This place is way overpriced. $27 for 2 pieces of catfish and 6 shrimp. No ac in the place, its hot as hell in here. NO drinks absolutely pathetic! The food was too salty and had no taste. Last time ever doing business here.

I am from Wisconsin and no one here in Houston area fries fish like home, but Willys comes real close. Always big portions cooked to my satisfaction!

I ve been a customer for a few years. As a black business it s a disservice to the underrepresented community to be late opening or don t open at all. Arriving whenever you want and look as if you the customer is wrong for having expectations. I waste my lunch time waiting for the owner to show up to learn she was sitting in her car next to me on the phone for 20 min. when I could ve spent my time and money elsewhere. The food is okay, but not great. The restaurant is so uninviting, dusty and smells weird. I like to support black business, but this is the stereotypical behavior we try to eliminate! This is not a good representation of black businesses. So unfortunate a lot of missed opportunities. If the owner doesn t care.. why support?

Catfish where? Not Here! Bland seasoning not the taste I expected from a place called Catfish Willys . I was expecting Cajun, home cooked food. Thats not what I got. Other dishes might be better but I wont try the catfish again. Only reason l gave 2 stars is because customer service was pretty good and the iced tea was freshly made

The food was hot and fresh. The cornmeal coating was too crumbly and the presentation was not favorable. But I will say, the person waiting on me was friendly and brought the meal to my car. Good but definitely great.

Finally, my first time....and unfortunately my last. Walked in and spoke to a very pleasant Woman....called back in after my trip and the condescending GIRL in the back stunk up my whole experience. I dont pay for people to TRY and treat me like dirt.

Ive been going here for almost 20 years. The fish is always crunchy and crispy like I like it. They use cornmeal like at the house. Its always seasoned, not too salty not to bland. I go back ever so often when its open. This is the best fried fish outside of my own kitchen. Pappadeaux needs to buy her recipe.

Owner needs to have better customer service. Menu on website states certain meals comes with drinks. I specifically ordered a kids meal just to get a drink which the menu says I could get one.... just to hear , no drink comes with kids meals! Definitely too high for the quality of food! I will never return. Everything has to be ordered separately. To the owner and or worker that was in there when I came... fix your attitude because I m spending MY money here.

I tried this place cause I saw it listed as a BOB and the reviews were good. I walked in and ordered and there was a 25-30 min wait (I should have called ahead). I ordered the special with the filet & 3 shrimp. I ordered the 3 filets for my mom. My filet was very small but all 3 of my moms were a nice size. I requested gumbo and peach cobbler but neither were available. The swamp water (cherry lemonade) was good. I wish it came in a larger size. The service & food was good and I would definitely return.

Saw it online on a Friday of Lent , looked good so I went and it satisfied my eyes!! Most definitely need to expand your business near the NRG stadium! I volunteer with The Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo and also 89.3 Ksbj so especially during Rodeo on Friday shifts i have to eat fish so it be nice to have yall near by!! I can do without the bread. The tarter sauce is ok but overall very delicious. Corolla grey car with a rosary hanging. Your fish is the way to go!!!!

NOT GOOD AT ALL,I HAD 2 CATFISH FILLETS,3 SHRIMP WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE JUMBO,AND FRIED CORN ON THE COB,CORN MEAL EVERY WHERE,NOT TASTY AT ALL,FRIED TOO HARD,THE CORN WAS ACTUALLY COOKED IN THE SAME GREASE AS THE FISH & SHRIMP,I DID NOT KNOW THAT S WHAT THEY MEANT WHEN THEY SAID FRIED CORN,FRIED CORN WHERE I COME FROM IS FRIED IN A PAN,I AM NOT FROM TEXAS,BUT I WILL NEVER GO TO CATFISH WILLY S AGAIN,I AM ANGRY THAT I SPENT 20.00 ON A GARBAGE MEAL, WOW AND MY FAMILY IS IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS, SO I KNOW THIS FOOD WAS NOT COOKED PROPERLY

I had the blackbean burger with sweet potato fries. It was yummy. They no longer sell catfish, at all but from what I understand if you are interested in catering, you can get catfish. Catfish is not on the menu.

The catfish is not real catfish. The fish was salty, fried hard, and it didnt have much meat in the inside. Im visiting from Dallas Tx and staying in Seabrook Tx. We drove 45 minutes in the heavy rain THINKING were going to CATFISH. BOY WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. When we got there I looked at the reviews and seen all the bad rates. I ask the girl if it was real catfish and she said yes but she also have another name for the catfish. I was hesitant but since we drove so far and was hungry we placed the ordered. WORD OF ADVISE WHENEVER SOMEONE GIVE YOU ANOTHER NAME FOR SOME CATFISH ITS NOT CATFISH... it was an horrible exprience... Never again will we go back...

I try Catfish Willies for the first time,and I loved it a lot. It was fresh and fulfilling. My husband had the fried pork chop dinner and he loved it a lot also. We loved it so much we going back for lunch tomorrow.
