Meal was $22, served 4 small scallops that were not tasty, 8 spears of asparagus that were all at least half woodsy, 2 pieces of garlic toast that were low in flavor as well. Other meal was shrimp and sausage. Seasoning appeared to be poured on cayenne pepper and thats it. This was $22+ as well. Wont return or recommend

Weve been to this location many times over the years when it was Chilis and From Across the Pond) but the remodel for King Crab is very nice. They really opened up the space inside. The food was wonderful, I had the combination basket of fried catfish and fried shrimp, both delicious. The French fries were hot and crispy. My partner had the co.bination basket as well but fried shrimp and fried oysters and was very pleased. He also had a side order of a hard boiled egg which came with a spicy sauce which he said was very good. The amount of food was perfect as well, we were both comfortably full after eating. My basket had two fillets and 5 shrimp. Definitely going again to try some of the other offerings.

Food was at room temperature, and you know seafood boil means it needs to be hot had a cold buttery taste. Appetizers arrived after food and was at room temperature maybe even cold no flavor whatsoever egg rolls were extremely dry. Had a table of six five adults and two kids it was two different tickets and was charged for a tip of $28 which waiter didnt even deserve it to begin with. never again and tes took more then half the food just cajse we paid ove 200 for it and didnt even eat it.

Went with my husband for a date night dinner on a Wednesday evening. We were one of only four tables of guests. Not sure if it is always that slow or if they re being impacted by the construction on the road the entire street has been in flux for quite a while now. We ordered crab legs and shrimp, sausage and potatoes, with their house seasoning. Love that you re able to pick the level of heat (my husband doesn t do well with spicy food but I love it!) and everything was very flavorful. We ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, that was probably the only part of our meal I was not impressed with as it was a bit pricey for about 6 shrimp and cocktail sauce. We paid extra to have the heads off the shrimp in our meal (I m not a fan of my food looking back at me when I m eating) and they missed that step in our first order so we alerted the waiter and they quickly got our order fixed. Everything was very good and our waiter was attentive. We will likely return next time we have a babysitter! Parking: The street outside the restaurant is under construction, so it may look daunting to get in but the parking lot is large and easy to get to the restaurant once you ve parked.

Big seafood lover. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Sat at the bar, so just order the combo basket catfish and calamari. Not many restaurants can do fried catfish, but this catfish was really good. And the calamari was surprisingly great, had to order a basket to go. The bartender was great, since I dined alone, he was friendly, and didnt mind me chatting him up every time he walked past me. Will definitely be back. Have to bring my friends next time, really want to try the king crab . 5 stars dont let the construction deter you. Well worth trying to find the entrance.

Our experience was fantastic. We were seated immediately and each staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. We ordered the large family boil pot that claimed to feed 5-6 people, but could have easily fed 8 adults. It was amazing, especially with some of the house sauce on the side for dipping. Mojitos were top notch and the ice cream macrons were great as well. We visit the DFW area a few times a year and have decided that this will be a regular stop for us when we come to town.

