The staff are very friendly. Always have call in orders out on time. The food is great rather it be dine-in or take-out. I eat there about once a week for the past year. I do not have any complaints. I recommend giving it a try.

I was down here in Odessa working and had some late nights. The big bosses bought the crew a bunch of tamales and in my opinion were the best Ive ever had. And Ive had home made where we cooked the pigs head in the ground. Maybe it was a toss up between the two but they are well worth checking them out. As far as the rest of their food I couldnt say, but seems like they know what theyre doing. The green tamales had just enough bite by themselves without any sauce. They also will ship you frozen tamales right to your door! Where ever you are.

Mari keeps a clean kitchen and friendly staff. Ive been eating here since they opened. They have order ahead and drive thru pickup, fast pickup times in the restaurant and above all else delicious food, great portion sizes and reasonable prices. Ive eaten just about everything they serve and Ive never been disappointed. They sell locally sourced salsa and other food items as well as branded shirts and other swag, Mexican sodas, cookies and other snacks. Its a small place but comfortable seating at high tables is available. A favorite place to me for sure. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp in front.

Bought 2 dozen tamales this weekend. 1 red, 1 green. They had a great taste, but I had to throw alot of the masa away. Too damn dry. The filling literally came apart from the masa (isnt supposed to if fresh) so Im giving them 2 stars. Need fresh and moist tamales.

This is the first time Ive tried this place (Literally 30 mins ago) and I gotta say the food is amazing! The tamales are bulky and the menudo has amazing flavor! Its a tiny place and only has about 4 tables that are more like bar tables so its crammed but it is a nice place. Ill definitely be going back!

The place is in a great location it s a nice building although dining area is small the kitchen takes up most of their space from the looks of it. I ordered 2 dozen of their spiciest tamales honestly not impressed, aside from being in a mid level of spicy they where real dry and caked up with masa (the mix that covers the meat) nearly no meat and it was shredded meat if I remember correctly. From the looks of it they are most likely not hand made or homemade as they say. Long review short, nice ambiance clean looking tamales are not great.I m sure they have more variety of foods, until then this is my review.

So disappointed! Picadillo tasted like can meat . I think bcuz it s been refrigerated and reheated too many times. Menu said made with hatch Chile .. I think I might have seen something green, maybe that was the hatch? Never saw anything green resembling green chile. Rice was undercooked hard and bland. Maybe try adding onions, garlic, more tomato sauce bcuz some rice grains were white while others were red from the tomato sauce. No flavor whatsoever. So disappointed bcuz the menu description made me crave it. We ended up going to pickup burgers and will most likely trash the picadillo and rice. The beans were the bomb tho!

Love La Norteña! Both locations are great. We use the Odessa one more but Pecos is the one that got us hooked. Resturant is clean and smells wonderful at each visit. Food is always delicious and hot! The staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful. My only issue is they close early (3pm) but understandable since they open so early.
