Ive eaten here a few times. This time I ordered the shrimp tacos. The shrimp were chopped which made the taco easier to eat and they were nicely seasoned. They tasted authentic, like something Id have on a visit to Puerto Vallarta. Very impressed. Chips and salsa were also good. My daughter order the guisado, and she said it was excellent. My wife ordered the spicy enchiladas. She said they werent very spicy and were drowned in queso. Weve noticed that the menu items that have queso on them are or least favorite, but thats obviously a personal preference. The queso is just overwhelming. I wish I could remember the name of our server because she was excellent.

It was our first time to try this quaint little place. It wasnt very busy, and we were greeted and seated immediately. They served chips & salsa that was delicious... fresh chips too! We ordered beef enchiladas, and a draft beer. The enchiladas and flavors were excellent, and the food was hot and fresh. We also ordered white queso, but it was terrible, We did not receive the Beer! Best Tex-Mex in Murphy/Wiley area. Im no fan of onions and this is one of only a few Mexican restaurants in about a 10-15 mile radius that doesnt put onions in their ground beef. Lunch prices on a large selection of dishes are second to none at most under $8.50. No regrets! Parking: All the spots in front of the building are for to-go orders or handicapped parking. So, plan to walk a bit.

Weve been coming to La Flor since early 2000s and its still one of my favorites. Theyve redone the menu but the flavors are still fantastic. Loved their stuffed avocados this last time, almost stole them from my hubbys plate. Thanks so much! Its great to see my kids enjoying a place as an adult that they once sat in a high chair in.

This is one of our favorite places. The (top shelf, on the rocks) margaritas are literally the best ever, whoever thought of adding orange is a genius. Everything on the menu is delicious. My husband particularly likes the Plato verde and I cant say no to the Carnitas tacos. Weve tried a lot of different things and everything had been outstanding. Staff is super helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. Anytime we have visitors this is the first place we take them. Love it here!

My first time there and getting take out. Place looks nice and staff friendly. Combination plater came with no sour cream, guacamole or pico. Nothing for dipping. Nachos were soggy. No napkins or plastic wear. Extra charge for chips and salsa. $50 tab for 2 entrees to go was not worth it.

Good food, and great service! Our server took good care of us while we ate, making sure we had full glasses and checking on us very often. Our party of four had pablano steak, guiso pork, shrimp enchiladas, and red enchiladas. I highly recommend the Guiso Pork it had a fantastic authentic flavor. The steak was excellent, especially with the sauce, although it came with a side of potatoes that were bland and greasy. Both enchilada plates, beans, and rice were about what you would expect. If you are interested in dessert, I would suggest the bread pudding. Its not a bad spot for tex-mex food at a great price.

Went for lunch by myself on a Friday around 1:30. It was quiet so service was immediate. Food was delicious! Fresh, excellent flavors, ready in a very timely manner. The restaurant has a sports bar feel which kept things casual. I watched a college football game while I ate. I travel for my job and I ll definitely eat here again!

Service was very bad. And food was horrible. My taco came with 2 pieces of metal from sponge. It was so terrible. I was rush to tell the waistress that I forgot to take picture. We visited some family here, were from Houston. I honestly didnt have high expectations and my experience superceded my expectations. Our server was super attentive and so helpful with all our questions and requests. I dont remember her name but she had big parties and booths. I got the street beef fajita tacos. The meat was tender and tasted yummy, the rice was spot on with the taste, the charro beans tasted amazing after I added some salt, rice and lime. My mom was fajitas and those were also tender. Tortillas are normal. The salsa was yum and had that good flavor but I prefer mine warm to touch. The queso had good taste but my mom thought it was runny. I liked it!!!! & oh yeah the sweet tea is superb!!!! Everything was the bomb diggity!!!! I highly recommend and if I ever visit again Ill try the quesadillas next thanks for the great food!!!!!

From the moment I walked in and the hostess rolls her eyes because I ask for a booth where it is cooler. Tosses the menu and silverware roll on the table and walks off. Server comes takes my order and brings my tea and forgets my water. I ask two different servers and finally ask the same server again and finally get water. No one comes and checks on me to see how my food is or if I need anything! No one comes at all. I finish my food and I ask for my tea to go and the server takes my tea and never comes back! I finally ask the bartender for my check and my tea to go and he apologized and brings my check and then the server who took my tea came by and asked me if I had sweet tea!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! You take my tea and then come back and ask me what kind of tea I had. The whole experience was horrible!! They have the best food there is but their service is truly the worse I have ever had!! You need to replace your hostess and servers and get people in there that actually want to work and wait on tables and smile and be friendly and act like you want to be there!!!!!!!!!

Everything was amazing when we went here over the weekend. I was looking for somewhere new to try, read the reviews, and decided to give it a go. It surely did not disappoint! It has a nice atmosphere, the food was really delicious, the service was excellent and the place was clean. Their menu has a wide range of food, even hamburgers and pasta. Our waitress was really nice and very attentive to our table. I saw a couple of the other waitresses doing the same as well. Prices are about the normal going rate, nothing outrageous. I m giving a two star because we eaten here before and the food was great. ( then !)We ordered through DoorDash tonight and I don t care if a restaurant is busy or not, you do not serve food for a to go order and the chicken for the fajitas be hard as a rock like they were cooked that afternoon. And dried out - Also my plate of enchiladas we re all smooshed together and they did not give us the correct beans. I ordered a small salsa and chips because I did not know that it already came with our order , so we ended up getting two salsa and chips just for two people. Didn t need that . Guacamole- Very bland , and the sopapillas had skillet black marks from the actual pan on them and they were not fresh either , Very dissatisfied in this restaurant now ! Great Enchiladas Great Tacos Rillenos very good Carne Asada you cant go wrong Tilapia Blackened Great Tilapia Poblano or LA Diabla 5 s Dont choose LA Diabla if you are not a fire eater. Stick with the Poblano and youll love it. If youre a fire eater...go for the LA Diabla its greaaaaat.

La Flor never disappoints!! We went there few times with different family members and we all love their food! Salsa is very fresh, chips are not oily and fresh. Most of the items on their menu are delicious but you must definitely try their spicy burrito with spicy salsa!! Too good!! Our kids love their Enchiladas also. Some of our family members are vegetarians and they love this place also as they have delicious options for them as well. BTW their service is excellent also. We ll definitely recommend them to everyone and will definitely go back for some delicious food !!

Love their chicken tortilla soup and their nachos! They are yummy! I just wish it was fresh everytime I get it, unfortunately there s been several instances where my fajita seems microwaved! Regardless I still enjoy it and it s yummy.
