Stopped by after a hard workout, called an order in because Im always rushing. Got there and was told that I had to wait for them to cook it, was going to have to cancel it due time constraints. The young lady checked on it and it was being bagged up by the most amazing server, Nicolas or George from the to go staff has everything moving! Loved it! Will come again definitely! I ordered the egg white Lupe frittata, blueberry Belgium waffles with jalapeno sausage, and a mimosa-rita, get you some and enjoy!

When you get to buy only 6 tacos and they charge you for an entire barbecue... I dont know if its because I arrived when they were already closing but I think its too expensive for what I ordered... 6 tacos for almost $50 I think its a lot but it was the first and last time I went to that place...

Dont change your mind on an item because your waiter will grow an attitude and stop treating you kindly. Huffing in your face, forgetting the rest of your order, and avoiding your table while still expecting a tip. The manager will also come out and try to pressure you to keep the food even though youve stated multiple times that you dont feel good and would rather not! This made me feel like I caused a huge inconvenience which spoiled my night. 1st and last time coming here.

My 3rd time trying to add my review. Staff is horrible. I needed water because the sauce and chips irritated my throat and I was about to go into a coughing spell. Our waitress I guess didnt realize I needed water right away so I went to the bar. Requested water then the female bartender got irritated with me and rolled her eyes up to the ceiling when I asked again. I said I feel like I am about to choke and the other woman hurriedly gave me some water which I greatly appreciated. Even after the eyeball rolling, I apologized for my abruptness. I went back to my table and the waitress did not give me any eye contact the whole time. Basically ignored me, but was attentive to my other family members. Guess when I jumped up to get water, she took it the wrong way. My husband paid the check and I gave her the check with a $20 tip, only then she looked at me quickly and thanked me. Moral of the story, even when you think someone is being rude, they probably are not. Doesnt give anyone the right to be rude back. Worse experience ever! I just needed water.

Restaurant is clean and spacious. The fajita plate is delicious no I love their huge tortillas. The food is a bit overpriced, service was great they were quick during lunch hour made no mistakes in our order. We had a group of 10 people the hostess was very friendly and hockey accommodated us.

Generally speaking, I love Lupe Tortilla and will sometimes drive a longer distance to the Sugar Land location if I need my to go order quickly or dont have time for errors with my order. The curbside to go at the Sienna Location is very slow and notorious for errors - they really need an overhaul or lessons in efficiency. I really want them to get it right. Somebody please help this location out.

Listen Sienna check your order and food quality!! Spent $140 bucks for lunch and they missed part of my order but more disturbing they put my beef fajita into a plastic container that was cut open so I have plastic fajita .$61 bucks down the drain!!! Today around 12:15p my granddaughter, and her friend went for lunch and they were seated at a table. They waited for the waiter or someone to bring chips and dips to their table that never happened. There was another couple that came behind them and they were given chips and dips. They were still waiting since no chips and dip for someone to come ask for their drink or and that didnt happen either. My granddaughter said there was 2 young ladies just standing looking around but no one ever came to their table. At this time after waiting approximately 15 or 20 minutes they got up and left since her friend had to go back to work. This type of service is not acceptable in any establishment. I wouldnt think they would be going back after this type of service.

I placed a carry out order (preordered 2 hours in advance) I waited about 7 minutes for my food to even come out because they were waiting on a few things . Only to have ALL of my food COLD, TERRIBLE portion sized $27 trio 1/2 lb fajita (that was absolutely ridiculously small), HARD tortillas, and I was missing an order. I called to speak with a manager who was very helpful, but this isn t the first time I ve had an experience like this. This place has seriously gone downhill the last year or so!!

So disappointed. We try to give this place a try and yet it always seems to fail in some basic way. To prevent this, we try to double check our carry- out order bc it is always wrong. This time, we even asked about the corn tortillas because we didn t see them in the bag; the person responded they are with the flour tortillas and were packed. As suspected, when we got home there were no corn tortillas despite being clearly indicated in fajita order. Summary of issues: 1. No corn tortillas as ordered 2. No black beans as ordered with one of taco platters 3. No sides with 1/2 lb fajita order (no sour cream nor pico) 4. Fajita order was for chicken only received beef and chicken combo. Not sure how it is possible to mess up basic parts of our order, but it s been a pattern now a problem. We will go down the street because this has happened way too many times now. I don t think the staff care about the quality of their service. Unfortunate.

