Absolutely loved this property. Amenities are top notch. The customer service was the best I have ever received at any hotel. I will be returning to this property soon. We have family in Pflugerville and a soon to be grandson. Thank you, Tru by Hilton for such an amazing stay. Also, we came into town for a baby shower and the onsie shown in the picture was gifted to me. Such a sweet touch.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. In todays world, where amazing customer service seems to be in decline, it was incredibly refreshing to experience such a welcoming atmosphere. Kennedy was particularly impressive in her role. She expertly promoted the Hilton Honors program and ensured I spun the wheel for an additional surprise, adding an extra touch of excitement to my stay. Her enthusiasm and professionalism truly stood out. Alongside Kennedy was Saray, who was equally friendly and welcoming. Upon checking out, I had several questions about the Hilton Honors program. We stayed for 2 nights while I was having a medical procedure nearby. Everyone was extremely friendly and everything is very clean. Excellent location. Pretty good breakfast also. Little disappointed in the actual room. It was nice but I have never stayed anywhere where there is no microwave, no coffee available in room, no closet, and no dresser. Had pegs on the wall to hang clothes and shelves for everything else. Our ac unit worked great but something wrong with compressor. Was ridiculously loud. Sounded like jet engine starting up. Was offered a different room but too much of a hassle. Just stuck it out there. Again, many good things about it but probably wont stay at tru anymore.

I travel full time and almost always stay at Hilton properties. This tru was up to the Hilton standard I expect. I great hotel. My only complaint is the rooms dont have a microwave. There is ONE microwave for the building For this reason I wont return to this location. Rooms

This hotel surprised me in the attention to detail given not just in cleanliness but to some old-school touches (see photos) and friendliness of the staff. Well done! Also, I haven t been in a hotel with a pool table or two separate and different free buffet breakfasts. Again well done. But people make the difference always and the staff was at the top of their game during my stay.

Very nice hotel, the staff are all so friendly too! Came here on a short visit to see a family friend while exploring the Austin area. Our room was huge for my mother and I, only complaint is that I believe there was a leveling issue with the bathroom since the water from shower gets absolutely everywhere on the floor. So there was no point in leaving a towel down to dry feet or clothes since it all gets soaked. Besides that, breakfast provided by Hilton is great because they have numerous options available and replenish the trays and coffee quite frequently. Pflugerville has some nice surrounding spots that are walking distance from the hotel as well. Nearby activities: Next door their is a restaurant called the Goat, they also offer a swimming pool with a day pass for it. Stone Hill shopping plaza is walking distance as well for various shopping and a Target as well. Walkability: Can walk to nearby shopping and the restaurant next to the hotel. Food and drinks: The offer free water at the front counter which is convenient on hot days. Breakfast is from 7-10am and has a big selection between cereal, oatmeal, eggs/sausage, fruits, muffins, biscuits and gravy. Coffee comes in decaf and regular as well with provided sugars and creamer options.

My husband and I stayed here recently and were greeted by Faith. She was absolutely wonderful and so helpful after the day we had been through (which was incredibly horrible, so to be met with a kind face, smile, words, and treatment was a blessing). The room was comfortable, the breakfast a standard hotel breakfast, and the rest of the staff we spoke with during our three day stay were very friendly. I normally do not sleep very well in hotels, but this hotel was so quiet! I didn t hear our neighbors next to us (other than when I was in the hall walking to our room, but I m not sleeping in the hall, so that doesn t matter) or the neighbors above us. We needed boxes for our move, and the Home Depot was conveniently located nearby. So was Target, several restaurants, a movie theater, Costco, waterpark, and other shops! This hotel was in the perfect location for everything. Very rare to have such friendly staff, a quiet and fully booked hotel, and several things to do nearby all together! So if you need a place to stay, we highly recommend Tru in Pflugerville!

