We received an 8 pound ham, 3 pound turkey breast, all the sides and desserts to go with it as a gift after a death in the family. Delivery was on time and the food was superb. My kids dont even like turkey and ate it up!! The chocolate cake is the best you will put in your mouth. Delish!!! Highly reccomend.

Prices are very expensive. Even with a $50 gift card, I still spent another 60 to get a 10lb ham. Will not do that again. Ill sell the gift card. Times are tough. This is definitely for the wealthy people.

My husband suggested getting a turkey breast from Honeybaked for the two of us for Thanksgiving. I bought the smoked turkey breast and couldn t wait to try it. We were both shocked that the turkey breast tasted exactly like ham - so much so that we went back and checked the package to make sure we were indeed given a turkey. It was my fault for not reading the description fully that they put that sweet glaze that they baste their hams with, on the turkey. GROSS. So if you want turkey that tastes like turkey - go somewhere else. Otherwise on Thanksgiving you ll be eating sweet turkey that you swear is ham.

It was very busy, but the flow of customers was steady. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Everything I expect from Honey Baked Hams. Parking: There needs to be more parking, but it isnt Honey Baked Hams fault. It is a small shopping center and cant be helped.

The folks that operate this store, to a person, know how to treat customers! Out of all the stores that I go to, I enjoy Honey Baked Ham in Murphy the most. They are helpful, courteous and friendly. The set the very standard for customer service. Oh, and the ham is outstanding, too!

Horrible customer service experience! As a place of business who offers services to the public, especially for as long as Honey Baked Ham has you would think they would be better prepared for the holiday rush. I called to ask about ordering meals/boxed lunches for a group of people in need. Not everyone can book in advance, as I found out about their situation last minute. Clearly, the person I spoke with was overwhelmed and not concerned with answering any of my basic questions about catering services. However, she made it a point to state how busy they were (more than once) because its the holidays! Get it together...the holidays come around the same time each year! I get it. Youre busy, but you can at least be courteous.

Great, courteous people working behind the counter, nice service on the phone. We ordered a tray for the holidays and they didnt disappoint. I wish they had larger portions for their sides though, six adults requires more than one of any particular side. Other than that, everything was great.

Love a Honey Baked Ham but who doesnt !!! Went on Dec 24 at 11am to pick up my pre paid items. Just walked in, second in line, got my food and left all within 10 minutes. It was very organized. If you hadnt paid for your order, there was a line of perhaps 12 people but the line was going pretty quick. Its so much easier to order and pay on the website for holiday meals. Extremely organized !!! Parking on the other hand was a bear. Had to park by the gas station. People were coming and going and not being very patient. There were maybe 3 spots in the back of the building but mostly were employee parking and the handful of spots in the front. So I had to circle around approximately 3 times until a spot by the gas station became available. Next holiday.....Easter . Will be back ! Dont forget, they serve sandwiches and such throughout the year.

We had went to honey baked ham in Mesquite. They said we couldn t get a ham because we didn t pre-order. We didn t pre-order because we had a hectic week. I called honey baked ham in Murphy and they said they would hold one for us. We wouldn t get there until 10 minutes after they closed. An employee volunteered to wait for us. The customer service was exceptional. I wish I could remember the employees name. I had heart procedure done so I was still out of it. So I don t remember. We made sure to give her a tip for going out of her way.

I went to pick up a ham for my father-in-law to use for the holiday feast. On the website, it shows a boxed lunch with a sandwich, chips, drink and cookie. However, when my daughter asked for a boxed lunch, the lady did not know what she was talking about and so charged us for a sandwich and then to make it a meal which was the chips, drink and cookie separately. We were overcharged. The boxed lunch is on their website. I think more customer service training is due. Otherwise than that, the sandwich was delicious and we will be back but I do not like to be overcharged for anything.

Fantastic store! After a ridiculously terrible experience with another Honey Baked Ham location (Coit/Beltline in Richardson) on the day before Thanksgiving, this store saved the day. I arrived at what is probably their busiest time of the year - Wednesday afternoon on the day before Thanksgiving. Yes, there was a wait, but the process for standing in line was well-organized. The store was well-staffed with friendly employees who were obviously working hard to take care of their customers. They were also working hard to re-stock as side items were purchased. And the ham was delicious! This store saved our holiday meal from disaster, and it will be the only location that I use in the future. They rock!

I didnt visit this store, but our office is in Richardson. To my pleasant surprise, Lana Durant, the GM of the Murphy store popped in today to let us know that their store caters lunch, and that we could rely on them to ship gifts to our clients, as well. I shared with her that even though we are a small office, we do cater client lunches and ship gifts to our out of town clients. She left me with two sample catering boxes with yummy sandwiches! It takes a VERY SPECIAL person to be able to walk in to an office, unannounced, and talk about your business. Lana was very professional and sweet. We will definitely use them for our client catered lunches and client gifts at Christmas time.

I preordered. I waited in line 30 minutes. Business next door offers free coffee to those that wait in the cold, but not this business. That was nice of them. I provide my confirmation code to be told, THEY ARE OUT! What is the point of preordering?? I settled for something else and they gave me a coupon. $80 disappointment.
