Resort prices coupled with crappy food! Save your money and go elsewhere, you ll leave here unsatisfied every time. The nacho meat was orange and made with low quality ingredients, and the chips were stale. The margarita was weak and small. Outdated decor and was just gross.

Came in on Thursday night and waited for about 5 minutes to be seated, nobody ever acknowledged we were there..walked up to the bar and asked if we could order food, she said yes and made some drinks and then came back and said, kitchen closed at 10. Came back in during the day on Friday and it was good. Came back Friday evening around 8 and wasnt good. Seems like night shift has a problem.

Food is okay. Nothing spectacular for bar food. Service depends on your wait staff. Some seem irritated to be working. Atmosphere is nice with great lake views and outdoor seating, but they really need to clean all the spider webs off the ceiling and off the outdoor furniture before seating guests for the day.

Stopped for coffee and a piece of key lime pie. Great views sitting outside under the awning while it was raining. It was a very peaceful sight. The key lime is tart but the coffee sets it off. I recommend if you re looking for that special piece of key lime.

Allie was a fantastic bartender. We saw her working so hard today, she served every person at the bar with a sense of urgency, she stopped what she was doing to be sociable with us. This was our first time, we greatly enjoyed being here, and we will come back all because of Allie. We also ran into Sammy, the assist director f&b what a great man.

I loved the view of the lake and the fun sand for the kiddos to play in while waiting. Our server was very kind and helpful, but the food was very disappointing. I recommend just appetizers here (if at all), the entrees were all overpriced for literally frozen food. $25 for frozen shrimp...no thank you.

I was so excited to try the food after having ate at a Margaritaville in another city that was so good, but here was very disappointing. I had the Korean gochuchang shrimp with the chips and dip. The shrimp tasted like it was drowned in sauce and then microwaved and the salsa was cheap store bought stuff, but the cheese dip was ok. At least the drinks were good and strong and the view of the lake was nice. I could see coming back for a drink, but they d be better off not selling food at all with the quality they re serving.

Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 @5:30pm Parking/docking- easy @this time The ambiance is relaxed and friendly. Service is phenomenal. We had a server named Sam and he was SUPERB! great attitude, attention to details, helpful, quick, and informative. The food was delicious. The fries contained a fantastic consistency. The crunch to softness ratio was on point. The burgers were both massive and delicious. Especially the aloha burger. The pineapple did a great job of adding a touch of sweetness. The wings are absolutely savory! Garlic Parmesan and Jerk flavoring were the choices we went with. The jerk chicken wrap was okay, I probably wouldnt order that again but everything else was spot on! Ask for Sam and enjoy yourself!

If I could give a negative rating I would. First off way overpriced and service was horrible le this makes the 3rd chance I have given them and it will be the last, 8 people standing around Im literally sitting at the bar ....easiest place to get serviced ....you would think..... 30 min to get a drink....... then ordered the taco nachos that took 45 min to get and when they came out were cold and soggy not to mention looked completely like my 7 yr old neice made them. Food and drinks are way overpriced due to being associated with margarittaville. Hands down top 3 worst service Ive had in my entire life and thats saying alot considering I love my food and beverages. I would have had better service from Ray Charles himself considering it was like no one knew I was there

Sat at the bar to get an app and some drinks waited over 30 minutes for the app as we are sitting at literally watch SIX employees just stand behind the bar talk laugh joke while one girl is working.. meanwhile both of our drinks ran out and not one person has asked if we want another drink.. being attached to margaritaville resort you would expect service to be top notch.. I dont think Ill be back. Ive had better service at a taco truck and didnt even understand what was being spoken to me

We had an awesome time at Landshark. The lake view was beautiful, and everything was great. Liz, the manager, took care of us and walked us through the whole Landshark experience. She found us a shady spot and even brought ice for our tired dog. The staff were friendly, and the food was amazing. The Hawaiian burger and fried shrimp were the best. We loved the attention and care. Definitely recommend Landshark for a chill, pet-friendly meal!

Patio view of the lake is nice. The burger is $20, but it is not the quality of a $20 burger. Its big, but its just not good quality meat. Think fast food quality not casual dining quality meat. The burger was lacking flavor, and its a pretty basic burger when it comes to presentation and toppings. Fries are also a $3 upgrade if you dont want chips which just screams money grabbing substitution charge. The beer glass didnt seem to be filled either. There was a pretty significant gap between where the pour stopped and the top of the glass. Looking around at other tables, other pours were full and others were low like mine, so theres no consistent standard among the bartenders. Server was nice, but very slow.

