There is a MAJOR ISSUE with this communitys water bill. During the sale process, the monthly HOA fee was quoted to be $155, which increased to $170 after an year (understandable), however, they recently increased the monthly HOA dues to $300 by adding a $130 water meter fee (actual water usage fee will be in addition to the $130 meter fee). This monthly water meter fee of $130 was NOT DISCLOSED during the sales process, and apparently, this is due to an error in how the communitys water meters were set up. Rather than correcting the error, Perry Homes, who controls the HOA, just passed the cost to homeowners. If you are considering a home here, ask about this $130 water meter fee on top of the $170 HOA fee! Apart from the above issue, the homes are built with good quality and modern designs, and the construction team is very responsive to even minor issues. If not for the shady bait and switch HOA practices by Perry Homes, this community is a great place.

Wouldn t recommend buying home in this community. Most of the home owners were promised by perry homes sales team that water utility bill is included in the HOA of 180$. But now perry homes backed out and added additional 180$ towards water utility, which made ~350$ of HOA every month which isn t worth for this community without any amenities.

We were under the impression we only owed $180 a month in HOA fees. Then HOA decided to tack on an extra $180/month for a utility bill . Would not recommend a home here unless you want to be nickel and dimed by the HOA

I recently visited the Perry Homes community at Old Town East in Plugerville and was quite impressed. The home designs and quality are amazing. The Sales Professionals Tim and Stefan were knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft. I felt that they were totally transparent and honest with me about what they had to offer in the buying process with Perry Homes, for me that is very refreshing to find in this real estate market today. I would recomend if you are looking for a new home in the Pflugerville area stop in and take a look at the Old Town East community and speak with Tim and Stefan you wont be disapointed.
