Peaceful trail to get my power walk in! 2 full laps is 3 miles. HOWEVER, if you go at 7 pm it gets busy with inconsiderate people with kids and their dogs. The trail is VERY NARROW and many people bring their whole family and block the trail.

Awesome trail. Our dogs love bird watching here and so do we lol. The place is kept so clean! We always see volunteers helping to maintain the trail clean. Please be aware not to go when it s dark since their are snakes.

I love this trail because it has a beautiful view of nature and a great gravel running trail. However, the downside is the horrible smell coming from the waste management building when the wind catches it so that s why I give it 3 stars rather than 5 stars. I usually run on the side away from the building.

Nice walk for me and my dog. Some random Doberman with no owner was running around, I guess he lived in a nearby house. He stayed his distance so I didn t care. The staff was doing some gardening or landscaping when I went, they were respectful by shutting off loud tools when my dog and I passed them. Very nice location.

Dog friendly, lots to see! This trail goes around some ponds in the middle of the property where you can see tons of our wild birds. Very enjoyable! Walking trails are nice and wide.

Good place to walk and jog. The trails curve around two huge ponds with trees and birds. There are no lights along the trails so its best to visit during daylight. There is a restroom and water fountain on-site in the nature center building near the parking lot. Wear shoes and socks if you are going to walk or jog. The trails are covered with tiny gravel and it can get into your shoes after a few laps. I would advise against wearing sandals on these trails. Have a good day.

Nice walking trail with gravel instead of concrete which is nicer for the pup when it s hot out. You can walk around both ponds which is about 1.5 miles or there s a path that goes between them if you want a shorter walk.

I ve been coming here for years, it s perfect for a run. Lots of birds and beautiful views. Also a good spot for fishing or even a picnic. Only downside is when you go through the side right behind the recycling center it smells.

Love this trail close to the house. Walk, run or bike. Plenty of room with great opportunities to see birds and other wildlife. See your neighbors at a distance in these times of course. Bicycle repair and air station. Water for the pups. Definitely and enjoyable stroll. Have fun. FYI. This was in the fall not January. Will post Jan later

Fantastic for a sunset walk. If the wind is out of the north visit the Pearland Tree Trail and bat bridge then walk the east pond loop.

Had a great run but I always wish the city of Pearland would cork the trail so that its easier for runners like myself who appreciate shock absorption of the cork as your foot hits the trail. Otherwise it feels good to be outdoors.

Great park, but everytime I go fishing there, there is always yelling that there is no fishing allowed. But yet there are signs of what types of fish that are stocked.

I originally wanted to go to Oyster Creek, but didnt want to make the drive so I searched up this random trail nearby. Its not as scenic as Id hoped and there arent any trees.. but this is somewhere Id definitely come again for an exercise walk and to just feel PEACEFUL. It circles around like the number 8, so after an hour of walking, I became somewhat bored of it. There are a few that walk their dogs (off leash) but they dont bother you at all (Im an animal lover, so I WANTED the dogs to run to me like they knew me, but that didnt happen). I went on a Wednesday around 12 and there werent many people there. Probably 10 for the hour that I was there.. All in all, I enjoyed my walk and will be going back often!

Nice quite walking and running trail. The trail around both lakes is pretty long so you can get in a great workout. Lots of birds to be seen. The Nature Center has a very nice facility with public restrooms inside.

I love this place in the summer evenings. I can go for a walk around the lake +watch all the water fowel come land on the trees and banks of the many islands, or land in the beautiful water to have a last evening snack or take a bird bath. The chorus of their bird call sounds is a symphony all of its own. Or I can bring a folding chair + sit watching the sunset with all the birds coming in to roost for the oncoming blessed night. A so very peaceful magical setting to find in the big metropolis of Houston/Pearland.

Nice overall because the ducks and other birds by the water make it nice. But I wish there were more trees around the park and within the park itself. Specially towards the street.

Great gravel trail around a man made lake. So many birds and wildlife to watch while making your way around the approximate 1.5mile course. On the weekends and well days during business hours, a nice little building with educational exhibits including Han and Chewy, the resident gators. Coupled with nice facilities and a water bottle rebuilding station, its a nice place to walk, run or cycle Solo or with the whole crew!

Great place for a walk(/ride/run if so inclined) while bird-watching! Nice assortment of aquatic birds that increases during migration periods. Pathways are very smooth and level for those needing an even walking surface, but walking closer (downhill) to water to get close-up snaps of birds can be a bit less even (& steep in places).
