Delicious!! First time here and definitely will be back. I had the chicken plate with mac & cheese, and broccoli. The flavor on everything was perfect! Only reason I gave 4 stars is because most of my broccoli was burnt. Not sure if it s supposed to come like that but I did not eat much of it because of that. Other than that I enjoyed my meal and can t wait to try other food on the menu!

This is a seriously tasty but environmentally friendly place! The restaurant has an open and airy vibe during the day, but in the evening it settles into a chill place where I can totally see someone going on a semi fancy date. The menu is super inclusive to all kinds of dietary restrictions, they have LOTS of vegetarian and vegan options in every menu category. In terms of food, we loved everything we tried. The Brussel Sprouts and Kale Salad was very fresh and crisp, well balanced in all its toppings. The Chicken Yakisoba Noodles were hearty and filling, not overly sauced so the vegetables still had a present and crunchy flavor. The Steak Entree was nothing to write home about, but the side of Roasted Broccoli- woah. I could have eaten just a plate of the broccoli and walked out happy. The Sweet Potato Fries were an unexpected hit. They weren t very crispy, but very tender with a good balance of sweet and salty. The Buttermilk Yogurt Ranch it was served with was SO good, I wanted to use it on all my food. Overall, this is a nice place to visit for some food that will make you feel good about yourself : )!

Craveable and delicious! A fast casual place has no business being this good, lol. The only thing I wouldnt recommend is the kombucha- I normally love kombucha, but not theirs. Staff is reasonably helpful but does know enough about how the food is prepared and what allergens are in it. I had to ask a bunch of questions to make sure i could safely eat something and i had the feeling there was a certain degree of annoyance with my questions even though there was no one else in line and i wasnt holding up their operation. I was just trying to not get poisoned. Most people in food service offer to find out if theyre not certain how to answer your question, this was not the case, just a bunch of assumptions. Assumptions are not very reassuring that Ill have a safe meal. So i opted for everything plain, which didnt make for a very exciting meal. Theres no allergen labeling. Come on, at least the big two - gluten free and dairy free - should be marked. Food was decent but overpriced. For a health food restaurant you should care more about the health of your patrons. Dietary restrictions: No allergen labeling, staff doesnt know nearly enough about ingredients or preparation.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Flower Child, and I cant say enough good things about this place! I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Quinoa Bowl to go, and it was urrrrggggh so delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, with a wonderful mix of spices, fresh vegetables, and tender chicken. The quinoa was cooked to perfection, and the entire dish felt like a wholesome, healthy meal without sacrificing taste. The person at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring my order was prepared exactly as I wanted. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made the experience even better. It s clear that Flower Child places a high value on customer service, which is so refreshing. Additionally, the location is fantastic conveniently situated right off Preston Road. The total was $22 plus tip.There was nothing Calabrian about this dish, it s a few pieces of Cauliflower and what looked like a small dab of tahini with 5 shrimp. My friend introduced me to this place!! So good!! Followed her recommendations and favorites got the ginger miso crunch salad (added chicken) which was excellent! Also got the steak entree with GF mac & cheese with the red-chili glazed sweet potatoes! Definitely sides that are a must have when here! Noodles were a little over cooked, however flavor 10/10. I ve been a long time fan of flower child & frequent the location on Cedars as well as Belt Line Rd in Addison. I was ecstatic once they opened a new location in Plano as it s closer to home. A few days after opening, my husband & I picked up our order. Once we got home, his steak was not done fully & my shrimp was extremely burnt. I am a person of second chances, tonight, we ordered & spent no less than $60. My salmon was burnt & the portion was that a toddler could eat. I decided this would be my last time ordering from this location. It s concerning to me that shrimp & salmon could be burnt which are both foods that take nothing to cook. Disappointed. 1/10. Would not recommend. If you want the real flower child experience, please visit one of the OG locations in Dallas.

