This venue is something out of a fairytale, especially when the garden is blooming, and the bridal portraits and pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Amy keeps it absolutely immaculate and was so helpful with the planing process. I really appreciated the fact that she has so many vendor recommendations who she knows and trusts, it made things so much easier. Choosing this venue was a big part of what made our special day so special!

While we did not end up booking this venue, I did want to leave a review for the venue and for Amy. My husband and I had the chance to meet Amy and tour the venue, and the venue is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds were impeccably maintained, even in the July heat, and the main house, reception hall, covered patio, and chateaus are so beautiful. Every detail in the venue is so thoughtful, and it is clear that Amy is passionate about what she does. Running this venue is truly her calling, and she is such a joy to work with. She is one of the kindest people Ive met---responsive, eager to answer questions and be helpful, and just generally a sunny, cheerful person. She even gave us some peaches from one of her trees after we toured the venue. We highly recommend the Gardens of Cranesbury View for a beautiful venue, and Amy for a wonderful person to work with.

The venue is nice, but the owner is difficult to deal with. She may appear friendly initially, but becomes rude regarding financial matters. she still expected us to remove the trash from both the house and the hall, even though we were being charged a $600 cleaning fee. She was upset that we chose a caterer not on her preferred list. Throughout the wedding, she constantly walked around, checking on everything. She later claimed that our caterer had left without cleaning, but we had thoroughly cleaned the caterers area, removed dishes, and took out the trash before leaving. Additionally, the chairs in the hall were dirty with some being brown and others black, and there were numerous dead bugs on the floor. Spare yourself the headache and stress on your wedding day and choose a place with a professional owner.

We had the wedding of our dreams at the gardens of Cranesbury view. From start to finish Amy helped us through the entire process. She was always available to answer all of my burning questions and responded promptly the same day on most occasions. She helped us find an amazing vendor for catering when our initial caterer fell through. We were thrilled by the replacement caterer she chose for us because they were able to prepare a traditional Ghanaian dish, which had my guest raved about ! Unfortunately, It rained the day of my wedding. However, we were still able to have my ceremony outside thanks to Amy s flexibility! She gave me up until a few minutes before the ceremony to decide whether to use the rain back up plan or have the wedding outside in the beautiful gardens . Miraculously, the rain cleared up exactly 10 minutes before the ceremony begun and we were able to host our beautiful wedding ceremony outdoors as I had always dreamed of. The wedding venue was truly so so beautiful and breathtaking . We stayed at the mansion, which was super convenient for my wedding party and I to go back and forth to. The rooms were very clean and well stocked . Amy was always there to provide us with items that weren t initially available in the home . She was truly an incredible host and has such a beautiful soul. I am so thankful that I chose the gardens of Cranesbury view to have my wedding . It was truly a special day I ll never forget .

