Upsetting because this is one of my favorite burger places. I loved going here until I was met with a nasty attitude and my fries were burnt twice. I thought maybe it was just an accident the first time cause everyone else s looked fine. So I ordered another and they came out dry and dark brown. I looked over at the next persons order coming up and the fries were fresh and not brown at all. I just feel like the people that work there either hate regulars or just like to mess with peoples food. Take your business elsewhere.

This location is hit or miss. The food is always good, but the service can be spotty depending on which manager is on duty and probably a few other factors. And the restaurant itself frequently looks like it could use a good deep cleaning, hence 2 stars on atmosphere. I also joined the rewards program and was told (by the cashier and manager) the item I ordered wasnt part of that (even thought it was). Corporate corroborated that it should have been a reward item and made the appropriate adjustments to my account. So just be careful about how you redeem things at this location. The sometimes get that wrong.

First time at Freddy s and it will definitely be the last. Customer service is terrible the girl at the drive thru had a very bad attitude and after paying $60 for our food and getting home to eat (10 min away) the ice cream is water and the food is well below comparable restaurants in the area. I ll stick to sonic for my ice cream treats and chick fil a good night dinner

Ive tried on a few separate occasions to like freddys. This has nothing to do with the employees or service, but the food is just boring. Burger, chili cheese fries, hot dog, shakes. All bland and no wow factor that makes me say I gotta come back for that. Ive wanted to like this place for years.

We brought a large group of 25. We did two separate orders for our meals and then desserts. The staff was so friendly and professional. Our food came out quickly and as far as I know everything was accurate. It was the perfect quick stop with something for everyone in our group.

I can t give a bad review because the food is amazing. However the drive through is always a mess. You have to repeat every single order. They constantly make mistakes and the wait is unbelievable at times. It is such an easy fix. Train and have the proper tools they need to hear. Cheers to improvements because we all could use some.

I just want to start off by saying that I LOVE Freddy s. I m a sucker for the custard and my husband loves their burgers. Just tonight (4/4), I had ordered a sweet tea and was told by the employee that the tea was souring and going bad. This employee felt uncomfortable selling me bad sweet tea, HOWEVER, the GM of this establishment was apparently still pushing for this employee to sell me the bad sweet tea. What the hell is that??? I m pregnant right now and am so grateful to this employee who refused to sell me bad tea. But what the hell is this GM doing pushing a BAD product onto customers? That is really appalling behavior from a GM and I think more people should be aware of this. Who knows what other bad products this GM pushes the employees to still send out. I really don t feel comfortable eating from this location anymore after that behavior from the GM of all people. I will be posting more places to make people aware of this.

Ate here for lunch as I was driving through town heading to work. Cashier was friendly and attentive, let me finish ordering without interruption. Didnt have attitude that a lot of workers at other places of employment have these days. Sat and ate my meal, didnt take too long receive it. Let me preface by saying I love the Freddys franchise as a whole, and I used to love coming to this location in particular. It was a staple for us to stop by on summer nights after a day at Schlitterbahn. (Which is also going downhill thanks to the new corporate management.. different review for a different time ) Those days are sadly gone. The past few times weve eaten here, the food was stale and room temp at best. The concretes we ordered were mostly custard, hardly any mix ins. Everything about the store looked grungy and dirty- the counters, floors, tables, all of it really. Youll want to examine any surface before touching, because theres a good chance its gonna be sticky. The employee are a mix of teen and elderly folks who all seem to be varying degrees of confused, angry and annoyed. This place really needs a management overhaul, or sadly to just pull the plug. The review about the place seeming to have died is pretty spot-on. I really hope someone can turn this place around.

Not sure what happened to this place it was always a good place for a fast food burger. This place now has a smell hit you when you open the door. The day we went there were no fries available so we had to order alternatives with the up charge for doing so. There were no lids available for drinks of which the fruit punch was definitely off tasting. This place appears to have died and the coroner needs to come and start an investigation as to why.

I was hungry and decided to try this place. I have driven past it several and usually keep going, but I was feeling like a burger and a steak burger sounded good. Well, unfortunately, we could never taste the food. The service at the drive to Window was horrible. The cashier had a bad attitude from hell. I dont remember her name, neither do I care to. I was with my brother-in-law, who was actually from Bangladesh. And he speaks very good English. So it was not as if he couldnt speak English well enough. It was just that she could not listen well. Also It seemed as if she didnt even want to be there. She had got order wrong 3 times in a row. In a fourth time, and A fifth time at the window. And then proceeded to argue with my brother-in-law. About what he said instead of just correcting the order. There was no need to rectify what mistakes were made in communication. All that was needed is that the order was corrected so we can all eat and be happy. So, ultimately, my brother-in-law decided to cancel the order and drive off. We ended up going to Whataburger and received excellent customer service and outstanding food. Sorry, freddys, but I guess thats why your parking lot. Looks like a ghost town anyways.

There was a spider crawling on my plate! Almost every table was dirty and I saw puddles of ice on the floor that no one bothered to clean up the entire time. The cashier was yelling at her coworkers and told all the customers not to use the trash can because it didn t have a bag. My wife and I dropped by this joint to get a bite to eat. We got us some 2 Classic Burgers, 2 Fries, and 2 Frozen drinks. I needed some grilled onions on my burger, and they happily obliged. We got home, and the burgers we had bitten into were juicy and delicious.The fries, not so much, were not good to us. They must have cooled off quickly due to being thinly cut. Not just being cold, but the flavor as well, but we will get them a second try in the future. The fries just were not our cup of tea.

