To whom this may concern, Tony Booth Day is an annual show that I started in Pearland, Texas 12 years ago without any assistance and advertising by word of mouth only. Since that time the show has grown by performers and attendance. This could not have happened without the help of Brazoria County Commissioners in designating the first Saturday in May of every year as Tony Booth Day, and the support of The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau started helping us approximately four years ago with their expertise. They have really helped to improve the event by helping us secure hotel rooms at four or five places at special rates, which has helped bring more people into our annual event. They have also used their resources to advertise for us, not only on their web pages, but on surrounding sites such as Houston, Alvin, Friendswood, Hobby area and the Texas Hill Country. Through this help and knowledge, the show has been expanded for several years from a one-day event to a two-day event. I want to thank Kim Sinistore, Tracy Rohrbacher, and Megan Flowers for all of their tremendous help and hard work in making Tony Booth Day a very successful event for the past 12 years; four of which Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau has been a part of. This department is one that Mayor Reid and the City of Pearland should be very proud of. Lynn Brown

5 Stars for Megan Flowers and Mayor Reid for their service to our family. We hosted our 2018 Richardson - Brown Family Reunion in Pearland and had a fabulous time. Megan reached out to me months prior to the reunion to provide assistance in locating venues and hotels. The Mayor provided a warm letter of greetings that was included in every members event schedule. And, although she was rushing off to leave on vacation, Megan packaged and delivered gifts for each family. If you are considering hosting an event in Pearland, I highly recommend you contact the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau and you might be lucky enough to get Megan! Thanks so much for a warm welcome.
