Went there to check it out for an upcoming event. Its a very large place, lots of dining areas, as well as 4 different sized, separate rooms for large groups or parties. Charming atmosphere. Theres no A/C, but large open windows, which can be closed, and lots of ceiling fans. The restrooms are air-conditioned though.

My niece just got married here over the weekend; 06-01-2024. Easily accessible, plenty of parking and the both venues are large enough to accommodate. After the ceremony, we had to wait for 1.5 hours, while the reception area was being prepared. No chairs outside to sit down on. As you walk inside towards the restrooms, there is a couch for max 6 adults. Aks about chairs as you wait...or youll need to walk to your vehicle and wait there.

The Chandelier of Gruene is the perfect venue for anyone looking to get married in the Hill Country. I knew the moment I visited the grounds I wanted to get married there! The Chapel is classic and elegant. Its open air design and large picture windows makes you feel like you are standing under the oak trees. The entire setting is just DREAMY! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful through the entire process. We are so happy we were married at The Chandelier!

Love this venue and these people! Ive been to several weddings here before and just had my own here recently and have loved it every time! The venue itself is gorgeous and provides the best backdrop to a beautiful day. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process - you get exactly what they promise on the tour and in the contract. Especially if you are considering a large wedding, I do not think there is a better venue in the area!

The Chandelier of Gruene is the most amazing wedding venue, we are so glad we chose this beautiful place. It was the only venue we toured and we immediately knew it was our place. The property is SO beautiful no matter the weather. The staff is so helpful throughout the planning process, they answered our millions of questions which made planning so much easier. On the wedding day they made sure we had everything we needed and they worked so well with all of our vendors we had booked. The house on property is perfect for wedding party guests to stay after the wedding. THE perfect wedding chapel!! My husband and I had a very specific vision for a white chapel to get married in, and we came across this space and booked without even touring. It somehow is even more gorgeous in person!!! From the first time we stepped on the grounds to the wedding day, we felt so taken care of by Haley! We were chapel-only since we had our reception at a separate venue, but she was so gracious to try her best to work with us to accommodate our vision and desires amidst the specific inclusions and exclusions that come along with only booking the chapel. Our pictures our stunning and we will cherish the memories we made here for years to come!!

I started following this venue on IG years before I even met my husband because of how beautiful it is. I never thought I would actually be able to have my wedding there, so it was an absolute dream venue. The open-air chapel is gorgeous, and there are sides that can be pulled down in bad weather. It rained on our wedding day, and having the sides down did not detract from the atmosphere a bit. The reception hall is huge, and the bride and groom suites are really nice. We got ready off-site, but we still used the suite to change, do touch-ups, and hang out during photos and until the ceremony. The outdoor areas at the venue are also nice, even though we didnt get to use them because of the weather. The parking lot is really big and paved, and there is a circle drive for drop-offs. The staff were really responsive throughout planning and were always really clear with expectations and procedures. I really loved this venue!

The venue is very beautiful. First class construction. The wedding chapel was beautiful. They threw out food for the deer which were around during the service. We loved it. The reception building was beautiful with the timber framing. Excellent architecture. The grounds were wonderful with the large old oak trees. All well thought out and executed.

The most beautiful venue that has everything you need! I recently got married here and had a great experience. The staff was easy to work with and had an open line of communication the entire time. Simply amazing! This venue is absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny! During our wedding planning process and search for the perfect wedding venue, my now husband and I toured nine places. The Chandelier of Gruene was in the middle but none of the others compared. The only reason it wasnt the first on the list is because we initially wanted a date in 2022 and they didnt have many options due to everyone having postponed. We found a date that worked for us and the venue and I couldnt be happier. Once we booked, everything fell into place! I loved that they have one price regardless of how many guests and dont charge vendors any fees. Plus the rustic elegance of the venue allowed me to save money on decor. If I had to do it all over again, I would book them in a heart beat! Thanks for letting us be a part of the family :)