While the restaurant has a beautiful setup right on the lake where you can dock your boat and walk into the restaurant, the service and food are probably the worst you can find on Lake Conroe. Everything is overpriced because of the resort. Weve come here for a quick lunch 3-4 times while enjoying a day on the lake, and weve had the same experience every time. The staff is very rude and slow; the food is below average. There are much better restaurants a little further south on the lake. We will not be coming back anymore as the bad experience has been consistent every time.

We went there on a Friday it was not packed but there were people in the restaurant. Our waitress was horrible she took over thirty minutes just for drinks. Then our food, took over an hour. Nice view, the food was okay not great for the price. Needless to say I didn t feel the Margaritaville welcome we thought we would get. It is not worth the hassle at all.

If you are looking for a Sportbar, this is the place, I recommend their fish tacos 100% and also their margaritas. They have their own beer (Landshark) which is also very good. The most spectacular thing about this place is watching the sunset. I recommend this place 100000%

Landshark bar and grill is in a lovely location on Lake Conroe. Staff are friendly /helpfull. The food is way over priced ( to tune of $104.19). Its insulting to charge $20 for BBQ and Mushroom Swiss burgers. We expected something on an elevated level. Instead was of ordinary quality. The artichoke spinach dip was terrible, $15. We ended up paying an extra $3 on each entree plate to get fries with our burgers instead of chips. Our Margharitas were good, nothing special though. We could have eaten food of same or better quality for far less at any other restaurant. End synopsis youre paying for the fancy lakeside location. Food is sadly a secondary concern for them.

A beautiful place to enjoy some good food! The view was the reason we chose to visit, and the patio is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon meal. I will say, though, that you are paying for the view when it comes to the pricing of the menu. Its not exceptional food, but its enjoyable nonetheless. This is inside the Margaritaville Resort area, so parking is someone limited. However, there are designated accessible parking spaces. The dining area is wheelchair accessible. Bartenders were unfriendly. Rum runner drink was very bland. Half was left in the blender which tells me too much ice and diluted. Bar tender refused to taste but made another one. It was different and better but I have no idea what a good one is supposed to taste like. Atmosphere was subdued by the attitudes of bar and food service. What a Sad Depressing Disappointing Experience. Worked up an appetite all morning for the famous Beach Chips which are HOMEMADE CHIPS, as well as an ICE COLD LANDSHARK SIGNATURE DRAFT BEER. Arrived at normal lunch time to about maybe 3 tables of other guests.. not a rush.. Ordered the beach chips... NOT AVAILABLE, OUT OF BEACH CHIPS... Now, I a am not a Dr. of Culinary Arts, but if you offer French Fries Potatoes - and Pickle Chips Sliced Pickles I would think the same ingredients and skill set could be used to slice potatoes into HOME MADE chips. Definitely a disappointment to our entire hungry party. Ok - so... appetizer was a let down... But I Still had that ICE COLD DRAFT LANDSHARK SIGNATURE BEER, I had been looking to all morning... BUT WAIT! THERES MORE! No Draft Landshark.... at Landshark Bar and Grill... In the winter not the busiest time of year Now I can understand running out during the Parrothead Convention.. But not 12:00PM on a Friday in January when its struggling to hit 50 degrees outside. So I am offered a can... ok.. Ill take the can, May I please have a cold glass? Of course! but no - comes out in a warm plastic cup... Got a couple limes tho!. Oh well - My fish and chips was definitely fresh... out of a the frozen gordons fish sticks box... Terrible, zeros across the board. The good reviews you are seeing are 100% fake this is the worst food I have had all year. Do yourself a favor and scrape some bark off a tree for dinner rather than waste your time and money here. I will never see my $75 again. We did not finish our food or our drinks, both were terrible. Seasonings are forbidden here. If you attempt to smuggle in seasoning for your bland food, then they will tackle you at the door. No seasonings allowed within 500 feet of this resturant. If you ignore my warning and eat here then carefully read the menu, there are hidden upcharges left and right. We ate here because we thought it would be convenient due to location in the resort, but trust me, go elsewhere. The convenience is not worth the misery.

