I attended a wedding here in September 2024. HOT HOT HOT! Needs cooling fans under tent area - bar had no ice for mixed drinks - only 1 restroom w no AC/ fan or ventilation! Where bridal got ready AC was out! Needs cooling area for guests when it s hot outside ! Not to mention had to park at bottom of hill and walk up to venue - left after dark- had to walk downhill and only 1 motion light - needs a golf cart service to take guests up and down to vehicles.

My son and his wife chose this charming place as their Rehersal Dinner venue and we have to say it was like being in Europe at a French vineyard with great charm and personality. Everything turned out to be and outstanding. We would highly recommend this for an outdoor lunch or dinner venue. Only advise would be to ensure you contract the help of a wedding and event planner to put everything together to ensure a succesfull event.

My son and his wife chose this place as their wedding venue and I have to say it was a fairy tale type of wedding in a most beautiful place. I would however advise anyone considering this venue to be very careful in dealing with Willie. Get everything in writing as to costs and what is expected to be done because I dont think Willie is the most trustworthy of men to deal with. He will try to say you caused much damage to his property to keep the damage deposit. Take a lot of pictures of everything before and after the event because even though nothing is damaged he will try to claim that it is. Do not trust this man. You will regret it. He charged us for picking up the garbage bags from where he said to put them and he charged us to pick up some rose petals that were left on the ground. $500 for doing what he told us to do.

While out on a back-roads drive in Saturdays perfect weather we stumbled onto the entrance to Tosca Winery, and it was serendipitous. Greeted by a sweet, friendly, gentle dog named Hunter, who loves ear, neck, and belly scratches. Had a delightful visit with Mr van Wyk (Rennie?), the master vintner who told us about the winery, the grapes being grown, and the wines he and his partner are producing. The unique and beautiful little tasting room is located in a perfectly restored 1830s log cabin located on the property. It sits atop a ridge that provides great views, with shaded tables scattered about such that a couple(or more) can sit in quietness if they dont wish to be near others, and just take in the view while enjoying a glass. Several of their wines are made from grapes they grow onsite, the other grapes are from out of the area. We particularly liked the Blanc du Bois and the Texas Serenade Red, bought several bottles. And will return soon to restock, and to see Hunter.

Lovely quaint winery! The grapes are beautiful right next to the winery and the tasting room is adorable in a historic building on the property. The wine is incredible! Ended up leaving with two bottles to hold me over until I return! The tasting cost $6 and there were cheese and fruit boards available as well which were delicious.

Had the good fortune of visiting Tosca Winery just before COVID took off. The owners have done an amazing job creating a welcoming winery within easy reach of The Woodlands/Houston. The tasting room in an old 1800s log cabin that has been built out to be a beautiful wine bar. The winemaker (and co-owner), Rennie, served us for the tasting and gave us a tour of the winery. We bought a number of bottles and when that ran out we ordered online. I recommend all of their wines, but Toscas Rosé and Serenade Red are exceptional. If you are a port fan, their Black Spanish Port is excellent! Looking forward to going back soon!
