The burrito was 90% dough. The Chili Relleno had around a teaspoon of cafeteria grade beef. They try to hide how little meat there is in the dishes by slathering it in what i think is pizza sauce and gravy. They were able to make the refried beans bad as well, which i didn t know was possible. The view is good for sunrise but there are also other places on the lake with the same view

Had a great experience. The service was great, the food was incredible. We all got fajitas and we all see why they are famous for their fajitas. The fajitas are sooo good. Their Mexican candy shots were good too. And the mixed drinks had a good flavor balance to em and a good kick. The chips and salsa are great! And the yellow queso was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again and again. The water view was a bonus on top of a great dinner as well!

Not the best Mexican in Texas but the best in Conroe. The serving size is plenty and the quality is great. My main feedback would be to let you cook your steak to the temp you prefer for the fajitas. But the atmosphere and view are as good as it gets. The blue crab queso is also really good. Beautiful day today, so why not try out Fajita Jacks!!?? A little too windy for the patio, but a great lunch after church had by all! Our waiter, Sebastian was great, it was busy, but he had some assistance with a sweet young man named Arne who brought oue meal. The bussers are working hard too! The manager on duty came to check on us as well, very attentive staff. Great staff, food and atmosphere! Will definitely be back!

Key word in the Name! Visited last night the food was subpar! I order the Ultimate Fajitas and when it was brought out the Iron skillet it was presented on was not sizzling at all! Everything from the onions to the meats presented were not seared at all! The only reason I gave 2 stars for the food was the chips and salsa and the side order I received of white Queso! Very disappointed in how Fajita Jacks can t cook Fajits properly!

Food is always spot on and delicious! Wait times are minimal, even on Friday & Saturday nights. Staff is friendly and service is fast. Place is a bit loud. Come by car or water. Probably the best Tex-Mex north of The Woodlands, although well admit that its a big fish in a small pond. Having said that, weve never had a bad experience here, never had a bad meal. Tex Mex is one of our favorites and weve been to just about every Tex Mex restaurant in Houston, Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, and Montgomery. Weve tried them all and wouldnt go back to Seven Leguas if it was free, Big Sombrero is just okay, and El Bosque ranges from boring to disgusting. To get better than FJs you gotta go to Pappasitos on I-45, but their service is terrible and the prices ridiculous. Goode Company Cantina in The Woodlands is our all-around favorite but thats a bit of a drive. We have dined in at FJs dozens of times, and gotten take-out a few dozen more. Weve taken most of our guests there and consider it our go-to neighborhood Tex-Mex. Because... - FJs is one of the few Tex-Mex restaurants that actually grills their fajita meat medium rare. Everywhere else its well done. Theres no way youre getting the right flavor from a well done piece of meat; - FJs brings two delicious salsas (love the salsa verde) and great home-made chips with every meal. Tortillas are made fresh to order; - The Loco Lupe is my wifes favorite chicken dish north of 610; - The Acapulco Quesadillas are one of the best Tex-Mex dishes anywhere. I sound like a commercial for this place, but no, Im not affiliated with the restaurant or its owners in any way. We are just foodies that consider ourselves lucky to have very good Tex-Mex right down the road.

We have been to Fajita Jacks countless times, but I honestly enjoyed it more than ever this time. Isabella was our server last night and she was the most attentive, thoughtful server I have had anywhere, ever. We always had what we needed, and she even offered things we didn t consider, like a cup of ice for a Mexican Coke (glass bottle) and a to-go cup of Mountain Dew for the road - without us even asking. (She even requested a song be restarted when the music had cut out because we had been excited to hear it on the speakers outside!) This level of thoughtfulness and service goes a very, very long way in my book, and made the experience the best one we ve ever had. Isabella is such a sweet and kind person, and it is apparent that she cares. Someone like this in the service industry is truly special, so take care of her!! Thanks, Isabella!!

The reason my family and I visited today was simply due to an old waiter I we met a few years back. Freddie. We heard he was now working tables here and we wanted to come see him. Our trip was solely to see an old friend. Freddie is the best. We refer to him as Uncle Freddie to our kids. Nice change from resort food. Ordered Fajitas for 2 and it was enough to feed my wife, 4yo and 9yo. Waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. Would recommend. Kid-friendliness: They had kids coloring pages (always a must for my kids) and the atmosphere allowed for the kiddos to be a little more loud. I have been to fajita jacks more times than I can remember. Food is always great, servers are normally average. But we just had the absolute BEST waitress ever!! Her name is Caryn and she was the best waitress I ve ever had!! She is worth more than just being a waitress. Her customer relations skills were beyond anything I ve ever seen. We are new to the area. We came to your restaurant the other day and I we had a wonderful experience. The food was good our server was outstanding!! Carry. We will be back and Im asking to be seated in her area. She recommended Boss Margarita and it was BOSS!

Our servers name was Freddy and he had a trainee named Julia and they were FANTASTIC! Freddy has an amazing energy about him, its just infectious. Hes friendly, outgoing was more than helpful when I couldnt decide what to get. They both checked on us frequently and were fast. I honestly never had such amazing service before. My husband and I will definitely be going back not just for Fast Freddy and Sweet Julia but for the great food as well.

Edwin the manager is amazing. There was a problem with a to go order a few weeks ago. Fajitas to go with no tortillas or silverware. Didnt notice until we got to the pool. I called immediately and Edwin took my call. He said next time you come in it will be on us. We came back yesterday to eat inside the restaurant, he made it right. As humans it is impossible to avoid mistakes completely and Edwin did the right thing to make the problem right. Will always be a customer now. Thank you Fajita Jacks and Edwin for demonstrating proper leadership!

Allison & Kylee are amazing bartenders however, the managers need to really get some training on how to treat their staff!!! Have personally seen multiple managers talk to their bar staff in a very demeaning way! These girls and bar backs are hustling respect goes a long way!!!

Tonight I came to fajita jacks. I didn t think this place is gonna be crud, but my server Shelby completely turned around my experience. I had a great time and I ll come back every weekend while Shelby is working. Service was 10/10

We really enjoyed the outdoor area though it can get a bit crowded. The menus are a bit hard to read but the service has always been great. Especially the gal with the beautiful butterfly tattoos on her hand, she did a fantastic job! We were never out of chips, salsa or drinks. Will definitely be back!

Was really disappointed. It had been 8 years since wed visited the first time. The view was the only thing going for it this visit, sadly. I ordered a frozen Pina Colada that had so many ice bits that I was fighting to get any through the straw. When I did, I basically had to chew my drink. Why didnt I send back, you ask? Our waiter was nowhere to be found. Finally, we get to order! I ordered fajita chicken quesadillas that were dry and flavorless. Hubby had some kind of shredded chicken enchiladas that once again dry and flavorless. Waiter never came to check on us after someone else brought out our food. Finally came out for us to pay, then was asked if we wanted a printed receipt, said yes, but after waiting 10 min, we left.
