Beer and coffee and service is very good here. Their website does not reflect the beer in stock though. Their juice IPA is unavailable at the moment on a Saturday mid afternoon although the website says it s not. My biggest complaint here is the lack of food. The food truck here is bbq themed. I ordered a brisket sandwich which was terrible and full of fat and very little meat. I can t sit and drink beer without any decent food. Plenty of bakery goods but that just doesn t do it for me. I don t need croissants or loaves of $8 bread or pretzels, I ain t a baby. I need some real food to eat with this beer. I just want the owners of this brewery to be aware that their brisket food truck is selling hot garbage to customers at $14 a sandwich. I think I am getting sick from eating so much brisket fat. I ve had my share of brisket being 4th gen Texas German, but this ain t it. Too many other options to sell this kind of bbq.

5 Stones Artisan Brewery... WOW! I have never been to a brewery that I have been smacked in the face with so many delicious smells. When you walk in, you are automatically hit with the smells wafting off the bakery that have your mouth salivating. You end up standing at the door just inhaling all the scents. I sampled half of their beers and settled into three of them. All of them were delicious, but the Blood on the Plow, the Frackin Blackstap and Manmosa were my favorites, but I do not joke when I say thay were all good. You can tell that they took time in creating those flavors. I had to sneak a few of those home as well. I couldnt leave there without sampling the bakery; their cinnamon twist, their cheese bread, and jalapeno bread were amazing. The staff is amazingly friendly and with an unmatched ambiance, you can park it under the canopy of live oaks + sip your beer in the shade as you eat morsels of the bakery. This place was so good I had to come back the next day, and lo and behold, they had live music on Saturday. It appears to be a family friendly place with kids tossing around the football. Apparently they have a coffee shop in back that I didnt venture into, but this place has it all. Honestly, I wouldnt know where it was from the signage on the road. This is something they probably have to work on. I hoped I wasnt driving up someones house driveway. Lol. It appears that they have a food truck rolling up in the afternoons that has standard flare burgers and what not. When I get back to San Antonio, Im definitely going back. Enjoy!

In the area for the winter months to escape Northern snow, we are always looking for fun things to do while were here. A recent Facebook event at 5 Stones Artisan Brewery caught our attention so we decided to give it a try. And what a delightful surprise it was! Not only do they have tasty brews, but food, a bakery, and a coffee shop, too. Our favorite beers were the Snipe Hunter, Aloha Pena, and Toby Gs. The first being a stout is always a good choice and the other two were interestingly different and flavorful. The food at the event was pizza. We chose a Meat pie and it went well with the brews. I finished off with an amazing Maple Latte (Im the coffee lover.) We got bakery items to go - sourdough bread, pecan twists, and chocolate chunk cookies. All very delicious. We will definitely be back...thank you!

We visited this past weekend; we were actually one of the food trucks that stopped were asked to come out and stumbled upon some very good delicious cheese danishes. I bought 3 cheese, 2 Cherry and 1 apple danish & 1 cinnamon roll. The cheese danish and cinnamon rolls were my all-time favorite. I will be back for my birthday to grab a dozen of them lol. Thanks for having us out sincerely, Big Wyly s BBQ

My family & I decided to take a detour while in town for Wurstfest. It was one of the best decisions we could of made. Pros: - Great atmosphere and amble area for the kids to run around - Section for adults only (didnt apply to us) - Amazing beer selection (Highly recommend Aloha Pina) - Phenomenal bakery on premise (only opened Friday - Sunday) Cons: There is limited space inside. I would recommend avoiding during peek summer (Despite multiple shaded spots on the property). Summary: This brewery is an amazing addition to the area and one of our top in the state. I would drive from out of town again just to visit it.

Cute little brewery and fun spot to hang out with super friendly staff. Absolutely delicious, innovative beers! Try the Manmosa, the Norma Jean, and the peach one! All of the treats at Steves Dough Shop are to die for *drool* from the pretzel with beer cheese, the pepperoni and cheese kolache, and the jalapeño cheddar bread that makes the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. 10/10 recommend!

Really pretty atmosphere. My husband enjoyed the beer, and it was fun for our son to play. I was happy to have a GF option with wine, but the glass of wine was extremely small for $9, which is the reason for 4 stars. My husband told the bartender the pour was small and he only shrugged his shoulders. Overall, we enjoyed our time but the wine is definitely overpriced for the amount.

