We really did enjoy coming here, but the ENTIRE menu has changed and not for the better. A lot of fantastic menu items have been discontinued and now only 4 bowls, tenders, wings and 2 chicken sandwiches are available. If the old menu items come back, we would for sure be customers again. But unfortunately this is no longer a great spot to eat a great meal.

It is one of those restaurants that you are excited about eating there because of your love of mac and cheese. I just wish they had more mac and cheese with some type of meat option on top of it like shredded chicken ,beef, or pork. A little more creative with the menu options would be great. The atmosphere and ambiance are really nice. This restaurant has great potential for success, just a few things that need to change. I also believe the location may not help. I wish this restaurant great success in the future

I really wanted to like this place as many have said previously. I ordered the biker Mike and cheese bites and a drink. There were several drink options out of service. The service was great and my food was hot and bland. The breading on the fried Mac n cheese was sweet and the make and cheese was dry and bland. My food was hot and cooked fresh but I didn t enjoy the music and the tvs didn t have subtitles so it was hard to watch. My phone was dead which made it boring while I waited and it also made it awkward because there wasn t an actual menu. My sandwich was hot but very bland and the breading in the chicken seemed to be the same as the fried Mac n cheese.

I really wanted to like this place honestly. The decor was great and the staff were nice. Our problem was the food though we got a carbon-era which tasted like nothing, there was zero seasoning in it. We also got an appetizer which was the loaded fries and an original the biker Mike. The size of the loaded fries was kinda small and again no seasoning. And then the biker Mike was somewhat better only because of the chicken, but once again the Mac and cheese on it was not seasoned. Oh also we got a side of garlic bread and a side of fries, the garlic bread was a piece of what seemed to be white sandwich bread toasted with some butter and garlic powder. And the fries were cooked beautifully but you guessed it, not seasoned. For their prices I would expect them to at least put some seasoning on the food. Very disappointing

I came here with the hubby to have a new experience and the place was very welcoming and clean! Staff was nice and polite. We spent 50 bucks with high expectations. Food was ok, we got The winging it , the Don t be afraid o, and the macncheese balls. We were more excited for the macncheese balls and found out they had little to no flavor We made one of our meals a combo which came with a garlic bread , that was just a hot dog bun toasted Thoroughly disappointed but his meal was the best one out of the bunch. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well, and the macncheese had flavor. Overall homemade mac definitely beats the taste.

We ordered the Platter which offered a variety of their menu plus fried pickles, excellent food. Nothing was greasy considering it was fried and their Mac and Cheese was on point. Food temperature was great, but the service was excellent. I would recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Parking: Location is around other businesses not out of the ordinary or overwhelming. Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere is comfortable and upbeat. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to sit and move inside the restaurant.

First time coming and the employees were super nice and inviting. The lady at the register was very sweet and even gave my son a treat for after his meal. Love the atmosphere inside and outside as well. Very clean! Great place to go as a family or on a date lots of area where you can take pictures and also had a smart photobooth that I had never seen before! The food I ordered was good but I definitely feel this restaurant needs to work on lowering their pricing. Its overpriced considering what I ordered. My guess is the building owners / landlords are charging a crazy amount for the rental space. The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean. (I wasnt able to respond directly to your question, Thank you for responding Sir.) To be fair, as well as to provide an answer I think would be appropriate it would have to account for the item(s) you might want feedback on. I look forward to trying more dishes! The Afraid-O pasta didnt have Alfredo, but instead, it had a pesto aoli, so it was very different for sure, but it was still tasty. The pulled pork grilled cheese was awesome! Its definitely worth a visit! Ask for their Nashville hot sauce for their wings because its made in house and so good; its spicy. Their Carbonara pasta is most popular. The staff was very attentive and wanted to do their best to make sure we were taken care of. We are coming back easily because of the service.

Wow. We ordered from DoorDash tonight. Bbq pulled pork mac n cheese with garlic bread and fried pickles. This was one of the most pathetic meals Ive ever ordered on door dash. WHO MAKES FRIED PICKLES LIKE THIS?!?! knife cuts?? Do you know what they are? The awkwardly cut pickle slices were barely breaded and sitting in oil. The garlic bread was absolutely pathetic. A $0.50 bolio from HEB with some butter on it. This is our second time ordering from here and it will definitely itely be our last. Overpriced garbage I can make better myself at home.

I visited this place as my son s birthday suggestion. When I drive, I m usually going A B to C, but this time, I got to see the town a little bit. Elbows Mac n Cheese is located in a nice urban plaza. If you don t slow down, you can easily miss hidden gems. I got to meet the Staff, and I can share they were something else; you could tell when people were happy to see you. My wife and children had been there before; I liked it very much. I felt very comfy, and my kids were enjoying themselves. Thank you, folks.

