Nice little place to walk and take out the family. I wouldnt suggest this place if youre looking to train for long distance running. Its more for beginners who plan to do more walking since the sidewalks are a little narrow and the distance is 0.60 miles per lap. Nonetheless, nice little park!

It is always very relaxing to visit! Friendly people, great scenery, usually clean! Even the neighbors walk around and help pick up, the visitors need to learn from that and stop leaving trash!

Attended a Paint the Park event for honoring cancer survivors and their caretakers as well as honoring those who have already passed. The City of Odessa did a great job of setting up for this event.

Took my grandbaby to feed the ducks, she loved it. There were turtles as well. Walked the trail & enjoyed the scenery. Dog-friendliness: Wish there was more shaded areas, but the fact that people can bring their pets is nice.

We had a pleasant time we had a walk early on Sunday of Easter 2023 . This is our spot where me and my husband and kids will have long walks and discuss a lot of our dreams and discuss them. Like one day buying the last house on the corner facing Wells Fargos Bank its a dream but we pray that God can one day give us the opportunity to buy it, like having the right job, and that we get a good realtor. But 1st all we dont now if it is for sale you can see no one lives there but it doesnt mean its for sale

The pond is cleaned I seen turtles resting on rocks more of those should be in the water I seen a great blue hearing bird beautiful but needs a mate still some trash around the corners but alot better than before. I miss the us flags this pond brings peace when exercising best spot in Odessa.

This place is incredible to visit with family, or for people who enjoy running outdoors. It is very clean and it is a pleasure to see the ducks and swans that live in the lake. It is advisable to park behind the bank to have space because the other side is a residential area and it is inconvenient for the families who live there.

Nice well kept place with ducks and trees. This water is not for fishing or swimming but here in the desert it is still welcome. Good place for walking nearly a half mile around. Night lights and trash cans also but closes at @11 pm.

Its sad to see how some individuals can be so nasty and gross! I stopped going to this place, its always filled with trash everywhere you look, I feel sad for the poor ducks and turtles. The water pumps are always broken, people pay taxes and Im sure a lot goes to the parks, they should have enough money to repair these pumps.

Decent park overall. The lap distance of the track is enough that four or five times around at pace should burn a fair number of calories. The park gets demerits, however, for the all the mud and other flood detritus that covers roughly half of the walkway. Clearly, the lake often overspreads its banks and deposits a significant volume of filth on the concrete of the oval. One wonders why the city isn t more diligent about maintenance. The park would be so much nicer if only some much-needed clean up was performed. The mud, sludge, and grime is an appreciable detraction from what is otherwise a very pleasant park.

Incredible park and man made lake. Best place to walk your dogs and has cool statues. It is calming and fun to feed the wildlife as well. It can be hard to get parking however especially during lunch hour. If anyone is stopping at Odessa I would advise them to check the park out.
