My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this place! Everything tasted so fresh and natural, just like homemade. The pancakes were incredible with their perfectly crispy edges, and the grits were to die for so creamy and flavorful! On top of the great food, the atmosphere was stunning. Nothing pairs with biscuits like gravy, and nothing pairs with gravy like jazz. Olivers gourmet is a gem. Fantastic and creative food in a welcoming environment served by people who understand the finer points of Hospitality and Jazz Music. The dining room is always comfortable and gives a great soundtrack for your Yummy Dance I could go on and on about the Prime Time Sliders, but breakfast foods make me happiest and their biscuits and gravy are the best. This place is a gem!!! I recently discovered it and now its a must at least twice a week! If you desire a quaint spot to sit back and enjoy jazz music piping in the background, a delicious cup of java,a plate the best pancakes with crispy edges served with warm syrup, this is the place to go! The hostesses are so nice and inviting and are always attentive to your every desire. The breakfast tacos are amazing as well! Id like to see a protein side offered with pancakes such as bacon or sausage. The orders for both are somewhat small in portion for the price you pay, especially when you only get 2 pieces of bacon and 1 sausage round. The Burger is delicious and juicy, but again small in size for the amount charged. Overall, a great place to dine for dinner as well.

My wife and I visited Oliviers last night and had another wonderful 5-star experience. Oliviers is small/cozy thus the ambience is great, you can actually hear people at your table. The food is amazing. My absolute favorite is the salmon which they do to perfection (salmon is one of my favorites wherever I go, and i have been to a lot of restaurants, but Olivers does it the best and consistent), which I always precede with a cup of Lobster Bisque. But last night we tried the off-the-menu Gourmet Smash burger (the wife and I shared it and still took some home). To be honest I dont do burgers very often but wanted to try this one and it was amazing - I will definitely be ordering it again soon. It was served with a side of tater tots which, as expected, were not your standard tots and were great. The staff is awesome, friendly and the place is immaculate. It has quickly become our local favorite.

You can guarantee that everything on Oliver s menu is best in class. Breakfast sandwiches? Yes, they re amazing. The McFancy? Blows a McMuffin out of the water. The Mediterranean? Easily one of the best veggie sandwiches I ve ever tried. And please don t skip the Reuben, it s life changing. Even the sides and desserts are incredible, I highly recommend the warm potato salad, red pepper soup, and strawberry shortcake.

The absolute BEST breakfast I ve had since my grandma s cooking! The pancakes were delicious, tasteful, soft and melted in your mouth! The crispy edges on the pancakes reminded me of Saturday morning breakfast at my Granny s. The grits were creamy and buttery and the shrimp I added on top were so flavorful! I love this place! The food is excellent! Im addicted to the Prime Time sandwich with warm potato salad! By far, the best Lobster Bisque I have ever had! Their breakfast is outstanding too! I do not care for regular grits, but I couldnt stop eating theirs - it is that good! The decor is simple and elegant; they play a quiet jazz; and you can easily carry a conversation with your friends. Their service is outstanding - I never have to ask for anything. Im from the DFW area. Searched for a noncommercial breakfast spot and this was near my hotel. Lets get into these creamy grits! Lord had blessed the hands in the kitchen because many cannot perfect that! The biscuit was BUTTERY, just the way my mama made them. The Ambience is beautifully done. AND....this prayer wall? Yes... Let your request be made known to God! There isnt much service as you do order at the register and they will bring your food out to you. There isnt much interaction during your diningexperience, which to me is perfectly fine. I gave them 5 stars because they were friendly and professional. My wife and I went to Olivers Gourmet at the recommendation of a friend, and we were not disappointed. They have been open about a year and they already seem to have a loyal following. It is a cozy but open and bright little restaurant. The food was great and I know we will be back. We had the Greek salad, and a fancy take on a pulled pork sandwich. Also, try their lattes, hot or cold. They are very tasty. They are open for breakfast and lunch every day, and serve dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. My niece mentioned this place that popped up on her phone and suggested we try it. It was definitely worth it! We had breakfast that was so delicious. I personally had two tacos, one with bacon and the other with sausage, and coffee. My niece had pancakes that were so light and fluffy that all 4 of us tried and enjoyed! Three of our group had the grits that were smooth, creamy and delicious! The only issue of concern was one of the workers that checked on a table near us, but turned away from us without checking on us. It was brought to the owners attention and that person was very kind and attentive towards us afterward. We will definitely come back though and hopefully that will not be an issue again with anyone.

Love the decor, warm and cozy. Seems to attract a much older crowd and mainly women. Food was amazing and good sized portions for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Drink refills were a tad confusing. There were tea dispensers on the counter but no ice. The glasses were small so I didnt drink much because I ran out of ice and didnt want to keep interrupting my conversation to get refills. Someone did visit the table once to check on us so I did get more ice then. Overall, wonderful visit, will return again and again. Parking: Plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant.

An Absolute Gem of a find in the MO City area. My co-worker and I went in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful colors of the interior design to the cutlery that was offered. This small but vibrant little spot left no guess if they put in a great deal of thought to their customers comfort and welcoming vibe. I had the Olivers breakfast, which was very basic in design, yet one could tell the quality of the ingredients. I used to be a culinary trainer, and I could easily tell the quality of the hand cut bacon, the temperature controlled grits, which were recommended and rightfully so, and the fluffliness of the biscuit. Even the eggs were made with the correct amount of sea salt preparation. Even the preserves may have been homemade as it was not even sweet, just a great topping to the buttery biscuit. An Absolute treat on a Wednesday that I look forward to trying again soon. Not to mention the wall of their namesake; this little place quickly gets your appreciation as a consumer. Cheers

My first trip to Olivers gourmet brightened my mood and warmed my tummy. After a hectic morning in traffic dropping two kids off at separate schools, I breathe the sigh of relief to walk into this beautiful well-appointed clean restaurant playing smooth jazz at just the right volume. I was greeted by the owner at the counter who had the perfect suggestion for my slow delicious breakfast. The Oliver is the way to go if youre not in a hurry with two eggs any style bacon or sausage grits or potatoes and a side of toast or biscuit you can have a true Southern breakfast just the way you like it. The biscuit was the star of this meal. Or rather the salty, short-crust, buttery pillow of goodness had just the right amount of crunch around the edges and was the perfect first bite. I will certainly be back to sample their lunch and look forward to date night to enjoy their Friday/Saturday only dinner offerings. A real MoCity gem.