1st time here. We discovered this place just driving by. Reviews were pretty good so we gave it a try. We were seated right away. Staff wad friendly, place was clean, vibe was good, it was 3 pm so it wasnt real busy. We ordered drinks then ordered raw oysters for starters. My whole family was looking forward to a nice evening with what we hoped was going to be a great dinner. When sat down, we made our drink order. That was the first problem. My mother order unsweetened tea, because she is diabetic. We were told they ran out of unsweet but they had sweet tea. I asked how they could have sweet tea, but not be able to make more unsweet. Our server told us that the sweet tea was from the previous day and they ran out of tea to make. So youre selling day old tea? Gross. We figured we would just settle on different drinks and continue with our evening. I was set on ordering crawfish and raw oysters. Highly Disappointing for such a Highly Rated Place. Background: First off, I came to Dallas/Fort Worth for a vacation with my family to get away from our normal schedule for about a week. Once we arrived at our destination, naturally we wanted to try some new food spots. Since this place was so highly rated, we decided that we would plan a date night here. Now, lets get to the actual review. Location/Service: Besides being surrounded by construction, the King Crab House is pretty ducked off sitting in between a hotel and a lot of trees. Once we parked, we were greeted at the door, and quickly sat down. As we began to order, our server was pretty attentive and got our food to us quickly. Overall, the service was excellent and the highlight of our visit to this restaurant. However, the food left much to be desired as you will soon find out below. Food: Now to the food. We ended up ordering 3 things from here: an egg roll basket, the number 1 under triple your loving, and the fried fish platter. Let me just say this THE FOOD WAS TRASH. As a Florida Native and a foodie, both myself and my significant other were extremely appalled that this was actually considered seafood. Getting into the actual items, the egg roll basket tasted like it had been freezer burned and deep fried. Nothing was fresh about it. The seafood boil was waaaaaaayyyy too sweet. The only thing thats supposed to be sweet is the corn. However, the crab leg, shrimp, and potatoes we all saturated in the same sauce so it took away from the actual taste of the food. Lastly, the fried fish in the platter tasted like it was fresh out the freezer and waaayyy too fishy. Like caught fresh from the ocean fishy. If I could give this place zero stars on the food I would and Im usually pretty lenient with these reviews. Overall, if youre gonna market this place as a seafood spot; at least make the seafood the right way. We were so disappointed that we ended up going to a dessert spot to get the taste out of our mouths. Such a disappointment and a waste of money tbh. We tried out this new NRH location, as the one we normally go to is in Arlington. The one in Arlington has been a go to place for seafood boil and we love it! I think once people start trying this place in NRH, they will be glad its there. Take the offer on some gloves and a bib and get ready to grub. Dont be shy. We stick to our crab and headless shrimp with the House seasoning. You can choose your spicy level. It also comes with potatoes and corn. Weve tried their catfish and fries and that was delicious. The place is pretty clean definitely has a decent setup including a little area inside for a bigger party of people and a small patio outside. Definitely liked the food as well. Im not usually one to leave recommendations, but I had a really nice dinner last night with a friend at the new King Crab House on Bedford-Euless Road. The two of us had shrimp cocktail, gumbo, Dungeoness Crab, Cajun Fries, and a couple drinks each and the total bill was only $65, which is great for a seafood place! I wish that I had taken a picture of the crab plate because it was huge. We chose the Cajun flavor for the crab with a Medium spice level and it was really delicious with just the right level of heat. I appreciate anyone that is willing to put in the time and money to open a local restaurant nowadays. If you have a chance to stop by for lunch or dinner I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Came out here for the first time because they had reasonable prices and looking for a new food experience, I got the 1lb of snow crab and their seasoning choices weren t that good, I got the garlic butter I don t recommend. I don t think I d come back to eat here unless they have more options for their seasoning.

I have waited MONTHS for King Crab House to open. Since opening I have eaten there once. My husband isnt a fan of the pot seafood boils, hes more of a clean red lobster kind of guy. I love the mess! My crab was great, easy to get into and get meat out, the corn and potatoes werent over cooked or soggy, the sausage was delicious. We had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. It was just okay. The server was still very new however, the restaurant just opened. The owner or manager, I am not sure, was very friendly, even gave us a couple macaroons for the kids, and they were delicious. Overall a good experience , I cant say that it would be somewhere we visit frequently.

Been waiting for this place to open. Fantastic food! Started out with the egg roll appetizer, it came hot and crispy. The family and I ordered the triple your lovins( 1 pound snow crab & 1/2 shrimp ,head on), Cajun mild. Very flavorful, a little messy because of the sauce, but you re eating crab so what do you expect ;) overall super good. The oyster poboy sandwich was another delicious option. Baguette was soft and crispy and the fried oyster was perfect. Bonus, was the gumbo that was included with the Cajun fries. Lastly, was the grilled red fish. It was flavorful and fried rice was also really good. We were there during happy hour and we had the mojito and beach girl! Both great drink options! We will definitely be back, we love to support local businesses with great food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere.

People were nice, but food was mid. 3/10 at best. Sad dry and cold crab legs with very little sauce. The Cajun fries were good but that was the only good item. We got sick from the fried oysters so beware. For the price, it s underwhelming food. Honestly if you want your money well spent just go to their Arlington location.

Brand new restaurant! Everything is so clean and atmosphere is is great. Service is so amazing. The food was so hot that I had to wait for it to cool off! Went on the second day, the service was great! Hostess and waitress were very nice. Food was really good, the house special sauce on the seafood boil is excellent. The ac was blowing right on us so it made the food cool down a bit, but that s on me. Glad there s a place like this near me now.

After we were Seated waitress said second day of grand opening, ordered tea and were informed tea not available. Ordered combination crab legs and shrimp ( another dollar for headless shrimp) added a lobster tail and hush puppies. Hush puppies brought out like appetizers 15 mins before meal asked for butter that never came. When food was served the lobster was not fully cooked when waitress finally came to check on us we showed her the lobster and she carried it back to the kitchen at which time someone came to the table and told us they are cooking another. We had finished our meal and 25 minutes later they brought the tail out we took it to go. Very slow service, there were only 6 people total there. Hopefully gets better as time goes on

Omg!!! This place has amazing seafood in town. I went with my family for night out and saw this place just Grand Opening so gave a try. We ordered Snow Crab legs with shrimps no head, so delicious!!!! You guys must try their House Special sauce, I can t handle spicy so chose mild and it was perfect. My server was so attentive, she came and checked my table frequently. Restroom was so clean. I will come back for sure!
