I had a business lunch here with about 7 other people, and our experience was great. I like the variety of food BJs offers as there is truly something for everyone on the menu. Food was very good, large portion sizes, and our service from Lindsey H was excellent-she was extremely attentive! Every time our drinks were low, shed come back around with a full glass so we never had to wait. Inside was clean and it was a great casual atmsophere for a business lunch-was very pleased with our experience and would absolutely return.

Ive been a loyal customer at this location for a long time, and the experience just keeps getting better. The app is a game-changer whether youre adding yourself to the waiting list for dine-in or ordering curbside, its super convenient. The perks and freebies are a great bonus too! BJ s even offers to-go alcoholic drinks, which I recently discovered when I ordered a Titos lemonade. For $15, you get a generous portion. The service here is consistently top-notch. Today, I ordered curbside, and Marissa assisted me. She was hands down the best server I ve ever had always a step ahead of what I needed. If shes working the next time I dine in, Im definitely requesting her section. She truly excels at what she does. Five stars all the way! Tito s Lavender Lemonade was yummy Blackened salmon is my go to but anything on the menu is good. Any pizookie you pick is going to knock your socks off!

I brought my family here for the first time. We had been to other locations but never to this one. The environment was super nice and had a very good vibe. We really liked the water fall out in the front of the restaurant. It was really nice at night. We ordered Chicken parmesan,some fries, a salad , a pizza and a dessert that was to die for. We had a great time as a family and will be going back for sure. The only issue is that they seemed short staffed and the wait time for the dessert was a little long. I recommend ordering while you are still eating but almost done so you wont be waiting for so long for dessert. it was fresh and delicious though. We had the cookies and cream ice cream on a cookie.

The reason I gave him such a slow review is because I ordered from their other company slow roast got steak. There was medium. Well I asked for medium rare. The steak was so tough. I had to toss out half of it. The millennial that answered couldn t fix my problem so to speak to a manager for the second time, and it was two minutes and he never came back. I am very dissatisfied with a place and their service and their food.

Great food and friendly staff. Is a little noisy though. We had table of 7 and I could not hear what was being said . The food was very good and nice presentation. I recommend this restaurant. A little pricey . Went again and had a great dinner. Atlantic Salmon with rice pilaf was delicious! Crispy appetizer, fish & fries and more. All was delightful and fresh . 14 for dinner. What can I say !!!! Pizza was great . Took 15 minutes to bring us chips and salsa . All the while our server walked past us like a zombie high on weed.. took out silverware to use napkin and all the utensils were dirty with food on them .. main concern was the service. Will eat here again but for take out only. New Braunfels location - service was sub-par. One of the entrees(nachos) came out Cold! It took so ling to get a new order we were ready to leave. The Dr. Pepper machine was broken. They brought it anyway. Replaced with waters and charged us anyway 3.75 each. Manager knew about the whole deal. Worst $80 meal.

I ve been here a few times and always enjoyed it, but be warned. I ordered delivery and maybe this is how they make them for dine in or they lack effort for delivery. See picture for the sliders. A dry patty cut into fours with nothing but a small dot of ketchup. For the price I would expect more effort. I genuinely rate toward the higher side but this looks like something made from a cheap hole in the wall with no food inspections. As an American, a cook, and soldier who has eaten food world wide, this would be an embarrassment to serve my family or friends.

I dont know what has happened to BJs but the quality of the food was terrible. The chip were stale, I ordered a Coors light and they gave me a michalob ultra and the five meat pizza was a cheese pizza with a couple of pieces of meat on it. It was the worse BJs I have ever been to. I have eaten at BJs in Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Baton Rouge, La. By far the worse.