Another great meal at Oliver s. We ve tried breakfast and lunch which were both excellent. We went for dinner for the first time tonight. And it was excellent again. We were a table of 11 and the service was smooth and the food was superb. We ordered the focaccia for appetizers and the bread was so soft but also crispy and toasted on top. The whipped feta added so much flavor to the bread. Various meals went around the table but everyone wiped their plates clean. For dessert we shared the strawberry shortcake and the cinnamon biscuits. The biscuits are some of the best I ve had. We always have a such a nice time here. It is truly a gem of a dining experience. Highly recommend. Parking: Plenty of parking. Huge lot. Kid-friendliness: It s a beautiful restaurant, but not anti-kid. I have four kids from 9-1.5 that we were very comfortable taking. Olivers is the BEST!!! The place is beautiful and the food is so delicious . The service is great!! This was my second visit - my Mom and her friends go often. I am so glad they came to Missouri City, because we just dont have many places to go without driving to Hwy 6. The cappuccino is excellent and I am so in love with the green cups. The Restaurant Story is beautiful . Once you visit one time you will be back . The biscuits - OMG . My first bite - made me think of my grandmother .

The food and service is exceptional!!! I love the Ambiance of the restaurant. Its a nice hidden gem in Missouri City. Ive been here twice and I absolutely love it. I get the Oliver breakfast. The biscuits are to die for they are made to perfection. The grits OMG!! Everything is good. Seasoned just right. You can tell the food is made with LOVE!!

I arrived a little before menu change for lunch. I had a hot chocolate and lobster bisque. Both were delicious and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I was able to use Missouri city s wifi and catchup on some work while dining in.

I loved this restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful decor and the soft, comfortable chairs. I ordered the Italian soup which was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh and homemade. Great service, food and ambience. A little pricey, but worth it.

This is a hidden gem that we just discovered this morning for breakfast! Placed a to go order, received a text within 10 min that it was ready. The food was still hot after a 20 min drive home! Not only that but it was absolutely delicious (and toddler approved)! This will be a new go to spot for our family. Missouri city needs more good local eateries, and I m so glad we found this one.

My new fave place! Stopped by for lunch and had the red pepper & smoked gouda soup and The Overnighter sandwich - both were unbelievably good. Service was phenomenal, the vibe of the entire place is so peaceful and they have done a really nice job with every detail of the interior. And the cappucino was one of the best Ive ever had! A fairly new restaurant with beautiful interior. The colors are simple yet inviting. The restaurant is a little small (mostly tables for groups of 2 or 4) but they have a long table in the middle of the restaurant for a group of 6. Menu is simple and limited but in a good way. I had The Prime Time, and a side of Italian soup. The soup was scrumptious! It was loaded with sausage and potato, and well seasoned. A soup side wasn t good enough for my stomach, a bowl would be better. I like the buns on The Prime Time. Love that they were buttered and grilled. Yum! The filet mignon could be better seasoned for more flavors though.

Looking for a breakfast option and noticed that they just started serving breakfast. Went inside and the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the colors looked great. Greeted by friendly staff and decided on getting the scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit with fig jam and a side of potatoes. Everything is extremely flavorful and did not disappoint. Wife had the Bacon Me Crazy biscuit and the iced coffee. Usually when you get iced coffee from a coffee shop, there is an after taste. This coffee did not and was one of the best iced coffees I have had. Looking forward to returning and trying other dishes.

Definitely GOURMET fare ~ Every food item we ordered was like the BEST weve ever tasted. First visit, but not the last ~ gotta keep going back until weve tried everything on menu (will take awhile since we live in CA, but do travel a lot, and frequent Houston :-) Started with the best ever Lobster Bisque. Wife had delicious Italian soup with potatos & sausage (forgot name, but similar to an Olive Garden selection, only much better). We both had the Warm Baked Potato Salad ~ never before had anything comparable. Wife had Chips, great Pasta Salad, Filet Mignon Sliders (I know, who ever heard of pairing Filet Mignon & Sliders??) = Delish!!! Sliced thin juicy filet melts in your mouth. I had best Ruben EVER!! Topped it all off with Strawberry Shortcake Biscuit & gourmet cup of Hot Chocolate. Amazing experience. If we lived here would be a weekly stop. Food is fresh and tastes great. The story about Oliver is heartwarming. However, for only serving sandwiches, salads, and soups the food takes a long to come out especially for lunch service. Definitely need fountain sodas if customers are going to wait long for food. Some customers are done with their can of soda by the time the food comes out. Wish yall the best!

Key Points - This place is beautifully designed. The food is phenomenal. Between my husband and I, we got a cappuccino and tea, grilled cheese and tomato roasted pepper soup, and the Reuben sand which. Everything excellent! The cappuccino coffee flavor was excellent. Its a soup and sandwich place only open for lunch. 11-3 M-Sat. No alcohol. Our dishes included the Polblano soup, the Ollie and I opened the sandwich in photo full of fresh ingredients, the potato salad was super, the Greek salad was yummy. Give a try. Theyre new, just opened and run by a family I hear with a chef.