We stayed one night, the Saturday of Memorial weekend 2024. We ended up booking the day of around 2pm and were checking in by 4:30 roughly due to our drive from New Braunfels. We were greeted very kindly by the Host and given a welcome bag with two waters and some snacks. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby and the surrounding seating areas. It s very open, new and welcoming. Coffee, hot water for tea and hot cocoa were provided in the dining room. One reason I feel the lobby is very spacious is because two hotels, TRU and Home 2 Suits share the same building. Both are Hilton brand hotels. So when you walk into the lobby each brand has their own designed dining areas on either side of the front desk. The free breakfast was better than I have ever gotten from most hotels. Not only was it good, each hotel brand offered their own choices that were available to all guests staying on property. This means me as a TRU guest was, offered items served in the Home 2 Suits breakfast area. For the TRU breakfast Outside the normal continental breakfast items there were tacos (chorizo & egg) they provided what seemed like homemade salsas, cheese as additional condiments for the tacos. They also had a very cool cheese and fruit bar that served up amazing options that I m not used to getting from other places. The Home 2 Suits side offered up hot items: the special the morning we ate were Chicken Biscuits. The waffle station was amazing and good. Both side had their own drink stations, and coffee stations. Each side had their own seating to eat. The pool, was a good size and my son spend hours playing. Not sure if the hotel provided the pool toys but there were pool noodles and floats in the pool area. They could have been left by other guests but it made my son s swim time very fun. Behind the pool is a nice grill station with additional seating if you want to eat by the grill. Behind the hotel just outside where the food is served there is a nice patio area. They also have a pool table inside the dining room off to the side. They have a microwave in the lobby for you to use. And during breakfast at the front desk they offered infused water that was very good. The cucumber lemon water was my favorite. The rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable, and AC worked like a charm. Location of the hotel could not be more ideal. We were walking distance from a movie theater, restaurants, and a Target. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel based off my experiences. I understand that experience can change from guest to guest but after my stay, I have nothing bad to say at all. Staff was nice from the time I got there to the time I checked out. I will definitely stay there again if I m ever in the area. Rooms: Rooms there clean, beds there just right. Not too firm and not too soft. The bead sheets there very soft and the pillows were comfortable as well. The Shower was big, and the restroom was lit up very bright. The AC in the room worked great without any issues. The TV was big and the wifi signal was strong in the room and throughout the entire property. Nearby activities: There is so much to do within walking distance of the hotel it s not even funny. Everything from a movie theater, restaurants, Target, and the list goes on. There is also this place that s not open that is right next door, that looks very fun. I think it was called the Goat or something, I could be wrong but it s a family place that s like a bar and grill that also has a huge swimming pool, and sand volleyball courts. my wife and I looked it up on google maps said it was coming soon Walkability: This place is in walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and entertainment places it s not even funny. My wife is a huge Target Shopper, and the fact that you can step out the lobby and throw a rock and hit target was like heaven for her. Just think, if your hanging out by the pool, just walk over to target and grab some adult beverages and items to put in the grill and you can really enjoy yourself Food and drinks: They don t have a bar but they door offer alcoholic beverages that can be bought individually. Most hotels nowadays have a small so called shop that sells convenience snack items, this property takes those same options and takes it up a notch and offers so much more. The free breakfast was amazing. Noteworthy details: The Staff was 10/10 The Rooms were 10/10 The Amenities were 10/10 The Proximity to almost anything you need was 10/10 The Free Breakfast was 10/10 I can t say anything negative about my stay with TRU

I had accidentally reserved the wrong date online. I realized this 2 days before my stay. I phoned the hotel in Pflugerville & they were so nice about my error. They made it very easy for me by refunding me for the past date where I was a NO SHOW. Then rebooking me for the correct date at the same rate. The hotel itself was lovely. Everything in my room was working correctly. The room was very big, nicely decorated, nice finishes & clean. If I am in that area, I would stay there again. I would stay at another Tru by Hilton. And I would recommend to a friend.

Very pleased with our stay at Tru. Due to a family emergency we had to change our reservation by dropping one night in the middle of our stay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate this need. Rooms: Rooms are clean and well appointed. Theres plenty room for luggage. The shower is large and walk in. Food and drinks: Probably one of the best breakfast buffets I have seen. There are two sides with slightly different offerings and something for absolutely everyone.

Check in didnt have notes on one room. Which made it a bit slow.. Rooms: Rooms were no frills no fuss. Not a dresser or closet in the double rooms or king size. It was a cold feeling. Nearby activities: Charity Golf Tournament at the Star Ranch venue. All monies raised goes to Childrens Cancer to find a cure. Safety: With over 20 plus DPS Troopers staying at the hotel, we felt safe. Food and drinks: We were recommended 54th Street restaurant. That was the high light of the trip. Best food and atmosphere. Noteworthy details: We felt the rooms were over priced. However, the beds were great for sleeping. Bathrooms were clean.

