About the Company

rating: 4.1

Most breakfast & brunch restaurants start with the same script: eggs, batter, coffee & a big ol' griddle. We've found scripts are a lot like pancakes, they're best when flipped, so we‚re always looking to turn the best breakfast classics upside-down & on their side. Stop by for delicious pancakes, french toast, benedicts, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, bacon & more! From paleo to vegetarian & vegan or dairy free & gluten free friendly, we'll happily accommodate food allergies & diets. We want each morning to feel like your weekend & happy hour rolled into one, so our restaurants feature a full bar with alcoholic beverages. From mimosas to bloody marys, margaritas & local craft beers, we've got cocktails & brews covered!

I was at Snooze Plano this weekend and had to rave about my waitress, Asani. She provided absolutely amazing customer service and had such great energy. She explained the menu very well, answered all my questions & took excellent care of my friend and I. I was pleasantly surprised by how healthy and delicious everything was. This is my new fav brunch spot for sure. I will most certainly be back and will request Asani specifically!

Coffee tastes like dirt. The water tastes like lakewater. They played loud house music the whole time we were there. They had small portions and a weird menu. If youre looking for a good, hearty breakfast, you could do much better elsewhere.

This place has the ability to be 5 stars across the board. Service was the major hang up. It was busy of course, Saturday brunch time. We decided to sit at the counter to make it easy. The bartender, counter person was very busy making drinks and not in a position to also wait on the counter for service. She didnt even bother to acknowledge us for over 5 min even though she was literally a foot away and turning around multiple times. Im assuming people must just sit there and wait for a table not really wanting to eat there, it wasnt until I asked her for a menu did she react. I generally like to sit at the counter if there is one. But dont suggest it here. Food was excellent, and the ambiance cute and inviting. Other service staff very inviting too. Open the door when you arrive and leave with a warm hello. Dont let the counter service deter you from trying Snooze. Will be giving it another try!

Cute place but service was bad. Server wouldnt even look in our direction, had to flag down for more coffee? Noticed same at another table. Food took forever to come out only to notice the plates were hot which leaves me to believe they were sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. I know food everywhere is expensive but small portions for what you pay. Specialty drinks looked amazing, maybe just come in for those.

Even with joining the waitlist we waited about an hour to be seated despite a waitlist of 17-32 minutes. Once seated we waited another 10 before we were greeted by a server, and 15-20 min more before our drinks arrived. Took almost 30 min before our orders were taken for food. The food was not up to what we expect from a Snooze AM based on previous visits at other locations. We ordered Benedicts and both of ours came without the hollandaise sauce which makes the whole dish. The meat was dry and the tortilla base was overcooked. We had eaten most of our food (at least 20 more minutes) before we were checked in on to see if everything was ok. Our server was very friendly and was doing her best, but she was obviously spread too thin to wait on us properly. The staff who brought our food out were rude and the food itself was definitely not worth the 2.5 hour start to finish excursion that this experience ended up being.

Excellent food and service. The only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because you have to eat all your food in 2 minutes or itll get cold. They keep this place freezing cold. Ive been there 3 times and its always the same, great food, great service, but if you try to have a conversation, youll have to eat cold eggs. I dont think Ill go back.

Didnt read the description for the Smashed Avocado Benny, methinks. One half of the muffin had portion controlled lox while the other half had sliced tomatoes. The Avocado was present on both halves each with a poached egg and the Hollandaise drizzle. Went with the Hash Browns that was satisfactory. The Spuds had generous spuds with a request for scrambled eggs. Time and again we are challenged to understand how chefs interpret scrambled eggs in American Diners - leaning towards curdy omelette rather than creamy paste. Naturally, the 3-eggs Scrambled order didnt rise above our pretentious bar but that is a self-inflicted issue for us because we generally opt for the safer omelette option. The service was excellent with zero cracks for nitpicking. There was no noise but some background music. Dining can be enjoyable but for the food.

There was lots of construction outside the restaurant which made it REALLY LOUD inside the restaurant. If theyd posted that on the website or let us know when we made a reservation for 8 people we would have gone to a different location. Our server was good. They were out of avocados so the 2 of us wanting avocado toast were out of luck. After finishing my coffee I noticed I didnt have any water. Our waitress brought it pretty quickly. After one sip I noticed the glass was dirty- had some dried food stuck to the rim. Since she was so busy I didnt want to bug her again about water. Snooze unfortunately wasnt as good as I remembered.