This venue surpassed all our expectations and made our wedding so magical. We were living out of state when we first started planning our wedding and moved back to Texas shortly after our engagement. So my parents had to tour the venue for us initially, and Amy was so understanding and extremely helpful despite our long distance. She honesty was the reason our wedding planning went so smoothly, she offered a list of vendors she recommends and had such wonderful insight. She has years of wedding knowledge/ experience that made the difference in the quality of our wedding. I trust and value her services beyond compare. Every interaction with Amy exuded professionalism and warmth. The communication throughout the planning process was exceptional. The staff at The Gardens of Cranesbury View were always prompt in responding to our inquiries and accommodated every request with grace and efficiency. They guided us through every step, ensuring that no detail was overlooked, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The quality of service provided by The Gardens of Cranesbury View is truly unmatched. The venue itself is stunning, with meticulously maintained gardens that provided a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Do not select this venue for your special day!! 1 star is too much. We just had a wedding there 6.9.2024 Let me explain. Amy, the owner swears that there is no hidden fees, thatd a lie. She nickle and dimes you every which way. To start, she stated that all we needed was zip ties to put decorations on the gazebo, not true. We needed to bring a 12 ft ladder because she doesnt have one. So we rented one for no reason because we couldnt hang anything on the gazebo. All of the rooms were locked in the house except the bathrooms, bride suite, and grooms suite. We all had to get ready in one suite. And there were no towels and could not find paper towels. In the house, the only fridge and freezer were not working right. She said it was because something we did and it just needed to be reset. While we were putting waters and sodas in the fridge, i went to put water in the freezer and moved the ice drawer, and water came out on the floor. She wanted to argue about that and say it was my fault because i put ice bags in there and filled it up. I put in the ice bags about 2 hrs before the end of the night. The ceremony chairs were dirty and had bird poop all over them. During the ceremony, the chickens were making noise. In the ballroom, the chairs and cushions were disgusting. Cushions were all stained, and they were supposed to be white. When they set up the used brown chairs mixed with black chairs, it looked so bad. Amy told me that because we changed the layout of the ballroom 2 times that she wasnt coming to change out chairs, for me to get them out of the caterers room. The ballroom got super hot, and she had lock boxes on the thermostat. There were also dead flies all over the ballroom floor. Lets talk about the caterers room. No fridge or freezer. No running water. No oven to keep food warm. Holes in the doors, and they wouldnt shut right, so flies were everywhere. Caterers are so unhappy about conditions. She wanted the caterers to clean up the ballroom, and if they didnt, it would be a $600 charge if we didnt get a licensed company to come and clean. She said she would charge regardless, even if we cleaned up everything. Here is where it gets worse. She was texting me while the ceremony was going on about the cleaners. Then, she demanded while the bride and groom cut the cake to venmo her $600 right then and there. I had to go outside for a call from my mothers doctor, who is dying. Then, I called my brother to let him know. She hunted me down and tried to talk to me about it. When I told her my mother was dying and I was talking to my brother, she kept on demanding answers from me. I had to politely tell her I could not deal with her right now. Then she demanded that I do not leave that I have to stay til the end because I was the coordinator. So I stayed, but when I was leaving, she stopped me and told me that I shouldnt be leaving. I stayed so long that my mom went from responsive to nonresponsive, so I can not talk to my mother now. I lost that opportunity. So we told her she could keep the deposit, and we would send $100 for the $600 fee. But them she still wanted us to clean up the trash in the house and ballroom. Confused about what the $600 was for. She was asking the guest where I was and walking around the majority of the time. She made this beautiful event such a headache. Now I was the coordinator, Unexperienced, and the brides friend/ family. This whole experience was horrible. The venue is not worth the money. And dealing with Amy isnt worth it. She is condescending and rude! Late add but the water to take showers were ice cold. Her response is ridiculous. My one daughter that couldnt handle it dis not go. My teenage daughter who went helped me throughout the process. We were leaving and she was in the car not hiding out in it. The caterers did clean up just not the chairs and tables. We as a hole the families and etc did clean up. But still paid her the $600 fee to stack chairs and tables. She is the one unprofessional just look at the reviews!

Honestly beautiful venue, but not worth the money or the headache. I had a terrible experience overall having my wedding here. Luckily my wonderful friends and family didnt let the issues of the day affect me so I still had a great wedding, but the number of issues with the venue was appalling. We booked the main house to stay in the night before and night of the wedding and a bunch of my family booked the chateaus that are also available, they were all advertised to us like an airbnb. We had issues where there weren t enough towels for everyone, there was barely any cooking utensils in the kitchen (two trash bags, missing coffee pot lid), and the venue owner told us she unplugged the wifi to save money so we struggled to download a video my mom made for the wedding, my 360 Video Photo Booth vendor couldn t send the videos to any of our wedding guests, and we had to download our wedding music playlist via hotspot (we played our own Spotify playlist). On the wedding day my family got locked out of their chateau and the venue owner was unreachable, she also lost our table layout and I had to give her mine which she never returned. The venue also had chickens roaming around during my wedding and they had to be chased out of the aisle as we were walking down and there was chicken poop right in the middle of the courtyard during cocktail hour, it was so unprofessional. They also mowed the grass right before the wedding, but didn t pick up any of it so there was just clumps of grass everywhere. The venue owner also was ushering our family out of the main house after the wedding even though they were staying in the chateaus which I thought was odd. All in all I had a great wedding but it was in spite of the venue, not because of it. EDIT: Honestly after seeing the venue owner s reply taking zero responsibility for anything, I have nothing more to say except read your contracts closely and don t ever trust what a vendor is saying because they will say anything to get you to book with them. And the fact that there are straight up lies in her response and she s blaming her venue issues on my guests shows just how unprofessional she really is.

