We used Josys for catering twice this month. And it was PERFECT! Delivered everything prior to our meal time.. and everything was prepped perfectly. The staff was professional and very courteous. Great place for happy hour! I saw Josy s bar while running errands...This place is the quintessential neighborhood dive bar. The patio is really spacious and has plenty of seating. Easy parking and very friendly staff, who remember their regulars drinks! A wonderful spot for lunch or drinks after work- happy hour specials & complimentary snacks too! The TV set up will be great for football season. Also, the customers are super friendly! This is a small town kinda place that everyone talks & shares stories! A real place for people to come together!

Really wanted to like this place but between portion sizes, slow service and taking forever to get our food, and my 2 year old getting hers after everyone else was done and her chicken not being cooked all the way, we definitely wont be back. Only 3 tables and we were there for 2 hours because they were more worried about door dash

Staff was friendly and it was a nice looking and clean restuarant. The food is what I mainly had an issue with. Chicken fried chicken is a chicken tender with gravy on it. $10. Thankfully I got a baked potato, it was bigger than the chicken strip I got. Loaded with butter, sour cream, dried(or old) chives and store bought bacon bits. Which is weird because they have a lot of burgers, some of which come with bacon. You would think it would be cheaper to just make your own bacon bits but hey whatever. Just odd choices here.

Josys has been a favorite of mine for a few years. Best burgers in town and fries made from a fresh potato. Other dishes are also good. But Im only giving 4 stars because the fries went downhill. Even with me specifying to cook the fries until theyre crispy, half the time they still come out undercooked. Very disappointing since the fries used to be 5 star perfect every time.

This is mine and my husbands go to. We love josies. There isnt a better resturant with good servi e and beer with a family atmosphere, best in town. Every where else is cutting portions and buying lower quality product.not josies. They still serve amazing food and great portions, fair not ridiculous. First time coming here. Service was good very nice and friendly waitress. I wanted to order chicken fried steak but I wanted mashed potatoes as a side but they didnt have any but they did have home cut fries, that confused me cause if you have potatoes for fries you should be able to have some for mashed potatoes..but oh well. My husband ordered a fried fish sandwich but the batter to fish ratio was not good, more batter than fish, the onion rings were so so. I may give it another try. I ended up ordering the coconut shrimp, not much of a coconut flavor and the coleslaw was really bland, but like I said I may try it again and maybe the comments will be different.

I was there on Saturday 3/12/22 for the first time. I enjoyed the food very much but to top this five stars off was the service! From being seated and throughout my meal I noticed that they seemed short staffed, however that didn t stop us from receiving some excellent service. Yes Waitress was friendly, down to earth and attentive all while handling so many other tables. The mixed grilled vegetables were probably my favorite although the entire meal was good. Will definitely be going back!

The food is not bad and I like the atmosphere and how clean the place is.. the reason for only 3 stars its because our waitress did not followed instructions on my food and also the drinks and food took long enough to get to our table considering that there was only 3 busy tables at the time. BEST chicken fried steak in Odessa! The jalapeno gravy is the bomb. The fire sticks and loaded potato skins are incredible. The grilled catfish is so tasty, and the jalapeno hush puppies rock. Hands down THE BEST MOST PERFECTLY COOKED STEAKS IN THE CITY. The wait staff are all super awesome, and they all make amazing drinks. The beer is always cold and the atmosphere always cozy and inviting. The owners B & Jay are very attentive, they love their staff and their guests and it shows. GO SEE THEM AT JOSYS! best little hidden secret in town.

Surprisingly as small as a restaurant as this place is, the food is really good. Its a bit pricey Ill say but this odessa were living in, so you work with what you got.... Or starve. The waitresses are friendly and they all work as bar tender also. If you perfer you can eat on their patio or inside. They open up at 11am and normally close at 9m Mon through Thurs. On the weekends they close at 10pm...... Just in time to hit the bar thats on the corner of the lot. Lol

This place is awesome. The bacon cheeseburger was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection with spectacular seasoning. One of the best burgers in town and the dessert was incredible as well. I dined at Josys Grill. I got the mango fish tacos lunch special with onion rings for my side, I added a bake potato, and I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri. As much as I like eating mangos, these tacos werent good to me. I tried to force myself to eat them because I dont like wasting my money. The tortillas wasnt good to me. The plate came with 2 tacos, I ate one and took a small bite of the other one. The daiquiri was bland/bitter, I drank 1 inch from the rim of the glass. The loaded baked potato and onion rings were SUPERB . That was my first and most likely last time going there. I drove all the way from Midland to Odessa in search of the perfect fish tacos. Next stop gonna be Triple Threat and Abuelos.