Very unprofessional restaurant. Came by yesterday and although being helped by a nice young man at the counter, he was unable to make my drinks because he was waiting for what appeared to be 3 managers screaming at each in front of everyone. The employee stood behind them awkwardly and waited for them to finish but they never did. This was all happening in front of the dessert prep area. After waiting a bit, I finally told him to just let me get the drinks myself from the lobby. Meanwhile, there s another employee, young female, who is yelling from the lobby to her team whoever is taking orders in drive thru needs to hurry the hell up. I only do deliveries for DoorDash. I don t eat here because almost every visit is as bad as this one. The kitchen looks incredibly unsanitary also. This was between 7:30PM-8PM, and again, really glad the young man at the counter was helping me. He was very mature and professional, more than his so called manager who was screaming at his team members. Hire coaches, not dictators!

Wow! Burgers are off the chain. They are alot like smashburger mixed with a touch a five guys. Smashburgers I believe is a Colorado thing. But this is closest u will get. Not too pricey unless u decide on a custard or shake. They are good but pricey. I had the pepper jack jalapeño burger which was nice and spicy and I cooled off with onion rings with honey mustards and the pb and banana shake. Perfect. Food was pretty good, lost points for being understaffed and the restaurant was really dirty. Tables were not being cleaned which was very unfortunate.

Extremely disappointed with this location. No fries at the time of my visit and I asked why I should be up charged for onion rings when it s not my fault they re out of fries. The employee said because they re onion rings and the manager won t be back with fries for another 30-45mins They don t put the chicago style relish on their hotdogs anymore. The combo with the burger and dog aren t an option anymore. Freddys s is overpriced now for what you get. I spent $41 for three combos, and a hotdog. The employees were playing around and the dining area was a mess. No lids for the cups. I won t be stopping here anymore.

Been a regular for probably going on 5 years now. Atleast once a week. Sierra and her staff do an absolutely amazing job. The cooks that normally work during the week are the absolute best. I had one last week when they were off for vacation and it was a sub par burger to say the least. Very undercooked. Super disappointed. Got another one today and we are back to being the best fast food burger around. Please do what you can to keep them around.

Hands down the best burgers in new braunfels. A manager helped me find my new favorite menu item, the grilled chicken sandwich! I think his name was david. the dinning room was super clean and my order was out fast! I would recommend to friends and family. Or anyone that s hungry haha!

Teach your employees to stay off phone when customer is ordering. No wonder my order was wrong. In my business, thats grounds for terminating. If you need to be on your phone, clock out and go somewhere away from customer to be on phone. Manager was right there, too. Facility was dirty. Employees playing in the back. Now I know why I beg my family to not go there.

At 8:30 PM, I ordered a shake and 2 Sundays. The manager came by to let me know that the custard is only thick enough for a shake because they were pre-closing. So I canceled the Sundays and kept the shake. They dont close till 10 pm. If I had known this, we wouldnt have eaten dinner here. Needless to say, we ended up at Daily Queen. We got our Sundays... Dairy Queen and Freddies both close at 10pm, so Im not sure why Dairy Queen can keep serving ice cream till close when Freddies cant sustain custard past 8:30pm... learned my lesson, when in doubt, just go to Dairy Queen. I dont usually write reviews, but this is the 3rd time Ive been to this location and couldnt get custard.

I love going to Freddys. Down around here its easily a top 3 place to go for food and fighting for #1 for desert. I really dont like to take stars away for something so temporary. I have 2 gripes about this location but its not an all the time thing. The biggest one, is cleanliness. The place in the last maybe 6 months has become gross with everything being sticky. Hot water and cleaning solution a few times a day or if spills happen, address them before it spreads. The second is staff that is there to work, not goof off with friends. For the most part its been a non issue regarding customers. However if you got time to mess about, grab a mop. So just to be clear, food and custard is on point. Some of the best in the south, especially for a franchise.

The girl taking our order in the drive through did not take our orders correctly after telling her 3 times. We ordered 2 regular turtle Sundays. The ice cream was very soft (melting), there was no chocolate and very little carmel and pecans. Only one Sunday had a cherry. We have always been very satisfied going to Freddys; unfortunately, this was a very poor experience, the employees seemed frazzled and the girl taking orders at the window requires more training. We will try again in the future.

Not sure what happened in there today. After I ordered, I sat in the drive-thru for 15 min. Watched the young lady in the back have no sense of urgency. Picking up food with her gloves(after wiping her hand on her nose and ears) out of the fryer instead of tongs the hamburger was just thrown together(at least that is what it looked like when I opened the box.

Service last night was awful. There were 3 workers in the building with no customers inside and we were the only ones in the drive through. We ordered 2 shakes and it took 30 minutes to get them. To start when we went to order we could not hear the person speaking because of how loud the co-workers were in the background. Once we were at the window 2 workers were making their own food and eating the french fries out of the fry bend and yelling at each other. Our server was trying to make our shakes while trying to work around the other 2. When he handed me the first shake it was covered in custard on the outside when I asked him if he could wipe it off he acted put out and never handed us a straw or spoon. When he handed me the 2nd shake he said thanks for coming. I then had to ask for a straw and spoon to which he said Oh, you want a straw and spoon. The 2nd shake was not even a shake as you had to eat it with a spoon.