Last night restaurant had zero wings? Huh? At Margaritaville? And today, Mahi was rubbery on a fish sandwich and the fish tacos, fish pieces were tough and chewy. Even the subbed fries were chewy. Not a good result and looks like not an isolated incidence looking at the volume of one star reviews shoulda looked there first staff is trained to ask if you want to sub something without verbally disclosing it s an up charge I m on vaca and usually don t care about the cost but don t appreciate non disclosure Definitely need an improvement in food quality not worth it Staying at a pricey resort with poor food means it doesn t bode well for their future. We received our order and the lady didn t ask if we needed anything when we needed ketchup. I waited 7 mins and finally had to goto the bar to asked. LandShark Bar and Grill is a relaxing restaurant to kick your feet up after a long, enjoyable day at Margaritavilles pool and water park. From the rooms its only a 5ish minute walk. If possible, I highly recommend getting seated outside on the lake. It was enjoyable to sit and drink a beer, eat food,and enjoy the company of family! Highly recommend their fried shrimp basket! LandShark also has their own brand of beer!

First off, when we got there, it was so loud and they were doing karaoke. I get it some like that but not in a restaurant. We ordered fried pickles and there was like half a pickles worth of pickles for 12 bucks. My husband ordered the fish and chips and Ceasars salad with dressing on side. The dressing was on the salad and the fish looked frozen, when he asked the server if it was he could not answer. Also I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and they came back and told me they were out of grilled chicken so I ordered the wings. And they brought with no celery when I asked for celery they said they were out and asked if they could sub anything so I asked for chips. They brought them almost 10 mins later and then we were ready to go. Our check was $80. I didnt look at it bc I was irritated at this point, but I am pretty sure they charged us for the chips since they didnt have celery. We will never be back

I came here Tuesday night 07/25/23 to get a drink for my son and husband because the pool bar was closed and the girl bartender completely ignored me. She stood infront of me TWICE and ignored me. I finally ask her if I could order something to drink and immediately rudely asked for my id before I could order (I was ordering a Virgin Pina colada for my son). After I get my drink she asks for my room number and tells me I m good to go without giving me a receipt to sign or anything. I leave and tell my husband and he goes back for me to find out she added her OWN TIP!!!!! 0/10 do not recommend she should me fired with that behavior.

If i could leave 0 stars i would . Went to eat here yesterday me my wife and two kids ordered fish tacos for my daughter the fish was burnt and extra salty .she could not eat it . Ordered a burger for my toddler the patty was half uncooked disgusting i ordered the wrap and it was burnt as well . We ate there cause we were staying at the resort and the first night it took about 30 minutes for a waitress to come over. When we got our food, it looked like it had been sitting for a while and not even hot. Second night was a little better, thats cause we sat at the bar and ordered, that was the whole reason we got our food a little quicker. The bartenders were Cool, but thats about it.

My husband and I have our 7 and 12 year old great grandsons for the Summer. We have a place at Lake Conroe and we were there while the boys went to camp. We were ready for a little time to ourselves. We got in the boat and drove around the lake and headed to Margaritaville. Have seen it several times but never stopped. We looked on Google and saw that LandShark Bar and Grill was open to the public. Parked the boat and went inside to sit at the bar. We shared the delicious Taco Nachos and had a margarita. Then we sat out on the deck and listened to live music. What a great afternoon we had and it is definitely a place we will return to.

Had dinner here last night. 3 adults, 4 older kids. Service took a long time. We were ready to go after a long day so I handed my card to server Cesar. When I received the check, it was not itemized but I signed anyways leaving $40 not realizing I had already paid the auto 18% gratuity. I noticed it this morning that they charged the $40 separately only to check the reviews and sure enough, they already charge 18%. So beware (check your bill!) and make sure to not tip extra because what a rip off. Food was not so great.

Visited this place on a Sunday morning at 11am. We started outside. I ate the blackened fish sandwich with fries complimented with a blue moon. Good... I didnt feel like the fish was blackened, but it was cooked perfectly and that was fine by me. Then our party left and came back later that afternoon and continued the fun inside at the bar. Lots of people but not over crowded. The staff were attentive, nice, and courteous. Will have to go back.

Parking: It s a lake resort, the boat parking is a half a mile away and they have a golf cart that chargers $150 to drive you to the hotel. There was plenty of parking in the back of the hotel but you cannot park your trailer there. It does not make sense. They obviously know that boat parking is needed, they have a lot of signs that read no boat parking. You are supposed to cater to your customers not block them.