I had my beautiful wedding at the Gardens of Cranesbury View. From the breath taking scenic views to the cleanliness of the venue. The owner has been so accommodating to my family, my husband, and I. I had asked her so many questions and she responded promptly with lots of great details! The little French Village is such a great touch! My bridal party and family were able to stay on site and get ready there before the wedding. We had about 16 people staying there and there were still so many chateaus available to rent. We were all able to play volleyball and cook at the pool the night before our wedding and we had a blast!! The day of she is on site to make sure everything is running smoothly. She was an absolute joy to work with. She always made me so welcomed. I couldn t ask for a better experience.

My wife and I had our wedding on 03/30/2024. While it was a beautiful wedding regardless, we have been pretty unsure of how to handle our feelings about the venue. We decided finally to post a review about it and oh boy did her response to the review absolutely drive home our feelings of disappointment. From the start, the venue owner Amy was misleading about the way things would work and while she did provide us a thorough contract, we took her at her word regarding some of the details about how things would unfold. Contract details aside we are absolutely appalled by the way she runs her business. We brought forth genuine issues to her as she stated was completely encouraged and she not only became defensive but outright blamed and attacked us about the issues. Going so far as to outright lie in her response to my wife s review! She literally told our wedding party that SHE unplugged the WiFi and then turned around after our review of the inconvenience caused by this and states in her response that someone in our group unplugged it. She also attempted to blame us for her chickens being loose during the day of the wedding and their poop being present everywhere across the courtyard and reception area. She claimed to never have seen them despite them needing to be literally ushered out of the isle as the wedding ceremony began! We weren t even that upset about everything but felt it was right to post an honest and fare review however her response was absolutely pompous, unprofessional and disrespectful to us and all of our guests! To have the idea that it is acceptable to respond to your customers honest feelings with actual lies and accusations is completely beyond me . Couples beware before booking. Again beautiful venue but the cost of having to do business with this person is absolutely not worth it.

Firstly I d like to say, what a truly incredible place, both in beauty and ease this venue is just for you. My wife and I had our wedding here just this past weekend and we were just gushing over the owner Amy, she made it easy for us to understand what was required of us, our vendors, as well as the overall clean-up of the ceremony and reception. Upon reading the contract she sent my wife and I, she explained very clearly everything that was required and what was included. Upon reading a review posted by what appears to be the wedding the day after ours, I was appalled to read that the wedding had problems that I can t even imagine possible as most of the complaints were laid out clearly in her contract. Amy kept an open line of communication to both our vendors, coordinator, as well as my wife and I. Upon arrival at the venue on our special day, our ballroom had been set up beautifully and precisely to how my wife and I as well as our coordinator had planned it. Our caterer (Anne Marie s catering) was one recommended off of Amy s list, and they were phenomenal. Everything they needed was provided for them by the venue as well as providing cleanup after our event. Our family and friends as well as the caterer and cleaned were done and out by 11 and my wife and I were on our way to a peaceful night after an incredible wedding. My wife and I will always remember what a beautiful, easy, and lovely wedding we experienced here at The Gardens of Cranesburyview. Thank you Amy :)) I am truly appalled by the reviewing of the person below this one. I do truly believe the reason that their day was anything less than picture perfect was due to the lack of experience by the coordinator. I d call that a case of ignorance is bliss, how can you ruin your own day and blame someone else on your idiocracy. How difficult is it to read and understand a contract that you ve signed your self. This venue is picture perfect! I have had the pleasure of working at this venue providing various services for the wedding industry and each time I am floored by it s beauty. Its landscaping is always meticulous no matter the time of year providing photo opportunities not just to the couples but their guests too. The venue is so beautiful you don t have to waste a ton of money on decorations. There is so much space in the courtyard area during cocktail hour that guests don t have to feel cramped yet the event still feels cozy and intimate. The owner is also a joy to work with taking care of the couples as well as the support staff working. Each time I have worked at her venue she has personally checked in to make sure everything is going as expected to ensure the event is wonderful. Amy has gone so far as to lend me personal belongings when I didn t have what I needed to get the job done. By far this is one of my favorite venues.