I came here today with my family, everything was super good and the service is top tier! Michelle was our waitress and she was super friendly and welcoming and made sure our order was exactly what we wanted. The General Manager Mathew was so nice and had such an amazing personality. He made sure everything was to our liking! Also shoutout to the cook Jose, everything was awesome! Will definitely come again! Are you craving mac n cheese or just some good ole carbs? Then get your fix at Elbows Mac N Cheese. Post-volleyball tournament our group decided to give this spot a try and everyone loved it. So delicious. We tried the caesar salad, grilled cheese kids meal, carbon-era mac n cheese, and chicken sandwich combo. The kids loved their grilled cheese meals. Chicken tender combo had yummy crispy flavorful chicken, and the carbon-era mac was so creamy and filling. Absolutely dig the design and layout of the restaurant. Lots of neon and cool spots to take pictures! Very kid friendly and hip vibe. The cashier was also a cook and one other chef in the back were running the whole show. They did fantastic. Alcohol is also served here if you want to drink and tons of free parking within the plaza. We came on a Saturday night and no problems finding a spot. I would highly recommend this spot for all locals and visitors. Plenty to eat and variety to select from. Huge servings. Most importantly, its delicious! Kid-friendliness: This is a wonderful spot to bring kiddos. They have cartoons playing on TV. Scooby Doo was on when we went and all the foods they serve are things that kids typically eat so youll have no problem feeding them here. Tons of options!

(TAKEOUT) Came in during half time of the Super Bowl. The atmosphere was awesome, and menue was so tempting with so many yummy things to have. The customer service was great. They had only two Mac and cheese options available. They were out of the pulled pork as well. So any item that had that as an ingredient was not available. Decided to finally visit the place. The best thing about this place was the atmosphere. The music was nice, the location clean, the area feels warm to be in. Unfortunately thats where the positives end. The place seemed fairly empty and stayed that way throughout our experience. I feel the high prices for the food was the leading culprit for this. We saw a few customers come and go after looking at the prices for a minute or so. It seems the franchise forgot to price their menu for the location they set up shop for. The serving portions were very small for the pricing. I do not normally compare other locations in my reviews but this one will merit a comparison due to the food to price ratio. A 40 dollar platter was equivalent in food portion to a 15-20 dollar platter at other locations. The mega strips were sadly anything but mega. When I worked in the industry, these were the basic strip size/portions we would sell for a third of the pricing. The Mac bowls were the better valued items, however, a decent profit could still be made with larger more filling portions. In the topic of food, flavoring unfortunately fell short as well. The fries were ok but had little to no seasoning or flavor to them. A little bit more salt could of gone a long way. The breading of the strips hinted at a bit burnt and the flavor was sub par. They were also a bit on the dry side. The cheese balls had a decent flavor for the filling, however; the breading used for this one had a stale, close to expired flavor you normally get when you leave breading open for a while or unused for months. I honestly think the breading should be changed out asap cause it made the flavor of the cheese ball take a serious hit. I know this is a bad review but hopefully this honest observation can help the location improve its services and help them turn a better profit in the future. Summery: Pricing would be ok if the portions matched the cost. Food quality needs to be checked to ensure freshness. Atmosphere feels good and the place has good potential to become a gem if the above is addressed.

Celebrated my girlfriends bday here yesterday and this is the best place Ive ever eaten at hands down. I got the biker mike, and it was just the best. Chicken was well breaded and moist, the spicy sauce was so rich in taste and added perfectly to the mac n cheese, along with the crispy buttered bread..it was just perfect. The atmosphere was amazing, and the customer service was great. All in all, its a 10/10 for me, and I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their menu.

Place looks amazing, but my fiancées sister was attempting to place an order and had a question about the kids under 12 eat for free. Well it s apparently only thru the weekdays & this was a weekend(ok cool no biggie) however the cashier was very rude and my fiancées sister felt like she was being talked down to just for asking a question. Another previous trip had myself & fiancée went after a movie. Food was GREAT! I got the chili Mac n had leftovers. Got home and later that night heated up my leftovers, took a nice big bite and it felt like I had a rock in my mouth. Come to find out, it was a part from a can opener (I m assuming). It was a small circular chunk of metal that could ve been part of the magnet that keeps the fan lid when opening the can. I then found pieces of the van lid on my Mac as well ..never said anything b/c I took the food home and only then found my metal surprise so the argument could ve been made that I put it in there, even though I d def never pull anything like that since up until 3 years ago I spent the better part of 15 years in the service & kitchen industry. Regardless of what nice treat I found I would still go back for the good alone. However not for the prices that are being charged.

The food here is really good! Honestly my favorite part was the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were, well, tender! The outside was nice and crunchy while the meat was soft and juicy. The Mac was great, of course. We tried the More Cheese for Me and I will absolutely be trying the other macs on the menu! We ordered the Mac Daddy combo with an extra side of fries. Very very good.

I ordered the funnel fries and they were delicious and made fresh. A little on the greasy side, but still delicious. My order was taken quickly and the wait wasnt long at all. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars was the pricing. I paid about $15 for funnel fries and a water. I wasnt expecting it to be as expensive as it was. If the fries are $8.99 then my water bottle was $4. I might pay $15 for this at Sea World or Six Flags, but not in Pharr. The rest of the menu looks just as expensive.

