoning to fix the whole issue but no she continued to have anger and pettiness. From the moment i walked in she already trying to get money from me ( I didnt get there until 1:23pm) so technically i didn t set up for a free two hours it was actually 45mins. She quoted on the phone call that she s not going to start charging customers for the kids equipment until January, so i was like ok cool. My mother in law got there early to scope the place and she let me know that ball pool was a little deflated before I even got there. Then my friend was sitting down by the bounce house and felt air coming out before the kids got in. As a customer that has already paid you your money plus a deposit why wouldn t you think someone wouldn t get upset?. Then your constantly walking in and out of the party like it s yours? That s very disrespectful and causing a scene amongst these small children. She came up to me and said are you going to pay to stay another hour, i said no I had gave you a cleaning deposit. She said ok you have 30 mins, so as POC yall should know how gatherings are we talk for another 10-15mins then we start packing up. I go to the back and i hear she called the cops and Im like wow the food was already cleaned up, we were already taking it out the venue. So that means she had called them before 6pm even hit. I paid to be to 6:00pm it s on the contract. At least i have the upmost respect and decency not to do a lawsuit. Shama is disrespectful at its finest. Please please take our word from it, i understand that some of us be on a budget but there s better venue owners that s more respectful, has hospitality, and is kid friendly. Thank you for looking at my review to anyone looking, please save yourself the drama.

Shama was so professional and HELPFUL!!!! I LOVE supporting black owned businesses, and this was the perfect venue to book with! Shama hosted our daughters Purity Ball and Banquet at this venue, and the decor was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and was as promised. Very prompt, very professional, very helpful, and FRIENDLY!!!! Thank You again Shama for being apart of our family history! Update: After reading the negative reviews from this location, I am confused. Nobody EXCEPT the same folks that attended the same party have any complaints? I and my family are new to Texas, we have no affiliations with Shama other than the rental. I found this listing through Giggster. She went above and BEYOND for our family! My daughter had one of the most memorable experiences she has ever had because of the hospitality of this business. Black folks are so quick to tear down another black business rather than admit that they showed up entitled and messy just because the business is black owned! I came to view the place RIGHT AFTER the incident, and you could tell that she was overwhelmed and that the party she was cleaning up after had left the place a MESS. Never in a million years would these people act an unmitigated fool in a white establishment, yet because of familiar skin tones, folks act like they werent raised on good morals and decorum! What a shame! We got nothing but the best from this woman, and we dont know her outside of booking the venue. Our communities need to do better! Period!

I attend a 1 year old baby girl birthday from the time we arrived she was there with her 2 kids in the back and would come and go as she felt was necessary. She said we could use the ball pit (without the balls) if the 30 dollars was paid which wasn t an issue. She then proceed to call her husband which that price wasn t enough from him then came back out to tell the mother of the birthday girl and the grandmother that she s taking it because her husband said it was a $100 dollar ball pit she was also paid a deposit to clean which we was sweeping the whole party to keep it up to par she then came back at 5:30 and said we need to leave that it s almost 6 which the party was paid till 6 she called the cops a few minutes before 6 when we was already packing everything up with kids.. she called the mother a stupid B word and was just foul to do to the mother which paid for her daughter to enjoy her first birthday. Once the cops arrived we already had everything out was just getting the kids and the extra stuff that was brought to the party she called her family or friends to back her up then proceeded to say IT WAS ALL THE KIDS FAULT she knew it was a 1 year old bday the owner caused a huge scene with the police and name calling that none of these kids should have seen 10/10 do not recommend for a birthday party or any gathering at best.

Excellent customer service and great space for any event! I had my baby shower, which was put together pretty quickly! The owner Bashama was very accommodating to my vision, needs and plans! She provided the decorations and finishing touches with no problem. They came out beautiful! I had the most amazing experience for my bridal shower! The venue was stunning and impeccably decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and their attention to detail was second to none. My guests couldnt stop raving about them. They truly made my bridal shower a memorable and magical day. Terrible experience at this venue! The owner was rude and unprofessional. And the bathrooms were dirty. Update: The owners responses to the negative feedback is a perfect example of her lack of professionalism. No damage was done to the property, and no complaints were filed, yet she called the police without any notice or explanation. Even the police commented that they didnt know why they were called out. She does bad business and has no communication skills.

The perfect space for my event! Shama and her team were so incredibly kind and helpful ! Communication was great from booking to after the event. The venue was spacious, clean and versatile for everything we needed. I loved having my birthday there!
