wont be back most likely. i had a credit for a quesadilla because last time I picked up a vegetable quesadilla it had like no cheese. I called on the phone and told him I had a credit and after being on hold for like two minutes, someone answered the phone, a different person and just said hello, you re supposed to say like hi I m the manager. How can I help you. not just hello. I shouldn t have to re-explain the situation so I explained that I had a credit and said I would just do a beef quesadilla this time with extra cheese. You would think the fact that I m picking it up after they messed up they would have a little better customer service or would make a little more effort. I have like a pinch of lettuce and tomato , they always give me chips and salsa, just gotten chips and salsa, especially because they are trying to make it right. greasy as hell Super unfriendly on the phone in person. most quesadillas come with with rice and beans or at least guacamole so yeah unless it s the only thing open I m done here

Going to another restaurant I was always interested in La Escondida. I had never heard anything about them, didn t want to waste my money nor be disappointed. Ohhh but to my surprise let me just say I had to go back a 2nd time it was so good! I mean both times I pretty much ordered the same thing Cream Cheese Stuffed soapillas, Chicken and Spinach Quesadilla, and a Fajita Combo Plate. The food came with Salsa and Chips. The Quesadillas were a bit soggy but still good. Also the Fajita tacos were also a soggy since they seem to use a liquid cheese. The flavor of the meat/food altogether was still good. The chips were not good though as they taste mostly burnt and had a weird after taste. However the Cream Cheese Stuffed soapillas were sooo delicious. I will most definitely eat here again! Both times I picked up my food the restaurant was nice and not a lot of people there. They also serve breakfast only on Saturdays. Be sure to sign up to be a VIP hopefully they have some good rewards and discounts for us as we support this business.

I have tried Mexican food several times and this is the best! I love it! I tried the quesadillas, the tacos, the empanadas, the chips and everything is delicious. Cocktails and desserts too. The price is really good for the quality of the food, you can see the quality of all the ingredients in every bite. The attention is charming and really good. The restaurant is very nice and cozy. All the decoration, the music... it is very well set to have a good time. Access to the restaurant is very comfortable even if you have reduced mobility and the property has a large parking lot. It deserves 5 stars!! A place that I recommend for those who want to try high-quality Mexican food, for those who want to find dishes with dedication and love of home, for anyone who enjoys good food. Without a doubt, whenever I am in Houston I will stop by to visit them. Kid-friendliness: Yes! Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect.

Basically, the food, from the chips to our main dish, was TERRIBLE. I could taste the old oil in our quesadillas and empanadas. The worst empanadas I have tried in Missouri City. The chips, some were overcooked, darker than others. The waiters are, so busy they just take their time when it is time for you to pay the bill....and they shove the tip on your face, selected by them, so you can just insert your card and tap pay. I will no be going back to La Esvondida in a while.

This was our 1st time here and our server, Chris, was so fun to have as our server. After many questions from us, he recommended the Brussel Sprouts and the Redfish that wasnt on the menu. The margarita flights were exceptional! Strawberry, Mango, Coconut, and the original lime are the flavors however if you re not a fan of a flavor you can double up on another flavor. I ordered the chicken and spinach quesadilla and omg! The filling was soooo creamy! If you re a fan of a spinach dip then I would highly recommend this quesadilla as the quesadilla reminds you of a chicken spinach dip. The service was exceptional as well! My waiter was Jose however everyone checked on our table including the manager Nahum! Water was knocked over on our table and went into one of the ladies plate and Nahum was very understanding and had no problem replacing her plate with a new one. If you do end with any food leftover they also package up your plate! If you re in the mood for tasty Mexican food give this place a shot and you will not be disappointed!

I like the food, however their online menu is deceiving. The kids menu has one option that includes as stated 2 fajita tacos with rice and beans. I placed a to go order over the phone of the two fajita tacos from the kids menu along with two other dinner dishes, and when I got back home the kids plate one had one taco. I called back the restaurant and they said that the kids plate comes with two ground ground beef tacos but they only put one taco if i want fajita. I don t have a problem with that but why wouldn t they specify this on their menu or let me know when I put the to go in order over the phone??? We visited this restaurant on Saturday for dinner, it was new for us. This place is amazing, they are preparing food on the time when you ordered and it s just for you according to your wish and taste food service awesome and you will get hot delicious fresh food every time. We just moved here from Houston and are so happy that we ve found our place. There aren t many really good Mexican/Tex-Mex spots in the area, so this place was so exciting to find. The menu is expansive and the food is delicious. The charro beans and tortillas are homemade, and it makes such a difference. The drink menu is phenomenal. We tried two margaritas and they were both delicious. There are so many great drinks and flights, we re going to have to go back and try them all. And the service it is phenomenal. You can tell they care about their customers and are very attentive. The GM, Juan, even stopped by customers tables asking about their meals and experience. It was a nice touch that really ended our first visit here on a high note.

We had a party for my wifes birthday and reserved a room for 15. Our waiter Dennis set up the room before hand so I could bring in flowers and balloons. The wait staff was excellent, the guests were pleased with the drink and food selection. We had a great time! We stayed long after our meal to talk. Highly recommend for parties and family gatherings. Update: we went to Taco Tuesday last night. The service, drinks, and food were all excellent. I highly recommend La Escondida, one of my favorite Tex Mex restaurants.

Me and the wife with her included went here to eat after a family function. The wait staff greeted us in, asked how many, and asked if we needed a booster for the child. They put us in a nice area for large parties of guest and tended to us very well. Now, for all you out there reading this pay attention. When you and your family are talking and enjoying yourselves while deciding about the food, be patient. The wait staff are being kind and respectful to let us enjoy our dining moment. We ordered separately, everyone asked questions, everyone made adjustments to their meals, and the appetizers did their job. Received the food nice and hot. Everything is horribly bland and the salsa, while it did have a nice kick to it, just tasted like tomato soup. We ate just enough so we weren t still hungry and left as soon as possible. Plates were barely touched and the waiter, while nice, did not ask why unless he eats there too and knows why.

Ouch, my 1st time here and gf talked it up but dont bother stopping, keep going. Ordered nachos with ground beef (soggy) one corona and one lrg frozen margarita....$48 bucks!!! Menu had no prices and all I can guess theyre trying to cater to the Lake Olympia / Sienna crowd but serving Taco Bell. Lastly the friends we went with talked up the mole sauce that tasted like a teenagers cup of coffee, WAY to much sugar. Im from So Cal and traveled extensively south of the border but the first problem is the Tex in Tex-Mex (no offense Texans Trump 2024) the second problem is that Ninfas on Navigation is a long drive from Mo-City..

This has become my favorite restaurant. The staff is always super professional and extra friendly. The food is ALWAYS cooked to perfection. Wonderful atmosphere!!!!!!
