The food was amazing. We ordered takeout while visiting from our of town. They ran thirty minutes late picking up our order, but the food was good. The mongolian beef, while tasty, was not authentic. They were very pleasant and the place was clean.

We placed a pickup order, and order was double charged. When we asked them to fix/remove the double charge, they told us to dispute the charge with the bank. After getting home with our order, we realized an item was missing. We called them and again they said they wouldnt correct the issue (refund the item that was missing) and that wed need to contact the bank. The food we did get was underwhelming, not very flavorful. Definitely dont recommend and we wont be back. Unfortunate, as we love Thai food.

My friend and I have dined here once before. Probably 4 or 5 months ago. The food was good enough so we decided to go back tonight. I ordered two appetizers; edamame and spring rolls and they were good. For my entree I ordered their special that was on the chalkboard. Teriyaki Salmon. When they delivered the plate it looked so tasty but one bite and the salmon was so dry and hard, I felt like it had been microwaved several times.Maybe thats why it was douced in Teriyaki glaze. I politely told the server that unfortunately, I didnt care for the Salmon, it was overcooked and dry, and to please just take it off my bill. JUST THE SALMON. I didnt ask for anything else in its place. They insisted that since I took a bite, I had to pay for it! (The exact same scenario as someone elses experience). But wait, it gets better, the server said ok. She went and got the cook and he said I needed to pay for it as well because I had eaten it! I took ONE bite and it was horrible. The cook also said, ok and next thing you know the New Braunfels Police Department showed up. They called the cops! Thankfully the officers helped to get the meal removed from my bill and I paid for the apps and the servers tip. Ive never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Im in the service industry myself and I was absolutely dumbfounded. Obviously I will never go back but perhaps their Thai food is good according to their other reviews. However, with us being the only cars in the parking lot, at 6:30ish both times, maybe that should have been a clue. Especially in New Braunfels and the love of Thai food by many. They called the police over probably a $7.00 net cost. It would have been $20.00 with tax on my bill. I actually wasnt going to write a review; I was just going to leave it alone, even after they called the police! That is, until I read what happened to another patron. Same exact experience. If you take a bite ..beware!

I dont know if theyre paying for reviews or if I got exceptionally horrible luck. I came in today, ordered two appetizers and an entree which were both fine. The entree came out and the chicken was dry and all of the vegetables tasted freezer burnt. I sent it back after taking maybe 3 bites and said Id happily pay for the appetizers but I didnt want the entree. The server said I still had to pay for the entree, per the owner. She apologized profusely but still, I paid almost $40 for chicken satay and some edamame and an inedible plate. Used to love this place, even worked here for the previous owners when it was Thai Lao. Absolute trash now.

Best Thai food in Texas! Love the Pad Se Ew with chicken and Thai fried rice. For appetizers I had the Crisp Spring Egg Rolls and they were piping hot and crispy after take out home. Great flavor in every dish! It s been so hard to find not just good Thai, but amazing Thai food. This is my place! Their menu is extensive and I recommend the Mango & Coconut Sticky Rice dessert. Not every restaurant can get every dish perfect but our order nailed it! I ll definitely be going back weekly. Thanks for being in New Braunfels! Fair prices for dishes allow me to get a variety of options. The location is charming, but be ready to turn off the road quickly or you might miss the pull in. You enter on the rear side FYI. Don t wait just try it.

The past few times we ve been here the food has been amazing but it took forever. I think they ve got it down to a science now because the food came out hot and fresh and only took a few minutes. Staff was polite and attentive and the bill was reasonable. I ve tried all the Thai food in the area and can say this is the best in town! Highly recommend! Delicious Was all very fresh. Clean place too. Its on 46 so I hate the traffic and have not given them a chance until now, but worth the 46 driving. Idk what curry these were but they were great. The food was incredible. Our waitress was very good. The only problem was we arrived around 1:15 pm. we finished our food, and i wanted to make a togo order. They said the kitchen was closed. Then i tried to get some green tea ice cream. The waitress said she couldnt even do that. Shortly after, they told us we had to leave now. If you go there, which i recommend, dont go after 1:30. Unless you want a to go order.

This such a great little spot. The Beef Pho taste like home, the rice was the best I ve tasted so far being new to New Braunfels which I think because they seasoned the rice that reminds me of someone I knew back home and it brings back memories with every bit. The sweet and sour chicken was very good and un-breaded and the sauce was light. The only thing I found to be a little bit different was the teriyaki chicken, which I didn t care to much for, but the pot stickers were very good. So give it a try and you ll be happy you did.

We love this place so much we ate there 2 days in a row. Its nicely decorated and clean. They have some items that Ive not seen on other Thai places Ive been to, so I had to try them, and theyre both very good. The kao soy seafood was delicious, had lots of seafood and noodles. The sukiyaki I got with veggies instead of the chicken, and it was amazing as well, only there is very little glass noodles in the dish, I had to order extra rice to eat with it. My husband got the pad ginger the first day, and the clay pot delight the 2nd day, which was kinda the same as the pad ginger but in a clay pot, so he practically ate the same thing twice. We had to order extra rice both days because the portions that came with the meal were small. I had the Thai tea and the Thai coffee, and both were really good. I would definitely come back here again next time Im in NB. Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, but you can ask to customize an order.

Ive heard good Asian is hard to get in this town and this place helps that reputation. Saw a lot of really good reviews so figured wed give it a shot. Costs were a little high but a lot of these type restaurants will really load you up and make that cost worth it. Not here! Portions were ridiculously tiny. 15 bucks on a lemon grass stir fry that wouldnt fill my toddler. Food was bland and pretty much devoid of taste.

