Perfect for beginners to intermediate riders. Nrh needs to trim the branches, though, because its a bit of a mess right now and dangerous for new riders. Im trying to trim myself to help. This is a hidden gem though!

Really love this park. The length of the trails are just right. I hiked it. This is my second time at this park. The 1st time it was early morning and dark with lots of bugs and very scary so I could not continue lololll. But this time it was more sunny and less buggy so I finished trail red and blue! I enjoyed identifying the tree barks. There are some hills. I guess for mountain bikers to jump but not many. I loved that though. It made the hike interesting. Great morning out.

I came here to test out and was really impressed with the trails. Well maintained and good signage. Really easy trail for the beginner in me and not too technical. Definitely coming back here. Plenty of shade! Beautiful scenery.

Enjoyed walking my doggie through the trails, they do need to be trimmed back and the trails need clearing a little bit thats to be expected with this being early spring and the rain. Theyll get it fixed up soon.

I went early on a Saturday last week about 8am. Nobody else in sight. Park nearby seems abandoned but the trail gave some lovely shots for nature photography if youre willing to do a bit of moderate up and down a couple banks.

Really great MTB trail for beginners! If youre very new to mountain biking and anywhere near this park, start here! Twisty but minimal ascents and descents. Mostly clean and smooth with only a couple of small constructed features.

Love this trail! My dad & I discovered it several months ago & weve been coming ever since. I feel like it is a hidden gem. It is never crowded & we often see no one at all. It is an MTB trail, but hikers are allowed, so we hike it. Lots of twists & turns. A good hike

My only complaint/ or suggestion would be for NRH to keep the kids off the trails with their dirt bikes and four wheelers before someone gets hurt. Same at Linda Spurlock. Obviously theyre not reading the park rules. Otherwise, I will give five stars because they really are amazing trails. A great place to escape to in the city.

Not bad for a little getaway. The hiking trail is kind of abandoned and skeetoey, and the creek not exactly pristine or pleasant smelling in places where there sewer lines lie, but its still quite an escape from the otherwise urban landscape all around.

Great trail for beginners, very tight and twisty trail. Super short so if you are new and dont have all the energy for a big trail then this one is the one for you. Not a lot of climbing or descending so it is pretty flat. It would be nice if there where some features or jumps.

Seems like a decent little trail for new mountain bikers. Narrow trail, lots of little bends, and small hills. Really needs to be cleaned up though, lots of trash littered about making it seem like there s a bit of a homeless problem. Sketchy character on the trail who seemed to be on something stopping visitors. Had to cut the ride short because it felt a bit unsafe.

Amazing little trail. Maybe 20 minute walk all the way around back to your car area. They have signs throughout the trail guiding you where to go. I think it needs to be cleaned up a little bit with Community service members I think this place can look amazing. Needs a little clean up.

Great beginners trails. Pretty narrow in some places so you have to watch your handle bars. Shaded in 99% of places so its ridable most of the day. There are a few technical areas with dips my daughters had to walk their bikes thru. I love this place.

Excellent beginner trails. Red and Blue loop are perfect for beginners. Yellow is a tiny bit harder but still great. Fun ride for family and new riders! Seasoned riders can lay down some fast times and still get a nice workout. Great job making a fun trail with limited space!!

Just opened but a great trail! Quick enough to do a loop in 30/40 minutes. Not a ton of climbs but still twisty enough to make you really have push to build speed after bleeding off in a turn. Overall for being the closest trail to me here on the west side of DFW it will see a lot of use!

Still under construction, but a very nice place to wander, be alone, and decompress. The trails are easy to follow and extremely clear, nicely laid out and well done. You can be within a few feet of other users and not see them... If all the walkers take gloves and bags and pull out litter, the place will stay a haven from the humans for a long time. Lets do this.
