I took my niece to go see Parker McCollum, he put on an amazing show!! But I need to mention how GREAT the whole entire staff was this busy Labor Day weekend, they were extremely attentive at attendees getting dehydrated in the crowd, EMS was very swift and took great care of everyone. The staff gave out free waters all throughout the show and the tickets handlers/ security at the door were very pleasant!

Nice venue for an outdoor show. General admission is the way to go and it was amazing to see Turnpike Troubadours outdoors at night here. Even though it wasnt a typical hot summer in September, there was free water available and all the staff selling food/drinks/merch were very friendly. Great experience all around.

Whitewater Amphitheater is a great outdoor venue with friendly staff and an overall safe environment. My one complaint is focused around their new ticketing provider. They used to handle ticketing in-house and they were so accommodating and eager to help the customer out. Ever since they switched to Tixr, a third-party ticketing provider, its a hassle to refund, exchange, transfer tickets to other members of your party, etc. Im sure it lightens the load of WWA staff to outsource ticketing, but its now a pain for the customer.

I ve had some good times here, but my experience trying to see The Turnpike Troubadours there was terrible. My partner and I are in our mid-60s with bad hips and absolutely cannot stand for extended periods of time without substantial pain at the moment and for days thereafter. I will be having my right hip joint replaced this fall. When we bought our tickets, we requested ADA accessible seating. The normal ADA seats were unavailable, but there was an option to be placed on the ADA Wait List. Two days before the show we were notified that we were removed from the wait list because there was no ADA seating available for us. I believe that the ADA Wait List is a deceptive business practice because it induces the buyer to buy tickets with the expectation that some ADA Accommodation would be made and then at the last minute the buyer is notified that no ADA seats are available. When that notification was made, no alternative ADA Accommodation was offered. Bottom line: we bought the tickets and couldn t use them. They refused to refund our money, even though they induced us to purchase them with promises the ADA issue could later be resolved and then it wasn t and we lost our money. I m not sure we will ever go back here.

I go to this venue often and always buy left wing seats. Turnpike is my favorite band and I was very excited to learn they were coming to WhiteWater. I bought left wing seat G1 and G2 for $337.08. We got to our seats and could not see the stage. Seat 1 is next to the railing, which is higher than the seat, so you have to look through the bars in order to see anything. The issue with row G, is that the roof of the bar next to the stage hangs over, blocking more of the view. We literally could not see the stage. Before the concert started, we went to the staff and talked to AJ. After explaining the situation and expressing that we would be willing to sit in any other seat, or be willing to go to the next nights show, his response was you can come tomorrow, but you have to buy more tickets . He acknowledged that we got screwed (his words), but because we used the tickets to get in, there was nothing he could do. We explained we had to get in to sit in the seats and realize we could not see, but it seemed as if he was trained to shut people down. We talked to his manager, who said neither she or her boss could comp wing tickets. We stood for one song, but decided to just leave the show, as this was not the experience we paid for. They obviously have zero concern for customer satisfaction and only care about getting their money.

This alone makes the evening that much better leading up to the concert. The bands sounded amazing! I definitely look forward to seeing more shows in the future here.

What a total S show this place is. Starting with staff screaming at you walking to the gates. Stand in line to get an alcohol wristband. Stand in line at the gate. Stand in line at security. Only to stand in line at more gates before they allow seating. Ask you to download an app to speed up concessions. Only to find out there is no cell service in that area! If you Ubered there you are screwed. They admitted that after shows people are stranded because no cell service renders the apps useless. We had to pay $100 for a ride back to a New Braunfels hotel on I-35. We will never see a show there again. It s not worth the trouble

It was hotter than blue blazes. Ya would think with a river right beside it, there would be misters criss crossing above ya throughout the venue, but nope. There are maybe 3 oscillating misters that just tease ya. Beers are $9, cocktails start out at like $13 and you have to pay $20 if youre handicap, have a state issued plaquard and need to park close to the entrance. Didnt have to a couple years ago, but apparently ya do now and that wasnt too cool.