So it s our last night in the resort and we decided to go to this restaurant since the food is good and they have a variety of food to choose from since my husband order here the day before for to go. Long story short we went there for dine in for party of 5 so the lady in the front told 15-20 mins wait so I said it s ok, we ve been waiting and waiting and we still didn t get any table, the only thing I don t like is there s a lot of people that came there with bigger party than us and they were seated right away we wait 35 mins before I ask the other lady in the front if how long we still wait and she give me an attitude and told me that they only have 1 available seats and only for 4 so I told her you ll been giving seats to other with more than 5 people and until now you didn t give me so we just decided to leave because her attitude was to the roof. My kids and I are disappointed because of what happen. I think you ll should start checking on the people that waiting to seat rather than ignoring them like we ain t there and we re standing infront of you ll.

I dislike being too harsh on servers and managers as someone who worked in the food industry for years, but some of the behaviors exhibited are unacceptable. Our party of six constantly had to flag down our waiters throughout the meal, which had multiple mistakes. Items were forgotten or wrong, and we had to wait a while to get the corrected item, and the food was mediocre for the price. On their Facebook, it states that a 20% discount is available for people who live around lake Conroe. However, when we tried to get the discount for two of our party members who live on lake Conroe, they said the discount only applied to residents of Walden. At that point, we really just wanted to get our checks and be done with it, so we said that was fine. The staff kept asking higher and higher though, and kept our checks in the back for a while, so we were unable to leave. When we finally did get the checks back, they mixed up our cards in the back and I was charged for someone elses order. I ordered a 12$ house salad and was charged 38$. Fortunately the incorrect bill was someone I knew, so we decided to just venmo the money instead of making the staff refund and redo our checks. Again, at this point we really just wanted to leave and enjoy the rest of our stay. Later on, however, the manager Jorge approached our door with corrected bills. Apparently, one of our parents called to complain about the service (we are all adults). So Jorge came to our door with a solution, but instead of handing us the revised bills he decided to target one of our members and yelled at her because her parent had complained. This is what we had the biggest issue with. Multiple times when we talked to him outside the door, we tried to apologize and end the conversation, but he kept escalating the issue and was yelling and arguing. As someone who was a supervisor, I am embarrassed by the audacity to yell at customers who were civil and didnt complain at the restaurant, and even tipped ON TOP of the AUTOMATIC 18% gratuity fee. After all was done, the fixed bill wasnt even correct. I received a 6 dollar refund from the restaurant. 38-12 is 26 (that is before tips and tax) But again, we really do not want to bother interacting with the staff again. I leave this review not to be petty or to get anything out of it, I just want to let future customers know what to expect.

This place is an overpriced tourist attraction... The food was only average at its very best. No one in my party had anything nice to say about the food. Way too expensive! The lake is cool to look at while you eat, but its not cool enough to charge $20.00 for a burger. Youre really just paying them for the name, and the location. I wont go back again, and I live up the street. (I could drive my golf cart to this restaurant, its that close.)

I really like this place, especially outside dining on the water. But you will pay resort prices. If they offered a local discount, I would go every week for drinks and snacks. The fish tacos are great and I enjoyed the Beach Chips. You will get the hot afternoon sun on the patio in the summer. The most difficult is parking. Guests of the resort use the restaurant lot to park as it is the closest lot to the hotel doors. On our last visit, early on a Friday, we were actually leaving to go somewhere else for drinks and food when we got lucky with someone vacating a parking space. For locals, it s best to avoid the weekends and remember you are paying resort prices.

The only saving grace of eating here today was our server, Kendall, and she was awesome. We had to send our friend shrimp and fried fish back. Both were so over fried that they were hard to even eat and the shrimp was a dried up little ball in the batter. The fish was gross and fishy and cod should be tasty and flakey. I asked for mayo and they brought out this I refrigerated bottle that was runny and Luke warm so no thanks. I ended up getting a much room burger and that was very tasty. I think they need a new chef.

As with the rest of the margaritaville property, this place was a beautiful setup, with overpriced and HIGHLY salted food, served by clueless employees that were struggling to communicate with patrons. Can I get the Philly with no mushrooms? I don t know, let me ask. Yes. How big is the kids burger? I don t know, I can ask. Is the beef taco ground beef or sliced beef? I don t know. Let me see if I can ask. Got a third of the way through the Philly, so salty couldn t finish it. The kids burger, too. They ate less than half. Turkey club, salt city before the bacon. It was an hour wait while staring at 50% of tables clean and ready to use. this is not an exaggeration. We counted full 50%. I can t say enough about the food. There was four of us and we all loved our meals. From wings, fish basket, burger to shrimp basket they were all fresh and delicious.