I ordered online for pickup, initially thinking the burrito was pricey. However, when I got the food I realized its quite a lot packed into a flour tortilla. I think the value is fair, but wonder if I shouldve experienced something else on the menu. I ordered two burritos, one add barbacoa and one add crumbled andouille sausage. Even with the green sauce on top, hot sauce is needed. The staff were great. I would consider giving it another chance but I would try something else. Parking: The retail center is undergoing construction and some of the parking is blocked off. It gets busy so you may have to park and walk a bit.

Absolutely shameful front staff. The last 2 times we ve gotten to-go food the young ladies in the front will ask for our payment, take our card (totally normal) but then will bring the card back and stand there hovering empty handed until the tip is filled out (or not). We are already hesitant on tipping because of incorrect pick up times ( 20 minutes till it s ready turns into 45 minutes). Both times recently, we ve had to ask if the food is ready while they stand there staring at us with the pen and receipt. The funniest part is, the first time this happened it was just myself picking it up, so I brushed it off as maybe an odd encounter and didn t mention it to my wife. Today my wife picked up the food and came out of the restaurant in a fury. They had her standing there for several extra minutes until she signed the receipt and the second she did, the food popped up magically at the front counter when the young lady had already checked the bag and said it wasn t ours. We live about 3 minutes from this snooze yet I will make sure to go to Frisco or Addison moving forward. Disgusting mannerisms

The pancake mix is not with fruit as indicated on the menu, they only place a very few (cut pieces) of the fruit on top (3 pieces). It is also the second time with my family that someone orders avocado toast, and the toast is very, very, very difficult to cut because it is too hard. Having eaten at the original location in Denver, we were excited to return to Snooze for some great breakfast in Plano. We came away regretting that we had used our time and money to eat there:( Our server seemed to be annoyed that he was working, the eggs we ordered came back undercooked, and the flavors that had made Snooze so memorable in the past, were not there. It definitely felt like we were eating at a chain like Dennys- except for more expensive. We would not recommend this location or the food there.

I didn t eat any of it and the server didn t once ask how the food was and the place was not busy. This is just unacceptable. Save yourself some time and eat somewhere else where the food is edible.

The slogan in Snooze, an A. M. Eatery in Plano, TX should be, You Snooze, You Loose. We had our Wait List from 1150-1210 on Saturday for five. We waited for almost an hour and Wait Staff told us there were two guest ahead of us. We should have read the reviews on Wait List experiences before going. Oh well, they should have a sign in Main entrance- Customer: You Snooze, You Loose How can the Management prevent this from happening again? Hope this helps improve the Wait List issues. Food/Services didn t get the chance to experience at the time but the Menu lists is awesome.

Ay...! Perfectly delicious! We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. The hostess was friendly and was smiling. Our sever was friendly and helpful. He suggested menu items that we really enjoyed. We started with the flight of pancakes and the Bacon but different. The flight of pancakes came with the pineapple upside down, Blueberry Danish, and sweet potato pancakes. All three were scrumptious, but the blue Danish was the best, the combination of the Blueberry and cream cheese was something else. It was not too sweet nor bitter. The pineapple upside down one has small pieces of of pineapple. The sweet potato tasted like capirotada. The bacon was cooked to a perfect crisp. It was sweet with a small spicy kick. For our main breakfast dishes we had the tostadas and the Carbonara breakfast Pasta. The tostadas came with black beans, eggs, salsa, and barbacoa. It was well balanced and the barbacoa gave it that perfect finish. They tasted similar to chilaquiles, flavorful but not spicy. The carbonara pasta had soft scrambled eggs and pork belly. This was a different type of breakfast for me. Regardless, it was very flavorful and would highly recommend it if you enjoy pastas. It was delicious. The place has various menu options. We will definitely be back to try all of them!

I have been a Snooze customer for over 10 years now, and I must say this is the worst location I have ever visited. The loud music and poor quality service were just the beginning of this sad visit. The Cappuccino was cold and bitter. The Buddha bowl was the saddest thing I have ever seen! A quarter of pre-cut avocado that sat in the kitchen enough time that it became darkened, the portion of the salad was a complete joke for what you pay, and the taste wasnt there. What really ticked me off was the attitude from the server stating, It is what it is! so I canceled it and didnt eat a thing. I will not be coming back to this location ever again, and I recommend you find a better spot as well!

