If you re still looking for a family law lawyer look no further. Attorney Brenda is the best!! She s very informative, understanding, caring and very direct. She cares for her clients and works hard for each case. Even though my case was suppose to be easy, it was ridiculously delayed by other party. I was so frustrated and was ready to give up, when Brenda says don t worry I got you believe her! I would get a message with her taking things further to expedite my case. She comes ready and will always prepare you for what might happen and what might not happen but trust she will fight for you. Again I say she is the best! I highly recommend DeRouen Law Firm!

I was very fortunate to have been referred to this staff by a close friend. Everything he said about the recommendation was spot. The DeRouen Law Firm took on probably one of the nastiest custody cases that took a draining 2yrs but it was worth every penny spent. They handled my case with pride and dignity. They were passionate and resilient in getting the results I wanted as well as getting my family everything we asked for. I used this firm to provide estate planning services! The ease to have this completed was absolutely phenomenal. They were very supportive of my requests and made sure that I covered all my bases. There were many items that I didn t think to place into the documents and they helped advise me in the right direction along with ensuring my loved ones will be taken care of. Everything is good until you pay your retainer deposit. Staff is rude and unprofessional when you are able to get them on the phone. They tell you things then do something totally different. Everyone is pointing at each other when there s miscommunication. Attorney talks to you any kind of way because there s not much you can do once you re locked in. Many cases of not communicating and charges with no warnings. I went to court once unrepresented while she was representing me. She didn t show. I had a hell of an experience. But hey, do what you want. Support your people.

Very professional staff from the legal assistants to the lawyers. The staff made me feel very comfortable and there were pandemic protocols in place. I was well informed by Attorney DeRouen of the options I had as a father regarding the well being of my kids. I had talked to multiple Beauty Salon Lawyers whom I felt were not dedicated to their craft or potential clients, just ready to take money without a face to face meeting. I felt rushed and pressured by those type of lawyers. During the consultation with Attorney DeRouen I was not pressured for money or to sign up for services. I left the office feeling reassured that whatever decision I made I had the right legal representation on my side. I called and explained my situation to the secretary (last month) and then I was told a meeting would be set up by zoom. Well I had a previous court hearing and a sick child that day so I missed the zoom meeting. I tried to reschedule for the following day and was immediately declined. The phone was hung up in my face and no one ever explained why I was not given any assistance and I was devastated. I was told that my case would be done pro Bono on the account of a referral from another lawyer and the disappointment was detrimental to my case. I hate I experienced that especially at a time when I needed representation.

I was on deferred probation and was charged with a new felony and hired Brenda as an attorney on both cases. From the beginning she told me there was no guarantees but she would do whatever it took to get my charges dismissed. I absolutely recommend Brenda!! Brenda handled my divorce case with grace. I am so grateful to have had her as my lawyer. When my uncontested divorce had a wrench thrown in it by the judge I needed professional help. An associate of mine told me about Brenda. I reached out to Brenda for a consult and she gladly took my call the same day and gave me her legal advise. After the consult, I was impressed and asked her if she could represent me in my case and to my surprise she hopped right on board. She even signed onto my child support case, which she didnt have to do, but chose to do in order to help me get my divorce settled. She collaborated with the OAG and got it done. This woman is amazing ! I m a young minority male in college . I was being young and dumb and got myself into trouble my mistake had me facing a felony. I was going to be applying to medical school next year and I thought my life long dream of becoming a psychiatrist was ruined, My mom discovered Attorney DeRouen out of state in Arizona via google , ( I am a Houston resident) after one phone call my parents were assured Attorney DeRouen would be the attorney we would be hiring for my case .