OMG! The gardens are so beautiful, giving castle vibes with English sculpted gardens! The French village is literally out of a story book! I have been to this wedding venue multiple times and the pictures online do NOT do it justice. The owner and workers at the gardens are always welcoming and warm. I strongly recommend this venue for any type of gathering! Weddings, baby showers, quinceanera, sweet 16, this fairytale location will exceed your needs!!

wish I could give Amy the owner a -0. Please do not use her. Your items that are delivered pre ceremony will come up missing. you bridal party will not have running water if she plans a event the next evening. Bathrooms work outside but the doors upstairs are locked. she will feed you a story about well water but the other Bathrooms work fine outside. she will smile, blow you off, steal items you purchased so she can have them for future use(my opinion not proven, items just disappear) and will not all the party full use of the upstairs for the bridal party and downstairs for the groomsmen as previously stated. Amy will increase the price to her liking please be aware!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DO NOT USE THIS VENUE!! THIS LOCAL BUSINESS I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. if you use her plan on going to court with a civil suit as we will do. Totally horrible wedding experience...(reply to Amy) I encourage you to have true and fair business practices. what you are encouraging me to do is ask the other guests to write a review of how horrible things were and my review will look great! you will have your opinion and I will forever have my HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at your nice looking property!

Looks wonderful online, in person a whole other story. Holes in the bushes, mosquitoes everywhere, no back up plan for rain, house rented to us with zero napkins to clean, one roll of toilet paper, no cups and the list goes on. Extremely micro managing and unprofessional. For a garden its not very eye catching or green...dont believe the promises of it being up kept. The venue itself is lacking TLC. The outside of the house where it used to be white is molded and stained, simple pressure washing would make it 100% more appealing. Oh well cant go back in time or I wouldnt be writing this review.

I can not get over this venue!!!! From the moment we toured it in January 2021 I knew this was the place we were going to to get married! The place is absolutely amazing, the pictures just don t do it justice. In person being there does not feel like we are still in Texas. Amy was incredibly amazing during the process. She allowed us to do our engagement photos and allowed me to do my bridal portraits. My whole wedding day felt like I was in a fairytale. We have gotten so many compliments about our wedding and how lovely the venue was. We also stayed on property in the big house and the chateaus. Which I highly recommend because being with family and friends that weekend made it such a great weekend being altogether. We did have a slight problem with the fridge but Amy was so quick to fix it and the fridge was completely working by the morning. Amy was always there if we needed something and quick to fix it. I would highly recommend The Gardens of Cranesbury to anyone that wants a fairytale garden for a wedding!