I came with a coffee snob friend who confirmed that the espresso in our drinks were over extracted and caused a really off putting taste in what was supposed to be our sweeter drinks. Although the service and flavors of the food were great, my dish didn t come out as hot as I wanted it to. I forgot to mention this to someone before I left, but my hashbrown also had an bitter old oil aftertaste. I probably won t come again unless I see something interesting on their seasonal menu.

BEWARE SLOW SERVICE! Was seated 15 minutes after the time given by yelp when we reserved a place in line. Service was slow, took far too long to get our food, same problem was happening to others. Egg cold and undercooked, other orders inaccurate. Waitress did her best to make it right to her credit, but I honestly dont see myself coming back here. Food wasnt good enough for the price or wait.

She never made us feel rushed. Everything came out pretty quickly. And if you get the chance to try the corn tortillas, they are really friggin good corn tortillas. Sweet potato pancakes were also a favorite!

I ordered 2 blueberry pancakes. When I got to the 2nd pancake, it was chocolate chip, which I dont much care for. I asked for a replacement pancake, which came 25 minutes later. It was very crunchy. I had trouble cutting it with a knife and fork, but I loudly ate as much as I could stomach anyways as I was hungry. We were unable to get anyone to refill our water, so we also left very thirsty.

I went here on a Thursday morning with my perfect and beautiful pregnant wife. It s hard to even tell she s that pregnant because she is stunning and glowing. Nevertheless, she was third trimester hungry. We were seated pretty fast since it was a Thursday. We didn t get any sort of service for at least half an hour. I had to ask another server to check what was going on ( that s me starting to tear up from fear of being forgotten). After our actual server comes we place our order. The food took another 45 -50 minutes to come (that s my wife crying from hunger). The food comes and it is not correct. No big deal mistakes happen. However, even the corrected order was wrong. Food was decent and we added it to our list of not for us, but glad we took a chance restaurants.

By far one of the worst dining experiences. The service was awful. We were there around 9am on a Thursday. It wasn t busy, so we got seated right away, but had to ask for service. The server didn t come until almost 30 minutes after we were seated. After ordering, we waited another 30 minutes. During this time, the serving did not come check on us at all. We didn t even get refills. When the food came, some of order was incorrect. The French toast was way undercooked. The English muffin was not toasted or buttered like the server said it was going to be when we placed the order. The chicken sausage or hash browns were not good either, even the ketchup was bad. The only thing that was decent was the eggs. Would not recommend!

I came here with my extended family from out-of-town on a Sunday morning. It was an easy process to get our large party on the waitlist and we were seated fairly quickly, because we got there about an hour before the morning rush and we agreed to be seated at separate tables. My husband ordered the pork belly bennies and I ordered the shrimp and grits. We also shared a single pancake which was light and fluffy. I liked the variety of the menu and the offerings on the kids menu. My entire family liked what they ordered and the waitress was extremely patient with the kids table, especially when they kept changing their orders. I signed up for their loyalty program and was able to earn points and receive rewards/offers immediately. Definitely a go-to place for a no frills brunch spot for large groups.

Open and willing to making sure all dietary options are satisfied. Valerie was our server. This young person was extremely kind to my wife, children, and I. Making sure we felt welcomed. The rewards program with priority seating is on point and ahead of the curve. In conclusion, we will continue to visit this establishment consistently due to all the above mentioned facts.. The ONLY negative was the wait and how packed it was.. But thats not a bad problem to have! It just goes to show how amazing the food and service is

My recent visit to Snooze on Preston was an absolute nightmare. The front desk staff demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism and courtesy. After making us wait for 63 minutes without any explanation, the receptionist responded with indifference and told us to step aside when we tried to address the issue. Such disrespectful behavior tainted our entire experience, making it impossible to recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

The girl at the check-in table is ridiculously rude towards our party. Our party (7 ppl with kids) has been waited for 1 hour with 5 ppl present, and the front girl refused to seat our party when our table is ready and the other 2 ppl were just finding a parking spot. So I walked into the restaurant and saw that three parties have marched in without waiting, so I wanted to find out how long we have to wait. The girl told me until another table is ready and asked me to step aside while there is an open path in front of me and there is no space at my back that I can step aside to. So I waved to the ppl behind me and let them in. The front girl goes well that is rude , and made sure that the other guests heard it. I waited until she seated those parties (and they did not wait!) and asked her what did she mean that I was rude. She raised her voice and accused that I was rude because I did not step aside when she asked me to. I told her that was because I don t have the space to step side and I let the guests in. She then yelled at me accusing that I yelled at her and not allowing me to talk. The is absolutely not a service you would want at any restaurant.