The hotel seems to be fairly new, nice, clean, bright and what you would expect. Located in a shopping area, shops and restaurants nearby. Check in is quick, staff is friendly and breakfast is surprisingly good for a Tru. The room is comfortable with a great bed. It is a normal Tru size which is smaller than standard US hotel rooms. Shower pressure was weak(5th floor) Really enjoyed and would stay again BUT the walls are so thin, the people in the two neighbouring rooms were talking quietly from 6am onwards and I could hear them. Very bad noise insinuation. Other than that great! Rooms: The walls are so thin, sadly this is an issue and makes sleeping more difficult.

Walls are super thin. Hallway noises are loud. Staff allows anyone to request a card to a room number and happily just programs one and hands it to you. Neighbors small child was crying, but not loudly, however the walls were so thin that is felt like the child was IN the room crying. Had to bang on the wall to have them turn down the volume of the cartoons at 2am used to keep the child from crying. There is no sleeping past 8am at this hotel, the noises from the hallway and the doors that arent adjusted correctly that slam shut loudly will wake you up every few minutes. Forgot my access card upstairs when going to the car to get something. Went to the front desk after walking in from the parking lot and asked for a new card...got one. Never mentioned my name or showed ID to a staff person I had not talked with before.

If youre ever in pflugerville and need a quick place to stay. Tru is definitely a great option. They allow for keyles and contactles check in. So you can just walk in and straight to room. The hotel was well located in a safe area near lots of restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and the bed as soft and comfortable. The standard hotel breakfast was a convenient treat with pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs. Complimentary coffee and tea areserved 24/7. The staff is friendly and helpful. Came to visit a friend who was staying there. Me and my fiance spent a few hours here with our very good friend. It was around breakfast time, so our friend asked us to have breakfast with him. Because I had my service dog with me and didnt want to ruffle any feathers, my fiancé and myself took turns going inside to fix our plates. Then, all three of us sat outside on the patio to eat and continue to visit. After we ate, we walked the doggy and came back to the outdoor seated area. Our friend then had to go back upstairs to start the checkout process, so we were going to be leaving ourselves, but as we were getting ready to call for the Uber our phones were both dead or at 1% about to die. So we started to walk back towards the outside seated area so we could at least charge the phone up enough to order our Uber. Upon walking back, we were approached and DETAINED BY PFLUGERVILLE PD!! They stated that the hotel called and claimed that we were not supposed to be there, had come inside, gotten food, and they wanted us CRIMINALLY TRESPASSED!! I WAS MORTIFIED AND EXTREMELY IRATE, but I managed to keep my cool. I still, to this day, do not know what we had done wrong. That being said, I would never recommend this place to anyone EVER!

This was my first visit to Austin. The hotel is in the perfect spot safe and amongst plenty of shopping stores, restaurants and not far from The Domain. Right in the middle of everything, but still quietness that you need to relax. The staff was super friendly and pleasant. I especially enjoyed talking to the house keeping attendant Amanda she is as sweet as can be . Being a woman on a solo trip I felt really safe here for my 3 day stay. I would definitely use them again .Room was clean , cozy and simple. Many good restaurants to choose from in area. Safety: Very safe area. Close to so many stores in walking distance.

Unless you plan on staying one night then I highly recommend finding somewhere else. And do not check in during the day time... Chasity - Manager - is extremely disrespectful and has made the stay here at Tru absolutely miserable. If you plan on staying more than one night, then plan on paying more than you are told at the front desk because they are not organized whatsoever. William and Teray are very polite, along with Todd. However, I do not know how Chasity is in a management position... even the way she talks to her own employees is embarrassing to watch or see. And they are not straightforward about the taxes. I will never stay at a Tru hotel again. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Noteworthy details: IF YOURE ONLY STAYING ONE NIGHT THEN YOU WILL BE OKAY....but youll also probably have some extra charges to pay. They are not straightforward.

