I love the Cowboy Pie! I hardly ever crave anything BBQ or with BBQ sauce but I will definitely drive over for this one. A full order is too big so depending if Im hungry or not I may get either the 1/2 or 1/4 order. You cant see the Fritos layered underneath this deliciousness. My huge pile of Fritos is under my huge pile of beans and brisket. My picture serves this no justice.

Wonderful BBQ joint just out of the way!! Read reviews and decided to give it a whirl. What a quaint, local restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The cowboy pie was AMAZING! And the German potato salad was equally delicious. Give them a taste and you won t be disappointed.

We have The Rose brisket and smoked sausage fairly often and the brisket is by far the best around! The ribeyes are wonderful!! They have burgers only on Tuesday and Thursday, which we hadn t tried until this past Thursday. Best burgers we ve had anywhere!!! The patties are 1/2# and cooked perfectly. The veggies and pickles were fresh and crisp. No soggy burger!!! Perfectly delicious!!!! Thank you to The Rose family

Wonderful family owned and run BBQ place! We shared the cowboy pie between the two of us with enough left over for another meal for both of us! But, we couldn t leave it at that. We had to get a whole family meal to-go with a pound of chopped brisket, a whole pint of the German Potato salad and dessert. Fawn was super helpful and let us get all the beans, pickles, jalapeños, and onions on the side.

12/30/2021: I ordered the half order of Cowboy Pie and wow it was absolutely amazing and so fresh. It was a generous portion of food that tasted phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had the banana pudding for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. This is a must try BBQ restaurant in Odessa.

Don t let the exterior turn you away; this place has great food & great customer service. Nobody hurries you at the drive-thru, & I greatly appreciate it! Best sweet tea anywhere, awesome German potato salad, fresh & delicious Cole slaw- none of that vinegar flavored junk! We had the marbled brisket & it was very tender & good. The Turkey wasn t the greatest but everything else made up for that. Topped off with yummy Texas toast.

Stopped there on my way to Dallas airport with my family. Food was awesome, my kids loved the sausage and German potatoes and they are picky eaters. BEST BBQ in town!!! Like being at your dads or uncles who spent years perfecting his reciepe. This is a family owned place with a great woman running it. So much better than jack jordans dickies and johnnys. Sorry guys this woman blows yall out the water. My kids all finished their plates with no complaining. The portions are big and filling. The cobbler was more fruit than crust. Unlike most places where its all crust to save money. Its a small place with a lot of heart. Go early cause she will run out of her german potato salad. All 6 members of my family left full and satisfied begging to come back soon to try more. She should be on diner drive ins and dives cause wow!!