Ordered takeout. Said it would be ready by 8:50pm. Get there at 8:53pm. After waiting 10 min for someone to come over at the takeout window..They tell me we are just waiting on that pizza to come out no problem. 20 min later I get my food. I take it less than 2 miles back to my home and absolutely everything is cold. Pizza is cold. Mozzarella sticks are cold. Pasta is cold. I literally turned on my oven to warm everything up. Our first time here and we had high hopes after seeing the menu online. The place looked nice and staff was friendly. Our waitress loved the word gotcha.... Now to the food. This was my cheat meal; filet mignon with Asparagus and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were the cheat. I love filet. The best cut of meat that never needs sauce...until now. That was not a filet It was thin and chewy and I had to cover it in. A1 to even like the taste. No seasoning, just bland meat. Thank goodness the vegetables were good. The appetizer was so so. Although the food is usually good, tonight was a disaster with the kitchen staff. We ordered couscous mac and cheese balls that were so undercooked that they fell apart when you tried to pick them up which left a gooey mess in your plate. And they had no seasoning or taste at all. The large 5-meat pizza was so undercooked that the dough was soft and gooey and tasted raw. The order of lemon-pepper wings was undercooked and wet and the lemon-pepper seasoning was left off. A burger was ordered well-done and came out extremely pink all the way through. It was sent back while everyone else was eating their meal. When the burger came back out, the meat was more pink than the first time, so they took it back to the kitchen again. The manager came out to apologize and said they promised to get it right the third time. And when it came out the third time, the inside was still very pink, and it had been cooked at such a high heat that the outside of the patty was black on both sides and tasted burnt. I refused to send it back again, so I took the meat off and ate a bun with just the lettuce and a slice of tomato. We ordered pizookies for dessert, and they had been cooked at such a high heat that the bottom was hard and stuck to the pan while the dough of the pizookie was under-cooked and almost raw. With something wrong with every item ordered, there was obviously a problem throughout the entire kitchen. If they have put in a new kitchen staff, much training obviously needs to take place immediately.

It was first time visiting this location which had good service and plenty of parking. The breadsticks tasted fresh and came with a delicious marinara sauce. The classic crispy chicken sandwich was bigger than we expected, was perfectly fried and crispy. The bread was toasted nicely, and the fries tasted good as well. It was the first time trying the pizza here and will definitely order it again. The pizza was very cheesy, dough was cooked perfectly, and came with plenty of toppings. The dessert was amazing.

We are frequent customers of BJs and 90% of the reason we come so often is our favorite server Holly. She is the most attentive, kindest and best server I have ever known. She sees us walk through the door and by the time were seated she has kids starter snacks on the table. As a mother with 2 under 3 this is a lifesaver. She is as thorough as she is kind. My kids split a kids meal and every time she brings them pre separated into 2 portions so the kids can tuck into their own meals right along with us. For any parents in the New Braunfels area who want to be able to have a beautiful family meal outside the house without the wait and the stress of trying to entertain impatient kids, go to BJs and ask for Holly! She even brings little toys to the table which has endeared her even further to us and our kids. She is truly the best and as long as we can find her at BJs thats where well be eating! Kid-friendliness: Holly our server always makes sure we have kids starters ASAP so the kids dont have to wait for food, gives them little toys to brighten their days and brings our split kids meal pre-portioned so we can all get to eating that much sooner. 10/10 kid friendly

Started out amazing! Drinks came pretty quick and so did the appetizer. We ordered a second round of chips while waiting for the food and only have the waitress stop by twice the next 15 mins asking if theyd brought them out yet, out food came before the chips. We get through the meal and order dessert and are waiting another 30 mins for that and a Togo pizza before we get it brought out after no longer really interested in sitting there for dessert. No drink refills while we sat and only asked about ordering another cocktail at the end of service. The personal pizza for $15 was by far the biggest waste of money and rip-off Ive ever paid for. The pizza was mostly thick crust with skimpy sauce and a fraction of toppings Id expect for that much money. This might have been the smallest pizza Ive ever seen.

The food and service was incredible! I actually came out to eat by myself, and it felt like I was never alone! My server, Sydney, was so kind and attentive. She was cracking jokes left and right and just had the best energy. It made my dining experience that much more enjoyable! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!!

