This establishment has a burger known as the double smash Burger. The first time I tried it I thought it was the best burger Ive ever had. Ive tried to order it again and its quality is very hit-and-miss. It ranges from pretty good to extremely poor. More often than not its poor. Often the bacon is burnt and often they forget to put on the bacon jam sauce that makes the sandwich very good. Often when the bacon jam is missing the sandwich has a overabundance of mayonnaise applied. Its a shame because this is a really good sandwich when done right. The problem is not just at the Murphy location Ive tried other locations and its a similar problem there. They do have a grilled chicken sandwich that is just outstanding and that is what Ive been getting lately and highly recommend it.

I like District 21 formally BoomerJack s great patio, good food, cold beer, good bartenders and usually good service. But I have stopped by the last couple days. To the worst waitress service I have ever had! Literally ignored bc she was to busy talking, playing on her phone! Then I confronted asked her why and she said i wasn t taking anymore tables I m done for the night. WTHeck so you just ignore the customers!

The server was great. The atmosphere on the other hand, when it came to the touch tunes, had a lot of filtered artists. I understand if the songs are the clean version, but to eliminate artists and genres based off of certain cultures seems a tad off putting for 2024, off putting meaning discriminatory. I definitely would rather not come back or invite anyone to this location due to the lack of inclusion.

Great service as always! Theyre changing their name to District 21 but the menu seems to be the same and so does wait staff. We came in for a few drinks at great prices and queso! We love that their patio is large and is dog friendly! Wheelchair accessibility: Inside is wheelchair accessible but patio not so much. Low tables require you to go up some steps, otherwise they have high tops

Good quality American comfort food. Our waitress seemed to be serving the entire restaurant by herself during lunch. She was very attentive and checked in frequently in spite of being short staffed. The loaded fries and monte cristo were excellent. Would not recommend the tortilla soup though. Space was relatively clean, but could do with some repairs.

Boomerjacks Murphy. This place is awesome. Staff are fantastic, very attentive and quick with our orders. Staff of note Dylan, Taylor, Logan, Desiree, Sharee, Samantha, Abby, Lauren, Kaitlin, Chloe, Keely, Kyla. Managers Jeff, Miguel, Kyle do an absolutely fantastic job. The new menu has some great choices. The drinks are the cheapest in the area and there are always specials on top of that. Thats why we come here most nights. Its like Cheers, everybody knows your name!!!!!

Wow I am very low maintenance, and it takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but this was probably the worst service and food I ve ever encountered. The servers are not rude, but there is clearly no form of training for them. Our server took forever on a slow Saturday night. We were just a group of friendly guys trying to watch some games, but we had to wait forever for every drink. She would ask us if we want more water when the water cup was completely empty. I bet they could have doubled the price of our check if they were faster. We wanted more drinks, we wanted more food, but it took 15 minutes for us to even ask for another beer. The food was unbelievably terrible. I thought I was tipsy enough to enjoy any bar food, but apparently not. I know they say they are rebranding but they literally need to tear this place down and start from scratch. Ownership, staff, everything.

My family and I come here every weekend and normally everything is kosher but this past weekend I received a gritty burger. Now we all know, when you bite into something and you feel a rocky, gritty substance, you can be sure someone dropped a patty on the floor and placed it back on the bun. Its unfortunate that this establishment hires personnel who have no sense of food standards and customer service. I recommend others to go somewhere else that has better customer service, especially if your are looking to order high quality, non- gritty burgers.

Everything comes to an end. After almost 12 years, my wife and I will go there no more. Simple bar food from now on, only burgers and pizza. No more rib eye steak, no more chicken fried steak, no more pork chops, no more salmon, and no more us. Personally, I hope they go out of business. Taylor was my bartender and she was delightful. She was attentive and personable. It was my first time in and she treated me like she had known me for years. We used to go there all the time, but it went down hill and we quit going. I thought I would try again today. Big mistake! I ordered Soup and Salad. They both came out the same time. By the time I ate the salad the soup was cold and I had to ask to be re-heated. I asked if the Bill game would be on and the waitress said it would and it was for the start of my meal. Half way into my meal the game changed to another game that was on TWO other tvs. My waitress didnt come back for over 10 minutes and I was missing the game I went their to watch. The manager was talking to a group in front of the tv that was playing the Bills game and I guess just changed the game for their request without asking anyone if they minded. I would not have minded it he put the game I was watching on the the tv in front of me but he never asked. I had to go into the bar to pay my bill and watress had to go find my watress because she could not charge my card. l waited another 10 minutes to pay the bill. My dinner was finished, my drink was empty and I was pissed for missing 20 minutes of the game I went there to see. Never Again! I live in Murphy and will stay with the Back Yard. Much better service, much better food and a manager that cares about all of his customers.