We werent sure what to expect. This is a pretty awesome place to rent your tubes and the shuttle was very speedy. We never waited for the shuttle at all. The good thing about this place that we did not understand when we started was they shuttle you at the beginning to drop you off, and you float all the way back to your vehicle. So if you dont want to go around the horseshoe again you can just go to your car and leave.

Last night, on June 28th, I attended my first visit to Whitewater Amphitheater for a concert featuring Reckless Kelly, The Steel Woods, and Bri Bagwell. It was an exceptional experience. Prior to my visit, I took advantage of the wealth of information available on their website and social media know before you go posts, which helped me prepare adequately. Despite being an outdoor venue, I was impressed by the high level of cleanliness maintained at Whitewater, setting a standard that other entertainment venues should aspire to. The staff demonstrated professionalism throughout the evening. Special mention goes to Johnny Bibbs Jr., whose approachable demeanor as a security personnel ensured everyones safety without compromising the enjoyment of the event. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to Whitewater Amphitheater.

I was unlucky enough to go on a hot day and I had to leave before the show started because I was already feeling like I couldnt breathe. There arent many services and no hydration stations or anything like that: if you dont want to die you have to stand in long, slow lines to buy water. My friends who stayed at the show told me that many people fainted and had to be treated.

The app crashed a dozen times when trying to close my tab and by the time I was able to connect to it again the bar had graciously given themselves a 25% tip on my wifes card. Im all for tipping, but eff that. No signs that said theyd do that, we would happily tip a dollar or more per drink but at the venue drink prices 25% is insane. Venue needs to stop using this process or install better wifi that can actually support the need. Really leaves a bad taste in your mouth when places do this. I have a hard time believing the venue isnt paying bartenders well based on the drink prices alone.

This is a most excellent, authentic Texas open-air venue. Most of the tickets are general admission, which means standing (no, you cannot bring in chairs, coolers, etc -- buck up, or buy reserved seats). Excellent acoustics, you can stand literally just a few feet from the performers. Plenty of beverages (adult and otherwise) and food -- like other venues this is cashless. The great difference here is you can open a tab for the night. Parking is ample but if it rains plan to bring your truck or 4-wheel drive since the lot is dirt and grass. The staff really know how to run a tight operation -- it took us 2 minutes to get parked, and only 5 minutes to leave despite a full house of 5,600. It can rain, and can get hot so bring appropriate clothing if rain is in the forecast. You can bring a small handheld fan as well as cooler neckerchiefs. Come and enjoy a night of music under the Texas sky, youll be glad you did! UPDATE 5/17/24: Another great concert tonight! This venue does an amazing job of crowd control, in addition to all its other features. Every member of staff is helpful, friendly, respectful and engaging. If youve never been to an outdoor venue, this is the perfect place to be your first!

Great venue!!!! It needs some work to become a premier concert venue for Austin and San Antonio folks to attend. The first is parking. Parking can be very confusing as the signs do not explain which parking lot you are pulling into. Second, security isn t experienced enough to process large crowds. They were inconsistent with everyone. The third is the reason for the rating. We witnessed someone get injured in the crowd and first responders casually walked to the incident. Security at the front of the stage work well in trying to resolve the issue. Concert memorabilia lines are horribly set up. Prices are high for drinks and food but understand it is a venue. Food and drinks were great. Specialty drinks are watered down as they will fill the entire 24oz cup with ice then add the drink giving you only about 10oz of drink. The sound quality is okay for being outside. The staff around the venue were great and wanted to help. We will attend again just need to add this shot of reality is all.

This is a great venue. It is outdoors so its dusty and hot or cold depending on the time of year. General admission gets you in front of the stage but without seating. I loved it.

This avenue has many options for all ages like seating or standing. It has a refreshments bar. However there is a 20.00 dollar parking fee with credit card only. There are tables to sit in the back and restrooms.

Considering the 98 degree weather when our show started at 9pm, the venue was amazing and everyone there was great! There isn t a bad spot in the entire amphitheater.

This is an epic venue! It has character and is not too big (a venue can never be too small). The only downside was it was a little crowded at the exits..
