37$ for these portions sizes is ridiculous, these people are greedy money hungry people. The little fat face girl in there was rude and just irritated me more when she was trying to justify why the portion is small. Hope she s see this lol girl needs to go to the gym instead of trying to be greedy over the portion sizes.

A barbeque place of all time.. Nothing particularly stood out as knock your socks off. Got a two meat plate combo everything was just regular BBQ of average quality not bad but nothing that will blow you away for 22 ish dollars. Though their BBQ sauce is a bit watery and weak.

The food was lacking, brisket was ok, the ribs really dry. The potato salad was lacking salt as were the jalapeño beans. The soda machine was low on carbonation, all the sodas were flat, I told the reps behind the counter. Went back to my seat then when finished I asked for to go plate and the lady gave me an attitude look. We decided to eat in the bar area to watch the game, it smelled like sewer in that part of the restaurant. Overall not the best experience. Definitely NEVER visiting this place again!!

Ive been living in the area for 9 years now and thought Id give them a try. Brisket is dry hard and sliced with the grain of the meat which made it like I was eating string cheese. Tomato sauce bbq sauce was bland and not tasty at all. I was so disappointed.

I was recommended by a friend. Never again will I visit this place for food. The rib selection was horrible (small and tough). My dad couldnt even eat them. Brisket was only just OK, nothing special. Sides were OK. I thought the price was good until I visited Burns BBQ the following week, and for a couple dollars more, I was able to make 2-3 meals out of it. After I told my friend about his preference in BBQ, he then stated that he only gets the potatoes with 2 meats when he go there.

The food itself was good. The problem lies with the bbq sauce. It Is Not bbq sauce, it tastes more like a chili base and ruins the flavor of the meat. I had to take the meat home and eat it with real bbq sauce.

Went in on a Saturday night. Only a couple people were eating in which was a little strange I thought. Had the 2 meat plate (chicken and brisket) with mac n cheese and potato salad. The sides were decent, and so was the chicken. And the brisket? I ve had better. I m surprised nobody else is talking about the bbq sauce because it was the complete opposite of what I was expecting. It tasted more like tomato soup than bbq sauce!

Good food Terrible service girls up front threw away all our drinks and my babys cake he was eating for the Astros games And I kindly asked them to replace his cake they threw away they offered him something else he didnt have and didnt offer to replace our drinks I understand they closed however the game was still going on I assumed they was still open because the other side where the bar is was still open and we went outside to smoke they just laughed in my face and said I can order drinks at the bar / pay for them. Terrible Attitude terrible way to treat Customers.

Virginia, the cashier is very racist. I went to pick up an order for my elderly grandparents shortly after calling 10 minutes prior to ask if the order was ready & I was told it was. I gave the name on the order and told her what was in the order and she walked away and ignored me as I was talking. As I stood there waiting for someone to help the meat butcher came and finally offered to help After waiting 15-20 minutes. Finally they handed me a pan that had my order with no bag, bbq sauce or anything. I am very Disappointed in this experience I had at this establishment today and would not recommend it to anyone. I hope management can redirect the customer service of their cashier as she is a very poor representation of the company.

Although Im not a big brisket fan, I always judge the quality of BBQ restaurants by their brisket. Many, many times BBQ joints have hard dry brisket. Not at Skeets! I didnt even need a knife. I ordered the 2 combo plate with brisket, sausage, potato salad, and mac and cheese. There wasnt a spec of food left on my plate when I was done. Prices were very reasonable as well! You cant go wrong with Skeets!

The chop beef sandwich is alright, the meat is a little undercooked and no flavor. I don t know what kind of bun they use but there are some small grains on the outside of the bun and I don t like it. Plain bun will do much better. The barbecue sauce is a no go please change it.

The coleslaw was warm and I wasn t expecting that I thought it would be cold. The Turkey breast was dry/thick it almost tasted like the deli sandwich except meat was thick. It s just not the Turkey breast meat you expect from a bbq place. I expected a smoked Turkey breast that s moist and this wasn t it. I m very disappointed. I had to drown my meat in hot sauce to finish it.

I just want to say that this was at the top of my list of favorite BBQ s and there are many places I have been too in my travels. ****Update: I forgot to mention, incidentally the prices online are lower than whats in the restaurant. So, I called back the next day to inform them of how displeased I was with my order and the price. They did provide me new stuffed potatoe that tasted better than the previous one, but it was not anything to write home about. On scale from 1-10, Id give it a 4. As for the price difference, I was told to call the manager but I never did because it was too much work. Again, after what I went through, I still wont patronize this restaurant again, its just not worth it, unless of course its taken over by new management, then I might consider. Dont waste your time or money! I went to this place twice and both times I was disappointed. The last visit I ordered the loaded baked potatoe and it tasted stale, like the potato had been cooked earlier in the day and reheated. The barbecue sauce was bland, and the peach cobbler was nothing but dough sprinkled with cinnamon. I ended up throwing it all away! I will never go back!

