I just remembered this establishment today. I came here once, about 2 or 3 years ago. I stood around for nearly 15 minutes without even being acknowledged by the owner until I walked out. She wasnt even helping anyone or something. Even as I left, she didn t attempt to service me and just said Goodbye as I walked out. And I took that goodbye to heart. Haven t returned since and don t plan to.

Signed up for a class to make guacamole bowls and when we showed up the teacher/owner had messed up dates and prepped for a different class. Decided to stick it out and do the coil class she had prepared for instead. I asked if to could make my ceramic as a plant pot instead of a bowl, shaped to a mold she had there. We agreed not to smooth the inside as I would put a plastic planter on the inside and didn t want the coils to get smashed in the smoothing process. When I came back later to paint it after it had dried, it looked like a completely different piece and none of the decisions we had made in the shop were followed. It looks like my toddler made it. Would not recommend taking a class there. On top of the outcome being a waste of money and will probably be thrown in the trash because it s so ugly, the class was incorrect and the teacher was bossy and kept grabbing my pottery and doing things herself instead of actually teaching me to do it. If you re looking for a relaxing experience, take your money elsewhere!

I enjoyed painting ceramics here so much! They have a lot to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. The cost of supplies is included in the price of the item you choose to paint. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and let us stay late to finish our projects. It s a relaxing and creative experience. It was the best way to reward myself for working 6 days this week!

Very cute place to drop in and paint some ceramics. A little pricey, but supplies and studio space are included in the price you pay for the piece. The atmosphere was a little like a kids class, but what can you expect when youre at a ceramic painting space its perfect for kids. All in all, I had a great time, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. There were lots of kids and it was very busy.

Fun place for a relaxing activity. My wife, daughter and I along with another small family decided to do this as an activity for the kids but I think I enjoyed as much as they did. The hardest part is picking out which piece of ceramic (or other activity) you want to paint. Then I discover the actual hardest part was deciding on your colors. Then I decided that the real hardest part was trusting your activity director when she said, it will look much brighter and pop once it is glazed. Then I found out that the true hardest part was waiting 5-7 days to see how it turned out. But in truth, the hardest part was being amazed that I might be an artist after seeing what I had done in the end. My apologies to our artistic guide, she was 103.6% right! Go. Its fun. Bring your wife and a buddy and his wife. Chit chat and relax. Its something different and enjoyable. Then have a beer next door and enjoy downtown Pflugerville. Go Pflugerivlle! Go Local.

I keep forgetting to post. We had been here once before to scope it out as a possible birthday venue, at that time, my daughter and I had a blast doing a small glass project here. This made it her top choice for her 9th birthday. She has aged out of wanting to do little jump houses and indoor parks, so we were looking for something a little smaller and more her style. Ceramics n More was a perfect choice. Mickey, our attendant for the party, was great with all the kids and very helpful. The selection of party animals was great and all the kids had a lot of fun getting to paint their own little animals while socializing. You wait about a week for the ceramics to get fired but when we got them back they turned out so cute, and all the kids were happy to see their creations when we passed them back out. Would definitely recommend this place, whether it be for a birthday event or just a fun afternoon!

I love this place. I have been 4 times now and every time the hardest part is deciding what to paint! Theres such a selection its almost overwhelming. The owner is so nice and the turn around on getting our pieces back is usually only about a week. I smile every time I drink coffee from my hand painted mug! If you havent been here you should give it a try. Its a fun way to spend a few hours flexing your creative muscles.

Took my kiddos and their friends on a Saturday. Plenty of room and SO MANY pieces to choose from. You can use as many colors as you want and arent rushed to finish. I wouldnt recommend it for kids under 4 as its pretty tight and lots of delicate pieces around you. I love supporting local and this owner is so sweet, clearly cares about her customers, art and getting your pieces back to you quickly ( they have to be fired in a kiln so it takes a few days).

My boyfriend & i went last week & the experience was very pleasant! They have so so many things to paint which could a be pricey but it s understandable and we found multiple things to paint which were under $25 and were still a good size! they have a good variety of paint & brushes & we were able to just choose the item we wanted to paint right off the shelf and choose colors & the lady gave us little pallets & explained it a bit to us. I never caught her name but an older black woman, she was amazing! Very kind & helpful & let us do whatever we wanted to our pieces with no interruptions. We were given as much time as we wanted to paint & she let us be, we finished up and paid super easily it was only about $40 for 3 things painted & we got a text today that the items were ready & they look amazing, they even glaze it for you which is super nice!! 10/10 i will go again & recommend to my friends!

Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Not sure about the other reviews but they sound like high maintenance mommies to me.... I mean geez complaining about the name of the color green?? Because they have control over what the manufacturer calls a shade of green....lol. I like this place. They let me take paint home to take time and paint my ceramic. Such a relaxing and satisfying activity.

Very disappointed! I took my daughter here on our mother-daughter date and my daughter chose a tea set that was $36. It was fun to paint and she was beyond excited to pick up the finished product. I got a text message about a week later stating that it was ready for pickup so when I showed up the next day, the store was closed. I called and the message machine said they were closed and would hopefully re-open in a few days. My daughter was soooooo sad!! What is even more disappointing that I just found out today was that the tea pot doesnt pour!! The spout is blocked off, not sure by what but my guess is that the glaze they used before cooking it clogged the hole. So the tea set that cost us $36 cant even be used! Will definitely not be returning and would not recommend to others!!!

This place is a joke. The staff provided clearly doesnt know what their doing . On my first visit the employee at the store was probably in her early 30s I clearly asked her Do you have enough paint for us to complete this project her answer was yes but, half way through the piece I asked for more paint because the bottle was empty but, low and, behold there was no more paint so we were forced to take the un-finished piece with us instead of them storing it till they could provide us with the paint to complete it . Our second visit the staff was in her early teens and, had no idea of what she was doing either. Old brushs and, not the correct ones for the project were placed on the table . After being given the brushs my granddaughter asked Which brush do I use and, the employee of this establishment said its really personal preference and, how quickly you want to get done I almost fell out of my chair.... The paint color is selected from a small tile that displays about 20 different colors on it for you to make your selection to complete your piece . There are no ceramic books there with pictures that would help children visualize what their piece will look like after completed. I asked it they had a turn table we could use to make it easier for my 8 year old granddaughter to make sure she covered all areas of her project and, I the staff did bring us one but, then said use it at your own risk and, for the furniture...the chair that I sat in was wobbly and, I quickly got up and, searched for a stable chair .....what are they thinking. To the owner Please close this so called Ceramic Store down or, provide us with a reputable store with experienced ceramic teachers . This is a slap in the face to the Community of Hutto, Texas !!!! FYI the closest green to a Christmas green was called Frog Green Yes ! my 8 year old granddaughter is now going to give her parents on Christmas Eve a decorative piece done in Frog Green that cost $ 86 plus change which was a complete rip off because you can but, a better piece completed on Amazon for $ 46.00 .....What we wont do for our grand children So you may be say why didnt I take my granddaughter and, leave well this is the reason : When you make plans with a child you want that activity to be special in her mind always something she will share with her children not one that she will remember for me telling the employee of this store honey I dont think you know what your doing and, you cant provide us with the correct paint colors I want my money back **** I HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE ELSE WHO MAY BE THINKING ABOUT SUPPORTING OUR HUTTO COMMUNITY.