This was the worst experience Ive had in a restaurant in a very long time. The queso was cold....I dont like cold stiff cheese, so my husband nicely asked Samantha(waitress) for another one. She had the nastiest look on her face and said, Its free. As she rolled her eyes, snacked her lips, and snatched the cold cheese from in front of us she just walked away without no apology. The rest of the dinner wasnt any better. She continued to freeze us out, making us wait 30 mins for drinks even though we were sitting with her at the bar, ignored several requests to order, and gave us burnt ribs. The manager wasnt any help. He saw that my husband and I had attempted to eat two of the burnt ribs and refused to replace the order. They charged us $75.00 for this mess.

The menu is hella misleading... first the large order of nachos is 10 chips with topping on them on an oversized plate... if you gone charge me almost 20.00 I need a full plate period... My wife and I have visited this location on several occasions (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).....the food and service have been excellent every time weve been! EDIT, 4/6/23: The comments about this location regressing are unfortunately true. We would eat here at least once a month, but after last night I think we ll be taking a break. Inconvenienced the host who was playing on his phone, seated at a dirty table (waitress wiped crumbs off with the menu when she finally showed up and we asked for it to be wiped off we were moved to another table, but then another couple sat at the unwiped table 5 minutes after we moved), took 15-20 minutes to get chips and margaritas, food over the last few visits has been very meh. Hopefully management can get it together because this place used to be . EDIT, 5/21/24: Glad to report we opted to give Lupe another try and they definitely turned things around.

Horrible Experience. We went to celebrate my nieces first communion last Sat, May 4. We asked for tables outside but they said they couldnt put tables together for 15 people AND that they also couldn t do it inside. They finally gave us a table for 10 inside and we decided to seat our kids on a separate table. We should have left but we were hungry and decided to stay. They took more than an hour and a half to serve us our food. Our kids were so hungry and came to our table asking for their food every 2 minutes. We had to request for the manager for our food to finally get to us. When we finally got our food my tacos were hard and cold. I decided to return my tacos al carbon and cancel my order. A manager, a white man came to our table with a rude attitude to ask me if I wanted another plate of tacos while he was holding the same plate I had just returned. I kindly replied, No thanks. I had to canceled my order & I dont trust that the cooks will be happy to make my order again. So, no please cancel my order. He ignorantly responded, Those things dont happen in this type of restaurant. Ill do them myself. he was forcefully trying to convince me to keep my order AND with an attitude because he did not ONCE apologize for the inconvenience. I m really disappointed we stayed but that s the last time I visit this place. Definitely stay away & don t waste your money here.

We Request our favorite waiter and he prepared a table for us, but the manager all of a sudden realize that he was busier than other staff members and decided to tell us that there was no room in his area, although there was a table ready for us. So to Force you his decision, he has had us waiting for the 20 minutes. Now they tell us that there is a four table limit per waiter, which we have never ever experienced before in this restaurant. We have been coming to this restaurant for years and this is the story but be warn if you have a favorite waiter and they have four tables you re not gonna get served.

I ordered online for pick up. Was to be ready by 1:30 pm. A woman came at 1:40 to say that order was waiting on the soup. At 1:56 I had heard nothing further. I started to go inside and met her coming out with my order. I inquired why it took so long. She said first the soup. Then they checked the fajitas and found them undercooked. She said the delay was due to quality assurance . If we were dining inside I would either leave or expect a substantial discount. I was offered a drink for the delay! I declined. This is the second time I have ordered online for pick up. The first time had the SAME PROBLEM. Use curbside pickup only if you have time to spare and enjoy sitting in your car. And don t tip ahead of time. I had already tipped the restaurant for the service .

Bartenders did not greet me. I then asked for drinks. I also was ready to put my order in and Caitlin told me to wait on BiBi because she was making lime juice .okay so i asked BiBi she said let me get everyone drinks ok i waited then 12 minutes passed i asked. BiBi started helping with lime juice i said can you put my order in. She finally did it. The store was not busy at all. It took about 40/50 minutes to get fajita and a taco salad to go i expressed my concern to FOH manager at the time he was not helpful or apologetic to the situation at all. MUST EAT HERE! My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch and our server Amber took extremely good care of making sure she moved quick got us what we asked for and did all of it with a smile all while trying to get to know us between doing her job. Hands down the best service we have received at a restaurant let alone by the waitress. It even went as far as the chef James, coming out to say hi to us and talk to us about the food. Overall great place will be back! We had the Trio fajitas (chicken steak and shrimp 1/2 pound) was enough food for both of us and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommended.