Several months ago I had a work event here and as I was walking past the chapel all lit up one of my co workers asked if I could see myself getting married here, I immediately said YES! Fast forward a few months, it was time to pick our venue and although I was highly encouraged to look at several venue my heart was set on The Chandelier of Gruene. Coming from a bride that has worked in the events world - anyone that complained about their experience at the Gruene in past reviews either didnt communicate properly or didnt thoroughly plan. Its a complex event and easy to blame a vendor - The Chandelier does it right. They have rules for a reason to protect themselves and everyone, it takes a lot of care and attention to detail to ensure a wedding is executed correctly. The Chandelier is THE PLACE to get married at in New Braunfels. We got ready at the venue, got married at a local church, and then had our reception back at the Chandelier. Their entire crew was so supportive, organized and helpful. We loved working with them too. Rental pricing is on par with everyone else. The wedding venue industry is highly competitive and for the venue space that The Chandelier encompasses, youre getting more than your moneys worth. They even provide golf cart transportation for elderly and handicapped from the parking lot to the venue in their pricing. Its a family owned and run venue, so take the time to get to know their staff. If you build relationships with business partners beyond handing a check over and making demands, theyll be willing to go above and beyond with you. We LOVED getting married here and now several of our cousins will likely as well. 110% recommend The Chandelier!

It is a really pretty place to have a wedding and a reception. The only complaint I have is the acoustics are VERY lacking. If you were not sitting in the front row in the chapel you could not hear a thing. Then during the reception you could only hear about 50% of the words when they made speeches. Much could be done to improve this and for the price of this place they should be happy to improve. Also need refrigerators in the dressing rooms. Food left out all day has to be thrown away.

Had our wedding here. It turned out looking really beautiful and all our guests loved it. Even though it was a summer wedding and we were worried about it being too hot, our guests really enjoyed going outside in the evening and hanging out with the deer when there was a break in the programming. The venue owners/managers are really on top of scheduling, which is good for making sure things turn out smoothly. You also have to contract all the vendors separately which is a hassle, but we had no issues with largely sticking with their preferred set of vendors. For just a venue rental, I think it was a pricier option for us but you pay for what you get!

Haley and Chelsea are both such sweet people and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I bombarded them with questions for over a year and they never seemed to mind. I am ABSOLUTELY shocked to read any negative review about this venue! I would leave them a thousand star review if I could. The staff is so kind and professional. The Chandelier of Gruene was the first venue we looked at, and honestly we should have stopped there because no other place came close to matching the beauty of this one. After looking at a few other places the staff was happy to give us a second tour and answer all of our questions again! From the second we booked them until after our wedding they were extremely responsive and helpful. I emailed them on several occasions asking for their insight or opinions on how to make my vision a reality (I mean after all who knows more about the grounds then them) and every time they provided so much help and guidance. Above and beyond is an understatement! My husband and I wanted the perfect mix of rustic and elegance and The Chandelier provided just that. The moment I visited this venue I knew instantly this is where my wedding would be. To say it is beautiful is an absolute understatement! This venue will take your breath away and take you to a whole other place. So when they announced their 4th Annual Open House would be taking place, it was a must that I go. It was such an experience! Being my first time to attend a venue open house I did not know what to expect, and wow was I in for a surprise- Good surprise of course! Meeting so many vendors all at one time. Best idea ever!!! I am so excited and feel incredibly blessed to be getting married here at the Chandelier of Gruene this coming November! This family owned business has been nothing short of amazing and very communicative with the wedding process and very helpful when I have questions arise. Pictures are from my first time touring the venue. I ve since returned for their open house and that was amazing too. They put on a lovey event that made me feel at ease after leaving because I got to speak with vendors and see their work in action so it was tremendously helpful. This was the venue of my dreams because of the white chapel & the bell! It s so charming and my family who has seen sneak preview pics of the location are all blown away. The reception hall is located on the property. They have a beautiful landscape with trees and deer surrounding the area and even more convenient is their lodging on the premises for out of town guests. I was a bridesmaid for my sisters wedding here and my advise is to not book here. They are way over priced and not professional. I was also the makeup artist and the staff continued to have us in heat the day of the wedding. They continued to raise the temp for the AC and make your guest very uncomfortable by over supervising.The only thing this place has is a nice view for pictures. They never answer their phone, and makes the bride text them when someone was trying to reach them. They demand every vender that is part of the reception to have insurance and they only have a specific list of venders that you can use but they do not coordinate anything for you. They demand for you to get a wedding planner, but still harass the bride. And even after your wedding they continue to harass the bride. They are quick to take your money and quick to move on from you. They don t value your guest or anyone concerns your guest have. They dismiss any complaint.

