Best Mexican joint in Morgans Point. Sol de is a local chain. With a few locations around they manage to compete and stay afloat in a sea of tex-mex-erias. Might be the best chips and salsa in the county. Must try. Food : 4/5

Me and my Boyfriend went here on 6/16/2024. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, but we felt like we were kinda ignored by our waitress. We had to call another server over to refill our drinks a couple of times and waited over 25 minutes for them to even take our food order. Then, we waited close to an hour for our food. there were maybe 3 other tables. The food was good otherwise, but I dont think we will be back.

Just my husband and myself, ordered the fajitas plate to share. Both the beef and chicken were overcooked and very dry. Even the shrimp was overdone and tasteless. We went a little after 5 and I have a feeling this food may have been cooked at lunch. I know beer is expensive but $4.50 for a small glass??. And there is a charge for using a credit card. Learned our lesson, won t be back.

Food was decent, waiter came to our table 4 times total, It was me and my wife along with our 4 kids and gratuity was added at 18%. I dont think the service was worth $17.69 for the 4 trips made to our table. Total bill for my familys dinner was $120.58! I asked the cashier how many guest before auto-gratuity was added and he didnt have the answer.

My husband and I just moved here and we ate breakfast here on Memorial weekend, it was excellent. So we tried eating lunch here last weekend. The Pollo poblano plate, charro beans and salsa is wonderful. The staff is all very nice. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids section on the menu

The flavor is top-notch! Heart attack pending. You cant eat inside unless you want to smell like fried oil the next few days, not sure they have a proper ventilation system in place. The staff was super nice tho and friendly. Fed 5 people for 50 bucks, great prices.

we paid 33 dollars for one burrito and enchiladas and chips and salsa. Get home to find there is no chips and salsa. Thats what my daughter wanted for lunch. This is the 2nd time they have done this to us. Beware

I ve gotten lunch here a few times now and I d say it s a really good lunch spot. Not great, but good to really good. The service is friendly, and the food it good. I can t say exactly what it is, but something is missing flavor wise on the quesadilla. I ve ordered it several times, so obviously it isn t an issue, but that little something missing is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. One thing, if you re doing take out, call ahead or order through UberEats because it s quick serve and not fast food. It ll take a bit to make the food. I see this as a positive, but if you re in a hurry on a lunch break, order ahead.

I tried this place for the first time and tried a breakfast burrito. Bacon, eggs, potato, cheese, and beans. After eating and using the very delicious green salsa, Ill have to say it was very good. Definitely a good spot for breakfast tacos and burritos.

Does this restaurant take any pride on the plate they serve? Apparently none what so ever! I order a mini tacos plate through the drive thru and it was horrible. the tortillas were just placed at the bottom and they had oil soaked meat strewn all across the top. My tortillas were saturated dripping of oil. Disgusting. The management should be ashamed of the lack of quality that comes out of this place. The other restaurants in Belton and Temple are fantastic. Never again will i try this place. A recommendation also. The management and or owners should take time and read their reviews and reply to them at the very least.

This is one of my family s favorite places to go. The queso is the best that we love, I alternate between the taco salad and the chimichanga plate. Both of them come out exactly how you expect and are super delicious. The wait staff here make sure that you re taken care of, and will even send you away with a taco soda if you ask which is one of the big cups! The food is good. The service is not.. I just left this restaurant on a Sunday 3/7/21. it was around 2 when i got there.. during this time i watched a young man who was the waiter, take chips and drinks to a table of 8/10 people.. watched him sit down in dinning room with his back to the table. 15 maybe 20 minutes passed he did not go take the order. during the time i watched him having his hair played with by the waitress and never look to see if the table was ready to order. both, did not wash there hands after this grooming in the dinning room and served chips and refills with the same hands.. this is why the sickness of covid 19 has passed so easly

This place not only has amazing high quality food at great prices they have a great staff who go the extra mile. They made my sons pancake look like Mickey without us asking, just to be fun knowing it would be for a kid. The waitress was so helpful and quick to answer any questions. They are even open at a lower capacity from covid but you can call in orders or go through the drive through. We eat here a lot and not once have we gotten a wrong order or something unsatisfactory. 10/10 for sure.