You cant imagine how much Tru by Hilton deserves the best 5 review a person can give. Imma try to give them the BEST!!! Ive been through so much, and Ive never even been to a hotel in my life! Not too long ago, I was homeless, but I didnt look homeless, I took very good care of myself, I had a job and everything with support from a lot of people who understood my situation, especially at work and my church I had money, and I discovered Tru by Hilton, because it wasnt too far of a walk from work. The first night I stayed I was super nervous because Ive never been to a hotel. I was like, What Do I Do Here? But the next day I looked into it and discovered they actually had quite a few wonderful things to do I didnt even know I could do. I absolutely loved it when I was finally able to get some laundry done, and enjoyed being able to jump in that pool to cool off in this absolutely lovely Texas heat. (Im hypothetically speaking, because I like to be optimistic. But, in all honesty its super HOT out there!) Anyways, I just love comfortable environment they had. I loved it sooo much, that I even extended my stay for two weeks, praying I might be able to afford it. And my prayers were answered and I was able to afford it. I want to give great great thanks to all the lovely and super awesome employees at Tru By Hilton. The second day, I even joined the Hilton honors, and even turned in an application to possibly get a job there, which I didnt here back from them but either way, the experience was the absolute best! I would absolutely LOVE to work in this environment, and show everyone how much Tru by Hilton has changed me, and helped me with getting out of the situation I was in. I cant thank them enough. This may not turn out to be their best 5 review. But in my opinion, I will always, always remember the experience they provided me in my time of trial. Thank you friends. If be super surprised if the owner responded to this extraordinary review, because its my first ever review. And Im very very proud and it. Rooms: The rooms are super duper comfortable. Almost a 5 star stay. An employee offered my family and I the opportunity to check-in early and the ability to see a larger room on the Home 2 side compared to the Tru by Hilton room we booked. This is a great opportunity. We were escorted up to the room on the Home 2 side to see if the larger room would worked better or keep what we have. The employee opened the door, we walked into the doorway, the room was dark but I could see a large dog cage. Yeah, this room was a no. She apologized and said the system had the room as open and available. Im thankful we didnt accept the room sight unseen. Walking into this room with my family and possibly a large dog, wouldve been an unsafe situation. We checked into our original reserved room. The rest of our stay was nice. I do wish breakfast went to 10am instead of 9am during the week day in the summer and holiday breaks. My kids finally slept pass 9am but I had to get up and grab something before all breakfast closed down.

We walked in and the woman at the desk was extremely rude and did not answer any questions. Guess welcoming guest wasnt her job. One of the elevators had caution tape to prevent use, but every time you needed an elevator the broke one came up and canceled the one that was supposed to be working and you would have to start over. We were told by the night staff that there were two places to get free breakfast in the hotel, but in the morning there was only one. We asked at the desk why the other wasnt open and his reply was it usually open and I dont know why its not. You have to have the room key to get to pool from inside of hotel. But can just walk in an unlocked gate from the outside. Hotel is NOT RECOMMENDED .

Even though we stayed for only one night, we loved this hotel. Thankfully, the pool was open to cool off and relax on a hot summer day. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was especially nice to have the ability to control the temperature with the digital thermostat. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had very good water pressure. In the lobby, they had snacks, frozen meals, soft drinks, and beer to purchase. Also, a lounge area with tvs, comfortable seating, and a pool table. Plenty of secure parking, friendly staff, and free breakfast!

We traveled from Louisiana on a family vacation. This was our first visit here and we definitely love the location. I absolutely love the smell when you enter the lobby of the hotel. Wish I knew what the fragrance was. If anybody would like to share... The staff was very friendly. The hotel was super clean which im a stickler when it comes to cleanliness. So they passed the test. The only thing I will add is a microwave and closet space and firmer pillows. Nearby activities: Everything was pretty much at arms reach... Tru was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Pflugerville. Its centered in a great location with Target just across the street and lots of restaurants near by. When you walk in the staff is welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The whole hotel is keep extremely clean. Don t let the 2 star hotel rating fool you. This is an excellent option for families. For just under $200 on Saturday before Memorial Day, we had a 2 queen size bed (the sheets were so soft I actually checked to see what brand they were) room with blackout roller blinds and no carpet (great for people with allergies), fixed headboards that allow you to move the bed (to prevent toddlers from rolling off the bed), and large bottles of toiletries and a shower door (! Most new hotels have forgone them, so annoying). I didn t get pictures but the breakfast was great (biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, pancakes & waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cottage cheese and strawberries, breads and pastries, even donuts.) We ll be back every time we visit Austin area.