Went there for lunch today and the sandwiches were really good. I especially enjoyed my bbq melt sand which however I was less impressed about the service. They were quick to seat us and take our drink orders (I felt pressured to pick something quickly) while the lady intently just stares at me. Then we eat and have our meals the waitress seems upset that we were not adding to our meal extras. Then takes a long time to bring out the bill. It just came as a receipt not in a checkbook. We had the card ready but they take another five minutes to come back to our table. The service was horrible. I d eat at this place again if it was to go. Not sure how I have not ever heard of this place. Decided to try something new and it was a win! This place has some of the best food I have ever eaten. Not a bad place to eat at all, the only issue I had was cleanliness of the whole establishment, the floors were not cleaned, there was a spill between the outside doors and the insides door leading to the patio area, it was cleaned up fast but the floor, and rug remained wet. It was like that for an hour until we left. Good place for family, after a game or just enjoying a bite to eat with friends. Kid-friendliness: The kids liked their meals, but the one thing that I didnt like was how we were sat by the guest receptionists, we were not offered the kid menus, obviously we had 2 young kids with us, I had to walk up to the counter and get the menus and crayons myself. Good food and appetizers, drinks also not bad , music a little too loud but over all a good place to have a drink and good dinner I have to update my review .I ordered the potato soup and specifically asked for no bacon and I made sure to ask if any bacon is mixed in the soup, I was told no that it s only on top and they could leave it off. Soup came out with bacon on top, unfortunately. No biggie, I told the guy who brought it out that I ordered no bacon in my soup, he said oh sure I ll be right back. First bite of soup, I noticed bacon in my mouth. I started to stir the soup and there were bacon pieces all in the soup. So, basically they scooped the other big bowl of soup they first brought out into a smaller cup. At this point, I lost my appetite. This is beyond disrespectful. Service wasn t too great either-when asked for plates for the appetizers we ordered, our server stopped to chit chat with someone then brought out the plates. I had to update my review from a 5 star to 1 star. Listen to your customers special instructions, they ask for them for a reason.

We arrived with 3 children 4 and younger including a baby at 6:45 for dinner. Ordered our drinks not long after, but my husband s drink took over 20 minutes to get to us. Ordered fried pickles and then our food before the appetizer was even ready. Finished the appetizer and the food still wasn t done. By this time it was 8. Food came out, our kid s flatbread pizza was burnt, my husband s burger was raw, and my food didn t even come out. My husband sent his back once our waiter finally came around again after another 10 minutes. They remade his burger, finally brought out my salad, but his burger had onions on it and he only wanted pickles and cheese and the fries on the plate were way fewer than the amount he originally had. By this time our kids were restless and ready for bed, seeing as it was 8:30 and we hadn t even eaten our food, I got a box for my salad and my husband left his burger that was wrong AGAIN on the table. We will definitely not be coming back.

I came to BoomerJacks tonight not knowing I actually wanted to eat. Im GLAD I STOPPED. First off, the server Lauren was so sweet. She kept a smile on her face and very attentive to get guest. Went on a Sunday to watch the Cowboys. My husband had to get up 3 times because our server was MIA. No silverware, no napkins, and to swap out the what tasted like sour cream for blue cheese dressing. The Nashville Hot chicken tenders were NOT HOT. Blue cheese dressing was sour cream, and did not get coleslaw. Fries were so old, I think they were reheated from the day before. Y all- we are heavy tippers, but today - not so much. Both food and service were awful. Won t be back. Sports bars should be better prepared for game day.

Love this place! I work nearby and go here all the time. Awesome service every visit. Also today I ordered to go and someone literally gave me a spoon. Like full on silverware spoon. And it wasn t an accident because they included a handwritten note. I love these guys. Chaotic in the best way.

Found hair in food twice, tried to complain but manager refused to even take us seriously. Said since he didn t see it he can t do anything about it. The reason he didn t see it is because his own wait staff took it from our hands and threw it away while apologizing! If you don t believe the customers word, at least believe your own employees word.

Ordered this through Uber Eats. Sandwich was alright, however I was completely missing my drink, which I paid extra for, and the portion size for the fries were laughable. I know my UE driver didnt take it based off of his high approval rate. Not ordering from here again.

Second time we have ordered from here, once online, once through Uber eats and both times we got shorted on our order. The poblano burger didn t come with poblanos and my cob salad for the second time didn t come with avocado. Not sure why they can t get their own menu items right but this is getting ridiculous. The burger is just a cheese burger.

THIS REVIEW IS SOULY BASED ON FOOD. I ordered a chicken fried chicken, mashed potaoes, mac n cheese and some mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. It was outstanding! Compliments to the chef! I would love to come visit the restaurant and see how the service is. FOOD that I specifically ordered was a 10/10. No complaints! Thank yall for a wonderfull meal!