New fav brewery! My husband loves beer but I don t drink, so I was stoked to find out they have an espresso bar as well. They don t do flights, but do half pours- I m told the beer is really great here. We brought family here and they agreed! The maple latte was probably one of the best lattes I ve ever had- their syrup is made in house. Only tried the fried mushrooms, they were alright. But the pizza looks amazing (might be seasonal, so check the menu!) The service is always really great. And I love the environment! Dog friendly. They have tons of outdoor seating, including an 21+ only section (great for my dog who gets nervous of kids running near him). If you get lucky you might snag a table by a fire pit on the chilly nights.

Artisan brewery with a speakeasy vibe. Really loved the laid back low key ambiance of this small brewery tucked away under a stand of oaks and cedars. Bonus that theres a bakery on site selling fresh baked goods. Definitely worth a visit!

We like to try out different breweries on the weekend. This one we will definitely be back to. They have a large selection of beer, but will give you a sample so you don t have to commit. I found the best IPA I ve had in Texas. My wife enjoyed their flagship, as well as their Oktoberfest. Food is also good the Reuben was amazing and the pizza was delicious. A guy name Steve in the kitchen suggested a loaf of sourdough bread, he hand sliced it, and provided soft butter. I should ve taken a couple loaves home . Large outside seating with picnic tables placed under several trees. There was also a covered pavilion, But if you wanted to sit inside they have that available too. it is definitely worth the half hour drive from San Antonio

Far larger then I expected, and plenty crowded when we went on a Saturday afternoon at 5. Line moved quick to get a beer and service was polite. Food available too, but we were one and done today. Only drawback is the lack of signage off of 1863. Save it in your map, and wont be any trouble at all. We will go back when we have more time and an appetite.

A hidden gem of the local brewery scene. The beautiful rural setting makes for a pristine relaxed atmosphere. The live music selection, open fire pits, and cows mooing softly in the background are a spiritual combination. The kitchen whips up homemade and hand made dishes, pizza, burgers, and a weekly rotating special (a recent highlight was the Swedish meatballs with hand made noodles). The beer speaks for itself. A broad selection of wheat beers, IPAs, stouts, and more offer something for everyone. I have still been drinking my way through the beers and havent even made it to the wines yet. An exciting endeavor I cant wait to embark upon. Bring a lawn chair on the weekends, your favorite cigar, and a group of good friends. The food and beer combine to make it a stand alone destination.

This place, in my opinion, is hands down one of the best breweries in Texas. You must visit this place when in New Braunfels. The beer, food, especially the people are the best.

Not open on Sundays? That s the national beer drinking day of Texas and we want to come back to your place for your good cold ones. Seems every time we re ready, you re not cause it s Sunday. Feeling unloved in Bulverde.

Not only does this place have great beer and a great atmosphere, but we also just got to experience a truly magical Daddy Daughter Dance here. Now that they serve wine even my wife enjoys coming and hanging out. We have been here several times and intend to keep coming! A truly wonderful place to hang out.

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and good beer. Our only complaint was they offered no tasting flights. We were told if we didnt like a beer to bring it back and they would give us another. Thats a big waste of beer in our opinion. They definitely need to add tasting flights. We will be back.

This was a pretty fun visit for us coming from Minnesota we stopped in because they were the only ones open to be honest. Boy are we happy we did. The smell of citrus hit us as soon as we walked it, found out they had just finished squeezed grapefruit for a fresh batch of beer. We each tried a couple of their beers which were very good, chatted with the owner who we found out was friend w/ a local pastor in our small town so that was fun and we got to try a sample of their new wheat beer fresh out of the tank. (Honestly one of the best beers I have tried in a very long time) the property is large and expansive outside with rocking chairs on the front patio. Please give this one a try well worth the little out of the way drive!

Beautiful brewery with great beer! I had The Call which was a flavorful but balanced IPA. A 4-pack of 16 ozers to go was just $20. When we went they had vendors / local artisans selling jewelry, clothes, handmade knives, and more. It was full if ppl but the grounds are so big that social distancing wasnt an issue. They served their own food, and they had a bbq food truck. There also a band, and it was just an idyllic evening in central Texas. 5 stars aint enuff!