This mexican joint didnt have the worst foods, but the wait time was way too long. We ordered 2 dishes and waited nearly an hour. While the waiter was alright, the time was unexeptable without any update of what was taking up. We will most likely not return due to 3 main factors. I thought ok my sales team of 10 there. The food was great and Ryan was superb service. But they stuffed us in the back corner in a table that meant for 6 but they put 10 of us there. Ther service at this location is POO!! I love Lupe and have been to various locations in the Houston area but this is the one location right up the street from me and EVERY time I try to give them a chance to redeem themselves they fail. The location when you pull in and the entrance has that south the border unique design, rustic but well thought out. This doesnt stop when you go in, but instead continues to pass the entrance on to where the servers accommodate you to show case the decorations hanging around the walls. The service was good, but it seemed that they had someone new, which I dont mind as we all have to start from somewhere. The food was good, just that my date is not into spicy food, but it seems that every plate from the quesadillas to the chicken plates has some spicy condiments. A simple label to identify what is on the menu how Panda Expresses does it on its menu to warn you what it carries would greatly make it for a more pleasant meal. Other than that, I find the restaurant very accommodating and layback. Would most likely come again with a more prepared knowledge on what is on each dish.

The service I received was not good. Manager James, did come to the table after he was called due to waitstaff including himself agreeing to close the garage door down where we were eating because there was a table that was cold. The issue was that our table was never asked if it would be ok or how we felt. Prior to being seated we asked for that particular table because it was near the open patio area. Once he came to the table he extended an apology on behalf of his staff, nothing else was done. I spent over a hundred dollars that evening. and I felt the manager could have done more to accommodate us at that moment. The table that demanded the doors be closed had just walked in and our table party of 3 was there an hour or so before they even walked in. So why would that table get different treatment than others?

Lupes has several locations all around the Houston area. They are generally a well run group that provides good training for a relatively consistent experience with service and food. This location is not the best, having struggled a bit since COVID. But they are getting better, and a solid choice in the Sienna area. The margaritas are good... The skinny margarita is a good balance of not being too sweet. You will get a good traditional Tex Mex experience here, complete with the decor and music. The patio is nice when the weather is nice. A great spot to grab a margarita on a Friday afternoon. The food is alright, a little hit or miss. The fajitas are excellent.

Service was not good! And for a manager to be helping. We hardly ever saw the server. I had ask for tea for myself & received. A good server wouldve seen that everyone needed a refill. Most everyone didnt have any drink left. . So I asked for tea for everyone. In my opinion, everyone was more interested in the game than taking care of paying customers. When we went to leave, there were more workers around the bar than serving. We were in town for a tournament. The food was Not up to a Lupe Tortilla standards. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Affordable meals and cocktails with great taste can make a quick family or date outing pleasant. Our server Ryan was a very nice and knowledgeable staff member. Where he was able to accommodate us with a dish he did and his positive attitude made our visit even more enjoyable. Would definitely patron this location again.

I placed an order for pickup today at 11:30. When I got there and checked in, ten minutes had passed and no one came out so I went inside. I told the hostess why I was there and she pointed me in the direction of where I could pick it up: an area next to the bar with no one there. I stood over there thinking, possibly, someone would come over and see how I could be helped. I even saw my food just sitting on the counter; it only needed to be bagged and given to me. It was NOT packed in the restaurant at this time so Im not sure why it had taken so long in the first place. A woman was at the empty bar pouring a drink and messing with lemons and never bothered to say anything to me. Workers came out and no one bothered to say anything. Then a guy dressed in all black with a man bun and glasses walked out. I was pretty sure he was the manager and he walked past me with no acknowledgement and stopped at the booth RIGHT NEXT TO ME and introduced himself and said if they needed anything to let him know. Then he breezed right past me once again and went back into the kitchen never asking one time if I had been assisted. Do they not get trained on asking a customer if they need help or were they asleep during the presentation? I made my way back to the hostess and asked if she could call someone to assist me since apparently I was invisible to everyone. I then saw someone walking out with my food after 20 minutes and I told her I saw it and then left to get it from the employee. My family and I were just in there two weeks ago and had amazing service. I preferred this location since I got food poisoning as a result of going to the Pearland location. But after todays treatment? Ill never set foot in there again. If I have to drive all the way to Sugar Land then thats just what Ill do. EVERY customer should be treated the same regardless of how they look. But that is not what happened today and Im still angry about it. My money spends just like anyone elses and I should be treated equally. Apparently more training needs to be had because this was just completely unacceptable. They wont get the chance to disrespect me like this again.

