Several times I have had problems with my food. Something is always wrong or things are missing. A few days ago I bought wings and they came out super salty that I couldnt even eat them. Today I ordered wings again and I told him please dont have them salty. Well, they gave them to me without flavor, just the buffalo ones taste decent, the lemon pepper tastes like nothing, like it was on purpose.

We bought a mix combo with mollejas and tripas, the meat was ice cold! I told the server took it back, the cook put it in the microwave a few seconds, brought it back out and the pirata with cheese and tripa it was still cold the cheese was not even melted, my husband got a fish plate, the rice was cold like take out of fridg the waitress offered to take it back and my husband said no im not eating it! , the cook is the worst! And the food was nasty! Waste of my money 34$ bucks in this place!!! Dont waste you money!

Went to eat there for my wifes bday since she was craving tacos. We ordered 3 orders of tacos and 1 cheeseburger with bacon. tacos came out and they were good just the mollejas were too greasy. The problem arose when they took 30 minutes for my sons burger. Waitress was standing in a corner eating chip the whole time. She finally came over and assured us the burger was coming right up. Another 15 minutes went by and she finally brought it out. She assured us that it took so long cause it they wanted to make it right. Checked it and it was missing cheese and the bacon. I didnt want to argue with her so i just asked for the tab. I notified her that it was wrong and assured me that she wouldnt charge the extras. She still charged it. Still paid due to just wanting to get out of there. The service can be a hit and a miss here.

The waitress made a mistake in an order that we repeated 4 times when we saw that she did not understand. Then maybe he brought it wrong and at the exit he said Im going to pay for it because it was my mistake but you cant take the food, I have to pay for it, the rest stays here. I had the tacos de bistec combo and they were average, not too much meat on them, the taste is good, you get side charro beans which they are nice and the papa asada was very good, right combination of cheese. Restrooms were dirty and overall place looks old. The server was courteous and did a very good job. Overall is an ok place to eat honestly I only go there just to get the papa asada with cheese.

Although the good is usually really good. These last times weve gone theyve taken close to an hour when they only had 2 vehicles in front of us. And when they gave us our food it was all cold and soggy. They gave us a $2 discount because they realized they had just left our order outside. But $2 doesnt make up for waiting close to an hour and then for our botana to taste disgusting all the chips were soggy and the fajita and beans were cold to the touch. Enough where you could see the grease getting white on top of the fajita. Weve had the same issue of food taking forever even foe breakfast hours. It usually taste good, but do not recommend it based on how long they take. However, the other Don Felipes closer to Conway on 5 Mile line they take your order, and food is always freshly made and it doesnt take forever.

Lets start with , it is very hot in south Texas in July . The restaurant is a quaint little taqueria , with indoor and outdoor seating . We opted for the indoor so we could stay cooler . Well , it was a little better . The place was busy for lunch , there are about 15 tables of 4 inside and all but 3 were occupied . Nobody outside . So we placed our order and received our drinks and sat and chit-chated . We noticed the crowd thinning until it was just us . At the 45 minute mark of waiting for tacos , we got up and asked for our bill and told them to forget the food . They were extremely apologetic and said the food was ready and it actually was . A mistake not to inform us of a delay . Anyway , we got our food and disappointingly began to eat , everyone was quiet until we looked up at each other . We were all nodding in approval . The food was delicious , and the server checked on us frequently . Even brought us a signature GIANT stuffed baked potato , on the house . We all agreed that it was well worth the wait , first time there for all of us . I recommend the tacos with fried tortillas , yum !!

Boycotting this place. The owner serves old food. Mistreats his employees, and doesnt pay them well. I believe he is currently under investigation for employee fraud. Not to mention the cockroach I found at the bottom of my baked potato, cooked. Found out he doesnt like paying for fumigation. Unsanitary, and unsafe working and eating conditions.

This place is popular because its been here for so many years but its lacking in many ways. Service was too slow dine in and the menus were so freaking gross! They were literally falling apart so I could only imagine the lack of up keep and TLC the rest of the restaurant lacks. The beans were way too hot to even eat and once they cooled off enough, they had no seasoning. Tacos de maíz were too oily and not even crisp and not to mention I ordered a Joya de Manzana and got some knock off brand instead and was not even told ahead of time. I guess next time it will be Taqueria Marys instead.