Ive eaten Thai food in many cities, and this is up there with the very best. My wife and I ordered golden triangles, panang curry and pad prig king. All were truly superior. The service was likewise very attentive and polite. Not sure why, but the restaurant has Villa Thai on the outside wall, but shows up here as Thai Lao Orchid. Based on the address, it seems to be the same business, maybe a recent name change?

Best authentic Thai curries around! They have a good, saucy pad thai. Ive tried many of their stir fried noodle dishes and theyre pretty legit. They dont always answer their phone but that doesnt mean they arent there. If their hours say they are open, theyre open. They dont always have ppl to answer the phone.

Excellent flavor, veggies crisp as should be cooked, & spice is perfectly on point as ordered. Ties for best Thai food Ive eaten with the one order.... second tonight again. Interesting dishes available too like the Mango Curry... tasty like Thai with a Texas twist but Thai flavor dominating Notice the only bad reviews consist of portions....in general or amount of protein. Portions werent huge but very satisfying. As for the amount of meat......Thai food isnt all about meat. If you want a whole chicken breast on the Pad Thai or a whole chunk of beef in the other dish then go to a greasy spoon restaurant not a Thai restaurant Or try losing some weight.

Don t bother trying to call in a to go order, they have the phone set to silent and if the employees manage to see a call they pick up and hang up without saying a word. Food is decent but the to go portions are pathetic for what they charge.

My family and I just moved here to NB from DFW TX and we have been looking for a local good Thai food place. We finally found one. This place is FRESH AND DELICIOUS!!!! I do wish when ordering that we could order bigger family size quantity of their curries and appetizers. You definitely cannot go wrong with this place! We love everything they have. My favorites are the red and yellow curry and the egg soup.

Edited After 4 Months.... Delicious flavor! I really was happy to have found a new Thai place, after moving from Converse. The only things that bum me out is that they really dont give much meat. I would really like more meat when I order an item. Even if I would need to pay just a little more, I would. Another issue I have is that their site say my address does not exist. No delivery available for me I guess. Lastly, I wish their phones would work. Ill give this place another shot, but it seems a lot of Asian cuisine nowadays is substituting their meat with broccoli, carrots (here), mushrooms, or something else. Thanks for the great food. Oh! They have dine-in now available. Cant wait to try dining in here. Maybe it is better that way. Edit: 4 months later and theyre getting sooooooo skimpy on the orders! Im really disappointed here. I got marely a scoop of rice with my panang chicken curry. Oh, and there is hardly any chicken in that meal nor in their chicken pad thai. I really wish I could just lose my temper at this place. Okay, I do not recommend this place. I have a ton of green beans in my food and hardly any meat. Im so disappointed.

My fiancés quote, there is no way this is someone s favorite Thai food place. Certainly lacking in both quantity & quality. Togo bag did not include any condiments, silverware, or napkins. Portioning of veggies and protein was poor & taste was mediocre on both of the two different entrees. The food or service was by no means bad, just less than average. There are better options in town to get a better bang for buck.

This is the place the convinced me that I like pad thai. If you already like pad thai then you have a head start. It is so good that during the pandemic that I ordered take out from the Thai Lao Orchid so I could make sure that the best pad thai in town stuck around.

We get there. Stand by the door waiting to be seated...I see an older man coming towards me, he does but walks right by me and changes the open sign on the door to closed, then walks right past me again... so I then walk up to where the register is and wait for him to come that way he does but again acts as if I am not there, and leaves again. I still stayed and waited for him to come back and he did so I asked him for a menu and let him know I wanted to place a to go order. He gives me a paper menu and walks away.. I look over the menu and decide what I would like to order. I get his attention and let him know what I would like to order and he then tells me oh it will be an hour wait for a to go order. I was nice and said ok thank you, but why wouldnt of he said that earlier instead of ignoring me and Im guessing hope I go away. Wont be back.

Not bad local place. Will come again to try something new. Food is good, Thai ice tea is great. Was very quiet because we got there early. Lots of dining out and pick-up we noticed. I had the green curry. Didnt taste much curry. Seemed a little watered down. The rice pad Thai was delicious. Plates seem small if your trying to mix things together. Rice needs to be in separate bowl, so you can take a little at a time , not on the main plate. Not many people like their rice soaked for leftover which you will have.

Wow. The wife and I stopped by on Christmas Eve for dinner and was surprised by the great food; From the appetizers (egg rolls, Tom Vum) to the main dishes (Pad Se-Ew, Pad Prik King) you won t be disappointed. Excellent service! We ll be back.

Wow. By far worst customer service experience ever! Ordered food through menufy with pick up in an hour. Got there early and manager accused me of having someone else pick it up. Turned out he gave it to delivery guy on accident. When he realized mistake, I requested he make food over. He said he wouldn t because delivery guy was going to come back with it. And he would lose money if he made it again. Manager said his name is Johnny. I was hungry and didn t want to cook so had to wait an hour to get food from guy food was delivered to. Was fine with it until I got home and the order was completely mixed up. Restaurant was closed so waited till today to address it. Never ate the food. Well talked to same manager today and instead of resolving it with refund or do-over, he proceeded to tell me it was all my fault the order was made incorrectly even though request is clear on receipt. Have eaten here before and the food was good. But this kind of customer service is so bad. Think Johnny hates his job.

The food was good, save for the Thai fries, those are simply season fried and are not a good value. I learned the online pricing is significantly higher than ordering at the restaurant. The third party that is used marks up each dish. Just call the restaurant or order in person save the extra money.

The pad thai here was good.. its not the traditional pad thai Im used too. Something like how pho 4 star has. Its quite a bit sweeter. Not unhappy with it. Just not what I was expecting. The pad se ew was very good. The restraint was very clean and well put together. I was very pleased