10/10. My husband and I were in town and this is the Hilton we chose. This was actually our 1st time staying at a Tru, although, we always stay at a Hilton property. The night auditors were amazing, and I really appreciated them. The rooms were clean and they have some really good snacks in the sundries area! The breakfast was good and had plenty of options to eat. Everyone was helpful recommending food and attractions. I would def come back to stay again!

One big con: Soundproof in a room is not that great. You can hear TV noises and baby crying. If you want a peaceful night, bring your ear plugs. Overall: Good place to stay. Had to get a room last minute due to power outage during the winter storm. The staff was ready to serve guests like me who booked last minute. The facility looked pretty clean even though they didnt have on site maintenance team that night. Room was pretty clean. Didnt use breakfast but the snack bar looked pretty filled and stocked.

Amazing staff. Great value. My family stayed here when we lost power due to ice storms in 2023. The staff handled a completely full hotel during a crisis with grace and professionalism. Despite being g at capacity and nodoubt staff having to deal with the same issues as the rest of us, the hotel ran perfectly and smoothly. The only name I got was Kathy - she was great - but I am grateful to all the staff for their unfailing grace, friendliness, and professionalism. Hotel itself - clean well laid out rooms. Full size soaps mounted on walls, which I greatly prefer to messing with mini bottles - and its greener. Our standard 2 queen room had a mini fridge, no coffee maker or microwave, but there was a clean communal microwave in the lobby and complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. Lobby also has a pool table! Lobby was spacious and didnt feel cramped, even though, as stated, hotel was completely full. I worked remotely in lobby with no issues - ample seating and outlets. Pet friendly with extra fee. Super grateful since we were leaving a house with no power in freezing weather and of course had to bring the dog. Location is near a shopping center anchored by Target and Home Depot. Close to a water park. Easy access to toll road. Interstate not far (maybe 5, maybe 10 minutes to IH 35). Good for business travel or water park trips. Or emergencies :)

Staff was very rude during the day. Floors in room needed to be moped. Dirt everywhere. Bathroom was not very clean. Elevators were stinky and extremely dirty. Room was very humid. Asked for a late check out and was harassed on my checkout day and told that no one had granted me a late check out and that I had overstayed an hour. I specifically asked for late check out when I checked in as I work nights. The gentleman told me yes and even asked what time I wanted. He wrote it down in their binder. The lady upon check out seemed to be accusing me of lying and was extremely rude! Would not stay here again.

It was a really nice hotel, with awesome and very friendly staff. One of the best hotels Ive been too. The only issue that I did have with it is that theres no microwave in the room, which was terrible because I had to go all the way downstairs just to warm up my food. This caused me to waste food, which is never ideal. Thats why I gave it 4-stars. Besides that no complaints at all.

This was my second business trip that I stayed at Tru. First stayed at the Houston location and then Austin/Phlugerville. Very clean, friendly and safe! The complimentary breakfast was amazing with several healthy and tasty choices to start your day. The pool was relaxing after a busy day of meetings and the gym was very well equipped and clean! Okay hotel. Had stayed here about 2 months ago and had a wayyyyy better experience. This hotel merged with another Hilton brand, home2 and I guess some changes came with it. The AC in the room sucked, first of all. Apparently they have installed motion sensor thermostats that turn off when no ones moving. Forget going green, I like my room cold at night. Since you aint gonna be moving, it turns off constant. Really bothersome considering it didnt go lower than 68. Second, the breakfast was not as good either. Used to be a bigger selection that seems to have gotten cut for budget reasons. Staff was nice, room was clean. Guess thats all you can ask for, especially at this price point.

The hotel is new ish and the property itself isn t bad. It s a bit bare. We requested several times to refill soaps in the bathroom, and nothing was ever done. The bedrooms are small. It s really loud in the rooms. People are noisy and fight in the hallway. At night, it s so loud and drunk people room the hallways. It s really unsafe.