The place was absolutely beautiful but the service was terrible! The venue lady was giving my in laws a tough time and never did anything she was supposed to do. She wanted extra money just to unlock rooms and wanted to kick us bridesmaids out at a certain time.. some people were even doing construction work in the lot where the guests are supposed to be parking, why do that on a wedding day? That makes no sense. It was extremely upsetting on someones special day! The lady even wanted all of us to get our things out of the house or else shed lock all of the doors. I dont understand why she was being so rude I dont recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue. From the very first picture I saw on the internet, I was in love. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and they are meticulously maintained. Whatever season you visit, there s beauty all around. Amy, the owner and coordinator is one of a kind. She took care of me and my husband from the first email I sent asking to tour the venue. She was there to answer every question I had, venue-related or not, and the day of the wedding she was such an incredible blessing to my husband and me. I had my wedding on January 9, 2021 & let me say Mrs. Amy Templeton is the absolute best to work with! With her experience & expertise in elegance (& excellence), she brought SO much peace to my mom & I throughout the entire planning process. I had to plan my wedding from 1,000 miles away, but that didn t stop Mrs. Amy from always communicating with me! We were able to visit the venue whenever we needed to be sure we had all the details put together. But the venue...the Garden is so beautiful you need little to no decorations whatsoever. Every guest loved it just as much as we did. Go see it for yourself & you ll understand! My family/wedding party was also the first to stay in the AirBnb & it was perfect. Mrs. Amy is so detail-oriented, so we weren t missing anything! The convenience of staying on property was unmatched to any other venue...I can t imagine having my wedding any other way! We had everything we needed or forgot we needed 10 steps away from us versus having to drive 45 minutes across town. And to add, the beauty of having the AirBnb all weekend (& a late Sunday checkout) with my family & friends gave us so much time to bond & love each other after being apart for so long. We got to set up a day early, & were not rushed out the door to tear everything down afterwards. If you can make the AirBnb happen, do it! Even during a pandemic, my wedding was a huge success & dream come true!!! Thank you, Mrs. Amy, for everything you do to make the Gardens so uniquely beautiful & for helping every bride feel so special. I honestly don t know where to begin to talk about how absolutely fantastic it was to work with Amy and having my daughter s wedding at this venue this past weekend. Forgive me if my thoughts seem all over the place... it was just that great of an experience!!! We were the first family to AirBnB the Bridal House and it was worth every penny. My daughter and I met Amy at Bridal Expo back in Jan of 2020 and made an immediate connection with her and once we toured the venue my daughter didn t want to look anywhere else. The AirBnB house sleeps 20 and offered enough sleeping rooms for the entire bridal party and a few family members. All of the beds were queens or larger. Everything was clean and organized fully stocked linens and towels! Amy even left champagne, orange juice and eggs in the fridge for us. The convenience of being able to stay on-site for the weekend pays for itself. Our coordinator was able to do a lot of pre-decorating on Friday night, our bridal party didn t have to have hotel rooms or rental cars. As a Mom my heart and mind was at ease because no one was driving home late after the reception was over. Amy s attention to detail is impeccable. There was never a time that she wasn t available to answer our questions or concerns during the last 12 months of planning. Even in the midst of COVID she reassured us along the way even having security on the ready taking temperatures before entry. And keeping with CDC guidance along the way. My husband was so happy with everything that he s considering using the venue again for his upcoming Military retirement. It was very evident to us from jump that Amy loves God and loves people. Her passion for this industry shines through throughout the venue and the Bridal House. We didn t have to leave the property at all until it was time to check out. If you re looking for a venue that truly has everything... look no further. Amy has become like family to us now and we are so grateful to have made the connection with her. The Gardens of Cranesbury view is a stunning, beautiful venue in the Texas Hill Country. We enjoyed the gorgeous, open ceremony space, courtyard, house, gardens, and reception area. Having all of these spaces at the venue allowed us and our guests to maximize the time we spent together. The space was perfect for the 120 guests in attendance. The basic rentals included were exactly what we were looking for and we only needed to bring our own decorations. All of these spaces were made a thousand times better by the venue owner - Amy. Amy supported me and my husband from the moment we stepped foot onto the premises until after our wedding. She helped us plan everything from guest arrival to our send-off and all the details in between. She was kind, attentive and helped us form exactly what we wanted for our wedding. One of our checks did not arrive to Amy in time due to postal issues and she was very understanding and continued to work with us to make sure things were moving along. I highly recommend getting the Coordinator package as Amy takes care of EVERYTHING the day of the wedding. The only thing I had to worry about was hair, makeup, and champagne (haha). Even with us starting later (hair and makeup, it happens), Amy helped keep the schedule without it feeling like time was cut short. She reminded us often to take a breath and step back to truly soak up the time and make memories. After the ceremony, she had a sweet surprise of champagne for us while we took a quick break before the reception. She assisted our families with taking home leftovers of food and alcohol at the end of the night. After the wedding, we didn t have any issues getting our deposit back in a timely manner. We highly recommend Amy and this gorgeous venue!! :)