What an absolute dream venue and staff! The venue is straight out of a fairy tale and the staff is as nice as can be! I am so so happy that I chose Chandelier of Gruene for my wedding venue. Myra, Haley and Chelsea made everything so seamless and helped me up to the very last day. It was a dream to get married here. My sister got married here and I was extremely disappointed with the service they provided! It is a gorgeous place but the customer service is absolutely terrible! Every time my sister called they never answered and told her to TEXT them in advance so they could answer the phone! The day of the wedding the DJ arrived to test his sound and the staff told him to turn down the music and STOOD there until the volume was to THEIR liking. The day of the wedding the bride, my sister, was getting hot so we turned down the AC and the staff came into the bridal room and TURNED UP THE AC! The days approaching the wedding the staff was NOT helpful. They told my sister it was HER responsibility and NOT THERES! This is because the wedding planner was getting push back as well! It was difficult for her do her job so my sister was stressed! The place is beautiful but if my sister could have chosen another place she would have! She had no idea they would be this difficult. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Too much stress for the bride and groom. The only reason the bride has not submitted a negative review is simply because she does not want to be harassed by your company as you have harassed my mom. Word of mouth is a powerful thing. Learn from the reviews and move forward.

Although the place is BEAUTIFUL they do not offer anything extra. EVERYTHING is for rent. My daughter and her bridesmaids were in the bridal room when the manager walks in to ask how we were. In the process she turned the ac up to where she and her bridesmaids were SWEATING. They had resorted to opening the windows, thank goodness there was a slight breeze. Our wedding coordinator took it upon herself to turn it back down and make them comfortable. We were being watched the whole time there. We had to text to let them know when someone would be contacting them to make sure they answers the phone. We left behind our rose garlands on the swing. Instead of holding on to them in a lost in found or something similar to that, they claimed they got thrown out. Being they do not answer their phones it was very hard to get in touch with them right away. Our DJ was told that he was TOO loud and monitored until he brought it down. Again, BEAUTIFUL location but I would NEVER go here again. Unless you want your bride sweating and watched on every single move youre making. For the amount of money you pay you would think they would try to take care of you & the couple. Only giving them 2 stars considering the location is nice. Customer service, blah

Warm, welcoming, beautiful and elegant. Been here for two separate events as a guest. Both events went smoothly and the venue is gorgeous even before decor. The most recent wedding had spectacular weather for the ceremony and there was a bunch of deer that attended from a distance also. Once inside, the walk-in hall area is perfect for a guest signing area and the well-kept restrooms are separated, one to each side of the walk in hallway. Plenty space for tables to be spread out, but not too far from any other tables. Nice sized dance floor and a stage well suited for a DJ or small band set up. Awesome venue!

The Chandelier of Gruene was the absolute dreamiest wedding venue! The ease of having the chapel, the reception hall and even lodging all at the same place was beyond amazing! The staff was very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. The beauty of the chapel and reception hall made decorating so easy. The Chandelier of Gruene was definitely our dream venue! They were so helpful with everything wedding planning and prepping for the day of the wedding! The venue beautifully speaks for itself and needing minimal decorations. The only issue that we has was the day of the wedding we were promised to have both the bridal and grooms suite locked with a code. after asking multiple times for this it was never done and created an issue in the suites. It created a second hangout spot and it was hard to remove people from it.
