Everything about this place is great. The food is absolutely amazing and doesnt taste like typical bar food. The pizza me and my mom got had so much flavor, trivia was super fun and the hostess was funny and overall such a sweetie. The inside and outside is also nice as well.

This place always has been great at rotating taps. The bartenders are probably the nicest and most knowledgeable in pflugerville. I always go here to try new beers with a flight. If you use untappd, this is the bar for you. The food never disappoints.

I have been coming here for over 3 years now and they have the best wings in town, and the best I ve found in the Austin area!! The lemon pepper is so good!! They have fantastic pizza and pizza rolls as well. They also carry over 50 local beers and wine which is fun to try and the staff is very friendly!! I recommend this place for anyone!! Plus if you like trivia, come on a Tuesday night and have fun with the trivia!! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Austin area and a place I recommend everyone should try out at least once!!

Ive been to The Growler Bar a few times now. Last night my wife and I went for the bars 10th anniversary. While there were a lot of people there the bar made sure to set up extra seating. Also despite how busy it was all our food came out way faster than I expected. We had the Spinach Arugula Salad, Potato Skins, Pretzel, and Meatball Sliders. All of the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. There are a few other bars that might be closer to is but this one is by far my favorite. They have a system that keeps up to date on which beers they have on tap and how much of the barrel is left which you can check out on their website. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for good food and good beer

Lack of diversity inclusion and awareness. Never EVER have a been to a bar business and the bar tender comes from behind the counter and comes over as they are closing to check and if if the tab has been paid . Being the only black women sitting at this establishment and the first stop really disgusted me. My friends, whom I was with has been to this business several times and they stated this has never happened to them. But welcome to the day in a black womens shoes.

We come here all the time. The food is really delicious and they have plenty of beer options. The wine options they have are typically really good as well. The Growler Bar is very unique in many awesome ways. Here is why, great selection of drinks (~45 rotating beers on tap, 6 wines on tap, two komuchas on tap, three cold brew coffees on tap and the ROOTBEER on tap is almost a religious experience), free popcorn, free video games (three consoles and two have 6 games each), board games and local food trucks. But for me the biggest deal is its FAMILY FRIENDLY. This place is what I would think a neighborhood pub in the UK would be like. We meet friends and family there at least once a week and spend some great quality time talking, socializing and playing board games like Battleship, cards and Monopoly. Have not heard a curse word yet, everyone is friendly, the staff is great and knows their beers; my wife often goes off what they recommend. There are beer types there that I never have heard of, if you like beer, then you have to try all the kinds (IPA, Mead, Siason, Barleywine, Scottish Ale, etc) but for me, my vise is the Cuvee Cold Brew Nitro Coffee and the Buddhas Brew Komucha. If you want to get a good initial feel for the place, go early on a Sat or Sun (like in the afternoon) or before 6:30pm on a Mon-Wed. The owner is very customer driven and you can tell that they love what they do and know what they do. Keep an eye out of their Tap Takeovers where a brewery is there for an evening and has a lot of their stuff on tap.

The Growler Bar and Kitchen is a hidden gem. If you love beer and pizza you NEED to get over there soon! The GB&K is not easy to see from 685. As you head south it on the right side, up on a hill and really not visible from the road. Use Waze or Google Maps to find it the first time. The first time we went there, we went for the beer not knowing they had a kitchen. I did see a menu, but some of the kitchens in places like it are really nothing to brag about. So in the hour we were there we watched about 100 pizzas walk out the door (No, this is not an exaggeration). I mean people were ordering 2 or 3 pies each time and it seemed like the take out business was booming. We decided to try their Chicken BBQ pizza and quickly realized why...it is darn good. We have gone through about half of their pizzas on the menu and tried their wings too which are good. Of course the beers and other beverage they have on tap are why we love the place. There are over 60 choices ALL the time. I am a big stout drinker and even in the summer they have multiple choice from me. They have ALL types of beers from sours, to IPA, porters and European choices. Local favorites, other beers from Texas and then everywhere else. My wife tends to not like beers but she will get a flight of some of their ciders, or less potent choices which are sweeter. The have a small inside area to eat and drink including a bar counter. Outside they have bistro and picnic tables with cover and umbrella to block the melting summer sun. Service is excellent both at the bar and in the kitchen. So worth a stop if you love beer. Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in the door. Tables allow easy access for eating. They are VERY accommodating for wheelchair patrons!

5 stars for the service alone, especially since we sat in the outdoor patio area. Manager/owner brought out some treats for our dogs and offered water immediately. 2 beers, pretzel sticks, and a bratwurst sandwich for $36, not too shabby. The server misheard my wife and forgot to add the Caesar salad so they gave it to us free despite us offering to pay. The cheese dip and the brown mustard for the pretzels were delicious. Mustard had a nice spice. The brat was slightly under seasoned but the mustard and sour kraut helped. Great spot, will definitely come back anytime we pass through Pflugerville.

What a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some great beers and delicious food. If you are into stouts then this is heaven because they had 19 different stouts to choose from when we were last here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff rounded out another fantastic experience. Great job!!

The first time we came here was when COVID started. The pizza was eh. We chalked it up to driving 20 minutes before getting to eat and the overall COVID rush. After a couple years we decided to give it another try. The Growler is mediocre, at best. This time we had pretzels, wings, and chicken and waffles. The pretzels were hot and delicious, the cheese dip tasted like it came from a powder. The wings were decent. The chicken and waffles were awful. The food was inedible - burned waffles and pieces of tenders, and the chicken was reminiscent of H E B s Natural Frozen Tenders. We won t be going back to The Growler. Can t say we didn t try.

It s okay. They are overpriced and food/kitchen is always inconsistent with taste and overall presentation. I was given a burnt pizza bread for my carry out order. Didn t realize it in time.

I love this local pub. There are lots of craft beers on tap to choose from with a menu full of yummy foods. Food: you cant go wrong with the carnivore, pepperoni pizza rolls or hot bufallo wings. The potato skins...eh, Ill probably never order them again. Beer: all your favorite craft beers and plenty youve never heard of. Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas to block the sun.

Potato skins were spicy for some reason. Not many blond/lager/wheat beer choices. Lots of dark/ipa beers. Food came out hot. Usually I like this place, not as good as they usually are. It would be nice to have more types of beers.

Great atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff who will help you pick out the right beer from their huge selection of craft beer on tap. The kitchen puts out some of the best pizza rolls. The pizza and wing selections arent something to sleep on either. You cant go wrong with this spot, thats for sure!

I always run into Jeremy & Andrew at the counter when I stop by- those guys are the best <3 knowledgeable about what s on tap and they never lead me astray. Also the stuffed potato skins SLAP & save really well as leftovers :)

I appreciate the evolution of the business. The expansion of the food menu is appreciated. I want to support this local business that I have frequented since it opened. Why would it take 1.5 hours to get a food order filled when the place is 1/3 full? We asked no less than 3 times about the order that still wasnt filled when we left. I am extremely disappointed that no one took ownership, but were still willing to try to charge for an unfulfilled order.