Where to start... normally we enjoy BJs Restaurant & Brewhouse. Not this location. Had to teach the bartender how to make a proper black and tan. Could not keep it seperated since it was being poured backwards. First got a caesar sald. Was a typical boring caeser. Caesar was delivered and had to wait almost 10 minutes to get silverware sine the bartender was to busy talking with the 1 other person sitting at the bar besides my wife and I. Next the porckchop came out with broccoli and backed potato. Potato was a good baked potato. Broccoli was a frozen item and very overcooked. Pork chop was so over cooked it was shredding with just my fork cutting it. It was like eating flavorless pulled pork with 2 bones, not a porkchop. Last we had the mini buffalo chicken deep dish pizza and all i can say is imagine a cinnamon roll with out the cinnamon, sugar and icing and a little buffalo sauce a couple pieces of chicken and completely drenched in some type of flavorless dressing. Like i said earlier, we usually enjoy BJs Restaurant. I hope this extremely disappointing visit did ruin the chance of my wife letting us go to another BJs Restaurant. And before anyone says i should have said something there, we did tell the bartender the food was ehh, the response was let me know if you need anything else.

Kim is the reason we come weekly. We come after work at night and enjoy her recommendations and the amazing personality she has. This Bjs always has great food, the bar is always spot on with drink quality; and we ve never had any poor experiences when Kim is our waitress!

I am a regular customer at BJs Creekside in New Braunfels. I sit at the bar and finish paper work at the end of the day at least once a week. I was unhappy with an entree that I ordered regularly. My service from bartender Michael Bock is always excellent. I asked to speak to the mgr on duty about my dinner. Mgr Carly Bass came out to speak to me. I can t over emphasize her level of professionalism and genuine interest. She took the time to sit down and listen to my concerns. She oversaw the making of my entree and it was perfect. In a day where we have come to expect substandard service and food, these two employees stood out as a refreshing exception to the post(ish) Covid standard of ding and made my night. Thank you

We used to love this location. The drinks and service have always been great. However, the portions and food quality have taken a major hit within the last few years. Food comes out cold and the portions dont make sense given the price range of 20+ per plate. Sadly, we decided to blacklist this location after tonights experience. Not that BJs should necessarily care but, we are locals that have eaten here since it opened. I hope this location gets better.

Came in with my elderly mother and we were blown away by the service. When my poor mother started choking on an olive Maddy our waitress ran right over and saved her! The food was pretty good but we will definitely be coming back for the great medical care!!

We ordered a mini pizza and a medium rare filet mignon. The pizza was cold and they had to re-cook the filet mignon twice. By that point we wanted to leave. For the price you re paying for these entrees, they re not worth it.

When it comes to BJs, the worst part is their pick-up service. I dont always wish to bring my entire family out for a meal, and 3 out of 4 times, its been terrible to use their take out option. Either something is missing or cooked incorrectly, and they put little care into fixing it and it shows. My meal was not only wrong but after being corrected was dry around the edges and flavorless as a whole. My sides were cold and Im sure its because they were reused from my original plate. Im always deeply disappointed in the takeout and wouldnt recommend it for anyone. BJs just isnt equipped to handle this task. If you want to eat there, do yourself a favor and go into the restaurant. As for us, its definitely off our quick eat out night menu, were at our 3 strikes limit. Family night out only from now on in hopes of better quality food.

Got food poisoning from the Mahi Mahi tacos. The server was amazing especially considering it was the night before Thanksgiving. It did take us about 7 or so minutes to be helped at the front and get seated but that could be due to low staff levels. Atmosphere was relaxing and calming as always. Just really disappointed in food quality and food safety standards. Parking: Lots of spots for parking very accessible

The bartender Parker was amazing. Never stopped moving and didn t miss a beat. Our entrees were perfect, the drinks amazing and just the right amount of social engagement. The only drawbacks, the music felt like a mall clothing store from the 90s. Think American Eagle meets express. The pretzel with beer cheese needs help. Then pretzel lacked bite and flavor. The beer cheese lacked the beer flavor. I will be back to enjoy Parker s service and the Salads were perfect. Update 2nd, 3rd, 4th visit: Parker is no longer behind the bar, now there are lazy women who don t listen to orders and who have no social skills. Parker is now serving tables, I won t be sitting at the bar again. The food is in steady decline to the most recent visit where my chili came out without cheese, onions, or jalapeños and literally cold, do you keep this in the fridge? Chili was sent back and microwaved, all toppings given on the side, I was given back a hot bowl, but the chili was still cold, you have to be kidding. It wasn t even busy. My guest ordered the fish and it wasn t cooked properly, she had a side of steamed broccoli that was 100% raw and rotten stems. This doesn t feel like a 30$ meal. We did order the lemon pepper sesame seed wings (bone in) they were excellent and as a Buffalonian that s impressive. Our drinks were often empty. Parker saw us, as by now we were regulars and greeted us, and noticed our dining experience, even though we weren t in his section, and got the kitchen manager for us. They were kind enough to comp the cold chili and cold French fries and undercooked fish, but I doubt we will return. I had been spending about 400$/week here. Not again. You need more Parker s and less nose rings.

