Delicious food very similar to my Cuban food, many dishes can be called different but they are almost the same as Cuban gastronomy, just a little different in some of the seasonings they use, I really like that they add cheese to almost everything. I definitely have to go back

Very expensive.The plate online said 9 50 and I was charged 15 plus.Maybe the yahoo menu is wrong,I didnt mind but I got the creole breakfast and it was a very watery to go plate .I think they should drain the bean juice more or put in separate bowl.Very disappointing to treat yourself to a watery 15 plus dollar breakfast

Over all great experience. The plantain chips were unimpressive, with no flavor, but everything else was great. We had the mixed ceviche and the chicken. All the seafood was fresh, but the white fish had a very heavy fishy flavor. The tiger sauce and sweet potatoes in the dish were delicious. The chicken was well cooked and juicy. It did have a heavy black olive flavor, which I really enjoyed. We also had the sweet plantains. I did not get a photo of them, but they were fried to perfection. Would have enjoyed a drizzle of honey or maybe passion fruit, for a little more sweetness. The menu is on the smaller side.

Im not sure if we had bad luck today, but the food was awful. Coffee was cold, the empanadas tasted old. Scrambled eggs were tasteless. We had been here before, but the food today was really bad. The servers are super sweet and attentive. Good music, but the food was not great.

The service is excellent and the food is amazing. I loved the natural fruit juice freshly made, the patacones (plantains topped with beef and chicken), and the fosforera (a sea food soup). I closed with a caramel flan as dessert, which was creamy and soft, simply delicious.

I went for the first time to this Venezuelan restaurant. the tables were dirty I had to tell the waiter to clean it; flies all over the place but the worse was when we ask for the receipt $70 for 2 plates and a entree what the heck this is ridiculous; they are not a fancy restaurant to charge so much; completely disappointed; I rather go to Brazilian restaurant they charge $70-$80 but it is high class and you can eat all the expensive meats, salad and bar. Think before you go there.

Absolutely delicious! This authentic Venezuelan gem is well worth a visit. Everything we had was to die for and the menu ranges from comfort food to authentic dishes. Im trying to make this a weekend routine with the family. Austin has a lock on Mexican & TexMex... but Id yet to recreate amazing central American dishes since we left Miami. This place brought our bellies and hearts back to some of the things we missed.

Spent our Saturday evening here at Fogonero, they had a karaoke night, and an Elvis impersonator who sang songs to you. The food here is amazingly delicious! I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly and with the accompanying sauces, it was a treat. Overall experience here was a great. Looking forward to next time.

Great new place to eat. My wife and I shared the Patacones appetizer then each had Pabellon Criollo for dinner. Both were really good. Fantastically redesigned (though smallish indoor) space. Upscale but unintimadating the food was fresh, fragrent, and delicious. If you want mind blowing ceviche this is the spot. Was very excited to try this place with all the rave reviews. We went around 5:00 on a Wednesday and had the whole place to ourselves. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We ordered empanadas, rib soup, pabellon criollo, the linguin, a frozen margarita and a strawberry mixed drink. The flavor of everything was phenomenal but unfortunately my boyfriend found a piece of plastic in his shredded beef which kind of ruined the experience for us. Our server was apologetic, but aside from apologizing and taking it from our table nothing was done, which was a bit disappointing considering the experience is a bit of a splurge. I think still giving the food 4 stars despite that speaks for itself.

Food is amazing!! Best place ive ever been to hands down. The salsas are very flavorful, different than your usual spicy ones you find at the store or in other restaurants. I ordered a chicken soup. Sounds simple enough right? Well once it reached my table i was blown away by the immense flavor! The broth was a milky white with queso fresco pieces in it. It was so good i finished the whole bowl! I also ordered their sugar cane drink. This place deserves a bigger building with additional tables because the restaurant is currently set up to only use half of it so its a very narrow small space for seating people. If only they had additional space, the atmosphere would make it all come together. Service is phenomenal.

I never leave reviews but my friends and I, a total of 5 people (with video footage we took for socials) ate here. The food was great, absolutely no complaints which is why I m giving it 3 stars. I had to leave early so one of my friends sent me the itemized bill and I noticed a 6-person gratuity (18%) had been charged. When I asked the others, none of them had known the waitress had purposely added it to each of their bills and they all subsequently tipped her on top of the charge. They realized later she didn t give an itemized total and just had them pay on the reader. I think the food is delicious here, but can t condone shady behavior from a waitress.

After so many good reviews I was excited to try this place but the food was ok , nothing too exciting. The food wasn t hot and I think it s overpriced . I wouldn t recommend it.

Food amazing. Drinks dont waste your time.i took one sip and sent it back. It was supposed to be a pineapple drink. Service ok. One of the waitress sneezed in her hand and still walked over and grabbed the plates.Glad she was not cooking. Food is great that alone will bring me back.

Great atmosphere and awesome food! Loved the reina pepiada arepa. The pabellon arepa was really good too- and dont sleep on the avocado and hearts of palm salads. Really light and go well with the arepas- which are super stuffed and delicious, you wont go hungry, definitely.

Delicious! We had the pastelitos, fried yuca, Caracas fillet mignon and pabellón criollo. Everything was really good. Service was good and fast! We ll be back! Parking: Small lot Food : 5/5 |