Stopped in for a cocktail before flying home and met the nicest bartender, Tristan and Owner. The beer and Fireball were ice cold and fried jalapenos were spicy!! Will definitely stop in next time were in town!

Ethan was absolutely amazing with out large group. We called ahead to give some warning but it has been a really busy night here tonight with the game on. Thank you so much we enjoyed our evening. The kitchen was slammed. But he was patient and as quick as he could be with a huge table of 15 and multiple smaller tables in his section. The manager gave him awesome support. And the food runners and other servers were awesome in throwing in to help. This is exactly how a team should help and support each other. Absolutely wonderful to see and witness. Thank you to the staff team and managers for being so awesome tonight. We adore this place for our group every couple of months.

They failed on the order input. Got order wrong. This was a pickup order that was called in and somewhere the order never got to the cook to prepare . Had to wait another 30 minutes. This place is extremely noisey would never choose to dine in here, gotta yell to be heard. But it was Saturday and TVs blaring . But Maddie ( manager ) did make up for this on the price of meal. Felt better about the issue, plus food was pretty good after I got home and ate it. Catfish good. BLT good. The fried pickles were a little tough and skimpy. I will order from them again. Thanks Maddie for your patience with a disgruntled customer.

FIRST AND LAST TIME EATING HERE. We can begin with this being the worst service I have ever had. I have worked in all areas of the food industry fast food and restaurant including management so I understand the struggles. Yet this as I said is the worst service the lady may be a great sever but most definitely was given too much to juggle. If you have a 20 top party of people then you need two servers or the help from a manager (which didn t happen). It was great that half of our party was tended to the whole night not so great about the other half. We had cold food, over fried foods, and 1 refill the whole night. I shouldn t need to flag down my server or ask the hostess for help the entire night. When food was handed out there was ZERO organization or system in place we had several different workers shouting in an already loud dinning room calling out what they thought was on the tray yet some didn t even know what they were handing out. For the quality of service 1 start quality of food 3 stars and that is pushing it. When I spoke with the manager I was told let me grab some coupons. I should of had a discount on my food or a genuine apology rather than walking away mid conversation. I don t want coupons to come back to a restaurant with poor service and poor management. Also we as the customers should not need to gather our cups and trays when we are done to get them out of the way. If you only have three servers then your entire dinning room doesn t need to be open to customers you need what your servers can handle to be sat and the rest on a waitlist. Never again will be come back to this location.

I wish I could give zero stars as 1 is too many. I have made a formal complaint with corporate that I hope is addressed. My husband and I received the WORST service ever. We waited for over 10 minutes before a waitress finally stopped after being passed by 3 others. After we ordered drinks and food the waitress completely disappeared for the rest of dinner. The manager came by towards the end and when I specifically stated things were not good he didn t even bother to ask additional questions. His attitude was just as indifferent as the staff. I don t want to assume the service we received was because we were the only people of color but seeing the other tables were receiving attentive service that is exactly how we left feeling. Needless to say we will not be returning to this location.

Very disappointing I spent $72 today ordered food like around 3 PM I got my food through Uber eats they did good Uber eats they got here on time but the food was so disgusting the sandwich did not have the cheese that It had on the picture it was hard and stale The sampler look burnt didn t taste good no taste no salt the brisket quesadillas were hard horrible the two Dr. peppers we ordered had no Gas no flavor it s disgusting we literally threw the food away because it was so disgusting and upsetting to spend $72 on trash if you can t hire good cooks then don t be selling your food to your customers it makes you look really bad I will never ever order from here again because today I just threw my money away in the trash I should ve just order McDonald s

Oh my God ...wow. What mess this experience was. Had to rate in the top ten of worse, bad of bad , restaurants. Ordered nachos as an appetizer, served with main course. Served Luke warm as was the entrée. We asked where food was for one family memder. Had ask for refills. This the first time this has happened at Bommer Jacks. Oh my God....wow. Total was $75:00 (est) for three adults.

My wife and I ate today here around 5:00 pm. The crown there was a few tables with younger people very annoying and most of the conversations that we heard was the F word and S word. The food was not that great at all. Very salty. We are not going back there.

I really used to love Boomer Jack s. I ve tried many of them. Thought I would try this one. (Maybe Friday night not a good idea? Idk). It was SUPER loud waiter couldn t even hear us we had to scream. Server was fair. A little off. Food was warm not hot, quesadilla was soggy. Just not the same quality pre Covid.

Ordered through ubereats. Noticed the Styrofoam container where they put chicken tenders and fries in got burnt through with holes because they didnt allow chicken tenders to cool off before placing in there. Called and informed the manager about the incident.. Not good at all!