While we did not end up booking with The Gardens of Cranesbury View (had some wedding plan changes), this is a review regarding our experience with the consultation and tour conducted by Amy, the owner of the venue. My fiance and I were both greeted warmly by Amy, and truly felt like family from the moment we walked onto the property. She sat us down and asked personalized questions about our wedding vision, and was incredibly eager to help us bring this dream day to life! Walking through the gardens was a memorable and beautiful experience. The grounds are so well kept, and the greenery/flowers are STUNNING. Every little detail to enhance the space has been thought of. The indoor venue is equally as beautiful, and the attention to detail is marvelous. The Gardens of Cranesbury View is an amazing venue and it was the perfect setting for our wedding and reception. Our guests are still telling us how beautiful our outdoor ceremony was, how wonderful the suggested vendors were, and how much fun they had in the gardens. This is all thanks to Amy and her team! The venue has recently finished large renovations since we booked our date and all changes were for the best! Groomsmen now have the entirety of the lower floor in the main house, while the bride and bridesmaids have their run of the top level (including the balcony). The ceremony site has also been given some TLC, with a walkway and surrounding greenery. Additionally, Amy offers many decorations for rent, a concise and helpful list of vendors, tips and tricks to best use her venue, and complimentary roaming chickens. :D Amy truly cares about her venue and desires to improve upon it with each and every booking. My husband Campbell and I got married at this venue in mid-December , and it is absolutely stunning! It was so beautiful that some of our guests took their impromptu Christmas card photos here while waiting for the ceremony to start LOL. Amy (the owner) made us feel seen and known as a couple, and worked hard to create such a special day. Instead of feeling like just another number cycled through the venue, we felt truly loved and celebrated. She is personable and genuine, two character traits that can be rare to find in the wedding industry. Not only did we have the pleasure of having our wedding at her venue, but we also booked Amy as our wedding coordinator and florist. Since horticulture is Amy s specialty, the flowers were AMAZING and are still alive in my kitchen long after the wedding. As a coordinator, Amy made sure the day ran smoothly and was thoughtful enough to schedule in time for my husband and I to celebrate alone in the bridal suite. During the reception, she also gave us plenty of time to eat (which hardly ever happens at a wedding). She was a fierce protector of our time and made sure we weren t bothered at all by communicating with the other vendors on our behalf. Amy takes amazing care of her clients. My guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and my mother commented on how everything during the wedding went smoothly because she was our wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was set up correctly for the wedding. At our 30 day meeting, she asked a lot of questions that I forgot to think about for the wedding, like appetizers during cocktail hour! She also took time to set up the decorations beautifully, just the way that I wanted it. Shes very detail oriented, responsible, and overall just on top of everything. We loved this venue so much that we booked it not only for our first daughter s wedding, but for our second daughter s wedding as well, only four weeks apart. Amy, George and Hunter are absolutely the best! Amy was so patient with all of our questions, and really keeping us on track with both weddings as they were so close together. Amy did an outstanding job on making sure that each wedding day for our family ran on schedule and it was such a professional in dealing with our vendors. She has this down to a science and you are in good hands when booking this venue. I paid for coordinating services for both weddings and it was worth every single cent! Amy has such a great eye for flower design, I absolutely fell in love with the bouquets that she made and all of the centerpiece arrangements, in addition to the ceremony arrangements on the gazebo. Hunter is so dedicated to all the little details and on the wedding day I never saw her take a break, sure she did but I just didn t see it. And George, what a sweetheart! The best bartender, very funny, and personable, but responsible and making sure that guests are safe. I cannot say enough of how much I am grateful for Amy and her staff and all that she does for their clients on such an important day. October 6, and November 10, could not have gone any better! My daughter just had her wedding this past week end at this Venue, the Gardens of Cranesbury View. The scenery was great in spite of the cold weather. The ceremony was fantastic. Amy supplied blankets for our guests during the ceremony and accommodated them. The reception hall and decorations were beautiful. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Rating this venue at 1 Star is too much. No star would be more like it. Please do your research before getting any venue. I ve personally never written a review before but tonight was the worst wedding I ve ever catered! There may have been a miscommunication on our part about there not being any drinkable water on the property and I did have to send an employee out in the middle of nowhere to buy 12 gallons of water to accommodate the guest which is no problem because that was a lack of communication on our part but what kind of wedding venue doesn t have drinkable water? You re a wedding venue! I also later found out that the owner (Amy) lived on the property and had no access to drinkable water at her house as well. she also tried to throw this in my face later in the evening when we ran out of tea and water well after we were done serving. It was almost as if the owner promised the bride and groom this and that and then expected us (the caterers) to clean up (bus tables, pick up cups, pick up linens, break down tables and chairs, sweep and mop) after the wedding was over. Again we are caterers not employed with this venue whatsoever. The owner manipulated everyone. She tried to make me believe that she told the owner (my husband) we were responsible for these things and I also later found out that was a lie and he never agreed to that. Never in my life as a caterer have I had to stay till the end and clean up after the wedding. She told the bride and groom and myself that she was gonna charge them an extra $300 if we didn t pick up plates and cups so of course me not wanting any problems had my crew picking up plates and drink cups. We waited for payment for 2 hours only to find out Amy told the bride and groom not to pay us until our job was done aka cleaning the venue. I then had to confront the bride and groom before they were being sent off to their car and ask them for payment and explained to them we are the caterers, our job has been done for the past 2 hours and we have been waiting for payment. Amy is not our boss, we do not work for her and we need to receive payment because our job has been done we even did extra by picking up everything off the tables. Amy took advantage of us and made herself out to be this innocent lady when that wasn t the case at all and I think the bride and groom realized that after they spoke to both my husband and I. We received payment and told the groom we would finish picking up the last of the cups and we were heading out. I explained to the bride and groom how this lady was gonna charge them $300 for a job that was already half way done because we did it. The groom even admitted that Amy had been giving him a headache all day and ruined his night I hope if anyone does business at this venue things go better for you.