The first time to try and the staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was cooked to order and had really good taste,the mac n cheese water hot when it came out and the slight char on the cheese gives it another good different flavor, the wing sauce just brings it up to a whole level of goodness, the boneless wings were close to being over cooked but still were good. The food was not very good, I think its the cheese it was NOT cheesy at all, the Chopstix appetizer that was basically an espiripapa. The appetizer was STALE and DRY even if it said it had salt (it didnt) and the cheese and ranch were in a small ramekin. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich they have and the chicken was dry, the seasoning was like a dry rub (not a big fan) and the cheese was dry. My girlfriend ordered the breakfast bowl with the egg and the mac and cheese with tater tots, she had 6 tater tots(undercooked) in that big bowl, the mac and cheese was hard and rubbery on the surface and under the surface was watery cheese. The price for what we got was SUPER overcharged (almost $60 including tip), we ordered 2 entrees (one with fries, and no drink included on either), one appetizer and we ordered a separate drink (a tea). Big shout out to Adrian V. Very welcoming and just all out a good guy! The chefs in the back got a genie, cause what they whip up is just pure magic! The food is perfectly blended and well sauced! So good. We learned about Elbows Mac N Cheese at Brewseum during an event at our local Art Museum. They were serving different Macs and cheese, and we knew we wanted to take a look at the full menu. I had the Elote Mac and Cheese with chicken, and my bf had the Carbonara Mac and Cheese. Both are so good and creamy. We got size regular, which we could have shared. So we took them home for leftovers. The staff is nice and friendly and the place is clean and tidy and the music is soft and appealing. Positive atmosphere. Cant wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Got there and the place was just loud (music). The menu on google is outdated both on dishes and prices leaving me to make a split second change on what I was going to order. For a large tray it was about $15 just to get all Mac on my plate with a layer of cheese from a place that literally is about Mac and cheese. My wife lost her appetite after a couple bites and didn t want any after from the disappointment of her tray. The drinks were $8 for two which alone is a meal somewhere else. I suggested this place and it was a true downturn. We could ve gotten more at CANES and for less. Honestly? It was alright for a one time try only. The prices AND menu showed on google are outdated and it s almost $18 a large tray of Mac and cheese. I wish I could say that the food was worth the $ but the Mac and cheese was pretty bland. The drinks aren t included which is understandable but for two trays of Mac and cheese and two fountain drinks you end up paying around $50. I get we are in tough times, but with this amount of money spent on mediocre Mac and cheese I might just end up buying something somewhere else and could probably get more food out of it.

Casual laid-back atmosphere, social media worthy decor. We had the Philly Cheesesteak on Texas toast and the classic grilled cheese, both come with crispy fries. If you eat the food hot, its good. Ordered some lemon pepper wings and they were probably some of the best wings Ive had. The ranch they use is also really good. The mac and cheese balls were fried perfectly but the flavor could have of been better same goes for the Mac and cheese. We ordered the Carbonera one and the noodles were not drained well and it had 0 flavor. Im giving this 4 stars because the service was great, the atmosphere was great, the wings were great and they had live music which I was dreading at first but the musician was fun and upbeat. So me and my wife diceded to go and try this place for my wife is a HUGE mac & cheese lover. We get there, go inside and there is a line of 4 people ordering, and it took us about 10-15 mins to order. Having 4 workers in the front, 2 registers but only 1 worker working 1? Very inefficient specially since the other 3 workers were talking all the time. We sit and wait for our food for which were the pizza my heart mac & cheese, the Buffalo chicken mac & cheese and the loaded fries which ranged about $40 with drinks. After about 20 mins we get out loaded fries which were decent but then its when things started to go down. The family sitting next to me complained about the long wait time and that was enough for the pressure to kick in on every worker and mess up all orders. They started asking what each table had ordered and after another 20 mins started giving food to the wrong tables, i got my buffalo chicken but my wife never got her food and they gave her a pizza instead. It totally killed the vibe of going and enjoying that place, i truly had high hopes for it regardless of the reviews. The manager/owner needs to have more order and actually have the workers work, the entire time he was serving the tables, taking the food and obviously prioritizing that family that had complaint, while the other workers were just at the counter looking and talking to each other. Very disappointing of the experience.

This place was really delicious! Drinks aren t included with the meals so it s understandable of the prices. The pizza my heart regular macaroni was really delicious. It wasn t too overwhelming and it is extremely cheesy! The pepperoni actually gave it that little hint of flavor it would be missing. The pulled pork sandwich was very tender cheesy and creamy. The Texas toast bread was toasted just right. The sauce in a way tasted like sweet chili sauce if being honest. The fries could have used a bit more of seasoning. The Mac and cheese balls where good with the sauce but I believe the flavor of the Mac and cheese inside of it was too overwhelming and overpowering. They re really big in size! Would definitely would recommend and would be going back soon to try more of their menu!

This place was fantastic! Its more fast food place thrn restaurant, but thats better for kids anyway. The atmosphere is fun and the food is delicious. If you go during a busy time, be prepared to wait bc it did take us awhile to get our food and one of the workers was a bit rude. But would easily return to try more!
