This place is great if you like a lot of food inside your tortilla or torta; they have mastered it. I have ordered tortas, chicken fajita tacos, and bacon & egg breakfast taco. I would order them again. Parking: Parking needs road work so be careful if youre in a car

This experience was really bad first of I go in asking for tamale spicy they only had one that only had 5 in it witch she only gave me 1.00 of witch was ok I guess but when I get home these were not the ones they sell furring the day I also ordered a small menudo and it was 12.50 . This menudo was not even worth 2.00 it was very chewy . If you guys as a restaurant that will be charging high prices then leave up to it. This place has really gone down hill . Especially when you have about five or six people waiting to serve and you wait for about almost 7 to 8 minutes before somebody responds to you

I love the food. I just never know how much I m going to be charged. I get the same exact two tacos every single time (spicy puerco) other than adding beans at times. Today they were $3.75 each with NO beans. A week ago I bought one with beans and one without and my total was $6.50. I also like to buy a side salsa and last time (2 weeks ago) they charged me $2.50 today it was $6.50 for the same side green salsa. I really am confused. It s not a small change it s a big change. I would appreciate the same price so I know how most I ll be spending and it s not a surprise.

I went and purchased 2 dozen of pork tamales and was excited to taste them. I got home and was very disappointed because the tamale was ALL MASA. There was hardly any meat at all just rolled up masa. Went for breakfast. Had 1 mexican potato taco & 1 barbacoa taco. It was all just OK. The flour tortillas could have been not only warmer but more ......? They were done , but more like what I would take out of a package at home , not the nice warm ,char marking I expect out of a restaurant. The mexican ( had onions and bell peppers) were sad , potatoes cooked but not crisp at all. The barbacoa was very good, and the saving grace of my meal. I wanted some basic salsa because the hot sauce in the bottles was just a bit warm for me. I am from Texas and have grown up eating mexican food , but with regular salsa. The server was very busy ,but very nice , I did ask for more water and more ice , and I did finally get more water, no ice.

The breakfast tacos are expensive 4 dollars each. The change prices depending on who you are. For the price of one La Montana you can get 2. At 7 eleven you can get two for price of one, Ranchito the same 2 for price of one. Even all the taco trucks along spencer are less expensive. I do not mind capitalism that is what this country was founded on , but price gouging is not.

The name of the restaurant is a little misleading. It is in da t a full seating restaurant with a full menu. I did buy tamales and they were very good. The salsas are tasty and very authentic. I also tried the chicharrón and steak gorditas and they were delicious as well. Service was quick and courteous. Overall, I was impressed and will be back to try more.

The spicy pork is delicious and the Pappas with sausage too. But, beware of the charging the prices are always different when I go and the charge for the same tacos same amount ALWAYS fluctuates. Im pretty sure they have homemade corn tortillas here and they were amazing!! I personally havent had the tamales. They were sold out both time I tried getting some. We had breakfast and the food was pretty good. Had a been and cheese taco, and a potato, beans and cheese taco. I personally like sharp/mild cheddar or white cheese in my tacos, their yellow cheese is American I believe. We had ordered one chicken and one fajita torta a few weeks back, through the take out line, however the fajita looked a little greasy, maybe it was in meat juices? The chicken was for my picky son and it had onions and bell pepper mixed with the chicken. It wasnt bad, I just was not expecting it to look that way. lol I am used to just regular small bits of fajita meat and plain chicken. Ill have to try more food options next time we go.

The carne guisada was very good. The reason for 3 stars is we received a menu and the prices were very different than what we were charged. The menu says 1.99 for meat taco and we were charged 3.50 and the gordita was $7. Which menu shows $6 for gordita rice and beans. I didnt receive any rice or beans. They stated the rice and beans comes in the gordita but there was no rice or beans in the gordita either. When I bring up the prices they said well thats what people pay here. In the end we decided we wanted to buy a dozen tamales. The price listed as soon as u walk in says $14 for a dozen. They said thats only frozen. Tamales are $18 a dozen. Which is fine. Just the way she said it. FROZEN! Good food but we will not be returning.

I ordered two dozen tamales one pork one spicy pork and the price came out to $35 thats way overpriced for tamales they make and freeze for the next day when I used to come here the tamales used to be 9.95 a dozen when I asked about it they said that the price of me went up but not that much, so on top of that I get home and realize that most of the tamales are filled with whole beans as fillers, so even though theyre charging more for the price of meat going up theyre still using more fillers than any other restaurant, will not go back there again

The spices are not sparsely scattered around the tamales and the tamales are kind of small. So apparently the Masa is made with all of the spices in it. Some people like to make it to where they put a couple of dashes of spices and there you go and it tastes pretty good and the Masa meat ratio is all right but they are small. I wouldnt say these are the best I had and the customer service was horrible.