Unprofessional, rude, dont get what is paid for. Caterers shorted around 40 plates, threw away cake and gifts for the guests. When confronted, the event planner/owner stated Im not doing this. Be warned and book elsewhere. **Update 11/14/18** As can be seen by response, very rude and unprofessional. As it pertains to remeremembering me, you are thinking of another. I never once yelled or was out of line. I reviewed on behalf of my family. To make up stories of me or to name the wrong person, shows the lengths gone to fool others. Future wedding guests beware!

Fabulous wedding venue! We looked for months at different wedding venues all over San Antonio, and this was the one my daughter loved. We had a fabulous experience with Amy, our wedding coordinator, and her lovely estate. From the time you enter the front gate, you feel like your in an Italian villa with a beautiful house and wonderful gardens. She arranged all our decorations with style and placed all our family treasures in great settings. She was able to arrange things we just included as extra decorations. My entire family had such a great time and loved the venue and its gardens. They were thoroughly impressed and enjoyed every minute of it. The grandkids loved the room to run around outside and especially loved the chickens! They thought the balcony setting for the bouquet and garter toss was so unique. I cant wait to see the wedding pictures from a vendor Amy recommended. She took care of every aspect of the wedding from suggesting vendors to making the wedding day more relaxing for family members. The food was great and the DJ was awesome. The photographer took some wonderful pictures of all the family members and guests. I would recommend The Gardens of Cransberry View to anyone wishing to make their daughters wedding magical.

Some may say that the reception area is small, but I beg to differ from others as I found the reception area quite adequate for a medium to large wedding. This really is a lovely venue. I went to have a wedding that was held here and the gardens are well kept and absolutely beautiful. The facilities were just the right size for this wedding party which had 200 people and full service catering for dinner. We went at sunset and it was romantic and elegant without being snobby if that makes any sense :) For any gathering that you want to really have a special venue for like a wedding or anniversary celebration come of this would be the place to go. Its tucked away and not on the highway so it is quiet and beautiful with views of the Hill country everywhere.

I was going to move on from that, but when I asked about a private place to nurse my child, the woman running the event suggested I go to the bathroom to do so. Beautiful venue. Quite a distance from San antonio. The highway route is paved, but the parking is gravel. It rained at our event. Bridal party was exposed to the elements. Guests used umbrellas. The wedding was outdoors, ceremony indoors. Open bar was outside and was under a pop up tent so we got wet everytime we got drinks. Wedding planner was seasoned, accomodating and very helpful but I think our group gave her run for their money

The venue is beautiful and Amy (the owner and coordinator) made the experience amazing! My older sister was married a few years before me and it was a mostly DIY wedding. My parents werent able to enjoy it (because they were working a good portion of it). For my wedding we wanted to take care of as many aspects as we could through one person. Being able to have the ceremony & reception site, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, flowers, and even some of the decor taken care of through Cranesbury was FANTASTIC. Amy has an excellent eye for detail and worked with my family in order to create the exact wedding we wanted. We had a giant wedding party and many of our friends were involved in our wedding - Amy and her staff handled the logistics of the ceremony and the amount of guests (around 220 people) perfectly. Amy totally made the day all about my vision for the wedding and no one elses. I appreciated that so much! Especially as someone who cares about what I want but gets easily overwhelmed by the amount of details it takes to have the perfect wedding.
