Definitely worth checking out. I had the fried catfish, greens and cabbage. Everything was delicious! It s a family owned business and the whole family is so nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back for more.

The outstanding service was just as great as the food. Its new location at the Hippo Cafe in Hutto now allows this stellar menu to be enjoyed even more. Our group of three had the fried porkchop, fried ribs and the gumbo, with sides like Mac & cheese, collard greens, red beans & rice, cornbread and yams. We literally enjoyed every piece of our meal!

Great tasting, consistent soul food is exactly what Hutto needed. My first sip of the purple stuff had me excited about what was to come!! Ive tried the yams that are made to perfection, the collard greens are flavorful, the green beans are just as good, the rice was fluffy & paired with a tasty homemade gravy. Now lets talk about the meats, each were fried to perfection! The center cut pork chops are well seasoned, the chicken wings are a hit and I absolutely loved trying the fried ribs for the first time, but certainly not my last. Listen my description will never be able to justify how great this food is, youre just going to have to taste it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Its clear this food is made with love. First of all, let me just say that I dont eat everybodys cooking. I am from the south and everybody cant cook southern food the right way. But I tried Ms. Tonyas cornbread dressing and I have tried her Chitterlings and I must say I am very impressed. They were both delicious and I will be calling on her again. If you want some real southern food call Ms. Tonya.

Tonya catered my wedding and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone mentioned how great the food was and that they kept going back for multiple appetizers. She was so professional and sweet and made my wedding that much more special. Would definitely recommend her and will be back for some more tasty food!

There is nothing better than discovering a great, tasty and reasonably priced food truck. I had a grilled pork chop w a side of the OMG collards. My hubby had the wings and side of mac. It was the best food we ve had. The mac and cheese was cheesy. The collards had large chunks of ham. The wings were crispy and juicy. The pork chop was tender and perfectly spiced. It smelled so good, we forgot to take pictures.

Everything was great, I came 2 days in a row and plan on making this my food spot! I dont eat everybody greens including my momma (sorry momma love u) but there greens OMG! Catfish delicious, wings were wings, gumbo was delicious, and the oxtails......I almost cursed, Im just saying you gotta try Everything again and again! I love this spot!!!

I had the fried pork chop, the mac & cheese and the greens. The food was delicious. The greens reminded me of my Nanas. I couldn t stop eating the greens until they were gone and I ve never eaten my sides before I get to anything else. I can t wait to try the fried ribs!! The location is great and Ms. Tonya is super sweet!

First time today, my wife and I went by and had the smothered pork chops, greens, yams and corn bread..all I gotta said is Whos mama I gotta slap lol really though, aint nobody messing with Miss Tonya skills... great job oh yeah and try the purple stuff kool-aide..had to for Big Pokey!! Just had Tonya do catering for my event- she was professional but also caring, and she was so flexible when i had to ask for quick changes to the order! 10/10 would work with her again. She puts love into her food and it shows! Everyone loved the food! The wings, the mac n cheese, collards, beans theres almost no point in listing specifying because really every dish was a hit!

New to the Austin area. Found this place online. Food was great but gave it 4 stars due to lack of choices. They claimed they sold out of everything and only had smothered pork chips. They had all the sides, though. Collard greens well seasoned and the best home made yams i have tasted in a good while.

It was love at first Bite! Touched by Tonya is me new favorite place to enjoy soul food. Everything I tasted was delicious. Miss Tonya is a wonderful soul and an extreme delight to talk to. I can feel her warmth and welcoming spirit. My Dad who is extremely picky raved about the food and bugs me everyday to pick up some deliciousness. I m happy to oblige. If you crave great Southern Soul Food cooking, this is the place for you, Ms Tanya is the real deal, a truly wonderful person and Chef . I had the oxtails plate and the wings with fries, the omg greens, red beans and rice with yams . Everything was tastylicious . I will be going back to try the smothered pork chops. I tried their banana pudding - vanilla pudding with banana slices and plenty of vanilla wafers. My ideal banana pudding would have more banana slices and be topped with a little whipped cream, but I still enjoyed every bite of this sweet treat. It s definitely good for the soul. And the owners are super friendly! When you know your food is made with love, it tastes even better.

I live in central Austin and this place is worth the drive!! I got chicken, fries, red beans&rice, and Kool-Aid!!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Im hooked! I cannot wait to try everything else on the menu! The service was a huge plus!!! Nice people and great food! I wish I would have taken a pic but after one bite I couldnt stop eating lol!
