This was my first time at Zaxbys, which I had been looking forward to checking out. I ordered the tacos, which looked great on the menu board. What I received was very disappointing. The chicken was about 1/ 2 the width of the tortilla. There was barely any lettuce, tomatoes, and condiments. I ended up adding all contents into 1 tortilla. The food was barely even warm.

This was my first visit to Zaxby s and although the food was average, Jacob, the drive-thru attendant was fantastic. He was very polite and professional while helping take our order. Definitely a great example of excellent customer service. We really loved the handcrafted lemonades. The funnel cake was meh.

We frequent a different Zaxby s location and this was our first visit to this one. The woman in the drive thru was extremely rude and after each thing I said she would tell me to pull up, before the order was done. When I pulled up I wasn t greeted, just given the drink and handed my payment over. I asked for extra napkins to which I was told there are some in the bag . I pulled into a spot to check the order (3 napkins were in the bag for 4 meals ordered) and noticed we were missing part of our order entirely. I walked back in and before I could open the door, was handed a box saying sorry. Poor experience

Worst experience. 1st time at this location. Husband and I ordered same thing. We waited forever for food and there was nobody in there. With in a matter of bites my husband was running to toilet. I all of the sudden started feeling neasous started feeling weak and cold. Came straight home miserable. I have never had something come over me like that!

Went through drive through and asked for a 10 piece boneless wings, price on drive through menu was around 10.99, asked for two flavors and got charged for two separate 5 pieces at 7.99 each. Do the math, that s an overcharge. Went inside and called the store for no resolution or accountability of the overcharge was just told that s how they do it, without informing cust of overcharge. To top it off get home and still get bone in wings rather than the boneless. Tasted terrible so got trashed anyways.

Thought Zaxbys was the same as McAllisters. Its not. The food was really good. I had wings and things, came with the best fries Ive tasted in a long time. Self serve drinks with any combination. The person working the register on 7/11/23 around 8:45pm was very nice polite and professional. Made us feel welcome and not annoyed we came in so late. They do close at 10pm during the week which is a big plus.

Combos 1-5 aren t even on the drive thru menu. The drive thru cashier at 12:19pm on 03March was not having it and did not seem to want to be at work. Maybe she needs some time off? She took forever to take our order. And was not very knowledgeable on the menu. Very bland attitude. And it took FOREVER to get my food. Sandwich was floating in sauce that did not taste good. The chicken was rubbery and tasted like it was old and had been reheated. Im editing this review because I looked down at some of the other reviews and saw that one of the gentleman that worked there for 3 months admitted that the general manager often saves chicken and reheats it the next day to save money rather than cooking fresh. I do believe this reflects the terrible rating this store has Ive been to others and it is much better! Not impressed wont be back.

I had actually never been to a Zaxbys before. I felt like I was eating Raisin Canes. This restaurant is clean, that is what stood out the most to me. The Food was exactly as expected but there was nothing that made it unique for me. The service so left something to be desired, not bad... Just not customer service and more of an order taker with zero extra words dispensed that was not just taking our order. Overall I would give them 3 and a half stars but thats not an option.

The last two times I ve gone through the drive through, they ve completely botched the orders, even after the order taker verified the orders. The first were Cobbs missing the bacon, egg, and without the extra chicken we paid extra for. We didn t realize this until we were home. The second time were Cobbs again missing ingredients and had cheese that we asked to have removed from both salads. It had to be sent back twice. It took over 30 minutes to get the order. I could also hear the cook get upset (made a loud noise) he had to remake it. The young ladies at the window were sweet but otherwise disappointing experiences at this location.

We waited 32 minutes for our order (2 snack meals, 1 finger plate, and 2 kiddie fingers). For 7 of those minutes, the foot was sitting in the window with nobody to actually hand it to us. Upon receiving it, two of the items were completely wrong (Kickin Chicken instead of kids meals). They corrected it, but it took a while and was still incomplete. We ordered at 8:00 and actually started eating at 8:40. Food was good even a little cold. Everyone at the store was pleasant, but this location isn t living up to the Zaxby s name.

We heard good things about Zaxbys so opted to give it a try. The chicken on the sandwich was dry and very oily. My wife had chicken fingers which were better. The fried pickles were good until the bottom layer where we found about a 1/4 inch of grease. White Cheddar bites were the star, and very good. Fries were lackluster. Based on this trip not sure if try a Zaxbys again.

