What s the point of going to a park that we pay for, if it s gonna be swarming with egotistical cops, that are armed to the teeth with weapons of mass murder????!!!! When I take my family to a park, I expect it to be stress free. That means no harassment, no presence of any kind of armed men, no bullying from them, and no having to give any explanations whatsoever to them, about mine and my familiy s presence there. Oh ., and also no risk of getting shot either.

The area is very good, its just that its neglected and you find a lot of trash from beer in cans and empty helmets... And it needs a little more lighting... It would be great if they gave it a little fix and thus be able to see more children playing and people exercising...

Picnic area: This large park has been cut in half by a fence for the government to use for immigration enforcement. The remaining park open to the public its being used in part to store boats for the river police to enforce immigration as well. Local burgers are upset that the damn area is not accessible to bird and wildlife viewing as well.

Spacious places with attractions for children... it is located on the southern border of the US with Mexico from there you can see the international bridge that connects both countries, we went in winter and it felt quite cold, but at other times of the year it must be a real pleasure to visit you

This County Park is a hidden gem. Entrance free Monday-Friday Saturdays & Sundays $ 5 - Vehicle Over 90 acres ; well kept grass, plenty of trees, play grounds for kids, 40 + barbecue pits, clean accessible bathrooms,100 ft. wheelchair accessible fishing pier, boat ramp. Great place for;Barbecue, Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Biking. Get here early, because it is open only from 8 am - 5 pm Fell like a VIP ; Always guarded by Homeland Security, D.P.S. and Hidalgo Co. Constables.