Ordered a three meat combo plate with side of green beans and coleslaw. Meats were brisket, pork and Sausage. Restaurant was clean Service was fast but not friendly or inviting Meats, brisket was cold, thin and tastless, bbq sauce was good. Sausage was good but it preflavoured so hard to get wrong Pork was oily and tasted too much cinnamon strange flavour. Green beans were inedible. Tried this place a couple weeks ago mid day and was served the best sliced beef sandwich I have had in YEARS. The onion bun was a great touch. The bread was just right, but the brisket . AWESOME! The sauce is incredibly delicious! Decided to try it again today and it was EXCELLENT AGAIN! Served hot and sliced right in front of you. Great people, great food I would give 6 stars if I could! Also, I got a small order of pork ribs and they were very tasty and falling off the bone! Not over cooked but with just the right amount of bbq. These great folks know how to bbq!! Once upon a time, this BBQ joint was great. The customer service has never been good but the food was. The online menu says that a Chopped Beef/Brisket Sandwich is $4.75. I just placed a phone order for 4 sandwiches and the total when I paid was $37.89... That is $8.50 per sandwich. I called to speak with the manager and he had no explanation as to why the prices were different. I then asked when the owner would be in. The Manager said he didnt know. The best advice I can give is to avoid this place. The food today was not great. Very bland. Just not the same as it used to be.

Aside from the food being lightly seasoned and mediocre at best, the service was HORRIBLE! We had just left the cemetery from memorializing our mother and came to have dinner together as a family. Upon walking into the almost empty restaurant, the staff quickly looked at us as though it was a problem to have a large group. Nevertheless we organized ourselves by families and ordered our food. After arguing with the staff about an incorrectly made stuffed baked potato we finished ordering and sat to eat. Unfortunately my younger brother had not ordered and I went to the counter only for the manager to blatantly roll his eyes. I told him that at not point did we not pay for our $200+ meal order nor did we get a discount, therefore I was confused as to why he was so upset to clearly exhale and roll his eyes when I came to order. As a well educated citizen that actually contributes to society, me nor my family will be back at this establishment again. When I attempted to ask for his name, the waitress told me she didnt understand enough English to tell me but he was the manager and that there was no one else I could speak to.

They put cold brisket on top of a hot baked potato, the bbq sauce has pork in it, when I I informed them the food was cold they laughed when I asked them to heat it up. This place needs a negative star!! The food was horrible!! The brisket had no flavor..I dont even think its smoked.. even the barbeque sauce didnt taste like barbeque sauce. My husband and I tasted that food and threw it out and left. Now we have wasted $40 because we couldnt even stomach the food and it had a bad smell. So now we are back out looking for food. My husband and I are visiting and didnt know you have to go to them to place your order. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. The brisket was Flavorless so I thought it could be somewhat ok if I added bbq sauce, WORST bbq sauce ever, I noticed it was really watery so I added a little bit to my sandwich, it had NO FLAVOR at this point I couldnt believe it so I ended pouring more to the sandwich which made it even worse, the bread in my sandwich absorbed all the watered down sauce so it was completely soggy I had to removed it, the only thing with flavor was the ketchup on my fries, they have no idea what BBQ is, so disappointed this is the worst BBQ place I have ever been to. If could give this place zero stars I would.

Rude staff. Stale bread. Lots of fat in my packed pound of brisket to go. Sauce was good but really what they charge is crazy. Most BBQ places give you extra sauce. Why are they so unhappy there? Work on your customer service please! Wont go back.

Great BBQ... we purchased the chop beef sandwich, the beef was perfectly cooked/smoked and plenty of it...and with the BBQ sauce, which was a lite blend which complained the beef.

I ve always loved Skeets BBQ, and I crave it on the regular! The food tastes just as good as it did 18 years ago when I came as a child! Stuffed potato with chopped beef is my favorite order, but I also recommend buying the meat by the pound to enjoy at home for a breakfast scramble/sandwich! Every bartender working here is knowledgeable, fast, and a great personality. Bartender doesn t arrive until 4pm, so you can only order bottled beer if you wanted to drink. I highly recommend this place for evening drinks or for family dinner!

First time here was craving bbq and thought I give it a try. Ordered three meat plate came with two sides and homemade jalapeno cheese bread. Also ordered half pound pork ribs (bit of a carnivore). The aesthetic of the place was nice just like any other bbq place they had covid-19 boundaries in place which was cool. The lady preparing my food kinda quickly threw everything together (Ill give it to her they where closing). The food is mediocre at best not much flavor, ribs were fatty, chicken skin was pale, sausage kinda tough. The green beans where decent and the Texas rice (their take on jambalaya) was bland. No real flavor profile. The bbq sauce Im assuming homemade was ok and the bread was just bread to me. I spent around 27.00 for just ok. They have pool tables I may consider going back just to play some games and have some drinks spoke to the guy he said they closed at 2 am but they where closing at 9:30pm not sure what that was about but Ive had better food at Old Hickory Inn.

Had the chopped beef sandwich. The bbq brisket was delicious.not too crazy about the sauce. Thirsty Thursdays had good drink special including $4 wells and $10/$9 beer pitchers. Wasnt the best drink bust good overall

Good food, the bbq restaurant part was very good about following social distancing. The connected bar wasnt following any of it other than blocked off tables. All Bartenders had no masks. Almost nobody in the bar wearing any either.