Very disappointing location. Staff was very unprofessional. The girl sighed when we drove up and tried to refuse service because they were closing soon. They closed in 15 mins but we came all the way from San Antonio after a long day for a treat. They said our meal would take 20 mins and we said that was okay. When we pulled up to the window to pay they we re complaining. We waited among a line of cars they asked to pull into parking spots. The same girl came out with a meal as we parked asking what we ordered even though there were many other cars waiting longer than us. After she found the car, she walked back to the drive thru window and literally jumped back into the drive thru window (?). I understand it was late and they wanted to go home but no need for the negative attitude

I don t like leaving bad reviews, but pricey, & an a bad experience. 2 stars because staff was nice, fries were good, & zaxby s sauce -Chicken tenders are like chicken nuggets, tiny & not even crunchy. -The boneless wings were hard. -The sandwich bread uncooked, the cheese cold, barely any sauce, & my bacon over cooked. I had to pay for an additional sauce packet to even enjoy the sandwich & honestly kinda pricey for what it is. After this experience I m never coming back to Zaxbys again, unfortunately.

When I had an issue the General manager Eric was quick to resolve it in a professional manner which I appreciate greatly. The location is convenient to my job and it a great place to stop for lunch. I was so disappointed. I was a regular at Zaxbys in San Marcos TX before Covid. I just went to the New Braunfels location and it was dry chicken like it has been sitting out all day under a heat lamp. No season to it and I got spicy. It had spicy sauce on the bun but the chicken itself just. Gross. I got the fried mushrooms it was not crispy,looked to be microwaved not to mention the cold fries. What sucked is I was the only one in the drive thru yet it took ten minutes. Youd think I was getting a fresh sandwich since they seemed slow but nope the crew just seemed to be messing around. I get its slow at night as this is mainly a lunch spot but this was so not worth the money. This is why the Zaxbys drive through in New Braunfels ever has cars in it

If I could give a rating of -100 I would. Our first experience here was about 4 years ago and it was awesome, we were in the mood for a drive and some good food. BUT LAST NIGHT was such a DISAPPOINTMENT and waste of time, we should have just stuck with Bu-cee s sandwiches and fried chips. The restaurant was filthy for one with trash on the floor through out the restaurant that needed sweeping up. The soda machine was not really working with flavors all tasting like carbonated water, disgusting and dirty as well. My family s food was over salted fries, My husband s fries had wilted lettuce stuck to them. Burnt toasted bread and boneless wings as HARD and small in size as ROCKS !!!! This little secret slice of goodness was very refreshing, it was closing time when I pulled into line in drive thru, unaware at that time, but there customer service skills were impeccable, and even gave me three bags of left over food for no charge, because I was last customer to drive up. I was shocked and once home there chicken was DAMN FINE.

Honestly not that great. Food was over priced, lacking flavor and everything just tasted so bland. there are so many better alternative places to go. Churches, KFC, Popeyes, southern chicken & waffles, even chick fil a has better quality food.

Ordered food and when I got there to pick it up the hostess made me wait a few minutes while she finished up what she was doing and then finally got my order which btw was not under a heat lamp in kitchen area, but in a basket right behind her stand. So needless to say I paid for cold food smh.

They got rid of my favorite reason for going, their french dressing. The Zax sauce is not as good as Caines. The breading is too thick and they are not generous with their sauce on the wings. I still go when I want to mix things up every now an then, but not crave worthy. Their entry to the Chicken Sandwich wars, not a very good attempt.

Drive thru speaker didnt work. No way to get out of line trapped 25 minutes. Placed order at window, then told to park. Then discovered tons of others waiting for food. Wont be doing this again for a while!!

I ve been here about 6x, 1 time they forgot an item on my order and they tried to chase me down from the drive thru but I didn t notice. I went back the next day to order the same meal, bc it was so good... They remembered me and and comped the forgotten item without me having to explain or show the receipt I had. I ve received service from multiple employees through the drive thru but never got their names, all provided exceptional customer service. I ve called twice bc I was worried about a door dash order I put in, and they were so great about writing down my picky requests so I didn t have to put all that on the poor door dash driver. I do customer service over the phone and I must say their phone etiquette is impeccable. I hope their GM treats the employees well here bc they are hard working and very, very nice.