Had to change my review from 5 stars to 3. My 4th visit took a turn for the worst. Food was cold when I got it. I ordered extra stuff because it was on happy hour list. They DO NOT pay attention to giving customers advertised specials !! Bartender - margarita was terrible & wayyyyyy overpriced. I could have probably looked past most infractions except when I got the bill, I saw I was charged for everything full price ! NOT cool. I wont be back. Im going to give your neighbor (Longhorn steak house) a try.

never got to try any food. was really looking forward to that pazookie. wife and I were seated in a booth in the bar area. we sat there for 10 minutes waiting for a waiter or waitress to take our drink order. a couple was seated the booth behind me and a waitress was at there table instantly taken their drink orders. still no one acknowledged us. we sat patiently some more, about 10 minutes, and they sat another couple in the booth in front of me. Bam same thing a waitress took their drink orders instantly again. well Im pretty upset by now so we just walked out. I talked to the manager on my way out just so she would know what was going on. she offered to reseat us and take care of the problem, but I declined the offer. who wants an upset waiter bringing your stuff out after you just complained about them.

This place is great! I came here for lunch with my 2 kiddos and they were so accommodating. We started off with some drinks from the bar that were so good, and they brought out some complementary fruit and crackers for the kids while they waited for their food. The lunch specials are such a great deal and I highly recommend the chicken wings! We ended with some pizookies and had an overall great experience- will definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much to Amber for taking care of us we will be requesting her every time we come back. Kid-friendliness: Brought out a small complementary appetizer while they waited for their food.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered pickup online (chicken tenders). I had just moved to NB the afternoon prior, and had not been to the grocery store. BJs was busy, so I waited in my car until I received a message that my order was ready. There were 5 of us waiting for orders that were texted as ready for pickup. I understand it is a busy place, sports type bar, etc. One young lady was waiting on all of the to-go/pick-up customers, including door dash. I got home only to find that my (3) chicken tenders were way overcooked, and split lengthwise, and really dry. The dipping sauce didnt help with the overcooked chicken. The mound of iceberg lettuce bed under the tenders was brownish and tasted awful. Sorry, I will not return.

This was the WORST restaurant experience weve had ever! The server appeared unkempt. I ordered a gluten-free bun; my guest even mentioned it to the server. It was clear that I wanted a GF bun. My guest asked for sweet & low. The server ignored the first request and only brought it when flagged down. My guests order came; mine came with a regular bun. The server said oh I didnt hear you say that. Another person came to pick up my plate, asking if I had a gluten allergy. Like why are you ordering this? You pay a surcharge for GF so of course I would not pay extra if I did not have an allergy. My meal disappeared. Meanwhile my guest tried to flag down someone to get ketchup for his fries. This took several minutes; my meal was still missing. My meal came out after about 10 minutes, with a REGULAR bun. That was returned to the kitchen with another wait for it to be returned. The burger was raw in the middle. The sweet potato fries (which you also pay extra for) were slung all over the tray. The server never returned to refill tea glasses (cost $3.75 ea). I was also disappointed to see that they have removed the zucchini paste for the spaghetti and meatballs. That was the reason for going there; but we found other items to order. We will NOT return!

I just want to give a big shout out to our waitress Madison! We came for my daughters 10th birthday and she made sure her birthday dinner was amazing. She was quick to check on us and made sure we had everything we need and wanted. We can not thank her enough! Kid-friendliness: They cater to the children so well and make sure their experience is a great one. I love that they have complementary kids starters, that definitely helps keep the crazy kid hunger at bay.