Lupe Tortilla definitely has the potential to be 5 stars but I dont know if they will ever invest in what it takes to do that. My wife and I walked in and were seated near instantly. It wasnt a huge crowd though there were several gathered at the bar watching Football. Once seated, it took a solid 13 minutes or so before we were greeted by our server. She checked in to let us know she would be right back. That took another 18 minutes. When she returned, wed already figured out an appetizer, main entree, and drinks (we had plenty of time since it took so long). She brought chips and 2 kinds of salsa, bean salsa and your typical red salsa. Salsa and chips were both good. Chips were thin, just the right amount of salt, crispy and flavorful. Salsa was also pretty good. A little spicy but not too much. We ordered the following: - Shrimp and Avocado Campechano (App) - Trio Fajitas - Lobster Tacos - Margarita Flight (3 different flavors) - Blanca Sangria Before tip, that entire meal was $117. A bit expensive for a restaurant that casual if you ask me. Heres what we liked: - Margarita flight was good per my wife. Good flavor choices and mixed well - The Trio Fajitas were good. I also ordered it with the jalapeno sausage which was exceptional. I also really enjoyed their tortillas. They taste like they are made from scratch. I had corn and flour. Shrimp, chicken and steak were seasoned well. Tender and flavorful. What we didnt like: - Shrimp and Avocado Campechano just didnt do it for us. Almost tasted like a bloody mary and Campbells tomato soup mixed together with overly gamey tasting shrimp - Lobster tacos were just OK. They didnt really mesh with my wife. She ate them but because she was starved. - Blanca Sangria was too sweet and almost tasted like they werent finished making it. Wasnt a fan. The manager did come by towards the end of our meal to ask us if we were doing OK and if we needed anything. I like that and I think all restaurants should do that. But most times, I wont give negative feedback about something unless its unbearably bad since I know they are busy. All in all, Lupe Tortillas should tune up their wait staff with training and customer expectations, hire more efficient cooks and make sure the bartenders are getting the drinks right. I am sure this place will get more business and repeat customers as a result. We may go back in a pinch but would rather try other restaurants in the area first.

We came in as a large party but said we were willing to separate as long as we could still be somewhat close to each other. They put half of us in a room with tables that could have easily been put together to accommodate all of us and then sat the rest of our group at 4 different tables around the restaurant away from each other and everyone else. When I asked to move them to the same room as us (bc there was plenty of space for them) the hostess huffed and rolled her eyes. Only one group was allowed to move. The whole experience was ridiculous and could have been easily accommodated but they were unwilling.

Great experience 95% of the time. We usually end up there 2-3 a month. If they could change something I would say take off the feature on the website that tells you how long the wait is going to be. It always says come on in there is no wait and it normally is wrong.

This location is a no go for me. The food was great but the service was really slow. The table arrangement and design of the restaurant is awkward and hard to get around in. An elderly lady was getting sick at the table next to me and no one came to help. Naturally I went over and helped her while I was waiting for to-go boxes. My waitress finally brought to-go boxes but no check. After waiting for quite a while I asked for my check. She never returned. So I went to the front and waited for someone to greet me. Finally the manager came and I told her I was about ready to walk out without paying because I was so frustrated. The manager showed no empathy when she responded with if you do that I ll call the police and I m sure the waitress didn t take that long I can pull up the video and look at the time stamp .

Good, but they need to do better checking folks orders... As high as food is today, the worst thing to do is pick up your order only to find that its short... Make sure to get it right, and folks get what their hard earned dollars paid for... it goes with service...

Ramiro the manager was very rude. My wife stop there and order fajitas. The fajitas were really salty she ask for the manager Ramiro and he said thats how they cooked the food. Im not recommending this please. I think managers should be able to work with the customers.

Everything about this place was good but not the best. Our server didnt seem to be interactive with our group, the food just took way too long to get to our table. The atmosphere was pretty okay, could say the same thing for the food nothing too spectacular but decent. Food is reasonably priced, and theres plenty of space for seating. Vegetarian options: I did like the fact that they had a separate vegetarian menu although its not extensive compared to other restaurants, it provided options.