Food was as tasty, it was bland and not such acquired taste to it. Tofu was burnt and tasteless with no seasoning on it. The rose lemonade was nothing special like they presented due to rose name in the drink. Neither did it smell like rose or had any taste like rose. It was just a regular lemonade. I have loved Flower Child since I lived in Austin within walking distance from one. The Plano location is totally on par. Nice place to get a quick lunch. A few solid vegan options, including a chocolate pudding (which I did not have but appreciate). The bowl I got had good ingredients (broccoli, bok choy, rice, tofu) but tasted more oily than flavorful (this is not unique to FC, but a lot of casual dining places). Their tea bags also seem to be the kind that contain plastic. Not exactly healthy or environmentally friendly, which appears to be how they market themselves. Service was fantastic; they made my kid a vegan bowl since the kids sides only have one vegan option (fruit). Kid-friendliness: Nice outdoor patio with actual space between tables, so it wasnt a big deal if my kid got up.

Ate here twice this week and can t wait to come back and try more menu items. Both the Mother Earth bowl and the Flying Avocado Wrap were very good. Others with me had the Chicken Enchiladas bowl and the Forbidden Rice bowl, and everyone was happy. Portions are just right for the price. Plenty of tables available on a Wednesday evening, but lunch on a Friday had every table (indoors and on the patio) occupied. Glad to see this great new addition to Plano doing well! This was my first time visiting and the atmosphere is refreshing. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and green Chile queso. I got the rose petal lemonade but it tasted like regular lemonade. I highly recommend eating in the patio, weather permitting. The cashiers seemed disinterested and preoccupied but the waiters were quick and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again soon to see what else their menu has to offer!

This place is such a blessing. Super delicious healthy food. I got an avocado toast and a vegetable salad. The salad is incredibly fresh and crunchy. It has carrots and radishes, my favorite. Avocado toast is slightly too salty but nevertheless delicious. They have teas, water, beer, wine. Staff is kind and friendly. This is a feel good place with large windows . The only negative there was a loud employee in the kitchen whose voice carried : one phrase I heard clearly one meal per/ for employee , but maybe he was just loud and not arguing, being in the front of the restaurant I couldn t tell, but it got my attention and I had to look up to make sure that no one is fighting. Everyone and everything seemed to be all right. Maybe he runs his team Gordon Ramsey style :-) Vegetarian options: Lots of clean options , vegetarian options and tofu as a protein option.

Before coming into the restaurant with our dog we went in to find out if it was ok. Was told that it was totally fine outdoors as well as indoors as long as the dog wasnt on the chairs. It was a bit chilly outside so we decided on indoor. Placed our order and shortly after it came JT the manager came over to inform us that only service dogs wearing a vest were allowed in the store. The previous individual we had asked had not mentioned anything about service dogs wearing vests (we later spoke to him and he was there actually training the staff including management from Phoenix- he said that staff are not allowed to ask if dogs are service dogs as that violates the ADA) . We asked JT if he preferred us to move and he condescendingly told us yes. He Didnt provide us any assistance to move our already served food and drinks so we were on our own to move outdoors. I suggest hiring a manager who actually cares about future clients. JT has a rude and condescending attitude and is going to cost Flower Child customers.

If you are gluten free please pay attention to your order. I love their food and was excited we were getting a location in Plano. I ordered the hummus with GF pita today and a wrap with GF pita as well. The hummus came and I ate 4 pieces of the pita and then our wraps came. Mine was GF and my husbands was not. His wrap looked just like the pita we had with the hummus. I immediately took the last piece of pita to a manager and asked if it was GF and was told no. They were very apologetic and asked if it was an allergy and if I needed anything. I m not celiac but eating any sort of gluten will make me very miserable and I m definitely paying for it. I think with being so new their kitchen may not be up to speed on food sensitivities and how much of an issue this can be if they get an order wrong. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

We went today for the first time today.. we each had a chicken entree with 2 sides. The food was exceptionally tasty!! The service was top notch.. our server super kind and pleasant.. restaurant and restrooms were spotless. Great experience!! We will return and often. .

I called my order in, no problem there. The employee who answered the phone was professional and sweet. I showed up in the time I was quoted and was told to wait a bit longer. Not Ideal but no problem, its a popular place and very good. But when I bite into my mashed potatoes and pulled out 10 cloves and peices of inedible garlic, I was heartbroken.
