We looked this place up, and drove an HOUR only to turn around immediately upon entering. The awful stench of sewer was absolutely horrible. I dont care how good the food is you cannot eat in an establishment that smells this bad. I also think of the tap water being used to cook, or drink. It cant be good! Definitely never coming back. We did not stay to eat so I dont know how good the food was.

I personally didnt like it. It had no flavor at all. All the oils just run off the cook top since its at an angle. The ceilings were really gross. Definitely not anything like Mongolian Ive had anywhere else. If you like blan noodles and meat then its great.

This is a great place for Mongolian and is a long time favorite. My eyes are often bigger than my stomach as the saying goes. The guy running the grill is super nice. I always get what I request whether it two eggs or light on the rice. The service lady always keeps your drink full, dirty plates cleared off and will bring you some tasty soft serve for dessert if you like

Ok here is the deal with Chans. You have to come when the tall Hispanic male is cooking for you. The small Asian guy just doesnt have the enthusiasm or skill he does to make your dish good. The other tall fella will make sure you are happy and that everything is thoroughly cooked. I have been here many times,and tonight I learned the lesson above again. Good place,with the right cook behind the counter !

Believe the reviews! Been a fan for years but forgot to review this one. Food is always great, waitresses have ALWAYS been attentive. My go-to sauce is adding the salt water and a big scoop of garlic does the trick! to give it more flavor if you dont like the original/plain veggie tastes. What can i say about Chans that truly describes how amazing it is. The atmosphere is perfect for lunches with friends and family dinners. The service is always on point even when they are busy the waiters and waitresses rush to get you refills. The food is always perfect when you get to decide what goes on your plate it becomes a symphony of flavor. And the Guy who cooks it I may not know him personally but i trust that man with my life. Ive become a regular customer there and will be for as long as this place stays open. The meat (beef and chicken) was tough and a lot of the beef had gristle in it, but everything else was good. It is important to keep in mind when you are picking your food that noodles do not shrink, so you probably want less of them than you think (they do not allow you to take excess home with you if you choose to dine in because it is buffet style and I believe dine in can go back for more), and meat does shrink a lot, so youll probably want more than you think. They will ask if you want rice and egg while they are cooking it, but you have to specifically ask them if you want teriyaki sauce. Vegetarian options: It is buffet style, so you pick what you want in your meal and can choose to not get any meat at all. Keep in mind, everything is cooked on a big round grill and they cook multiple meals at once on it, so your food will likely be cooked around meat.

Since moving to the Midcities we ve been looking for unique restaurants. I typically shy away from from Mongolian grills because of the price but this one is reasonable and good! The service was great. We were immediately welcomed and walked through the pieces. The Vegetables were fresh and atmosphere open and quiet enough to talk to the person near you. Everyone was friendly and food was hot. Enjoyable! Oh! And The buffet includes soup and ice cream. What a nice treat!

Ive never eaten Mongolian before. On the buffet you have about four meat choices, several vegetables, plenty of sauces, various kinds of noodles. Have the option to have sticky rice added during the cooking process and an egg. You get everything you want all together and they will cook it up for you. I dont eat the noodles so the pictures dont reflect that. You are going to get plenty full here! The waiter was very attentive and offered ice cream after the meal. 14.00 plus drink on the weekends. Its not a fancy place but very clean.

I love it. Magnolian grill has been my favorite for more than a decade and I was first intended to this cuisine in Tons Mangolian grill in Dallas in carrier parkway by highway i20 But since I moved to Fort Worth, it is way too far to fulfill my taste buds but I was lucky to find Chans which is 15 mins away from my home in Fort Worth. The food is great here and have all the meats you expect to be like the beef, pork, chicken, fish, shrimps, crabs and other vegetables and stuff. My food was well cooked and I had a meal that filled my cravings. I am definitely going to be a regular here and the dinner is not too expensive. With the drinks, I paid like $30.00 for two people and left some tip for the wait staff. Definitely recommend

Man i love this place. If youre not familiar with mongolian style restaurants, you basically make your own bowl of food and the chefs fry it up on a giant hot stone. This one they offer you rice and an egg if you want it. The veggie options are all good, and nothing looks old/rotten. The rice they serve is amazing. I dont know what they do to it, but its so good even without added sauces. Anyway, I highly recommend this restaurant, its really tasty and the staff are all friendly. Vegetarian options: Half of the ingredients are vegetarian so theres a breadth to choose from. Im still crossing my fingers that theyll add tofu one day. Kid-friendliness: High chairs, friendly servers, and you choose your own bowl so the picky eaters can be satisfied. Theres ice cream and fortune cookies.