But then the lady from front desk didn t let us in because we still have one more person on the way and they didn t even want to hold our table for 5 minutes and her attitude was really really bad and racist. Then we wait for another 30 minutes to get a table and that s after we talked to the manager. We don t mind waiting at all but their attitude is really awful I would not recommend this place to any of my friend.

We visited on a Saturday at around 2p and it was our first time eating at one of these restaurants. It was an excellent experience from the moment we stepped inside. Every employee is friendly and welcoming. Our server was great from answering our questions to recommending food items. I asked about the sweet potato pancakes and she said they were a favorite of many customers and one of her faves as well. It was one of the best pancakes I have ever eaten. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict and loved them. He is not a big fan of hash browns but said the ones served here were homemade and very well seasoned, he really enjoyed them. I believe it was 2 managers that came to our table to check on us, we rarely see this and appreciated it. The decor is beautiful and so inviting. We love trying out different brunch restaurants and this one will be on our favorites list for sure. We will be coming here often.

We decided to come to Snooze with another family after church. Knowing it would be busy, we got on the waitlist prior to arriving and the wait was almost an hour and a half. When we arrived we checked in at the front and the host was very friendly. We told him that we wanted to sit as close as possible together and he said he would see what he could do. There were 11 of us so we didnt necessarily think it was reasonable for us to sit at the same table. The other familys table was available first so they went inside and then came back out and grabbed our girls so the kids could get their food ordered while we waited for the second table. Our table was ready about 10 mins later and when we went inside there were 4 people at the host counter - two of the hosts, a manager, and another server. The server told us they would be with us in a minute and while we were standing there I could tell that the hostess, Taylor, wasnt happy about something. As we continued to stand there while the hostess was talking, I realized she was talking about our friends and how they had put 5 on the waitlist but there were 7 at the table. Our friends were standing up, not sitting down, and the hostess was saying that she didnt know what was going on, but she wasnt going to deal with this...blah, blah, blah. It was evident to me, my husband and my mom (who were all standing there) that she had an attitude. At that point I stepped in and said that if theres an issue our kids can just sit with us at our table. At that point the hostess turned around and rolled her eyes and walked out with her tablet to go do something else. They were able to sit us right next to our friends table and when I told them what was going on they said they had already spoken to the server and let him know that they were just ordering for the kids and the server didnt have a problem with it so they were surprised to hear the hostess was having an issue. Obviously, this did not start our visit off on the best note. Our server was VERY friendly and offered great suggestions for food. One of my daughters ordered their pasta which was very good. My husband got the pineapple upside down pancakes which were amazing and didnt need any syrup. I am a huge fan of eggs benedict so if its on a menu Im going to try it. Based on Yelp reviews I decided to try the Barbacoa Chile Verde Benny and, unfortunately, I wasnt a fan. I should have read the ingredients more carefully because the eggs and barbacoa sat on a corn tortilla base instead of an English muffin which, may not have been so bad, but I dont like corn tortillas so that pretty much ruined it for me. The barbacoa, though, was very tasty. Ive been to a number of Snoozes before and from a food perspective this one did not disappoint, but the kitchen was slow and we waited almost 45 mins before our food came out and we noticed some tables getting their food before ours. Once we mentioned something to our server, though, the food came out relatively quickly. I would say the only other disappointment during our visit was that the manager did not come over to apologize for our long food wait. Ive been in Snoozes that were much busier than this one and didnt have to wait that long for food. Overall it was an okay visit, but Ill probably try the Snooze in Frisco before well come to this one again.

Maybe our Plano server was having an off day but the vibe at this location was lacking compared to the location I visited in Austin. The Austin location felt hip and modern while the Plano location just kinda felt like a really clean Dennys. They brought the wrong meal to the table and the server was scarce throughout our time there. I always tip at least 20% I used to be a server and its not always an easy job. Chalking this one up to an off day.