This food is delicious. You choose the ingredients & they cook on this massive circular black griddle (huge). There are shrimp, scallops & fish, sliced chicken, beef, pork and sausage. Noodles and bean sprouts, all sorts of fresh vegetables and spices. Ginger, garlic, sesame oil, hot oil and so much more. You fill your bowels with meats (frozen) and seafoods of your choice, vegetables and then season. Threy cook in front of you. Rice and egg are traditionally added while cooking. Shake on some sesame seeds and you have a feast. Soup and ice cream are offered with your meal. Eat as much or as little as you wish. Our meal was $14.00 per person. Incredible and tasty !!! This place is legendary. Bare bones Mongolian. Lots of fresh veggies, meats, and seasonings. Your creation cooked on a massive round griddle. Its only as good as what you choose, though. So have a plan and take your time dressing up your bowls. Youll see massive manchildren going for volume. Thats fine, but it is all you can eat, so chill out and go for quality. As the griddle bosses cook, you have the option of adding eggs and rice with a head nod. The result is custom YOURS. The theatrics of the cooking are a fun attraction. Who knows whats in the bottles and pitchers they douse your food with, but it ends up tasty, so no worries. No doggie bags, so come hungry.

Have been enjoying Chans Mongolian for 15 years. Always plenty to eat, never leave hungry. That you can easily create your own bowl and sauces means if you dont like what you ate, its your own fault. Lunch options are great, and additional ingredient options are available at dinner (high cost than lunch). Vegetarian options: Because you choose what ingredients go into your stir-fry, you can manage your own dietary requirements from paleo to vegan. Dietary restrictions: Though you can choose your own ingredients, the nature of the stir-fry means there is an highly increased chance of cross contamination for those with food allergies/sensitivities.

Large selection of ingredients to prepare your dish just how you want it. Assemble your meal and then enjoy the show of it cooking on the large, very hot grill. The chef will ask you about adding additional items as it cooks. The sight, smell, and anticipation all meld it into a very enjoyable meal. Cost is good and quality is very good. I ve been to many Mongolian restaurants. This one pleasantly surprised me with extras such as rice cooked on the wok with the free option to add an egg and vanilla ice cream at the end for dessert. This is quite sad. We really love Mongolian bbq specially the ones we have tried in California and Canada. We enjoyed eating here the first time we tried it. It was a little different from what we are used to but it wasn t half bad. Today we decided to go again and OMG: without the newcomer jitters, I was able to pay more attention around. It was early and the place just opened so it should ve been as clean as it could but it was filthy. I had 2 really gross moments: My wife saw a roach by the food bar and when I grabbed a high chair for my daughter a second one I fell from it. I don t want to hurt their business but hopefully the owner/manager sees this and does something about it because it is obvious this place is not following sanitary standards. Its a shame but we will obviously never come back.

The cook was more than accommodating to clean a space for my daughters food and made sure hers was cooked separately. First time trying this place. Atmosphere was nice, quiet and quant. Not quite sure what to do as far as ordering food but figured it out easily. If you dine in, it s all you can eat but you cannot take anything home (kinda weird). It ran $14 per meal so that wasn t too bad for the amount of food we had. Overall, it was good and we will definitely be going back. Nothing bad to report.

I know that this place is popular with folks but we were not impressed. While they have a good selection of meat and vegetables to have the folks cook up for you only way to spice it up is very thin sauces that dont stick to the food leaving it bland. For example Salt no... They have salt water Ginger no... Ginger water Pepper only on the table They have soy sauce, Sriracha, and some other sauce in an unmarked yellow dispenser (and I didnt try because it was unmarked) on the table. On the up side, its all you can eat...

This is my opinions. I didnt like it myself. The rice had a weird smell after cooking on cast iron and the meat looked questionable. After a few bites in we were dizzy. The only items that tasted alright was sausage, and egg. Chicken, shrimp no bueno , beef was jerky and dry. Cooked with lots of msg in the oil they squirt on food while it cooks. I am sensitive to msg. The food was flavorless if you dont want the msg sauce cooked with it which is how we had 1 bowl cooked. It tasted like it was dunked in water. Asian food is known for flavor. If ur msg sensitive expect no flavors once cooked. The table has a weird wine sauce in a yellow bottle, there is soy, chili sauce and hot sauce. ? Why does it say no leftovers taken home? Makes me question if been sued in the past for food poisoning. I paid $32 for 2 bowls + 2 drinks. I wont return. Not my cup of tea.

This is the worst lunch i have ever had .The quality of the food is good and great selection but they absolutely water down all the sauces to the point where they all taste like dirty dishwater. We could not get any flavor without putting a gallon of sauce on our food which the cook just pours out. Even our drinks were completely watered down.. This is such a greedy move and shows that all they are interested in is maximizing profit. Well if they keep this up, people will stop coming, i know I will not be coming back. Do yourself a favor and pass on this.
